Oliver and Sara were now home at their apartment with Erica, trying to get her used to her new surroundings. She was starting to sleep well at night and that was good for Sara so that she was able to get some rest as well. Oliver was pulling double duty, trying to be a vigilante and a good father at the same time. He had taken off a few weeks from being the Green Arrow so that he could be home and give Sara a rest. Now he was back to the vigilante life as well.
"So, anything new on the streets?" Sara asked.
"Diaz finally got out on his technicality. We know where he is, but he seems to be very elusive." Oliver said.
"Don't let him stay out for too long. He is too dangerous for that." Sara said.
"So, what did he do to the team in the future?" Oliver asked.
"He found out who you were and exposed you. Your last two years everyone knew who you were." Sara said.
"Yeah, that couldn't have been good. So, is there anything else that I need to know?" Oliver asked.
"Just make sure that he doesn't get too powerful because then he will be able to take over the city like last time because he had people on the take everywhere." Sara said.
"So, he was able to corrupt the city that badly?" Oliver asked.
"No, it was already corrupt because of the people on the list still being out there. That is something that will have to be worked on as well." Sara said.
"Yeah, I know there are still people on the list, but through the years we have taken a lot of those people off of the streets." Oliver said.
"Yeah, we have done better with that in this new timeline then in the old one." Sara said.
"Well, that is good. I am going to head to the bunker and see if they need anything tonight." Oliver said and Sara nodded as he left.
When Oliver got to the bunker, he saw that the team was getting ready to go out in the field. "What do y'all have going on tonight?" Oliver asked.
"We found a warehouse where Diaz is selling drugs and we are going to burn it all down." Laurel said.
"That sounds good. Do you mind if I join you? I want this man out of our hair as soon as possible." Oliver said.
"That's fine with us. We could always use the best of us back out there with us." Laurel said.
"Don't sell yourself short Laurel. You have been doing great as the leader while Sara and I have been gone." Oliver said.
"Thanks. Now let's go and take this drug operation out so that we can maybe end this guy soon." Laurel said and the team nodded as they left to find their warehouse.
When the team got to the warehouse, they scouted the place out and saw where all of the guards were and also where all of the drugs were being made and stored. Oliver gave the orders of what everyone was to do and then they all went to do their jobs. When they entered the warehouse Roy, Thea and Dinah started taking the guards out while Laurel and Emiko were going around placing charges so that they could blow up all of the drugs. Oliver was on his own trying to see if Diaz was in this warehouse. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be that lucky tonight.
Once everything was done and they knew that no one was still in the warehouse, Oliver pressed the button on the detonator and the building blew up destroying the drugs and any equipment that was there to make anymore drugs. The team then returned to the bunker to see if Barbara had anything else for them.
"Anything else you have for us tonight Barbara?" Oliver asked.
"Not as of right now. I know that Diaz used to be a member of the gang known as the scorpions. I am keeping an eye on them to make sure that he isn't going back to work for them, or maybe even trying to lead them now." Barbara said.
"That is a good idea. Well, I am going to head home and give Sara a break. If you need me let me know. I will get back as soon as I can" Oliver said.
"Yeah, that's not going to happen. We won't disturb you unless we really need you and we don't have a choice." Thea said.
"Don't do something stupid just because you want to give me a break. Soon Sara will be back as well. We need to learn how to multitask. So, if you need me make sure that you call." Oliver said and the team nodded and then he left.
Once he got home, Sara was waiting for him. "So, what did you do tonight?" Sara asked.
"We took out Diaz's drug supply. That will hurt him a lot. It was one of his big money makers." Oliver said.
"That it will. So, I was thinking, I am already working out to get back into shape, I think I will be ready to get back in the field in a month or so." Sara said.
"Babe, I know you want to get back in the field as soon as possible, but don't stress yourself and get back out there to soon. That will not be good for you." Oliver said.
"I know. I won't do it if I don't feel it is right, but I think I am feeling up to it." Sara said.
"Well, when it comes that time, I will be happy to have you back out there with us. What will we do with Erica though?" Oliver asked.
"I was thinking that we could leave her with Barbara and Tommy. Barbara is good with babies and Tommy will be ok with her as well. Did I tell you that he wants one of his own?" Sara asked.
"No, you didn't, and it surprises me a little that he does. I mean in know he has settled down since getting with Laurel, but that does surprise me still." Oliver said.
"I think he will be a great father. Let's go to sleep. Erica will be waking us up soon anyways wanting something to eat." Sara said and they both went to go to bed.
