It had been nearly a week since Heath decided to give Tyler a chance and he'd really been helping him more than expected. Tyler had also spoken to Lucas and Kyle to explain what was happening in his life now, slowly starting to make things right with them. He knew he couldn't rush it in case it backfired as he was trying his best to be a good person now. He just knew Casey and Brax would be the hardest brothers to try and apologise to.

Summer Bay Beach

"What about we all go surfing?" Tyler suggests. "You could sweet talk them into coming for me."

"Nope, I already sweet talked the triplets into talking to you, you're on your own with Brax and Casey." Heath says.

"Can you at least give me some advice on how to talk them around?" Tyler asks.

"Don't make them even angrier at you than they already are. Oh and I wouldn't ask anyone else to try and sweet talk them into listening to you because that will make them angry as well. It has to come from you." Heath says.

"Great, so basically you don't have any advice for me apart from don't get myself killed by my half brothers." Tyler rolls his eyes.

"Don't call them your half brothers and you might get a little further in bringing them around to your new personality." Heath says.

"But you are my half brothers." Tyler frowns.

"Brax sees Kyle and Lucas as full brothers, we all do." Heath firmly says. "It's just how things have been and it doesn't get questioned, got it?"

"Okay, I'll make sure to remember that." Tyler nods. "So when would be the best time to approach them to get this conversation going?"

"Now that is something you have to work out yourself. I'm not getting involved even though they're suspicious of what we've been up to. Maybe if you explained things and answered any questions they may have, they may be less cold towards me." Heath says.

"I'm getting a hint that you want me to go and do it now, so that's what I'm going to do." Tyler says, walking up towards the Surf Club to find them as Heath's clients arrive for his boot camp.

The Pier Diner

"Hi." Tyler lightly smiles as he walks over to Brax and Casey's table. "Ricky said you'd be here."

"Well now we're going." Casey says, about to stand up when Tyler carries on.

"Can you please wait a minute?" He asks. "There's some things I want to say and I want to start with saying I'm sorry for everything I've put you through with my behaviour."

"Are we meant to care?" Casey scoffs.

"I'm kind of new to having a family like yours, it was always just me and Lucas because mum could never be bothered. I'm not used to other people being the big brother and I guess I didn't take it well that Lucas was getting on better with you guys than he's ever been with me. It was hard to see and I took it out on the wrong people, the people that were trying to give me a chance." Tyler says, feeling like he would chicken out if he didn't say it now. "I've been in counselling sessions for about a week now, it's helping with some issues I had from my childhood and I've got anger management sessions as well. I already feel a lot better and I'm trying to rebuild badly burnt bridges. I know it's going to take time and I'm willing to wait if you're not ready to give me another chance. I just wanted to… I don't know." He says, feeling awkward now.

"It's going to take a lot more than that, but it's a start." Brax says, feeling like he was talking to a different Tyler than the aggressive one they had gotten to know. "But you stay in these counselling sessions until you've been signed off from them. This aggressive side you have has to go."

"I know, I want it to go. It's always gotten me into trouble and I'm trying hard to change that now." Tyler says, glancing at Casey, who was staying quiet. "I was going into Yabbie Creek with Lucas and Kyle tonight if you wanted to come for some drinks with us? It's on me." He says.

"I won't turn down free booze, but don't think anything is going to change this fast." Casey says, not bothering to look at him.

"Right, okay." Tyler lightly nods. "I'll leave you to it then." He says, turning to the door.

"Tyler." Brax stops him.

"Yep?" Tyler asks.

"Don't mess this up again, you've hurt those boys enough without it happening again. You need to start thinking about them before acting first, thinking later. I won't be accepting you threatening me again, you got lucky last time." Brax firmly says, needing to get him to understand.

"I know, I really am trying to turn my life around. I can't do it by myself, I struggled when I did. Heath has really helped me through my counselling sessions and how to make things right with people. Bianca was the one who convinced him but he was willing to help. I need my brothers in my life, and now you guys are my brothers as well, I can't ignore that. I'd really appreciate it if we could one day be on good terms like you are with Lucas." Tyler mutters, regretting how he acted over the weeks he was here.

"Lucas has never called a girl horrible names because he was hiding his feelings for her and found out she was dating someone else. He's also never threatened us or made it clear he didn't want us half brothers around. That's the difference between you and Lucas, he's a great guy who thinks about other people's feelings and apologises about a million times when he thinks he's upset them. You just don't care." Casey says.

"I made bad choices, I get that now. I-" Tyler stops himself, briefly glancing down. "I'm going to go, see you around." He says before rushing out.

"He's trying." Brax says.

"You've changed your tune." Casey scoffs. "You haven't stopped thinking of ways to get him out of the Bay."

"That was before I knew he's attending counselling and anger management to help change his life around. He doesn't deserve it, but imagine how happy this will make the boys." Brax says. "If I have to see Lucas walking around with that sad look any longer… Just do this for him because you know how much it would make him happy to have us all as one family after so long of basically not having anyone."

"He was fine before Tyler showed up again." Casey comments.

"He made out he was fine but he wasn't. They're triplets, Casey. They've got this bond that we'll never be able to understand. Just look at how quick Kyle was able to get to know Lucas compared to when he was getting to know us, they need Tyler whether we like it or not. I'm not having them move away just because you want to make life hard for Tyler. We can't think about ourselves right now." Brax says.

"You've changed your attitude. You hate him and you were happy to kick him out the Bay before Heath got involved."

"Case, work with me here. I don't want to give him another chance anymore than you do but we're not the only ones in this family." Brax says, knowing he'd be the one to talk Casey around out of all of them. "I'm done with there being arguments all the time in this family. It's not just affecting us as brothers, Ricky's getting tired of them as well, she's just good at hiding it. I'm not risking my relationship falling apart because there's no control in this family, so suck it up and get on with Tyler."

"You said you and Ricky were fine, she seems happy about most of the wedding things being planned." Casey frowns.

"We haven't actually planned anything, there's been some questions over whether it's right for us. Just help me out, Case, cause I don't know what else to do here." Brax sighs.

"I won't be the reason you and Ricky break up, so fine, I'll try my best with Tyler." Casey says, not realising his brother was going through a tough time in his relationship. "Is that why you've both been distant lately?"

"Yeah, she's needed time out from this family. It's going to be a permanent break if we can't work things out." Brax says. "But don't worry about us, she'll come around once things have calmed down."

"Okay." Casey nods. "Anyway, I better get to work soon, I'll pop into Angelo's to talk to Kyle and Lucas." He says as they both stand up to leave.

"Lucas is on the floor, I've got Kyle out on some errands for me. He should be back soon." Brax says as he glances at his watch.

"Okay." Casey nods.
