My name is Eli Tal-gunn,when I was thirteen,the Jedi order was wiped out across the galaxy.
As far as I am concerned,I am the last of the Jedi.
The earth kingdom has fallen,Neo is..gone,and we are trapped behind enemy lines,forced to hide in plain sight.
Our only hope for victory is the day of black sun,where an eclipse will take place and thus taking away the fire nation's power.
I don't know if we'll win,but one thing I do know,Xever will pay,and the avatar lives.

It was nighttime in the fire nation kingdom,as Ty Lee was sitting in front of her mirror getting ready for bed,when suddenly a knock came to her door.
She walked over to answer it,and when she opened the door there was Mai standing right before her.
"Mai."Ty Lee said in surprise.
"What are you doing here?"
"Get dressed."Mai replied.
"What why?"
"They've begun evacuating the city in preparation for tomorrow's invasion,they've already moved Azula and her father to another location,your family's already packing and heading out,I've come to get you."
"What about Zuko?"
"I think he was moved along with Azula and Fire lord Ozai,we'll meet them there."
"What about Neo?"
"What about Neo?"
"Aren't we going to get him?"
"For what reason,he's a prisoner,he's not our concern."
"But what if something happens to him during the invasion?"
"Ty Lee,have you..actually fallen for this boy?"
"He's not a boy,he's a man,and for the first time,he's a man whose feelings and emotions I don't wish to toy with,so yes maybe I have fallen for him,what's wrong with that?"
"He's Xever's archenemy,if he were to find out that you've put your lot in with him,Xever will come after you,and there's nothing I nor Azula can do to protect you from him,so please,leave him be."
"If Zuko were in his position wouldn't you do something about it?"
"Zuko was in his position...and it killed me inside."
"Then you know what I have to do."
"Ty lee,no don't do this..don't be a fool."
"Fools do crazy things when they're in love."Ty Lee said,as she made her way over to her window.
"And I love him,if you see Azula later,tell her...I'm sorry."
"Ty lee wait!"
But Ty Lee simply jumped out the window and began to make her way over to the prison yard,as Mai watched helplessly.
"Good luck."She said.

"DAY OF THE BLACK SUN:THE INVASION"
The next day over at the cliffs,Sokka was going over the maps one last time before briefing the invasion force.
"Top of the morning Momo."Aang said,as he jumped up from where he was lying down.
"Sounds like you slept well."Katara said.
"Like a baby moose lion,I'm ready to face the fire lord."
"So what's your strategy for taking him down?"Toph asked.
"Gonna get your glow on and hit him with a little avatar state action?"
"I can't,when Azula shot me with lightning,my seventh chakra was locked.
Cutting off my connection to all the cosmic energy in the universe."
"You know what I just heard,blah blah,spiritual mumbo jumbo blah blah,something about space."
"He means that the chakra that allows him to enter the avatar state has been blocked,so he can no longer enter it."Eli said.
"And don't get your hopes up Aang,remember this is more a rescue mission then it is an invasion,there's a chance we'll fail in taking down the fire nation today."
"Right,but at least we'll get Neo back."
Eli nodded with a short smirk.
Katara looked out to sea and saw a blanket of fog making it's way over to them.
"Oh no."She exclaimed.
"Sokka,do you think the fog will delay the invasion?"
"No."Sokka said,as he got a good look at the fog and smiled.
"That is the invasion."
And sure enough,five water tribe ships began to make their way to the cliffs,as the group went down below,and Aang and Toph created rock docks,so the ships could come into port.
As Hakoda stepped off his ship,Sokka and Katara ran up to meet him.
"You made it dad!"Katara exclaimed happily as she hugged him.
"Were you able to locate everyone I told you to find?"Sokka asked.
"I did."Hakoda said,but then he had a strange look on his face.
"But I'm a little worried Sokka,some of these men aren't exactly the "warrior type".
The three looked and saw the swamp people standing there looking around.
"Oooh-whee!"Exclaimed Due.
"This place ain't nothing like the swamp,what you reckon that is,Tho?
"Some sort of fire nation exploding trap what eats ya?"
"It's just a rock Due."Tho said to his brother.
"Well,I'll be."
"Is it just me,or are those fellas a little loose in the leaf-hat?"Hakoda asked.
"I just wish they would put on pants."Bato said.
"Pants are an illusion."Huu said.
"And so is death."
Hakoda,Bato,and Katara just looked on with weird faces,while Sokka was all grinny.
"Katara?'A voice said from behind her.
When she looked to see who it was,she was shocked to see that it was Haru,who was now sporting a goatee.
"Haru!"She said,as she ran up to hug him.
"It's so good to see you!"
"Toph,this is Haru."Aang introduced.
"When we met him,his town was controlled by the fire nation,so he had to hide his earthbending."
"Katara and Neo inspired me and my father to take back our village."
"You both helped us find our courage Katara."Tyro said,placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Now we're here to help you."
"We were sad to hear about Neo,I promise you his death will not be in vain."
"Thank you."Eli said.
"Commander!"Another voice called out.
Eli looked and saw the clones walking up to him,but saw there were only four.
"Briggs,Ripley,Scotty,Naifu."He said,as he ran up to them.
"It's good to see you again."
"Indeed sir."Briggs stated.
"So,where's Pulse?"
The four clones looked at each other in sorrow,Eli's expresion changed.
"What happened?"
"We encountered something in the swamp."Scotty said.
"It took out a few of our men."Hakoda added.
"It was something I'd never seen before."
"And hopefully will never see again."Tyro added.
"Indeed,but we can't worry about that now."Briggs stated.
"We have a job to do."
"Yes,and don't you guys worry,we won't let their deaths be for nothing."Eli said,earning a salute from the clones.
Suddenly,Toph felt something on the ground,or better yet someone.
"No way."She said,as she was suddenly picked up by the boulder.
"Hippo happy to see blind bandit!"Hippo said.
"You guys here for a rematch?"
"Negatory,"The Boulder said.
"The boulder and The hippo,no longer fight for others entertainment,now we fight for our kingdom!"
"Sweet."
"Oh great he's still talking in third person."Eli said,suddenly,a huge explosion was heard from one of the ships.
As the group ran over to see if everything was ok,Teo came rolling down the ramp,as his father made his way out from below deck,completely covered in a sort of sticky substance.
"Was that a new invention?"Sokka asked.
"Yes."The Mechanist said,licking his fingers.
"But unfortunately the incendiary capabilities of peanut sauce prove to be a failure."
"You're making peanut sauce bombs?"Eli asked confused.
"They're destructive."Pipsqueak said,his face completely covered.
"And delicious."The duke added,his face also covered.
"Wait,I thought you were picking up Smellerbee and Longshot?"Eli asked.
"They decided to go find the rest of the freedom fighters,we were hoping they'd be here before we left to meet you guys."
"But they never showed up."
"I'm sure they had their reasons."
"Were you able to complete work on the plans I sent you?"Sokka asked.
"Yes I was,and I think the fire nation will be quite surprised."
"Hey Aang."Teo said,as he rolled up to the avatar.
"My dad and I made you a new staff."
"A new glider."Aang said,as he took the new staff/glider,which now had blue wings instead of red.
"This is amazing."
"And as a special feature,I added a snack compartment."The Mechanist added,as he pulled down on a lever that lets out treats.
"Oh..well,I'm sure that will come in handy."
"Ok everyone."Eli called out.
"Now that we're all gathered,it's time to go over the plan."
Over in the fire nation prison yard,a female guard was bringing Iroh his morning breakfast,as the warden kept watch.
"I bet you're tired of being in this cell old man."The warden said.
"Well too bad,you're never stepping outside these walls again."
"Breakfast."The female guard said.
"Careful Ming,don't get too close.
"His stench will knock you right out."
The warden then left the room laughing like an idiot,as Ming(who was not amused by the warden's humor)gave Iroh his food.
"I snuck in some white jade tea."Ming said.
"I know you like rare teas."
"Thank you Ming."Iroh said, truly grateful.
"Ever since I was put in here,you have been very kind to me."
Ming gave Iroh a warm smile,as she stepped out of the cell.
"I'll be back later for your plate."She said,as she closed the cell door.
Iroh had a smile on his face,which then turned into a frown,as he knew what today was.
Over in Neo's cell,he was sitting in his cage contemplating what Zuko had told him the previous night.
(Flashback)
"It's gonna be a disaster,innocent people are gonna be killed."Zuko said,as he finished telling Neo what he'd learned in the war meeting.
"I see your father's ruthlessness knows no bounds."Neo said,as he took another bite of his bread.
"No it doesn't,I don't know why I didn't see it."
Zuko placed a a finger on his scar,as he could still hear his cries from the day he got it.
"Because you didn't want to see it,every child in one way or another,hates disappointing their parents,you and your sister are no different."
"Yeah,but now I see the truth,and I want to make things right."
"And how do you plan to do that?"
"By joining the avatar and teaching him how to firebend,you know as well as I do that the invasion is going to fail."
"I know,and you know as well as I do that the others aren't just gonna let you join them just like that,I mean you have been trying to kill us for the past year."
"I know,and it doesn't help that I hired an assassin to take out the avatar to cover my tracks."
"Zuko."
"I know,I know,but Azula and Xever had me figured out,they knew I was hiding something from them and my father,and Azula wasn't going to let that past,she'll use it to her advantage for power."
"And they most likely sent an elite guard after the assassin to find Eli."
"I really screwed up,but I will make this right,I swear to you,nor will I leave you or uncle to rot."
"Nice plan,but how exactly do you intend to get us out?"
"I won't,you'll bust yourselves out,and meet me in the catacombs under the city,I'll be confronting my father and telling him everything,then we'll make our escape."
"What about Mai?"
Zuko stopped for a second as he stood up to leave.
"I can't bring her into this,I won't make her a fugitive of her own home,I'll explain it all in a letter,but I can't make her leave her family."
"Isn't that her choice to make?"
"Would you ask Ty lee to leave her family behind?"
Neo was about to answer,but stopped,Zuko was right,while he did care about Ty Lee,he couldn't bring himself to ask her to leave what she knew behind,and make her a fugitive.
"That's what I thought."Zuko said,as he brought down his mask and picked up Neo's tray.
"Hold onto your napkin,you might 'need' it."
As Zuko walked away,Neo held the napkin in his hand,he felt something hard in it,and as he unfolded it,he saw what was inside.

Neo held the key to his cage tight,and knew he had to wait for the right moment to leave.
Back with the invasion,everyone was gathered to hear the plan,as Eli and Sokka sat next to the stage that Toph and Aang created.
"Are you sure about this?"Sokka asked Eli.
"They need to know."Eli said,as he walked out on stage.
"Need to know what?"Hakoda asked.
"You'll find out."Sokka stated.
Everyone piped down,as Eli walked to the middle of the stage,he looked the whole crowd over,then looked to his friends particularly Toph,he then took a deep breath and began to address the troops.
"Thank you all for coming,I know everyone is hyped for today,as today we invade the fire nation."He began,everyone then began to cheer,but he placed his hands up to silence them.
"I know everyone was expecting Sokka to present the plan by now,and he will,but we have a confession to make before he does."
Everyone was silent,as Eli took one last look at his friends,who all nodded their heads in assurance.
"The Fire nation knows we're coming."
Everyone was shocked to hear this,as they murmured among themselves,Hakoda even looked at his children for clarification,and they both looked at him with knowing glances.
"Then we should cancel the invasion."One person said.
"We'll be ambushed and wiped out!"Another person said.
"They'll outnumber us 10 to 1."Another person exclaimed.
Eli then held up his hands and calmed the people down.
"Listen to me,we won't be cancelling the invasion."He said,this made everyone confused,they began demanding reasons as to why it began to get out of control,when Hakoda,Tyro,and Briggs all stood up.
"QUIET!"They all said,and everyone began to calm down.
"Let him speak!"Hakoda said.
"Thank you Chief."Eli said,earning a nod from the water tribe chief.
"Look,I know by us still going is probably a terrible idea,but the truth of the matter is that we have a reason to still go,I too would suggest postponing the invasion to another time,but Sozin's comet is less then a week away,and we may not get another chance to take down the fire lord,we can still use the eclipse to our advantage,and Avatar Aang can still defeat the fire lord,but yes,there is a chance the invasion will fail."
He then looked to his friends again,who all had encouraging looks on their faces.
"Many of you may have noticed that my master Neo Sumdac is not here with us,as he was reported to you to have been killed in Ba Sing Se….This is not the case."
This earned curious looks from everyone,especially the clones.
"Master Sumdac is currently a prisoner of the fire nation,I intent to rescue him while the invasion commences,which will serve as a distraction while I and the Clones will make our way to the prison yard and get him out,again,I won't lie to you,the invasion will most likely fail,and we will either be captured and/or killed.
"So if there's anyone who wishes to stay behind,no ill will will be held against you,but me and my friends,and most likely the clones,are still going,the choice is yours."
Eli remained silent,as everyone just sat there,the gang was nervous that they would all walk away,and that they were one their own.
But then Haru stood up along with his father.
"Neo helped save our lives."Haru said.
"It's time we returned the favor."Tyro added.
"We're with you Eli."Teo said,as he rolled up.
"Yes,indeed."The mechanic said.
"The southern water tribe forces are at your disposal Eli."Hakoda said,as walked up to him,and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You are connected to this man young one."Huu said.
"We will be honored to help you get him back."
"Well said Huu."Tho said.
"For Neo!"The duke exclaimed.
"For Neo!"Pipsqueak added,holding Duke on his shoulder.
"For Neo!"Tyro and Haru sadi.
"For Neo!"The Mechanic and Teo exclaimed.
Everyone then began to shout "For Neo",as the clones began to say "For the General".
"For Neo!"Hakoda shouted,as Bato and the other water tribe soldiers joined in.
Eli had tears in his of the people there didn't know Neo that well,but they were still willing to put their lives on the line for him,even in the face of failure,he felt a hand grab his,as he looked to his right and saw Toph standing there.
"For Neo."Katara said.
"For Neo."Sokka added.
"For Neo."Aang said too.
Appa then began to growl,as Balto howled and Momo chirped,each in their own way saying "For Neo"as well.
"For Neo."Toph said softly,earning a smile from Eli.
He then walked forward and raised his hands to silence the crowd.
"Thank you."He said.
"Now Sokka's gonna present to us the plan he has."
Sokka then walked up and set out some maps for everyone to see.
"Ok everybody listen up."he said.
"Neo's counting to get this right,so pay close attention,because we don't have much time.
There are two steps to this invasion,the Naval stage and the land stage.
"To gain sea access to the fire nation capital,we need to get past our first major obstacle,the great gates of Azulon."
"Next,we hit the land and we hit hard."Hakoda added, stepping in,which Sokka didn't mind.
"We must fight past their battlements and secure the plaza tower,once we do that,it's up to the royal palace,at this point the invasion will begin."
"Excuse me."The boulder said.
"The boulder is confused,isn't the point to invade during the eclipse?"
"The eclipse will only last eight minutes."Sokka said.
"That's why we need to take the battlements before it begins,that way when the eclipse begins,we can just make our way up there with little to no resistance."
"Bear in mind,that the fire lord knows we're coming,so chances are he's been secured somewhere safe."Eli said.
"But Avatar Aang will go ahead of us and see if he can find him in the palace,maybe a secret room or something.
"Meanwhile,after we slip through the gates of Azulon,the clones and I will break off to make our way to the prison yard,which is here,we'll secure master Sumdac,then rendezvous with the invasion at the palace,where hopefully if everyone goes well,we will have take over the entire kingdom."
"While this may not be the day we've been waiting for,this will be the day we bring our comrade home,and if we are able,defeat the fire lord and end the war once and for all!"Hakoda said,as the crowd began to cheer.
Everyone then went to work in preparing to head out for the fire nation,Katara gathered water into sacks that were on either side of her waist,Toph had put on some Earth kingdom armor,and Sokka was putting on his war water tribe warrior armor.
Aang, who had changed into new air nomad robes,stood by the water,as he shaved the hair on his head,making his arrow fully visible.
Eli stood in a cave nearby,as he pulled out the bag that the creed gave him,he opened it up and saw that it was some sort of uniform,similar to his Jedi robes,but very different,he proceeded to put it on.
Later,Aang had walked up to Sokka,who was standing on a cliff overlooking the invasion force.
"We've been looking everywhere for you."He said.
"The boats are ready to leave."
"Sorry,just needed a minute to myself before we head out."Sokka said.
"Well I have to say Sokka,I'm really surprised."
"About what?"
"That you were able to keep your cool while giving the presentation,I thought for sure you would have choked or something,but you held your own."
"Neo's out there,and he doesn't need me being good ol' Sokka,he needs me on my game,plus I made him a promise that I would lead you guys,and that's what I plan to do."
"And you've done him proud."A voice said from behind.
The looked behind them and saw Eli walking up to them in his new uniform,it was white,with gold stitching on the chest that had a strange design on it(imagine Rava's face)he also had gold sleeves on his arms and legs with the roab split waist down in the middle,he also had on black fingerless gloves and grey-ish black boots,his new lightsaber was also clipped to his belt.
"We all will,we're going to save Neo and force willing,end the fire lord once and for all.

The invasion force was underway and setting sail for the Fire nation,as everyone was preparing themselves and waiting for the arrival,Bato and Briggs were looking through their telescopes/binoculars and could see several statues standing above the water.
"There they are."Hakoda said.
"The great gates of Azulon."
"I don't see any gates."Katara said.
Eli borrowed Briggs's binoculars and looked through them,he got a good look at the statues and saw that it seemed to be some sort of rope in the water below.
"I think I see them."Eli said,he then handed the binoculars to Hakoda who got a better look.
"Katara,you and the swamp benders whip up a fog cover."He said.
"We'll sneak by them statues like we sneak by that fire nation blockade!"Tho said.
"But remember,they know we're coming,so they'll be ready for a trick if they think they see one,best to go ahead and get everyone below deck while they make the cover."
"Agreed,ok everyone you heard him,everyone below deck now."
As Katara and the swamp created the swamp cover,everyone else began to get down below,and sure enough,Eli was right,as an alarm started going off and the nets were pulled up and set ablaze.
"So much for sneaking past them."Briggs said.
"Let's get down there."Hakoda said,as he and the others who were remaining went below deck.
"Let's hope Sokka's invention works."Eli said.
As the fire nation soldiers boarded the ships,to find the occupants,but found that it was all deserted.
Down below,several subs were making their way underneath the gates,as Eli looked at Ripley,who had a detonator in his hand,he then pressed the button and all the ships were blown up,taking out anyone who may have been in the blast radius.
Eli placed a hand on Riply's shoulder and nodded his head,he then looked out the window to see Aang on Appa.
"I'm sorry Aang."He said.
Aang just nodded with a sad expression on his face,as Eli moved to the front of the sub.
"You've really outdone yourself this time,son."Hakoda said.
"Yeah,congratulations Sokka."Toph said,as she was getting seasick.
"You managed to invent a worse way of travel than flying."
She was about to throw up,when The duke handed her his helmet for her to barth in.
"Well I just came up with the idea,the mechanist did all the work."Sokka said "humbly".
"Now don't sell yourself short my boy."The mechanist said.
"It was your idea to use waterbending to make the subs sink and float,brilliant!"
The mechanist then opened a scroll with terrible drawings on them.
"Though your original designs were a bit difficult to decipher."
"Yeah that's Sokka for you."Eli said.
"Hey!"Sokka said,as he looked at Eli accusingly.
Eli just gave him a look that said,"tell me I'm wrong".
Sokka simply shrugged his shoulders and sighed,Eli was right.
"Unfortunately,there is one problem I couldn't fix,the subs have limited air supply.
"Before we land on the beaches,we'll need to resurface."
"Naifu,how close are we to the prison area?"Eli asked the knife throwing clone.
Naifu was looking through a scope,when he saw a huge land mass.
"I'd say about 15 to 25 miles."He said.
"We'll surface when we get closer,tell Briggs to get everyone ready."
"Sir."
Back in the prison area,the guard known as Ming was bringing Iroh his lunch.
"Lunchtime General Iroh."She said,as she placed a tray before the cell.
"And this time,I brought you an extra bowl of rice."
"Thank you Ming."Iroh said.
"Your little gestures of kindness have made my days in prison bearable.
"I think you should take the rest of the day off."
"What?"Ming asked, confused.
"You don't look well,maybe you should go home and rest."
"No,I feel fine."
Iroh then had a determined look on his face that told Ming he was serious.
"Trust me."He said.
"It is better that you are not here this afternoon."
Ming nodded her head in understanding,and proceeded to leave the cell,as well as the prison.
Back with the invasion force,they had surfaced about a little ways from the mainland,as they needed to regather air for the subs.
Aang was with the rest of the gang,as he was about to set out for the fire lord.
"So,this is it huh?"He said to his friends.
"Are you ready for the fire nation to know the avatar is alive?"Sokka asked.
"I'm ready."
"Remember Aang,the fire nation knows we're coming."Eli explained.
"So the fire lord may have been moved,just try to find any clues that might tell us where they moved him."
"Right,and bring our brother home."
"That's the plan."
The five then entered into a group hug,as Hakoda addressed the invasion.
"Everyone listen up."He said.
"The next time we resurface,it'll be on the beaches,so stay alert and fight smart."
"Break time's over,let's move."Briggs added.
Everyone began to move back into the subs,as Katara,Aang,Toph,and Eli stood still.
"Be careful out there."Toph said.
"I was just about to say that same thing to you."Eli added.
The two stood there for a few seconds just staring at each other,even though she was blind,Toph felt as though she was seeing Eli in clear vision for the first time,her heart was racing as she wanted so much to do something she'd never done before,but instead she just turned around and her way to the sub.
Eli was standing there watching her leave,this might be the last time he ever sees her,if things don't go well.
"Commander!"Briggs called out from the sub he and the other clones were in.
"It's time."
"Give me a minute!"He said,as he ran after Toph.
"Toph!"
"Eli?"Toph said as she turned around.
"What is…"
But Toph was cut off,as Eli planted a huge kiss on her lips,both Aang,Katara,and Briggs looked on with shocked faces,as Eli pulled away and ran over to the sub,not letting Toph askowage what had just happened.
"Let's go!"Eli said,as he jumped into the sub with Briggs.
"Ok then."He said,closing the hatch.
Katara and Aang were just left standing there,completely off guard by what just happened.
"That was.."Katara began.
"...A long time coming?"Aang finished.
"Yeah."
"I guess I better get going too."
"Um Aang?"
"Yeah?"
"We've been through so many things together,and I've seen you grow up so much.
"You're not that goofy little kid I found in the iceberg anymore,I guess what I'm trying to say is,I'm really proud of you."
"Everything's gonna be different after today isn't it?"
"Yes,it is."
"What if...what if we don't make it today?"
"Aang,don't say that,of course we…"
"What are you guys doing?"Sokka said,as he came out of the sub.
"It's to submerge."
"Right,sorry,on it."Both Katara and Aang said at the same time,Katara jumped on Appa and Aang got his glider ready.
"Toph,what are still doing out here?"Sokka said,as he dragged Toph inside the sub.
Aang then looked at Katara one last time,before taking off for the fire nation,and Katara and the other subs dived into the water,with the one with the clones heading in a different direction.
Meanwhile,Zuko stood before a painting of his mother.
"I know I've made some bad choices."He said.
"But today,I'm gonna set things right."
He then placed his hood on,he was going to meet Neo later,but first,he had to make a quick stop first.
Over with Neo,he'd begun using the key Zuko left him as he began to pick the lock,he eventually succeeded and hopped out of his cage.
He made his way over to the front gate and waited to hear the fighting start.
Aang was currently flying over the fire nation field and towards the palace,when his stomach started to grumble,he pulled the lever that released the snacks and ate some.
"What do you know?"He said to himself.
"It did come in handy."
He continued his trek towards the palace.
Over with the invasion force,Hakoda looked through the sub scope and saw they were getting closer to the front gate.
"Everyone in position,"He ordered.
"Earthbenders get to your tanks,this is gonna be a rough ride."
The tanks began to make their accent to the surface,as alarms started going off alerting the fire nation of the invasion's presence.
They began firing chains into the water to attach them to the subs,one sub got caught and was being pulled up the wall,when Katara came out of the water on Appa and cut the chain,letting the sub fall back into the water.
Hakoda looked through the scope and saw they were getting close to a caged wall.
"Ready the torpedoes!" He ordered.
They placed ice encased torpedoes into the launchers,Hakoda gave the order to launch and the waterbenders pushed the torpedoes out of the subs and into the gates blowing them up in the process and allowing the subs to go through.
They began to make landfall,as the fire nation fired bombs on them.
The subs then opened up allowing earthbending powered tanks to come out and the invasion force charged.
THE BATTLE OF THE DAY OF BLACK SUN HAD BEGUN.
As the invasion force pushed through,the fire nation fired bombs on the tanks,that's when trucks carrying boulders let a few fall out,allowing Toph,The Boulder,and Hippo earthbend them towards the launchers and destroyed them.
Fire nation tanks came out from the walls and began to fire on the invasion force,as the earthbending tanks came up and managed to crush a couple of them.
The tanks came up from behind,as Tho,Due,and several other swamp-benders used water to block the fireballs and then used the water to cause one of the tanks to crash into another.
"We're a man down."Tho said.
"Where in tarnation is Huu?"
As they knocked another tank into the water,Huu came out in his swamp monster form and began dismantling each of the tanks,he then knocked one onto one of the fire nation launchers.
"Hey Huu."Due waved.
"Where've you been?"
An opening appeared on the sea monster,revealing Huu's face.
"Communin'with nature."Huu said.
"Takes a while to collect this much seaweed."
He was forced to cover his face when a fireball came down.
Several fire nation rhino riders fired fireballs on Hakoda,Sokka,and several other water tribe warriors,as they charged ahead towards,but then Sokka managed to jump on one of the rhinos,cut the fire nation soldiers spear in the middle,and knocked him off the rhino,he then saw that his dad was outnumbered,but made quick work of them.
He managed to block several fireballs with his shield,but it was soon blasted out of his hand,he managed to grab a spear from a fire nation soldier and knocked him down with it,he then threw the spear into two other fire nation soldiers and then grabbed onto Sokka's rhino as he road by.
As they rode through the battle,they saw that the battlements were taken out their equipment,such as a tank,a truck,and were even firing on Huu.
"Sokka,we've gotta take out those battlements,it's our only chance."Hakoda said.
Sokka looked at the battlements and then thought of something.
"I've got an idea."He said.
A While later,Sokka and Hakoda were on Appa with Katara,as Sokka hung onto Appa's horn and cut one of the battlements spears off,Hakoda threw two bombs into another one blowing it up,and Katara used her waterbending to completely freeze another,they then landed between the last two.
"You two take that battlement,I got this one,watch each others backs."Hakoda said,Sokka and Katara nodded in understanding,as they split up.
Sokka cut the lock on the door and half,he then kicked it open and ducked allowing Katara to freeze the two soldiers inside.
Sokka then ran up and cut the crossbow in half destroying it,they then ran out and watched as they father jumped into the other battlement.
They heard a brief scuffle,when the battlement suddenly exploded,they immediately ran over to check on their father,as he walked out holding his side,as he seemed to be injured.
"Dad?"Katara said worriedly.
"Dad!"Sokka exclaimed.
Zuko entered Mai's room,as he walked up to her bed holding a scroll in his hand.
He placed the scroll on her pillow and moved to leave the room.
"I'm sorry Mai."He said.
Over with Eli and the clones,they were just below a cliff that lead to the prison yard,Briggs looked through his binoculars as he saw the fighting commence.
"The fighting's starting."He said.
"Then let's get moving."Eli said.
"The eclipse starts in ten minutes,we'll need to be up at the prison by the time it begins."
They then fired grapples up on the cliffside and began pulling themselves up,they were up on the ledge when suddenly a fireball hit close to them,as several firebenders shot at them,Scotty pulled out his rifle and fired back at them killing two and injuring one,who then ran away towards the prison yard.
"Don't let him near the yard!"Eli ordered.
"Eli!"Pulse said,as he threw a grenade up into the air and Eli then used the force to push towards the guard,making it blow up near him in the process.
Suddenly,the prison alarm started going off.
"I think it's safe to say that they know we're here."Naifu said.
"Let's just get Neo,take anyone that gets in our way out."Eli said.
"Sir."All the clones said.
Inside the prison,Neo was still in his cell,when he suddenly heard a commotion outside,but just as it began it stopped,the gate then suddenly started to heat up making Neo take his hands off of it,he then jumped back as it suddenly exploded,when the smoke cleared Iroh was standing there buff,but coughing due to the smoke.
"Iroh?"Neo said.
"Hello Master Sumdac."Iroh said through coughs.
"Never done that before."
"I'm glad you're here,now we can meet up with Zuko,he's going to help Aang learn firebending."
"I am glad to hear that,but I'm afraid I won't be going with you."
"What?"
"I have my own mission to carry,the invasion will fail,you know it as well as I do,so I must go and prepare for the true final battle."
"You're going to gather the white lotus."
Iroh nodded.
"Then what do I tell Zuko?"
"Tell him he will see me again,but he must find his own path without me."
"He won't understand."
"Yes he will,he's not as hard-headed as he appears."
Neo stood there for a few seconds before bowing to Iroh,who bowed back.
"May the force be with you Neo."
"May the force be with you Iroh."
Iroh nodded and smiled and then went his own way.
Neo picked up a lightsaber from one of the dead elite guards and began to make his way to the catacombs that Zuko had told him about.
Back at the fight,Katara and Sokka lanaded Appa in a safe area,as Sokka laid his father down on the ground,Katara went to work healing him.
"How does that feel dad?"She asked.
"Ah,a little better."He said,a little weak,he then sat up.
"I need to get back to the troops."
"You're hurt badly,you can't fight anymore."
"Everyone's counting on me to lead this mission Katara,I won't let them down,AHhh!"
"Can't you heal him any faster?"Sokka asked.
"I'm doing everything I can."
Sokka looked out to all the troops as they pushed forward,he then looked back down at his father.
'If something happens to me,I want you to lead them.'He heard Neo's voice in his head.
"I'll do it."He finally said.
"No offense Sokka,but you're not exactly Mister healing hands."Katara said.
"No,I'll lead the invasion force."
"Don't be crazy Sokka."
"Maybe I am a little crazy,but the eclipse is about to start and we need to be up that volcano by the time it does,I kept thinking that when Neo said he wanted me to lead them I thought he meant just the group,but now I think he meant the invasion too.
"You can do this,"Hakoda said.
"I'm proud of you son."
"I still think you're crazy,"Katara said.
"But I'm proud of you too."
Sokka nodded and placed his helmet back on,he then jumped onto Appa.
"Yip yip!"Sokka said,as he and Appa flew away.
He eventually returned to the battle and Appa knocked away a tank that had been firing on,Sokka jumped onto the saddle,as he addressed the invasion.
"Listen up everyone!"He called out.
"I want the tanks in wedge formation,warriors and benders in the middle.
"We're taking that tower and heading for the royal palace!"
Everyone got into position as Appa and Sokka took the lead,he drew his sword and shouted….CHARGE!
The invasion force pushed forward and forced the fire nation troops to fall back to the tower,one of the trucks was driven into the wall and blew up allowing the invasion to breach.
"The fire nation is falling back!"Tyro said.
Sokka then landed down next to Bato.
"Sokka,we're on our way to victory!"He said.
Sokka just looked ahead towards the city.
Over with Aang,he'd landed near the palace and began to make his way to the city,he noticed that the entire city had been evacuated.
"Eli called it."He said,as he made his way to the palace.
He burst through the front doors and landed on the floor.
"The avatar is back!"He said,only to see it empty.
"Hello,anybody home?"
He began searching the entire palace,hoping to find some traces of the fire lords whereabouts,he eventually entered the throne room and found it empty as well.
"No."He said in frustration.
"No,Fire Lord Ozai...WHERE ARE YOU!"
