Sekimukai stumbled into the villain's lair. "You mother-"

Tendo waved a bandaged finger. "Ah ah ah, little Seki Seki. Bad language is a sign of weak verbal skills."

"You used your cursed quirk on me!" Sekimukai shouted. "If I had gotten too injured, I'd be in the madhouse right now!"

"Quit being so dramatic," Tendo rasped. "You're not crazy anymore, are you?"

Sekimukai scoffed. "That's not the point. I hurt Sho!"

"You what?" an angry voice growled behind Sekimukai.

The spiky haired boy turned around. "It was Tendo's quirk! I didn't want to, but-"

"Tendo's quirk feeds on the subconscious desires of the victim," the boy explained, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Deep in your brain, you wanted to make him bleed." He poked Sekimukai in the chest. "Now why would you hurt him if you didn't feel somewhere deep down that you wanted to?"

Sekimukai glanced frantically around. "I-it wasn't my fault-"

The boy hummed, cutting Sekimukai off. "It doesn't matter. You'll just have to prove yourself to me again. If you can't, then I'll just have to use your quirk against you." Sekimukai gulped. "Don't worry. Just don't disappoint me again."

"What you four did was unacceptable!" Uravity scolded. "What were you thinking?"

The four boys in question held their heads in shame. The three pro heroes allowed two days of recovery before reprimanding them, but that just left them to be tortured with their thoughts and expectations.

"Tsukishima, especially," Shoto added. "I expected more from you."

"I'm sorry," the blond said. "I take full responsibility for this incident."

"What was going through your guys's heads?" Deku wondered. He seemed curious rather than disappointed. "What compelled you four to fight a villain, letting him go, might I add, by yourselves? Why didn't you warn any of us?"

Tsukishima opened his mouth to explain, before being cut off by Yamaguchi. "It was my idea," the freckled boy said. "Tsukki went missing, and I wanted to look for him without telling anyone else. Hinata and Kageyama were dragged along with me."

Hinata shifted his wings uncomfortably. "It was my fault, actually. After hearing that Tsukishima went missing, I grabbed Yamaguchi's wrist and dragged him out before we could consult one of you."

Deku looked at Kageyama. "Are you going to blatantly lie, too? Or should we just get on with this?"

Kageyama shrugged. "I mean, I was there."

"Jeez," Tsukishima said, shaking his head. "You guys really don't need to stick up for me." He looked Shoto square in the eyes. "Aika said something about Akiteru's injury." Deku's eyes widened, and Shoto cocked an eyebrow. "She was apologizing about him...attempting suicide. I decided, after our patrol, to go to his apartment to prove that he didn't attempt."

"And?" Shoto waved his hand for him to continue.

"I found a bloodied knife on the bathroom sink and blood everywhere," Tsukishima reported. "There were signs of a struggle and no means of suicide. Which is why I found it suspicious that the doctors would say this was a suicide attempt." He paused, noticing the eyes on him. "Also, there was a hooded figure in his room, who ran out once I noticed they were there."

"And this 'hooded figure' was the villain you battled?" Uravity prompted.

Tsukishima nodded. "I assume so, yes. When I got to the alleyway, he told me his name was Sekimukai. He stabbed me and licked my blood, which somehow controlled my actions." Deku and Shoto looked at each other. "What?"

Deku looked at Hinata. "That was your friend's name, right? The one we passed the other day on patrol." Hinata nodded apologetically. "Did you know he had a quirk like that?"

Hinata shook his head. "No, of course not! I thought he was quirkless."

Deku muttered something to Shoto before continuing. "Go ahead, Tsukishima."

"That's when the others showed up," Tsukishima relayed.

Deku nodded at Shoto and Uravity. "So, Tsukishima," the number one hero said, "what you're telling us is that you decided to go after a villain on your own out of revenge, scared your friends so badly that they went after you, and ended up getting all of them injured?"

"Yes," Tsukishima confirmed. "Like I said, I take full responsibility."

Deku snorted. That snort turned into a full on burst of laughter. The teens all looked at each other confused. Even the other two pros seemed concerned.

"I'm sorry!" Deku said through laughs. "It's just so funny!"

"Funny?" Shoto wondered. "Izu, are you alright?"

Deku calmed himself down by clearing his throat a few times. "Shoto, don't you remember?" Shoto raised an eyebrow. "When we were in our first year, during our internships. With Iida?"

Shoto's face softened into realization. "Oh yeah." Then he looked embarrassed. "Oh, no."

The four teens looked to Uravity, who just shrugged her shoulders. "I think we all need an explanation on this one," she told the other pros.

Deku rubbed the back of his neck. "That's a story for another day."

"Come on!" Hinata encouraged him. "Please tell us!"

"Yeah, Deku," Uravity begged. "Please?"

Deku sighed, pulling up a chair. "Alright. But this doesn't leave the room, because legally, it didn't happen." The teens glanced at one another before putting their full attention on Deku.

The freckled man started the story off with explaining the "characters". There was Midoriya, who was Deku, Todoroki, who was Shoto, and Iida, who was Ingenium. Iida's brother, who was Ingenium at the time, was attacked by the Hero Killer: Stain, a villain whose quirk was when he ingested someone's blood, that someone was paralyzed for a time.

Iida had purposefully chosen a certain hero's agency for his internship so he could confront the hero killer. One night, during their internships, Todoroki was on patrol in the city that Iida was interning, and Midoriya was passing through. There was an issue with giant monsters called Nomu in the city, so the heroes were preoccupied.

That night was the night that the hero killer decided to attack another hero, and Iida stopped him. Midoriya figured out that Iida would try to attack Stain, so he went to go find him. When he did, he sent out his location, and Todoroki answered the call. They battled the hero killer for about ten minutes, and defeated him.

It turned out that since they didn't have their provisional licenses yet, they had illegally defeated Stain. Instead, the police let Endeavor, Todoroki's father, get all of the glory.

"And that's about it," Deku finished off.

"Little did I know that when I took you on as an intern, Tsukishima," Shoto added, "I raised the next generation of the Hand Crusher." Shoto seemed to be one hundred percent serious in that statement.

Tadashi snorted, while Tsukishima flushed.

"So we're not in trouble?" Hinata asked hopefully.

"Oh, no, you're definitely in trouble," Deku corrected, standing up. "You four violated the law. Did you think you'd get off without punishment?" The four boys paled. "Lucky for you, the police left the issue with us to deal with. We're in trouble for not watching you guys too, you know."

"We called Protector, and he decided it was best to give you all detention," Uravity explained. "I think it should be a little more than that, but he's your teacher, so he knows best."

"With all of that said and done," Shoto finished, "get well. All of you. We'll bring Recovery Man here tomorrow morning to heal your injuries." He glanced at Kageyama. "See you all later."

With that last statement, the pro heroes left. The four boys stared at each other in silence for a moment. Then they all let out a long and relieving sigh.

"We were almost dead for a second," Hinata breathed. "I thought Takeda would give us a worse punishment for sure."

"Just be glad he didn't," Kageyama said.

"Yeah," Yamaguchi squeaked. He looked at Tsukishima, who was staring straight ahead. "Tsukki? Are you alright?"

"I'm sorry," the blond boy muttered.

"What?" Hinata asked. "Why?"

"It was all my fault you guys got hurt," Tsukishima explained. "I chose to go out to find my brother's attacker. You guys only followed me because I didn't tell any of you about anything. I'm sorry."

"Tsukki-"

"Don't start a pity party about it," Kageyama reprimanded.

"What?" Tsukishima raised his head, a look of confusion on his face.

"So what, we got hurt? That's what happens to heroes. Don't feel sorry about yourself because we had to save your sorry butt."

Tsukishima seemed a little hurt, but then he nodded. "I guess you're right, Kageyama. I guess you're right."
