Dixie frowned, concentrated on her phone rather than whatever story Jason was telling.

"-then he dowsed the man in gasoline and threw a lighted match stick on the ground."

"What?" Dixie asked, eyes wide, head shooting up to stare at her brother. "He lit a man on fire?!"

"Yes, we're you paying attention?" Jason complains before smirking. "Roy obviously didn't do that, I just wanted to see when you'll start paying attention to me instead of your phone. What are you even so concentrated about?"

Her brother tries to peer over to look at whatever she was looking up in her phone but she shields him away, hiding her phone in her pocket. "None of your business," she huffs.

"Most probably has something to do with this," Tim says, eyes trained on the television. The both of them turn to see that both Tim and Damian were watching the news where the newscaster was talking about a recent break-in at a laboratory facility in Paris following last week's break-in at the storage facility in Geneva.

"Why would Dixie be concerned with that?" Jason frowned.

"It's following the European tour of Haly's Circus," Damian tells him, eyes trained on the television. "Even on this first robbery in Geneva, the police have been looking into the circus, can't be a coincidence the circus appears, there's a robbery. But now that there's another robbery at the same place the circus just had a show, the police would be definitely be following the circus' next stop."

"Makes sense," Jason nods. "But what doesn't make sense is why the both of you know this," he says, pointing at their two oldest.

"Father and I were talking about it over breakfast earlier," Damian answers, earning an eye roll from Tim.

"Bruce and Damian like to be updated with what happens with Haly's Circus," Tim tells the both of them, ignoring the glare their oldest brother sent him. "So when they found out about the break-in last week at Geneva, the first stop of the European Tour, they already knew the Genevan Police Department would look into Haly's for precautionary measures. So when news broke this morning about the break-in in Paris, Bruce contacted Haly if he needed help with customs."

"And what did Uncle Haly say?" Dixie asked, sitting up straighter, eyes trained and focused on her two oldest brothers.

"He said he didn't need help," Damian answered with a frown.

"What?" Dixie asks, shocked. "What do you mean he didn't need help?"

"He said he didn't need Bruce's help," Tim corrected.

"Then send in the League," Dixie frowned, getting frustrated.

"The League doesn't handle these kinds of situations, Dixie," Damian reminds her. "And Batman can't get involved as well."

"It's not part of his job description," Jason agrees, joking around. "Then why not the Team? Won't Bruce allow that?"

"The rest of the League might not, it's not that big of a concern for the rest of them," Tim frowns. "For them, it's just a small series of burglaries that don't have might have nothing in common. We can't give away our reason why we're connected to the Circus without giving away our identities."

"Most of the League knows our identities," Dixie growled, sitting up and staring at her brothers in anger. "Why are all of you so adamant that we can't do anything about it when we can?!"

"Well until Bruce gets the go signal from the rest of the League, the Team can't do anything about it," Damian scolds her.

"Dami!" she yells in hurt and anger.

Her older brother sighs, lowering his head. Damian purses his lips as both Tim and Jason watch the both of them in silence, no longer wanting to involve themselves in the fight. "Gather the Team tomorrow, Robin will give the team briefing about their next mission in Bruges."

"What?!"

Tim and Jason sat up, shocked at their oldest brother's suggestion while Dixie had a large smile on her face.

"Bruce would kill her when she gets back!" Tim argues, not used to their oldest brother acting like this.

"Then I'll tell Father it was my idea," Damian shrugs, eyes going back to the television.

"Wha- but-"

"Thanks so much, Dami!" Dixie smiled rushing to hug her brother.

"But you are to keep in contact with us," Damian tells her, accepting the hug but not particularly hugging her back. "Todd, Drake, and I would cover for you and the rest of the Team during your absence but try to make it quick."

"Wow, Demon Spawn! Didn't think you had it in you to be all mushy!" Jason teased, earning a glare from Damian.

"I'll only accept contact from you guys," Dixie smiled, breaking the hug, a huge smile still on her face. "Bruce can't do anything without drawing suspicion from the rest of the League or the Team."

Tim sighed at this, looking a bit dejected but knew nothing he would say would change their minds. "Okay fine, I've analyzed the things that have been stolen and already came up with possible places the thief might strike up next. It might help you and the Team track down or find out the thief's motive and next stop."

Jason raised an eyebrow at this, a smirk on his face. "Not even a moment ago you were going to blow a fuse for her going on this mission but apparently you've been looking into it more than you want us to believe."

"Oh shut up," Tim grumbled. "Just go get ready, we'll try to cover for you as much as you can."
