Drift expected Jayce to fight him as he carried her to the hanger. She let him put her in his alt mode. She knew where they were going, but is exhausted to fight him. J.R. doesn't know if she should be happy or worried.

Drift led Jayce into the building, with Crosshairs and J.R. following behind them.
Bulma and Cade sat at the table, out of their way. J.R. is happy seeing Jamie getting oxygen via a venturi mask; means she's breathing on her own, even if she's still needing strong oxygen support. She sat on one of the chairs and took Jamie's hand, relieved she's not warm to the touch.
Jayce stares at Jamie for a few seconds before reading the monitor. The slightly lowered heart rate scares her, resulting in a flashback of the first time Jamie flatlined.
"Jayce?" She barely hears J.R. calling her name, "Jayce?"
She is unaware of her surroundings and feels dizzy.
J.R. watches her pass out into Drift's arms.
This was a mistake, and I suggested it.
She hugs Crosshairs while burying her head in his chest, scared to watch Bulma and Drift take care of Jayce.
Cade and Crosshairs aren't sure if they should take J.R. away from the situation or not.

"She'll be ok," Bulma assures everyone as she draws blood from Jayce's arm. She instructs Cade to begin an infusion of fluids as she opens a portal for herself.
"You've watched me do this countless times," she assures him before leaving the building.
"Bulma, I...," Cade yells but Bulma ignores him, "sure I may not be able to make a serious error with IV fluids, but I have no idea how to start an IV."
"Then I'll help you," J.R. assures him as she walks up to the table.
Jayce wakes up before they start; J.R. realizing this is severe dehydration.
How could this have happened? J.R. wonders, worrying Jayce has been secretly dumping out the nutrition drinks and water they've been given. J.R. struggles to stay focused until she and Cade are finished. She knows everyone is beginning to worry she's dehydrated as they watch her sit at the table.

"Are you ok?" Cade asks, worried.
"She shouldn't be severely dehydrated unless she hasn't been drinking," J.R. explains as tears roll down her face.
How the hell did she secretly dump the liquids without anyone knowing? J.R. questions.

A few more days and she would have been critically ill. Drift realizes as he looks at Jayce. She was drinking enough to keep us from suspecting anything until she passed out from fear seeing Jamie. She is not ok. I take it back, she's critically ill now.

This is not good. Bulma frets as she looks at the blood test results, trying to figure out how to treat Jayce.

She returns to the building, not liking she can't tell everyone all Jayce needs is I.V. fluids. Seeing J.R. sitting at the table with her head resting in her arms in the table as Crosshairs rubs her back didn't help.
"How bad is it?" Cade asks.
"She's very sick; I have two patients now," Bulma sighs.
"Do you want me to help? You know I'd rather not until I've had practice, but-."
"It's fine, Cade; Jayce is going to need I.V. treatment for a few days. She'll be out of it without needing to be sedated. I'm hoping she didn't cause a problem with keeping food down."
Bulma gets to work on Jayce's treatment while Cade explains the situation to J.R., not knowing Bee and Hound returned.
"You've got to be kidding me?!" Hound sighs, seeing Jayce and how weak she looks.
"It's my fault," J.R. says in a sad tone before hugging Crosshairs and letting herself cry, unaware Jayce hears her, but is too weak to move and is struggling to stay awake. She feels herself being covered with a blanket. Drift sits next to her and takes her hand, unsure what to say. Feeling like he failed to see she was letting herself slowly die; slow suicide if that was a term. Now J.R. — who was doing fine mentally — is a wreck thinking about how Jayce was hoping to die.
Why must new challenges arise when one is dealt with?
He watches Crosshairs carry J.R. out of the building, which worries Jayce. Drift is able to keep her calm and watch her fall asleep, though he worries they didn't catch this in time and he just watched her die.
"She's sleeping," Bulma assures him.

"Jayce will be ok," Crosshairs assures J.R. as he walks around the junkyard.
"Take her- for a drive," Bee suggests, "she might be - like Jamie."
I hope this works. Crosshairs puts J.R. on the passenger side of his alt mode before getting on the driver side and driving out of the junkyard, hating he has to let J.R. cry. All he can do is hold her hand. It's a long twenty minutes before J.R. is asleep.

"Bulma," Crosshairs whispers while holding J.R. He didn't think she'd get another bed from a capsule, though it's not a medical bed. She let Drift move Jayce a little away from the corner that's been a makeshift medbay to allow the second bed to be put close to Jayce's.
Crosshairs discovers J.R. isn't in a deep sleep as he tries to lay her down. She wakes up and hugs him. He sits by Jamie's bed, not surprised Drift is holding Jamie. J.R. smiles at this sight.
"Everything will be ok," Drift smiles.
Though no one knows if Jayce will be ok once Jamie recovers or soon afterward. They hope she can recover mentally. J.R. hates not knows this, thinking is she going to watch her two friends be very depressed?

Everyone is silent until her stomach growling killed the silence. J.R. didn't want to leave, even if Jayce is asleep. She knew Jayce is weak; afraid she's weak to the point she may die even though she's getting treatment. Crosshairs tries to get her to leaves, but instead, Bulma tells them she'll get J.R. dinner. The mechs realize all this time, Bulma has been going back to her dimension to get food.
"Vegeta and I already told her she could have made a small kitchen here," Cade explains.
"And all this time I thought she just cleaned up as in putting the appliances back in the capsules," Hound sighs.
No one said it out loud but made a mental note for if there's the next time knowing it's better to be prepared than think this nightmare won't happen again.

Everyone sat at the table to eat the dinner Bulma brought, including Drift. Everyone is feeling happy seeing Drift smile, but there was the feeling of sadness that two of their friends laid in beds; one asleep and the other unconscious.

After dinner, Crosshairs wanted to get J.R. to do something fun, but she refuses to leave the building. He didn't know Hound went back to Bulma's dimension to get the tablet she's been using.

It's the best we'll be able to do. Crosshairs thinks as he sits by a wall with J.R. leaning on his chest, playing a game on the tablet. Drift sits next to him, feeling both happy his girl is getting better and displeased with himself for failing to realize Jayce was trying to die.
What am I going to do when she recovers from this? He worries unaware Crosshairs sees how worried he is.

Two hours pass before J.R. feels tired, but afraid to sleep. Crosshairs and Drift look at each other, silently agreeing to use sleep aid.
They try to get J.R. to go to bed without drugs, but she ends up crying as she tells them how scared she is to take her eyes off Jayce. J.R. tries to fight the sleep aid Bulms injected, but Crosshairs' rocking motion is making it impossible; she gives in after twenty minutes of trying not to sleep.
"So much for things getting better," Drift sighs in frustration. Crosshairs hugs him but is unsure what to say.
Bulma assures them everything will be ok and insists they go recharge. The two mechs go as she wants but by the building.
