"The meaning of a hero?" Kirishima asked. "What do you mean?"

All Might chucked, his muscular body starting to quiver (not that the redhead noticed). "I mean your definition of a hero. To me, a hero should always be ready to sacrifice himself for those in need regardless of their circumstances. A young man re-taught me that." His eyes shifted to where Izuku sat, his grin beaming with pride.

Kirishima gasped. "You mean- Izuku! You've met him before?"

The vernadette laughed heartily. "I've known him for a few years, actually. He actually offered me the title of a hero many times, and I've still refused, even to this day."

"What? But why?"

Izuku smiled. "Because a hero should not worry about fame, glory, riches. A true hero, a symbol of peace, should always focus on the greater good of society, and for those they love. It's not wrong to become a hero for anything but, but if you want to become a true hero, someone absolutely amazing, you need the heart. And young Kirishima, I believe you have just that."

Kirishima felt himself beam.

All Might nodded. "When I saw you fight Overhaul, you were at a severe disadvantage, even with all of your training. Even young Midoriya could not stop the man until I stepped in. Until Toga held you back, you fought with everything you had. You didn't hesitate to have Young Midoriya's back. Which is why I ask: What is the meaning of a hero?"

The redhead was stunned. Never in a thousand years would he have expected such praise from the number one hero. He smiled, his fist tightened. "A hero should always be ready to have his teammates back! It doesn't matter who he saves, hero or villain, vigilante or civilian. If there's someone in need, a true hero should be there for them!"

Izuku and All Might glanced at the other, one shining with pride and the other joy, as the latter readied his finale of the speech.

"Then, young Kirishima! By recognition of me, young Midoriya, and your selfless acts, you are worthy of inheriting my power! You, Kirishima, can be the greatest hero."

Kirishima could not help the tears that formed in his eyes.

"Now- AACH!"

The overjoyed feeling quickly turned to alarm as he watched the number one's muscular form shrivel down to a skeleton in a cloud of smoke. "ALL MIGHT!"

Izuku sighed. He knew this was coming. "Now, Kirishima, before you say a word, this is the real All Might. He's just...gone through a lot."

"I can see that. But, how? Why?"

All Might groaned, lifting his shirt. "You see this scar? Many years ago, I fought a villain who's capabilities match my own. He gave me this scar, and many other injuries. My stomach shriveled, I can barely breath, considering my lungs were practically destroyed in that fight. In all honesty, I can maintain my muscular form for only a few hours a day; just enough to hold one class session."

"Do you mean...your power is dwindling?"

"Wow, how perceptive. You're correct. The amount of time I have left in that form is shortening every time I use it. Which means-"

He immediately shifted to his power form. He plucked a hair from his rabbit like hair ears.

"You must take my power. Digest it!"

Kirishima only blinked. "Yeah, I'm going home."

Izuku's jaw dropped. "Wait! You must eat the hair to gain the power! Would you rather drink his blood?"

"Um, you guys didn't tell me how the quirk works."

All might transformed into his true form once more, and embarrassed look pained on. "Yeah, my bad. To tell the truth, I was originally quirkless."

Kirishima paused. "Like Izuku?"

Izuku only stared in surprise. "That's news to me."

All Might nodded. "Exactly. I'm not the first one to wield this power. There were eight others before me that transformed this power into their own, and transferred it. If you take the quirk, it will make you the ninth wielder.

"After every transfer, the quirk gets stronger, making each wielder a better hero than their predecessor. Above all, each hero was like you: they didn't stop moving when someone was in danger. It's like you said: it doesn't matter who's in danger, you help them. Now, are you willing to inherit my power?"

Kirishima grinned. "Yes!"

All Might nodded, standing up excitedly. "Then eat this!"

The redhead still stared. "Do I have to?"

"Yes!"

"Did you wash it?"

"Not since this morning."

"But, it's so gross!"

"Just eat the hair!"

"Ach! I-zuku, he's forcing my mouth open!"

"You made that choice, Eijiro."

"Tell him...to st-ach! Stop!"

"Nope."

It took thirty minutes for the hair to enter his stomach.

knock knock*

Izuku looked up from the field report he was working on. "Come in!"

In walked Tsuyu, who looked nervous.

Izuku grinned, a small blush dusting over his cheeks. "Oh hi! I forgot you girls were coming over! Eri's okay, right?"

Tsuyu nodded. "She's taking a nap, ribbit. Momo wore her out over teaching how to do hair."

Izuku nodded. "That's good to hear. I'm glad she's starting to socialize again. Now, what brings you here? Please sit down. Anywhere is fine." He glanced at the field report subconsciously, eyeing Tsuyu as she closed the door and sat. His smile faltered a bit at seeing her in a timid state. "Anything wrong?"

The frog like girl nodded. "Can I ask you a question?"

He nodded. "Of course."

After a few minutes, she spoke. "Why do you like me?"

To be perfectly honest, the vigilante was not expecting this. As his mind struggled to form words, he panicked as she stood up.

"This was stupid, I'm sorry for wasting your time, ribbit." She stopped when she felt his hands grab onto hers. "Ribbit?"

He released her hands, a bashful expression gracing his eyes. "I'm sorry, please don't leave? I just wasn't expecting this question."

She sat. "Oh."

He looked at her. "Why wouldn't you think I like you the way I do?" His head tilted to his right, genuine curiosity filling his eyes this time.

She looked away. "Overhaul said it best. I'm a freak. He said you wouldn't like an abnormal creature like me. My hands are bigger than the other girls, I'm too much like a frog, and to make matters even worse, I'm too blunt. I speak my mind, ribbit. I'm not exactly pretty like Jirou, and I'm not as smart as Momo or Yui. I'm just… me."

"And that's why I like you."

"Ribbit?"

He smiled, his face exuding warmth. "Tsuyu. You're you. You're beautiful, amazing, insanely talented, and you're just… you! You didn't hesitate to take that first leap when it came to the internships, you tried to save Iida when he was downed by Stain. You're selfless, brave, bold. You even sacrificed yourself to keep Kota and Eri from the grip of that madman."

Tears welled up in her eyes.

"You're my hero, Tsuyu, don't forget that. And that's why I like you. You're amazingly yourself, and you should be damn proud of it."

He finished his sentence just as the frog girl latched herself to him, tears pooling in his shirt. He returned the hug, a gentle smile spread. "You don't have anything to worry about. I like you for who you are."

He was surprised by the kiss that assaulted his lips.

His heart beats faster and faster as he returns the kiss, his hands holding her tight as she deepened it. His eyes widened as her tongue explored the inside of his mouth, eventually reaching his own. He was especially surprised by the quiet moan that purred from her throat.

Deciding to stop before they went too far, he let go, a dopey grin on both of their faces.

"Wow."

That was the only word that was spoken in the next five minutes as they shyly held hands, their eyes meeting.

After a while, they decided to call it. Izuku stood up and stretched. "Hey Tsuyu," she looked at him, a blush deepening. "Would you like to go out for dinner, let's say tomorrow? It can be whatever you want."

She smiled, her eyes closing with glee. "I'd love that, Izu. Seven?"

He grinned. "Seven it is. I'll pick you up."

"Alright, Izu. Don't be late, ribbit~" she swayed her hips as she walked out the door, but not before sneaking a quick peck on the trip.

All was quiet as he stood at the door, his mind in chaos as he registered what happened. After a minute, his grin widened, and his voice amplified into cheers. He jumped around in celebration, finally having the balls to asking one of the girls out.

As he celebrated, Tsuyu quietly walked through the halls, her blush still on her cheeks. She smiled. She was finally going out with him! But what would she wear? Would she wear more makeup, or go natural? Which perfume was she to spray? Her hair needed tending to. Should she even let the other girls know?

"I'd say you had a hell of a talk, huh?"

She screamed, her body going white by the sudden appearance of the hearing hero in training and the other girls.

Momo smiled warmly. "Congratulations on being the first one to score a date with Izuku. Where are you planning on going?" Yui and Jirou nodded.

Tsuyu tilted her head. "You mean, you're not mad, ribbit?"

Yui and Momo shrugged, while Jirou blushes in slight jealousy. "We'll get our chances to score a date with him, plus you've been through quite a lot. You deserve the first dibs." Yui and Jirou nodded.

Then out of nowhere, a teasing smile appeared on the creation girl's face. "Now, tell us the details of the talk, Tsu. We must know!"

"Um, I'd rather not, ribbit."

Jirou smirked. "We'll call Mina."

"Um...fine."

The girls squealed, grabbing the frog girl by the arms and rushing her to the girl's room. A cloud of dust was the only thing remaining in that hall.

Now, the halls were filled with silence.

Except for a cheer when a text came through, identifying the frog heroes's home address

"Alright, Kaminari, keep moving!"

"I'm tired."

"Don't care. I know you can do it!"

"I think that might be an oxymoronic sentence."

"Totally not what it is. You might be tired."

"That's what I said!"

Izuku laughed. "Well, you're doing great! One more lap to go!"

Kaminari and Izuku were at a race track near his apartment, the former looking ready to die while the latter looked fresh on his feet while he ran with the blond.

"How many laps did I do again?" Said blond pleaded.

"Four."

"God, it felt like it's been more. How long have we been out here?"

"Five hours."

The blond's eyes widened as he collapsed after completing his fifth lap. "And I only did four laps?"

The vernadette nodded as he checked his stopwatch. "Five now. Not terrible, but not great either. You have a lot of room to improve."

"Thanks for the encouragement." Kaminari grumbled.

Izuku clapped twice. "Alright! After the short break we'll move onto calisthenics."

The electric quirk user groaned. "What's the point of this again?"

"I'm trying to help you improve your body to help become a better hero."

"I thought I was being punished for robbing someone."

Izuku smirked. "That too. But that's coming later. I'm just warning you up for it."

Kaminari's eyes shot open, his mouth agape. "Warm-warmup?"

He received a nod.

"Fuck my life."

Izuku shook his head. "You shouldn't have committed that crime."

"I know, I know."

Kaminari paused before standing. "Hey, Midoriya. Quick question."

"What's up?"

He sighed. "Why are you intent on me? You could've just sent me to the police, told Aizawa. Something. Why me?"

Izuku nodded as he stretched. "Do you remember the training exercise you performed with Tsuyu Asui, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Hanta Sero at the USJ?"

"Yeah, so?"

"Did you know I was extremely impressed by your performance?"

Kaminari looked surprised. "By mine?"

"Mmhmm."

"Why?"

Izuku chuckled. "The other's quirks were rendered useless, including yours. The only one who could use theirs was Momo, but just barely. However, you found a way to go around the obstacle that was that zone. You utilized the strengths and weaknesses of each person, then used their talents to be the best in that situation." He paused, taking in the bashful look on the blond's face.

"It makes me wonder why your grades are lower in the class, considering how brilliant you really are."

Kaminari glanced at the vigilante. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Izuku's brows furrowed. "You wouldn't happen to be the same one who embarrassed himself on purpose in the class right?"

Kaminari did not answer.

"I do notice you trying to make a pink skinned girl laugh most of the time." He shook his head again at the deepening blush that scattered on the blond. "Kaminari, you wouldn't happen to keep your grades low just to impress her, would you?"

Kaminari scowled. "And what if I am?"

"She's seeing someone."

"Like who?"

"Eijiro Kirishima. Kaminari, my question is...why?"

Kaminari groaned. "Can we please get back to training?"

"Kaminari, I need to know why you're jeopardizing your future for a girl?"

He shot his head to the greenette. "Because I want to impress her, alright?! I want her to notice me, to go after me, to be with me, okay? It's not my fault she's seeing someone else...but it hurts that she doesn't see me that way!"

Izuku nodded in understanding. "Kaminari, I know how you feel, and it's okay."

"That's hard to believe, Mr. I have four girlfriends."

"You talk a lot of shit for someone with none."

Kaminari looked away, his pride obviously torn apart into shreds. "Yeah, well…" his voice faltered.

Izuku smirked. "That's what I thought. Now, back to training."

The blond groaned.

Izuku glanced at his watch. "We better hurry. I have a date tonight, and I can't be late." He raised his hand to stop the blond from speaking, signaling him to begin.

Tsuyu Asui was on cloud nine. She had a date with the guy of her dreams! She couldn't wait. Now, she had a mission.

The perfect outfit.

If she was to be honest, she didn't really like the options the other girls gave her. She appreciated the input, but she felt that she was the best one to decide what to wear.

After all, Izuku liked her for her, so her choice of style was included.

She groaned, shoving hanger after hanger filled with clothes aside, and collapsed on the bed. A muffled scream filled the room, an exasperated noise croaking every other second.

After a minute, she glanced back in the closet, and sighed. Maybe she could wear the miniskirt Jirou offered.

...Then again, that was definitely not her thing.

So she did the only logical thing anyone could think of.

She called her mom.

"This number could not be reached. Please leave a message after the beep."

Tsuyu sighed. Of course she forgot her mom had a hearing today. Scrolling through her contacts, she smiled when she saw just who she was looking for.

'She'll definitely be able to help.'

"Hello?"

"Hey, Ochako, ribbit."

"Hey Tsuyu, what's up?"

"I need help."

A chuckle flitted through. "I'm not a therapist, you know."

"Ochako! This is important!"

"Okay, okay. What's going on?"

"I-I have a date tonight and I don't know what to wear."

"...I'll be right over."

What surprised Tsuyu was the fact that the brunette was at her door in twenty minutes, her shirt soaked in sweat. Obviously the girl ran over here, and fast. Not bad considering her speed wasn't that fast. Luckily the frog girl had a few extra shirts. "Hey Tsuyu! Let's see what you're working with."

"You're soaked."

"Helping others comes at a price."

"You're not wearing that shirt in my room. I have some you can wear."

"Alright! Thanks a bunch!"

"Don't mention it, ribbit. Now, about the outfit…"

{Midoriya household}

"Where are you going tonight, daddy?" Eri asked while playing with her father's hair.

Izuku smiled. "I'm going on a date with Tsuyu. Her brother and sister are coming here to play with you!"

"She has a brother and sister?" Her eyes went wide. "Are they family too?"

He chuckled. "Not quite, Eri. But they can be really good friends!"

She smiled. "Okay daddy."

He glanced into the hall. "Kota! Go and shower! We're having company tonight!"

"Why?"

"Because I have an important thing going on!"

"Why?"

He groaned. He forgot children undergo this stage. "Because I said so!"

"That's not much of an answer, dad!"

"Just do it, please!"

"...fine."

He smiled. "Thank you!"

His smile disappeared when he remembered exactly what was going on tonight. It turned out, her parents wanted to meet him. After all, finding your eldest daughter having the hots for someone made them more than curious, so they volunteered to bring all three children, the youngest two for a play date. The parents would meet the date before the two even had a chance to go out.

Izuku knew Tsuyu was very embarrassed, but he played it off, telling her everything would be okay.

At least he hoped so.

He glanced at the clock. 6:00. 'Okay, so this means I have forty five minutes until they arrive. Tsuyu even said that her parents like to arrive early, as is their nature. So this means I have to have the house ready, the kids bathed and changed, and tea ready. Can't have hospitality without tea. But which tea should I start with? Orange oolong, or the gold imperial? Which would impress both of them? Maybe I should start with the gold imperial, or maybe I should make both? That would probably get them to lean in my corner. But what would her mom say when she sees I have two kids and I'm only a teenager? It's not like I can ask mine. But what if-'

"Someone's excited. Got a date planned?"

Izuku froze on the spot as the voice impeded into his mutter tyrade. He turned around to see Fuyumi, dressed in paint covered overalls. "Oh, hi Fuyumi. Back from work already?"

She smiled. "Mmhmm. Now, what are you fretting over this time? Maybe I can help."

He nodded. "Tsuyu and I are going on a date tonight, and I'm already meeting her parents while Eri and Kota play with Tsuyu's younger siblings. I have so much to do, but only…"

He glanced at the clock. 6:15.

"...Shit. Thirty minutes!"

Fuyumi placed a hand on his shoulder. "What needs to get done. You know you can ask for help." He nodded. "I need the kids bathed and dressed, the place tidied, and tea made. I can't decide which tea to make, so I wasted fifteen minutes deciding."

She grinned. "I'll take care of the kids and the tea. You focus on cleaning up. There's not much to clean but that doesn't mean it's nice and neat. Now go!" His eyes widened as she shoved him forward, as she was already walking up the stairs. "Kids! Are you ready yet! We only have twenty minutes until the guests arrive!"

He sighed in relief, already picking up some stuffed animals. "Thank god for her."

Meanwhile…

"Mom, dad. You don't have to do this." The voice of Tsuyu Asui whined as she buckled in her siblings. Her mother and father smiled warmly. Her father turned towards her, ignition starting up. "No daughter of mine will date someone without our approval. That's that." He turned and started driving.

Her mom turned now. "I can't wait to meet this gentleman that asked you onto a date! The way you described him makes him sound like a superb young man, and he has a job too? Goodness, I'm already giving approval!" Her parents chuckled as the eldest daughter rolled her eyes.

Her mom continued, staring ahead. "So why are Satsuki and Samidare coming? You said it was important.

Tsuyu put her head between her hands. "They're having a playdate with his kids." Her voice was quiet, but her parents heard all the same.

The car instantly stopped, her father eyeing her carefully. What did you say?"

Tsuyu stuttered, unable to concentrate. "T-they're on a-a play date with his kids?" She groaned internally as she knew what was coming.

Her father pulled into the parking spaces by their destination. "He has kids?"

"They're super sweet, ribbit! They are six years old, and one likes cars and the other like unicorns! They're also-"

"Tsuyu. I won't allow it." His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Ribbit!"

He shook his head. "I will not allow you to date someone in his late twenties, since his children are six years old. He's most likely a sexual predator."

"He's fifteen!"

He rolled his eyes. "Really, so I'm guessing he just adopted them at fifteen years old, right?"

"Yes!"

He paused. "I don't believe it."

She screams internally. "Hold on." She grabbed her phone, already dialing the date.

"Now see here, young lady, I will not tolerate such disrespect-"

"Hi Izu! Could you walk to my car, please, it's the red minivan out front. Yeah, okay, ribbit. See you in a minute." She hung up, looking at her father expectedly. "You'll see what I'm talking about."

The man sighed, a vein looking like it's about to pop. His wife stilled him by grabbing his hand. "Let's hear them out, sweetie. Anything is possible in our world of quirks. We're probably wrong, anyways. He sounds like a sweetheart if our Tsuyu sees something in him."

He grumbled. "Fine."

A few minutes later, a light tapping could be heard on the fathers side of the vehicle.

All looked to the drivers side, and Tsuyu beamed. She giggled.

"Who's that?" Her mother asked. "He looks young."

Tsuyu shook her head. "That's my date." He smiled and waved at Eri and Kota, who were placed on Izuku's shoulders.

Stepping out of the car, her mom bowed her head. "My name is Beru Asui. I'm Tsuyu's mother. The grumpy one is my husband, Ganma. You must be Izuku. It's so nice to meet you." She took notice of the girl on his shoulder. "And who's this? Your daughter?"

Izuku beamed. "Yes she is. Her name is Inko Eri Midoriya, and the little guy on my left is Kota Midoriya. Say hi you guys!"

Eri blushed and just waved, until she saw Tsuyu. That's when she gasped in excitement. "Oh! Tsu Tsu!" Izuku laughed as she set her onto the ground, his laughter increasing as he watched her jump up and down in excitement.

"Alright, Kota, you too-" he smirked when he followed a blushing Kota's line of sight into the back seat, where Tsuyu's younger siblings sat. Looking towards the mother, he smiled. "I'm assuming those two are Satsuki and Samidare, right? Tsuyu mentioned having some wonderful siblings. Your daughter is so amazing." He failed to notice the stunned expression on the mother's face as he rambled on.

The teen stopped his rambling when Tsuyu stepped out of the car, an embarrassed expression gracing her. His breath hitched, a deep blush spreading across his cheeks. Setting Kota down next to Eri, he walked up to his date, grabbing her hands.

"Ms. Asui, you look absolutely stunning tonight. Your sundress looks amazing on you." He gave a light kiss on her hand, giving a genuine smile as he held it.

Tsuyu was a stuttering mess. 'This is a complete 180 from how he usually is. He's always so blunt and surface level emotional unless one of us starts the conversation. Is he trying to impress them? No, don't be stupid, of course he is.' She now took the time to look into what he was wearing.

Izuku wore black dress pants, black dress shoes, a wine colored shirt, and a silver necklace that matched the watch that adorned his wrist. His hair was tied into a neat ponytail, and silver studs were placed on both his ears. To her, It was much nicer than her blue and yellow sundress that she wore. 'Maybe I'm underdressed. Although, his eyes haven't left me once.' "T-thanks, Izu, ribbit. You look great." She opened the car door. "You two, come on out, ribbit. Introduce yourselves at least."

The little boy and girl hopped out of the car, and upon seeing the green haired teen instantly crowded around their sister. She sighed, pulling them from her legs. "Just say hi, you two." It was then that she smiled at Kota, and followed his line of sight and blush.

He was looking at Satsuki.

She and Izuku glanced at the other, knowing smiles formed. Clearing her throat, she looked at her siblings. "The taller one is Samidare, he's eight, and the smaller one is Satsuki. She's six. Come on, you two, say hi."

"Hello."

"Tch."

Izuku was more than surprised at hearing the scoff from the boy. He grinned shortly after. 'A lot like Katsuki, although he seems pretty laid back. He doesn't look thrilled to be here.' He barely noticed his son walk up to the frog like boy. "Do you wanna play some video games?"

Samidare nodded vehemently, and the two were off. Eri walked to Satsuki, a grin on her face. "Do you want to play?" The girl nodded, and soon enough they went inside as well. Izuku smiled. "Looks like they've taken a shining to each other. I'm so glad."

Tsuyu giggled. "Kota looked like he took a shining to Satsuki at first too."

He nodded. "Well, he did have a tiny crush on you when you first met him. It's like how a child may crush on their teacher."

"That sounds correct."

"Ahem. Now that the children are occupied…" Ganma walked over to the vigilante, forcing him to take a step back. "Let's talk about you."

Izuku gulped. "Would you like to come in?"

Beru smacked her husband's shoulder. "Knock it off, dear. You're scaring him. He looks like a lovely young man." She smiled at Izuku. "If you would have us, we would love to be in your company."

Izuku sighed in relief. "It's my pleasure!"
