SailorStar9: After getting Chapter 51 out, this is Chapter 52 and we are nearing the end of this fic. (Sighs) Guys and girls, is it too hard for you to leave a review, instead of just putting this fic up on your favorited list and story alerts? So, please be a dear and read and review. Seriously guys, we need more obscure Sailor Moon crossover fics!

Disclaimers: Shokugeki no Souma and Sailor Moon belong to Tsukuda Yūto-sensei and Takeuchi Naoko-sensei respectively. The song lyrics used in this chapter belong their composers. Me, on the other hand, own absolutely nothing, except the pairings in this fic and plot, I hope.

Chapter 52: Food Wars

"Looks like Yukihira finally decided what he's gonna make." Yoshino saw Souma starting his prep.

"Did he just taste Nakiri's sauce without asking?" Sakaki blinked.

In the arena in front of Mana...

Seriously, what's with that face of yours? Souma wondered. We all know you are not like that. You're the chick who's always looking down on me from on high and provoking me. That's who you are. That's been our whole history together. I'll wake your ass up, Nakiri. This dish is just for you. "Sorry to keep you waiting." he presented his dish.

"Tell me, what is this dish?" Mana asked.

"I'm glad you asked." Souma grinned. "It's a tempura bowl with egg as a main ingredient."

In the audience...

"A tempura bowl?" Mito echoed.

In the arena in front of Mana...

Is it the dish from before? Erina recalled the egg tempura bowl Souma once prepared for her.

"I made two bowls of this dish." Souma added. "So I'd like the Bookmaster to eat it and you as well, Nakiri. This isn't the same dish you had before. I've actually been secretly thinking about how I could change up the dish for a while now. I call this my Souma-style Eggs Benedict Over Rice Fir for a Queen. Dig in."

In the audience...

"We made it in time." Mimasaka remarked, the assault team managed to arrive to the competition site.

"Interesting." Ami let loose a low whistle.

In the arena in front of Mana...

How can this be so delicious? Erina winced, taking a bite and both Nakiri females were overwhelmed by the sheer deliciousness. The sauce that covers the whole dish... this is a Japanese-style Hollandaise sauce accented with yuzu salt and soy sauce.

Then there's pork grilled to a crisp that's balanced perfectly with the light flavors of the shio kombu and shiso leaves mixed into the rice. Mana reveled.

The star of this dish... the crispy tempura egg that melts on top of your tongue... Erina mused. He must have deep-fried it after making it into a poached egg.

The egg white couldn't possibly be any softer... Mana added. The yolk is velvety smooth, to the point that it's almost raw.

But the fact that he was able to bread that soft-boiled egg and deep fry it while somehow retaining its shape... Erina marveled. Just how much did he actually improve?

"The Egg Benedict take you back, doesn't it?" Souma recalled. "Instead of a muffin, I used the mixed rice you'd find at a Japanese diner, then I modified the poached egg, bacon and Hollandaise sauce to fir my style. I somehow managed to pass back then, but number-wise, you totally annihilated me. That's why I've been researching your dish ever since. How was your dish better than mine? What changes could I apply to make it truly my own? Nakiri, right now, you've completely forgotten who you're cooking for." he reminded. "Honestly, all that whining and whimpering, it's not like you at all. Quit worrying about pointless things and be true to yourself. Who do you want to cook for more than anyone in the world right now?" he pointed to the hidden Mana.

He's right. Erina admitted. I just wanted to hear my mother say, 'I'd love to eat your cooking, Erina.' she shoveled the rice bowl into her mouth. That's all. Mother, I've missed you. I've missed you so much.

The Gifting pulse emitted from both Mana and Erina was different this time around; instead of the usual violet clothes disrobing, the gentle waves shed the clothes of the people in the vicinity.

In the audience...

"I'm sure I still have my clothes on..." Yoshino moaned, engulfed in the soft pulse.

"But I feel so free." Sakaki gushed.

"This feels so good..." Isami moaned.

"Is this the Gifting?" Hisako wondered.

"No, it's completely different." Ami corrected. "It's a more gentle, soothing pulse."

"I can feel the wavelengths of all the ingredients, so happy to be cooked..." Tsukasa marveled.

"What the hell is this?" Yoshino squealed when a giant dust cloud erupted from the castle keep.

"The castle keep..." Alice gaped after the dust settled.

"It disrobed?" Hisako exclaimed.

"Now, I've seen everything..." Ami muttered in disbelief, the castle keep having been stripped of its color. "Alice, I thought Nakiri Gifting only affects living beings. Explain that!"

"More insane Nakiri genetics?" Alice offered.

In the arena in front of Mana...

"It's disgusting." Erina declared, putting down the empty bowl. "It's utterly disgusting in comparison to the dish I'm about to present. Just you wait. I'll let you taste the best dish the God Tongue has ever created."

"Now, Nakiri, let's see that dish of yours." Souma grinned after Erina finished cooking.

"Just you wait." Erina accepted. "Now, eat up." she presented a portion to the redhead.

Sometime later...

For the benefit of Ami and Makoto who were not Tōtsuki students and therefore not allowed on campus grounds, the entire group had decided to hold the celebration party in a karaoke lounge.

"So, ground rules?" Isshiki voiced, fully clothed for once.

"Two basic rules." Ami held up two fingers. "One: everyone gets a turn. Two: you can't skip your turn."

"You can either go solo, as a pair or as a group." Makoto supplied.

"What do you mean by a 'group'?" Nene asked her younger surrogate sister.

"Three people and upwards." Ami answered.

"Everyone okay with that?" Isshiki turned to the others.

"Sure, why not?" Daigo answered for everyone.

"So, how do we go about doing this?" Ibusaki inquired.

"Clockwise would be easier." Ami pondered. "Or we could go according to age."

"Just flip a coin and get it over with." Eizan huffed.

"Thank you for volunteering yourself, Eizan-san." Ami piped in jokingly. "Sakaki-san, Yoshino-san, I trust the two of you to pick the appropriate songs for everyone."

"Leave that to us." Yoshino assured.

Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
I have nobody for my own
I'm so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
I have nobody for my own
I'm so lonely

The squeaky chipmunk voice sounded over the loudspeakers.

"Yoshino, Sakaki!" the embarrassed Eizan roared on stage.

"No take-backs, Eizan-senpai!" Souma shouted.

"Fine!" the bespectacled third-year retorted.

"You two are evil." Isami whispered in the midst of Eizan's chosen song.

"Thanks, we try." Sakaki beamed.

"The next one sounds like..." Isshiki remarked, the beginning notes of O-Zone's 'Dragostea Din Tei' sounded. "Eizan, stay there. Kuga, we're up."

"How long do you think it'd take them to realize the lyrics are in Romanian?" Nene mused as the three third-years started rocking to the pop song.

"Sakaki, Yoshino, I have a personal request." Takumi informed the two girls.

"Right, got it." Sakaki nodded and put in the next song.

"Our turn, Isami." Takumi told his brother as 'Habanera' from Carmen started playing.

"Habanera, really?" Ami quirked a brow at the twins after they finished singing.

"Hey, it's a classic." Takumi pointed out.

"It's a warm-up." Isami corrected.

"Yukihira seems to be in a bad mood." Sakaki mused, seeing the pouting Souma, the group was currently taking a break from karaoke.

"I can understand how he feels." Ibusaki agreed.

"Nakiri did steal that victory, after that." Marui noted.

"Now, now, Souma." Megumi tried to pacify her boyfriend.

"You got second place." Mito reminded. "You should be proud."

"But, I was rather surprised." Takumi spoke, mid-bite of his cheese stick.

"To think that the reason you and Kuga-senpai came to the BLUE wasn't just to observe." Isami added, swallowing his mouthful of soda.

"We were secretly following Noir." Isshiki nodded. "On orders from our Commander-in-Chief."

"I'm super awesome, even as a spy." Kuga piped in. "I made sure to do my job."

"And to think Ami managed to even rope in Eizan-senpai in to help." Takumi nudged the younger girl beside him.

"I was getting pretty sick of those underworld chefs, myself." Eizan snorted.

"I'm pretty sure I remember you being totally on board onee-sama's 'Noir's Rescue Plan'." Mimasaka reminded. "That's why I decided to help out, by infiltrating Noir."

"Your intel was actually useful, Mimasaka." Kurokiba admitted.

"Because of that, we were able to squash a deal on some illegal ingredients." Hayama nodded.

"Though, that wasn't the only thing." Kurokiba smirked.

"That was right around the time I was in the semi-finals of the BLUE, wasn't it?" Souma recalled.

"I heard you were with them, Kinokuni-senpai." Megumi pointed out.

"Momo-senpai and Saitō-senpai also helped out." Nene added.

"You worked so hard, Kinokuni." Isshiki beamed. "Even though roughhousing didn't seem to be your thing."

"I heard that Rindō-senpai and Megishima-senpai took out a huge smuggling ring overseas, too." Isami supplied.

"That was in Paris, if I remember." Ami added.

"Really?" Takumi and Souma exclaimed.

"Kinokuni-senpai, it's our turn!" Alice pulled Nene towards Yoshino and Sakaki. After putting on the selected song, the two belted out 'Cruel Angel's Thesis' from 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'.

Ibusaki, Souma, Marui, Daigo and Shōji were urged on stage by Sakaki and Yoshino, the two girls having selected 'Just Communications' from 'Gundam Wing' for the five boys.

Hayama and Kurokiba were put under the bus by Souma, Sakaki having given them 'White Reflection' from 'Gundam Wing'.

"Since we're onto the Gundam franchise now..." Ami rolled her eyes.

"Yoshino, put us up with Gundam Seed's 'Distance'." Makoto requested. "Ami and I would need you three," she pointed to Megumi, Yoshino and Sakaki. "As background vocals."

"Our girls can sing." Isami was impressed to hear both Ami and Makoto reach the high notes effortlessly.

"Agreed." Takumi was also in awe.

"It's the guys' turn!" Yoshino sang, casting not-so-subtle looks at the nine second-years.

"And we have just the song." Sakaki grinned.

"Queen?" Marui deathpanned when the opening theme of 'We Will Rock You' began. "Seriously?"

"You guys need to loosen up." Sakaki stuck out her tongue.

"Seems like it's us third-years to go up." Isshiki hustled the other three third-years on stage, Sakaki already putting on 'Sunshine' from 'Nurarihyon No Mago'.

"Guys, we're already running out of time." Ami reminded, taking a look at the digital clock on the wall.

"Then, you and Kino-san should wrap this up, won't you, imouto-chan?" Isshiki gave Ami a smile.

"Fine." Ami sighed. "Yoshino, give us 'Honō no Tobira' from 'Gundam Seed Destiny'."
