Surf Club - the Gym

"How's Tyler doing today?" Bianca asks, glancing back at him helping a client.

"He's desperate to make things right, and you know me." Heath smirks as she turns back to him. "I've had a lot of fun making things harder for him and he's willing to do it all without question."

"Heath, he's really trying to make things right, can't you give him a chance?" Bianca asks.

"He's had too many, plus there's nothing much to do around here right now." Heath shrugs. "Brax found it funny, and don't even get me started on what Casey said. I'm the brother that's being the nicest to him right now and he appreciates it."

"What about Lucas and Kyle?" Bianca asks.

"They're not on shift until this afternoon, so went into Yabbie Creek." Heath says. "Maybe we'll have to see if they come in before or during their shift but it's highly unlikely. Lucas is still upset with Tyler and Kyle is more interested in keeping Lucas happy. They've come far together since they met, it's good for them."

"Well can you please be nice to Tyler? I think it would mean a lot if someone was on his side." Bianca says, hoping to get through to him.

"What did he say to you?" Heath asks, having thought they spoke to each other when he was finishing his boot camp up.

"He had a bit of a… how do I put it." Bianca says, not wanting to make things worse. "He's really upset about his actions and while I was talking to him, he booked himself in for anger management sessions to help control his outbursts and also to try and release some of his alpha side so he can be one of you properly. Please just give him this chance to change, like I did with you when we first met."

"Fine, but I don't like you using that against me when that was a tough time for me to go through." Heath mutters.

"I'm sorry, you just know what he's going through. You wanted someone to be on your side so you could stay with your brothers, Tyler wants the same. I just thought you could talk to him. If you do and it doesn't go well, then at least you can say you've tried." Bianca says, slightly pleading eyes as she stares at him. "You'd also make me really happy and I may have something you'll really love in return for it."

"Are you trying to seduce me?" Heath smirks.

"Help Tyler turn his life around and you'll find out." Bianca smirks before walking out.

Surf Club - Angelo's

"Can we talk about my hours now?" Kyle asks. "I think me coming in for my shift a bit early deserves the talk that you promised after making Lucas co-manager."

"Fine, let's go to the office. Lucas, cover me and could you sign for the liquor delivery when it comes?" Brax asks.

"But you're here so they'll want yours." Lucas frowns.

"You're a manager, so your signature will be accepted." Brax says before shoving Kyle towards the office.

"No need to be like that." Kyle says, walking over to the office chair as Brax leans against the wall. "Have I annoyed you by asking or something?" He asks.

"No, I know I said you can have a shorter work week and I didn't stick to it. It's nothing you've done, it's more of what I'm doing." Brax says.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Kyle asks.

"I've been trying to see how you cope under pressure and how you deal with new situations. I've been watching you for a while as a manager to see how you do certain things and being co-manager was one of them. I know I promised you more time off and I'll give you it, you deserve it." Brax says.

"I don't get what that has to do with me not having time off?" Kyle frowns. "Why have you been watching me work and especially with Lucas?"

"I want you to take over this place one day." Brax says. "I'm not going to be able to run this place forever and it's a family business. I think you'd do really well being the owner, and that means you'd be able to have all the time off in the world." He smirks.

"You want me to take over one day?" Kyle asks. "As in me over Heath or Casey?"

"They're not managers here and they've got the gym. When it happens, which won't be for years yet, you could ask Lucas to help you. You two work great together and you understand each other easily." Brax says. "It would always be your choice whether you decided to carry on running this place, or you could sell it, I wouldn't care either way. Just thought I'd decide early on so I'd be sure it was what this place needed. I can't lie, you've boosted the revenue of this place heaps with all these ideas you keep coming up with. The place is definitely a lot busier than I was before you became manager."

"Well I'd be happy to take over one day." Kyle smiles. "And what can I say, they're not just here for the view." He smirks as he stands up.

"Yeah, I noticed a lot of girls flirt with Lucas, apart from they're not drunk. Can't say much for the ones that flirt with you." Brax smirks.

"They're drunk because they think it will give them a better chance at getting with me but I am in a very happy relationship despite what you think." Kyle says.

"What happened to you dropping mentioning the differences between me and Emily?" Brax asks.

"I just think you said it to make us happy." Kyle says, noticing Brax's face. "But I will drop it because there's nothing you can do or say that is going to make me break up with her." He grins.

"Have you seen Heath today?" Brax asks, having briefly seen him on his break with Tyler, who got them both a table instead.

"Nope but me and Lucas saw him down on the beach on our way in. They were doing a boot camp together and you'd think they were best friends from the amount they were laughing. I don't know what's changed but they were getting on so well." Kyle says. "Lucas didn't know what was going on but he said Tyler looked different and seemed genuine with Heath. Do you know what that's about?"

"Nope, I haven't spoken to Tyler since our disagreement in the diner the other day." Brax says. "If he tries worming his way back in with me, it won't work. He's already made it clear he wants you and Lucas to move away with him."

"Well you don't have to worry about me, I'm staying here." Kyle says. "I'm pretty sure Lucas will as well, he's always telling me how much he loves it here."

"Well that's good to know, I don't even want to think about what he'd make you do without us there to stop him." Brax says.

"You're making me sound like a pushover." Kyle raises an eyebrow.

"I'm not saying that exactly, but who vandalised that barn after Casey asked you to?" Brax asks.

"I was extremely drunk and Casey didn't ask me to, he started it first." Kyle says. "If you answered your phone to pick us up, maybe it wouldn't have happened."

"I remember that voicemail and there wasn't much to make out. I heard you asking for a car and pizza, nothing else because you forget you were calling me and started talking to Casey, who didn't make much sense either." Brax says. "That's why one of you has to be sober on a night out now, which I trust Lucas more just because he can handle his drink."

"I can handle my drink, I just push myself too far sometimes." Kyle says as he stands up. "Now I'm getting back to work while you decide when you're going to start giving me more time off." He says, walking out to see if it had picked up with more tourists yet.

"Kyle." Lucas says as he walks out into the main room, gesturing to him to go into the storeroom.

"What's wrong?" Kyle asks, frowning as Lucas shuts the storeroom door on them. "Are you going to threaten me or something, cause I genuinely did forget my wallet."

"No, I don't care about that, you can pay next time. Tyler and Heath have just come in for after shift drinks and they're looking to order food as well." Lucas says, clearly confused.

"Did you ask what was going on?" Kyle asks, thinking it would have been the easiest way to find out what was going on.

"No, they were more interested in whatever they were talking about and I was basically blanked by Tyler. Heath said hello but that was about it." Lucas says.

"Something is definitely going on." Kyle mutters, going to open the door back up to see Brax now stood at the bar. "Have you seen what's going on with Heath?" He asks.

"Yeah, I'm going back to the office to get some work done, you can deal with them." Brax says before walking back out of sight.
