Chapter 55 (Rookie All-Star Match)

The night before, the world of wrestling lost its breath for a minute. During her latest match, Misaki Toyoda had slipped, fallen, and broken her leg. The doctors say she won't be able to compete against her mentor, Jackal Tojo. In order to save Berserk, she promised to find a substitute opponent at the Rookie All-Star Match later that night.

But first, Jackal had to keep a promise to an old friend of hers. She met up with Sayuri Rogue at an outdoor diner and chatted with her.

"So I hear you're picking out a new opponent from the Rookie All-Star Match." Sayuri said. "I suppose you didn't consider me."

"I did." Jackal said. "But I figured that since my scheduled match is the night before your PPV, I figured you'd be too busy."

"Fair enough. Still, it would be nice to have another match."

"And another. And another. Seriously, no matter how many times we faced each other, the fans never get any tired of it."

"Well, neither do I." Sayuri stated. "I've never gotten tired of you ever since you joined Shangri-La. When we first met, you were the overconfident, stuck up gal who cared more about how she looked than how she was in the ring. But after Berserk, you seemed to have literally bonded with the sport. What happened?"

Jackal gave a soft smile before answering. "I guess… It was responsibility. After taking in three different students, I realized they were my responsibility. They needed a teacher to look up to, so I began to better myself for them. And when they stumbled, I had to do do whatever I could to help them, even if it was rough. You should have seen how rough it was for Misaki during that long sparring session to get her out of her losing streak. Still, being a fully-developed wrestler in charge of three promising students really changed me."

"That's quite a story, Jacky." Sayuri said. "Still a little ticked that you didn't ask me to be your opponent, though. I mean, sure, I'm going to be busy, but it'd be nice to be asked."

Jackal chuckled. "Well, how about this? I can join you in your skybox during Supernova. That sound fair?"

"…It's a start." Sayuri accepted with a smile.

*Rookie All-Star Match; Charlie vs Penny*

The following night, the rookie wrestlers from different federations have brought their A-game in their respective matches. Kurea from Berserk gave it her all, but she was ultimately flattened by Yoshiko from Stardom. Subaru Fujino locked Sakura Hagiwara in a figure-four leglock, but after Sakura hit her with her newly patented Sakura Special, the former idol won her match.

Up next was the semifinal match before the main event. Charlie Hart put on her wrestling outfit while still contemplating her upcoming match against her relative, Natalya, at Supernova. Still, she had to keep her head in the game, but she was utterly surprised to see her opponent. Imagine her shock in finding a clown girl in the corner across the ring. Penny Twist stretched her legs while giving a seductive glare at Charlie.

"What the hell is this?" Charlie asked. "Is that my opponent? Is she from a circus or something?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, now, we're on the semifinal match of the night! The Hitgirl, Charlie Hart, from Xtrema will be going head to head with Penny Twist from the rising organization, Hardkor!"

"Hardkor?" Charlie asked. "Never heard of it."

"Of course, you haven't, cutie." Penny said. "We're just one good show away from being recognized as an official league. I just need to put on a good show for them, and since I'm facing you, I'm going to enjoy what I display."

Charlie took a step back feeling cautious about her opponent, but she couldn't turn back now. The whole world was watching. Even Jackal Tojo was observing from her chair above with a glass of wine in her hand. Charlie gulped, turned to her opponent, and answered.

"We'll see about that!"

DING-DING!

Charlie and Penny circled around each other. Charlie took the initiative by going to grab Penny, who stopped her with a test of strength. They both pushed against each other with all their strength… until Penny pecked a kiss on Charlie's lips. The Hitgirl jumped back and spat through her lips while the crowd gasped in surprise.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Charlie asked loudly.

"What?" Penny asked. "You were just right there. What was I supposed to do?"

"You might be the sickest pervert I have ever met." Charlie growled.

"Hey, I take offense to that! What do you mean 'might be'?"

Charlie charged forward and speared Penny right to the mat. She then picked her up in a guillotine hold before suplexing her. She then hit her with a German suplex before keeping her shoulders down.

1… 2…

Penny thrusted herself forward landing right on top of Charlie's chest.

"PINK BELLY!" Penny shouted right as she slapped her hands repeatedly on Charlie's stomach one after another.

Charlie, through the stings, managed to power out and throw Penny off of her. Charlie stood back up, but Penny rushed behind her and grabbed onto her boobs.

"STOP GROPING ME!" Charlie shouted.

"This isn't a grope! This is called a Boob-plex!"

Penny thrusted herself backward throwing Charlie back while hanging onto her boobs. Penny then got back up and pinned Charlie down.

1… 2…

Charlie kicked out clearly frustrated. She kicked Penny down onto the mat before getting back up. As Penny was about to stand as well, Charlie jumped and stomped her foot on her back keeping her down. She then turned Penny over and locked her legs ready for her finishing move.

"It's time to end this before you do something else!" Charlie growled as she turned Penny back to her feet and locked in the sharpshooter. Penny yelled in pain as she felt her back being bent extremely hard.

"Do you give up?" asked the referee.

"NO WAY, JOSE!" Penny shouted.

Charlie growled getting more frustrated as she bent harder. She kept the hold on for a few minutes getting harder and harder, but Penny never once gave up. Charlie thought she had to give one last pull, and she did. But what's when…

SNAP!

The breaking sound echoed through the arena. Charlie, who was suddenly worried let go and turned to hear Penny yelling while the referee checked on her.

"MOTHER OF ALL THINGS BUTTERMILK!" Penny screamed holding onto her legs which were bent in a unique way. The entire crowd either gasped loudly or stayed silent in surprise. Even Jackal jumped out of her seat at the sight of it.

"I… I'm sorry." Charlie gasped feeling guilty. "I didn't mean…"

"I'm going to call the match!" the referee said about to stand up, but that was when Penny grabbed her wrist.

"Don't you dare! This match is still going! This is nothing!"

"Nothing?" the referee asked. "Your hips have been dislocated! How can…"

Penny didn't give her a chance to continue on. Instead, she slowly rose back up to her feet much to everyone's surprise. Penny then dropped backwards buttfirst right onto the mat. She winced in pain as she did it again and one more time until…

SNAP!

"SWEET FLAG DAY IN NEPAL!" Penny exclaimed loudly right before she kipped up back to her feet amazing the crowd.

"That's impossible!" Charlie gasped. "How is that possible?"

"Are you okay?" the referee asked.

"Yeah, I've got amazing joints." Penny said. "And as far as I'm concerned, we're still wrestling."

"Wait, wha…"

Before Charlie could go on, Penny charged forward and slapped on her right boob. Charlie gasped turning around, which gave Penny the chance to grab her by the shoulders and slam her down on the mat. She then skipped her feet landing right on top of the Hitgirl. She continued onto the nearest corner and jumped on top. She kissed to the crowd (mostly the ladies) and turned to Charlie who was still on the mat. Penny leaped herself off and splashed right on top of the Hitgirl. She kept herself right on top of her with her boobs pressing on Charlie's face while the referee counted.

1… 2…

Charlie kicked out. She was still in disbelief over what almost happened, but she still had a little fight left. Although, that all went away as soon as Penny unleashed her finishing move, the Punchline.

First, Penny grabbed Charlie's head and locked in a headlock. She held her so tightly, that Charlie's face was being mashed to Penny's boobs.

"Can't stay away from them, can't you, sexy?" Penny asked. "Just wait. The fun's just beginning."

She then rubbed her fist on top of Charlie's hair making her groan in annoyance. But what made it the worst was when Penny stuck her finger into her mouth and pulled it out with it covered with saliva. She then stuck her finger into Charlie's ear making her scream and break out of the headlock. She held onto her ear clearly disgusted at what just happened. That's when Penny prepared for the last step of her maneuver. As soon as Charlie turned around, Penny struck hard with a serious right cross knocking the Hitgirl to the ground. After that, Penny landed right on top of Charlie.

1… 2… 3!

DING-DING!

"WHOA! What did we just witness, folks? One thing's for sure, this Penny Twist is no one's fool! She managed to walk off breaking her own bones and caught the Hitgirl by surprise with that!"

While Penny jumped off Charlie and blew a kiss at her, one of her bosses, Jessica Jaclyn, jumped right into the ring with a microphone in hand.

"You like what you see, folks? Well, rest assured, this isn't all we've got! Penny Twist here is a unique girl, but at Hardkor, we strive on our wrestlers breaking past their physical limits! Relocating broken bones is nothing compared to what we have in store! And with your support, we can make a strong foundation for women wrestlers who want to be stronger and entertain you however they can, no matter what! If you wish to see more, then give me a 'hell, yeah'!"

"HELL, YEAH!" a lot of the crowd shouted much to the surprise of the rest.

Jessica gave one last nod while leaving the ring with Penny by her side. Charlie rolled out too making room for the main event match featuring Chinatsu Suzumoto and someone from Miyabi. Jackal sat back down in her seat contemplating what she just saw.

"Hardkor, huh? Guess that's something to look out for."

Once they were alone, Jessica turned to the clown. "Did you apply enough pressure on the hold yourself to break your own hips?"

"Well, you and Yami said to show the crowd what Hardkor's all about and excite them. It's just as Joker Lady taught me." Penny said. "Besides, it really got into the Hot Girl's head, didn't it?"

"You mean the Hitgirl."

"I know what I said." Penny smiled.

Jessica chuckled. "Sounds like we made the right choice in sending you. Guess I owe Yami five bucks."

*Xtrema Shorts*

Chibi Monica Everly appeared to face the crowd with her latest broadcast. Right next to her is the Russian MMA fighter, Liza Surkova, in Chibi form.

"Welcome to Xtrema Shorts! I'm Monica Everly, and that was an insane match earlier, am I right? Not sure if that's realistic or not, but Epiclot214 wanted it to be hardcore, pun absolutely intended. Also, apologies to Awesome ax10 for what happened to Charlie. We do hope it's okay with what we did to her. Anyway, here for our Q&A interview, we have Xtrema's MMA star, Liza Surkova!"

"Hello." Chibi Liza growled before taking a sip of vodka from a glass bottle.

"Ms. Surkova, this is a professional interview." Chibi Monica said. "Must you drink?"

"Is that one of the questions or are you wasting time?" Chibi Liza asked. When the bottle was empty, she squeezed it tightly until it shattered to bits in her hand quickly.

"Right. Apologies." Chibi Monica said not wanting to get hurt. "Now, these are some standard questions followed by personal ones asked by our audience. Whenever you're ready…"

"I was ready minutes ago. Just get on with it."

"Right. First question… How long have you been wrestling?

"About three years, ever since I got kicked out of MMA."

"Do you have any dream opponents?"

"Of course, I'd love to beat down that little upstart, Mila, for making a fool out of me. But other than her, I know I can take on Eris. I'd also like to stick it to Sayuri Rogue. I don't care if she is my boss. She deserves a beatdown for disrespecting me."

"How do you feel about your fans?"

"I couldn't care less. All I care about is winning."

"What's the toughest match you've had so far?"

"I want to say that frustrating Ishtar, but truthfully, the toughest match I've had would have to be a street fight I had with Mercy. We both fought our hardest with or without weapons. In the end, I barely stood high while Mercy was on the ground bleeding from her head."

"What do you do for fun?

"Drinking. With everything that's gone on in my life, a nice shot of vodka is just what I need."

"What do you think makes a great wrestler?"

"Doing whatever it takes to win, even if it hurts others. It may make you the most hated woman in the world, but it doesn't matter. If you can beat them, then you've got nothing to apologize for."

"Do you have any interests besides wrestling?"

"Of course, I like MMA. However, I'm not allowed in any of the MMA companies now ever since my loss against Mila, even though I was clearly cheated."

"All right then. Onto the personal stuff. First, do you love wrestling more than MMA or the opposite?"

"I admit, wrestling took a lot of getting used to. In my debut match against Kyoko Natsumi, she pinned me with a German suplex, and I completely forgot that pinfalls count in the squared circle. I was frustrated, but it was more for myself than the referee. I don't know if I hate wrestling, but I'm more used to MMA fighting."

"When facing your old MMA rivals now, do you wish it under the laws of wrestling or MMA?"

"It depends on my mood. When I'm in a bad mood, I'm willing to use mixed martial arts. I can go either way since I'm considering becoming a two-sport superstar."

"Which MMA fighter do you believe is better, Sarah or Ishtar?"

"I respect winners, so I'll answer with Sarah."

"Well, that's all the questions we have for her. Like always, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
