Chapter 54: Legosi VS Riz! The Fated Conclusion!
BACKGROUND MUSIC: BINDING OF ISAAC REPENTANCE REVELATIONS 13:1
The gray wolf scanned the room, horrified by what he was seeing. Tao moaning on the ground clutching his bleeding stump… Els with one of her horns broken in half… Haru and his pack mates all on the ground unconscious, and Alex's head lying in a puddle of blood. "Riz! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Legosi yelled.
"Your friend Alex tried to arrest me. And he spoke such blasphemous, horrible and slanderous lies about me and Tem… so I had to punish him. I wanted to make an example out of him, but unfortunately, his friends kept getting in my way. I assume you're going to interfere as well?" Riz growled.
Legosi's eyes were blazing disks of anger. "I'm going to do much worse than that! I'll… I'll!" Legosi yelled out, so furious that he couldn't finish his sentence.
Riz smirked in response. "You're going to what, Legosi? Kill me?" The bear laughed, spitting in Legosi's face.
Legosi bared his fangs at the bear in response. "WHEN I'M THROUGH WITH YOU, YOU'RE GOING TO WISH YOU WERE DEAD!" The canine screamed.
"AHAHAHAHAHA! You think you can stand up to me now! Last time, I wiped the floor with you! How is this going to be any different than before?" Riz cackled, finding the idea of Legosi trying to fight him again hysterical.
Legosi darkly grinned in response, and tore off his long sleeved shirt. His stomach and arms glittered brightly in the sunlight, blinding Riz for a few moments. A dark cloud began to block out the sunlight, and the glitter died down, revealing that Legosi's arms and stomach were covered in emerald green scales. "Haha! This is awesome! I didn't think you were one of those hybrid freaks, but looks like you kept it well hidden! This is going to be fun! I've never eaten a hybrid before!" Riz gleefully giggled.
"You're not going to eat anyone, you monster! I'm not going to let you hurt anyone else, ever again!" Legosi yelled as he suddenly sprinted forwards and decked Riz in the jaw.
Riz roared and retaliated with a heavy swing, but Legosi quickly ducked underneath the attack and shoved Riz in the stomach. Seizing the opportunity, Legosi leapt into the air and jumped onto Riz's stomach, causing the bear to groan in pain as he felt the heavy weight of his adversary pressing down on his stomach. Growling in irritation, Riz's leg sprang upwards and dug its claws into Legosi's leg, causing the wolf to stumble and fall off of Riz.
Riz pushed himself off of the ground and got back on his feet, but by then Legosi was out of reach again. The gray wolf struck again, lunging forwards and wrapping his paws tightly around Riz's paw as it pulled backwards and balled up into a fist. "Let go!" Riz snarled as he used his free paw to punch Legosi in the stomach, hitting Legosi in the scales. However, the punch seemed to harmlessly bounce off of his scales, and barely inflicted any pain on Legosi.
Riz was a little panicked, and he punched Legosi over and over again in the stomach in hopes of making the wolf loosen his grip on his paw. It was starting to become extremely painful, and Riz let out an astonished and horrified cry as he felt and heard the sickening crunch of bones. Legosi had broken his left paw's bones! "MY PAW! YOU BROKE MY PAW!" Riz screamed in agony as Legosi let go of the now mangled and useless appendage.
"That was for my pack mates! You think that's the only thing I'm going to break?! NO! We're just getting started!" Legosi snarled as he slammed his fist into the broken paw, shattering the bones inside of it beyond the point of repair. Not even the most skilled surgeon would be able to give Riz the ability to move his left paw again. While Riz was still reeling from the pain of his destroyed hand, Legosi slammed his butt down on Riz's right foot, the full weight of the wolf quickly fracturing the bones down there.
"AAAAGH! MY FOOT!" Riz yelled out as he felt pain surge through him every time he tried to move around. This made things a lot more difficult for him to move around with. The adrenaline boost he had gained from eating Tao's arm was quickly subsiding, and he wouldn't be able to keep fighting for much longer.
Legosi quickly darted behind Riz and shoved him hard, causing the big brown bear to topple over and fall flat on his stomach. Jumping into the air, Legosi landed on Riz, essentially pinning the bear underneath him. Raising one foot, Legosi slammed it down on Riz's remaining paw, tearing the bones and splintering them.
"Aaaagh! S-stop, Legosi! You've made your point! I'm powerless now, I can't punch you, and you're too heavy for me to lift off of me with my ruined hands…" Riz whimpered as he squirmed around helplessly on the ground. Legosi's eyes narrowed, and he bent his head over so that he could look Riz directly in the eyes.
What Riz saw truly shook him to his very core. There were no signs of the kind and friendly wolf that he and Tem knew from drama club. There was only hate and rage within Legosi's gaze, and pure malicious intent. "F-fine! Kill me and get this over with, please…" Riz whimpered in fear.
Legosi's expression saddened, and Riz could swear there was a bit of regret in the massive canine's eyes. "I'm not going to kill you, Riz. That would make me even worse than you. I'd be killing you out of revenge, not out of hunger and lust like you did with Tem. But I can't let you get away with hurting the animals that I love. I'm making sure that you will never hurt ANYONE, EVER AGAIN!" Legosi growled as he then sat on Riz's foot paw, causing Riz to cry out in pain as he felt his last paw get crushed and rendered utterly useless.
Legosi then stood up and got off of Riz, walking over and squatting down to Riz's eye level. "Gouhin, the doctor of the black market, taught me some things as well. Such as how to make sure that hungry monsters like you never even dream of eating meat," Legosi darkly said as he pried open Riz's muzzle forcefully, reaching a paw in and pulling on one of Riz's fangs. "MMMPH! MMPH MMPH!" Riz grunted as he felt Legosi pulling his fang, and he started sobbing when he felt the tooth forcibly detach from his jaw.
Quickly, Legosi repeated this another three times, one additional time for each remaining fang. Riz's mouth was a bloody mess, and he was in so much pain that he felt he would black out at any second. "Have fun in prison," Legosi grunted as he wiped his bloody paws on the ground, careful not to get any of Riz's blood on his Green Ranger costume.
Judy and several other cops arrived after a few more minutes. Lem handcuffed Riz and read him his rights before he was hauled away, several officers having to lift him onto a stretcher due to his broken hands and legs. A tap on Legosi's shoulder caused him to turn and see Alex grinning at him. "You did a good job, kid," Alex proudly said. Everyone else was awake too, except for Tao, who had been taken by Kibi to the infirmary.
An announcement soon came over the intercoms, with Principal Gon telling everyone that school was cancelled for the day. "What do you say we blow this popsicle stand and go have some lunch, everyone? You all deserve it. A celebratory feast for the Beastar Crusaders, since you basically saved my life," Alex offered. "YEAH!" Everyone cheered excitedly.
