AN: Hello everyone :) Can I please just say how humbled I am by your very sweet reviews. I am so not a wedding/bachelorette/party planning person so I am really glad you enjoyed the last chapter and I really hope you like this one. I admit that writing the ceremony itself took a lot of time and patience on my part. I hope I did it justice for all of you. I am a bit of an overthinker but for this chapter I only read through and edited once because I didn't want to overthink, I wanted it to be on instinct so I apologize ahead if you find mistakes.
For all of you loyal readers, there are a few of you that always leave reviews and they are always generous so thank you very much. Also, there are a few new reviewers and readers, thank you for your kind words and for letting me know how much you are enjoying this story. And to the guests, I can't respond to you except for here but thank you for taking the time to let me know what you think. Also, to clear up any questions, I am not married, definitely very single but thank you.
As far as future updates go. This story still has some life left in it according to your reviews and my vision for it. That being said, I am moving to the Boston area in three months so that along with work, family, finding an apartment, getting licensing for a new state, all of that, life may not allow me the time nor concentration and energy to write as much as I would like. Please bare with me and be patient. I will not abandon you.
I hope this update finds you all in good health and happy spirits. Happy reading :)

Chapter Fifty-Five
"To Arizona and Callie. May you have a long, happy marriage filled with love, kindness, forgiveness, and many, many, many children." Daniel toasted with a wink at his daughter and soon to be daughter-in-law.
"Thank you dad. I think there were a few too many 'manys' in that speech though." Arizona said as everyone raised their glass of champagne and Daniel returned to his seat. They had just finished their rehearsal and were now seated for dinner with their families. Callie sat to her left and the two clasped their hands together under the table tightly.
"I'd like to say something." Carlos said, standing at the opposite end of the table as Daniel. He cleared his throat several times before speaking and both women realized it was because he was emotional. When he did start to speak again though, his voice was strong and sturdy without any hint of the emotions he was suppressing. "When Calliope was a little girl she was obsessed with weddings. Everything was about weddings, she spoke about them the way some little girls speak about ponies and princesses. She loved attending weddings, we watched every movie with a wedding in it, and eventually, she made a scrapbook with all the things she wanted for her wedding day. There was no doubt in our minds that our Calliope would one day find a worthy young man and marry him. But, she came home and told us that she was dating a woman, Arizona, instead. We did not respond well at first. In fact, we were awful. We made judgements and ultimatums and nearly lost our daughter because of it. And we were wrong and I am so sorry for the way we initially responded and treated our daughter and this lovely young woman she is about to marry. I am so honored to be standing here today, ready to walk my daughter down the aisle and witness the union of two people who so clearly were made for each other. You two have taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and acceptance. Arizona, from tomorrow and every day after, you will officially be a Torres and I promise that you will always have a seat at our table and a place in our hearts. Calliope, I am so incredibly proud of the woman you have become and I am humbled by your kindness and forgiveness. I love you, mija. To Calliope and Arizona, salud."
"Salud." was echoed throughout the hotel conference room that had been rented out once again.
"Daddy that was beautiful, thank you so much." Callie said, rising and walking over to hug her father both visibly emotional.
"Shall we eat?" Lucia asked, noting the emotions in her husband and daughter.
"Yes, yes, let's eat." Carlos said enthusiastically, both from hunger and an eagerness to have a distraction at the moment. Arizona watched as Lucia waved to the servers at the door and dozens of people with big silver platters walked in to deliver their meals.
"You ok?" Arizona whispered as Callie sat back down beside her.
"I am, I'm just feeling a little emotional." Callie said, wiping at her eyes.
"Me too honey." Arizona said, bringing the other woman's hand to her mouth.
They ate dinner with lots of noise and laughter as their families and close friends conversed with each other, telling stories and getting to know one another. There were several more toasts and many more glasses of champagne before the servers came back to clear their empty plates. Despite the delicious food, neither woman ate much, both feeling the nerves of what the next day would bring.
"I'm going to miss you tonight." Callie said later on in the evening, as she and Arizona took a short walk around the hotel to have a private moment together before they would separate until their wedding ceremony. The two of them sat on a bench just outside the doors of the hotel.
"I'm going to miss you too. I don't even know if I will be able to sleep in our bed tonight. But tomorrow we are getting married." Arizona said, a small smile gracing her face as she pulled Callie's hand into her lap.
"I can't wait." Callie replied, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Arizona. The couple leaned in and shared a sweet but chaste kiss, not wanting to spark anything they couldn't finish for at least another twenty-four hours.
"Are you nervous?" Arizona asked.
"A little but in a good way. What about you?"
"I'm nervous about falling or rambling or somehow making a fool of myself but not about marrying you."
"You won't but even if you do, I will still love you and I will still marry you." Callie replied with a smile.
"Thanks you're so sweet."
"I know." Callie replied, placing another kiss on the sarcastic blonde's lips.
"Do you have everything you need?"
"I do and if by chance I forgot something, I'm sure someone can run to the house for me."
"I don't want to go home without you but at the same time I'm anxious for this night to get over."
"Me too. Do you have everything you need at the house?"
"I do. Mom and Dad are staying with me and so are Tim, Sara, Teddy, and the baby. Are you going to stay in the suite with your mom and Aria?"
"Mmmm and Abuela, Nonna, and Addie. We are going to have our nails done tonight in the suite while we watch movies."
"Sounds amazing and relaxing hon. Mom, Teddy, Sara, and I have an appointment in the morning to get our nails done. Then we will be heading to the wharf to get our hair and makeup done. Your mom had a room set up for us there so you could get ready here at the hotel without a chance of running into me."
"As much as I wish we could be together I'm looking forward to being surprised when I see you tomorrow."
"Me too, I think I'll make sure I'm wearing waterproof mascara." Arizona giggled.
"Arizona it's nineteen hundred, time to get you home so you can get some rest." Daniel said as he exited the hotel followed by Barbara, Teddy, Sara, and Tim who was carrying baby Cooper. The patriarch was in full army schedule mode.
"I guess it's time to say goodnight." Callie sighed.
"We will wait in the car. See you tomorrow Callie, get some rest." Barbara said, hugging the brunette tightly.
"I will. Take good care of Arizona for me. Make sure she sleeps and eats in the morning."
"We've got it covered, Cal." Teddy assured her before following the Robbins to Arizona's SUV.
"Get some sleep. I love you Calliope and I can't wait until tomorrow."
"Goodnight honey, I love you too. Now go before I change my mind about letting you go and have both of our mothers after me." Callie said. The two hugged quickly and shared one last kiss before Arizona dropped Callie's hand and walked to her car. She turned and waved to Callie who blew her a kiss. Arizona caught it and held the pretend air kiss to her heart before climbing into the driver's seat.
Later that night Arizona was laying in bed with Teddy while they watched a movie on Arizona's laptop. Everyone else was already retired to their rooms for the evening and the two friends took the opportunity to spend some time together before Arizona would be gone for a month long honeymoon to wherever Callie was taking her.
"So, do you think Callie will like it?" Arizona asked, as Teddy handed her back the carefully made scrapbook that she and Barbara had made for Callie. It was a set of three, one already made from the time they met to the wedding, one blank one for the wedding and honeymoon, and a blank one to start together for their future.
"I really do. It's a very thoughtful gift and something I know she will cherish." Teddy said, smiling at some of the pictures and memories Arizona had managed to capture.
"I also got her a charm for her bracelet to represent our marriage." Arizona said, picking up the little bag that held the tiny wedding cake with two brides on top.
"What do you think she got you?"
"The honeymoon, Teds."
"Yea that makes sense. Are you nervous?"
"Mmm but in a good way, like I have all these little tiny butterflies swarming around in my belly."
"Henry and I set a date. We've decided we want it to be super small and simple. He only has his sister left and I have you guys. That's all we're inviting, his sister, brother-in-law and nieces and you guys and Nick of course. Then we're going to go on a cruise of Alaska, something we've both always wanted to do."
"Sounds lovely Teddy. When are you thinking?"
"September thirteenth."
"Oh, I'm so happy for you." Arizona squealed, throwing her arms around her friend.
"I know. Your parents are going to freak. All three of us are getting married within a year of each other."
"Just wait until we start having babies together." Arizona replied with a smirk.
"Henry wants kids right away." Teddy replied.
"And you?"
"I kind of do too. We decided to start trying after the new year."
"Wow that's fast."
"I know but we're not getting any younger and it doesn't always happen right away. When do you think you and Callie will try?"
"I don't know we've been so busy with the wedding and we want to enjoy our honeymoon but when we get home and settled and are both ready we will start planning."
"It would be nice to have kids close in age."
"It would." Arizona replied. "But first, let's get both of us married."
"Speaking of, it's after midnight, we should probably get to sleep. You're getting married later today." Teddy said, pulling the covers back so they could both climb underneath.
"I think I'm too excited and nervous to sleep." Arizona replied even as a yawn escaped her.
"Try." Teddy said, switching off the bedside lamp.
Across town at the hotel, Callie tossed and turned from side to side. Her mom and Aria were fast asleep in one room, her Nonna and Abuela asleep in another room, Addie was passed out on the sofa, and Callie was wide awake in her own private king sized bed. She had offered to share it with Addie but the redhead had fallen asleep on the couch hours ago and Callie hadn't had the heart to wake her. As she watched the clock tick to 12:34 she made a wish and smiled because it was something her Abuela had taught her when she was little. With that, she got up and grabbed her phone, knowing she wouldn't sleep until she heard Arizona's voice.
Typing a quick text, she waited anxiously for a reply which came almost immediately. Smiling widely, Callie pulled up Arizona's picture and dialed the number, her smile growing larger as she heard Arizona's voice after only two rings.
"Hey there, what are you wearing?" Callie asked in a slightly deeper voice than normal.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Arizona giggled back.
"I can't sleep."
"Me neither. I even tried sleeping on your side of the bed but it just felt weird to have Teddy on my side."
"I miss you."
"I miss you too."
"I needed to hear your voice but you should go get back into bed and just keep the phone next to you that way we can fall asleep together." Callie said as she crawled back into the king sized hotel bed.
"I'm going to lay on the couch with your pillow so I don't wake Teddy." Arizona said. She was already in the living room so she wouldn't wake Teddy after seeing Callie's text asking if she was still awake. Arizona grabbed a throw blanket and snuggled into Callie's pillow on the couch.
"You laying down?"
"Yea. You?"
"I am."
"Can you believe tomorrow is our wedding? It seems like it took forever to get here."
"I can't wait to marry you." Callie confessed with a large smile on her face.
"Well you will be a married woman in less than twenty four hours."
"Any second thoughts?"
"Never. Callie, I have never been more sure about anything in my life. I want to be your wife. What about you? Are you getting cold feet on me?" Though she was teasing, the thought made the blonde's heart rate increase.
"Never. You're stuck with me now, forever."
"Mmm I like the sound of that."
"Me too. Goodnight Arizona."
"Goodnight Calliope."

"Arizona, what are you doing on the couch sweetheart?" Barbara's voice woke Arizona from her sleep the next morning. The blonde stretched and looked down at her phone to see that it was still connected to Callie's. She smiled and imagined the beautiful Latina sprawled out hazardously across the bed in her hotel room like she found her on so many mornings.
"Good morning Calliope, I love you, I'll see you at the end of the aisle at four sharp." Arizona whispered into the phone quietly before ending the call and joining her mom in the kitchen.
"Did you have a hard time sleeping?" Barbara asked worriedly.
"Yes and I didn't want to wake Teddy so I came downstairs. I finally fell asleep on the couch around one."
"Well, we have to be at the salon to get your toes and nails done in an hour. Do you want to shower now or when we get back?"
"When we get back I think. We will still have plenty of time to get to the Wharf by noon to get our hair and make-up done. Dad and Tim can shower while we're gone so the showers are free for us when we get back."
"Sounds like a plan, honey. Why don't you go wake up Teddy? I'll get Sara as soon as the coffee is done."

"Get up, get up, get up, it's your wedding day!" Callie woke to a body slamming into hers as her sister jumped up and down excitedly like a kid on Christmas morning.
"Yea, my wedding day which means I should get to sleep in."
"We let you sleep in, mija. It's ten thirty." Lucia said with a bright smile from the doorway before continuing, "Your dad wants us to meet him for lunch so you need to get up and shower. Felix and Demi will be here to do your hair and makeup at one."
"Ugh." Callie said, dropping back onto her bed dramatically before she threw the blankets off. But a smile graced her lips as she realized she would be married in less than seven hours.

"You look stunning, squirt." Daniel said as he entered the bridal suite that had been set up for Arizona and her wedding party to get ready for the ceremony.
"You really think so?'
"I really do." Daniel said. He was feeling quite emotional at the thought of walking his youngest child down the aisle in less than an hour's time.
"Did you need something?" Arizona asked her father as he stood awkwardly staring at her. She hadn't put her dress on yet so she stood in a robe with the word "Bride" written in pink across the back. She wanted to wait until the last minute to put her dress on but her father looked uncomfortable with her attire.
"I wanted to give you a little something for good luck. I know you have something blue and something borrowed covered. You probably have the others as well but Callie sent me in here with something new for you and I have something old that I'd like you to have."
"Are you about to make me cry and ruin my makeup, dad?"
"I'll try not to, Squirt. Which one do you want first?"
"Callie's I guess." Arizona said. Daniel nodded his head and handed Arizona the square package. "I'll give you a moment of privacy, just call for me when you're ready."
Arizona smiled at her dad and watched him leave before she carefully peeled the pink paper from the box and opened it. A bigger smile graced her face as she saw the garter belt and matching bra and underwear set with a little note attached.
Arizona,
Since I don't know what your dress looks like, I wasn't sure what kind of bra you would need or if you would wear one at all but you can wear these if you choose or bring them with you on the honeymoon. The garter belt though should definitely be worn. There's more under the tissue paper. See you in a little while, I'll be the one in white.
Love,
Callie
Arizona pulled the tissue paper up and saw a manilla envelope. She opened it with care, knowing instinctively that whatever was inside was important. Arizona pulled the papers out along with the shiny piece of plastic. She ran her fingers over the name on the card ARIZONA M. ROBBINS TORRES. Arizona read the legal papers quickly, shuffling through them until she came to the last page which was a typed letter from Callie.
Arizona,
Now that we are married (or will be in a short amount of time), I wanted you to have access to everything. If something were to happen to me, I want to know that you and anyone else who joins our family will be taken care of. The card grants you access to my trust fund account. Even in the event of a separation (which I know will never happen), I would want you to be cared for. My father and I spent the week having the proper paperwork drawn up, all you need to do is sign once we are officially married. I hope you aren't mad but I wanted to do this. I love you,
Callie
Arizona took a moment to gather her thoughts and wrap her mind around what all of this meant. She no longer felt the need to run but she allowed herself a moment of pure panic at the thought of something happening to Callie. She assured herself that wouldn't happen and therefore, she would never have to worry about that paperwork. She would sign it tonight for Callie if only to give her peace of mind but she knew she would never need it.
"Can I come back in? Your mother said she and Teddy need to help you with your dress soon."
"Yes, dad, come on in." Arizona called. Her dad entered the room and sat on the bench beside her, both of them enjoying the silence for a moment.
"I want to tell you, I am so proud of you, squirt. I mean it. And your grandma and grandpa would be too, they would have loved to see you grown up and getting married. I thought maybe today you would like to have something of theirs. Your grandfather gave these earrings to your grandma to wear on their wedding day and now, if you would like them, I'm giving them to you." Daniel said, handing Arizona a box to reveal the dangling diamond shaped earrings.
"Dad, they're beautiful. You're sure you want to give them to me?" Arizona asked. She had settled on a simple pair of diamond earrings after searching and searching for the perfect pair only to not find them. Her grandmother's earrings now seemed like they were meant for her to wear on her wedding day.
"Of course I do."
"Thank you." Arizona said, hugging her dad tightly.
"Daniel you didn't make her cry did you because we don't have time to touch up her makeup."
"He didn't make me cry mama." Arizona replied with a laugh. Daniel kissed the top of her head and made his way out of the room to go check on things while Arizona made her final preparations.

"Oh my God, Callita, you are absolutely stunning." Lucia cried as Callie emerged from behind the japanese curtain where Addie had helped her into her dress. She had gotten ready at the hotel but wanted to wait until they reached the Wharf to step into her gown.
"Don't cry Mami or I will cry."
"Callita, here, I have this for you to wear. It was your Abuela, Pilar's. She left it for me for my wedding day and asked that I pass it to my eldest daughter on hers." Lucia said, placing the pearl necklace around her daughter's neck. Callie brought her hand up and touched it carefully.
"You never talk about Abuela."
"Because I never really knew her and it makes me sad but I was lucky to have two mothers. Nonna Aria took me in as her own when Abuela died and now your children will get to experience that same kind of love. The love of two true mothers." Lucia replied from behind Callie as they looked at each other in the mirror.
"Callie, Teddy dropped this off for you, it's a present from Arizona." Aria said, bringing a box into the room for Callie and breaking up the mother-daughter moment. The brunette smiled and pulled the wrapping paper from her gift to reveal a box set of leather scrapbooks. Callie opened the first one, a blue one and smiled as she flipped through it to see pictures from the last nearly two years of her life with Arizona. Attached to the white scrapbook in the center was a note that said For our wedding and honeymoon. The final scrapbook, a light purple one's note read For our future family.
"This is so sweet and thoughtful." Lucia said.
Callie saw a little black pouch in the box and pulled it out to reveal the cake charm for her bracelet and smiled. Arizona had bought her so many charms that she needed more bracelets to connect them to but she loved all the little reminders of all their adventures and was glad that this adventure, perhaps the greatest one of all, hadn't been overlooked by the blonde.
"Mija, are you ready?" Carlos asked as he entered the room.
"More than ready." Callie replied, a giant smile gracing her face even as new butterflies took flight.
Callie took a deep breath and stepped out into the hall where the wedding party was gathered, minus Arizona and her father. They had many arguments over who would walk down the aisle first. Arizona had said she should be the first to walk down because this was Callie's dream wedding but Callie had argued and ultimately won. At one point in her life, she would have wanted all eyes on her as she walked down the aisle and she still did and would get that. But now, more than anything, she wanted to have her own eyes on Arizona as she walked down the aisle. And so, Arizona had caved.
Callie took deep breaths to steady her nerves as Addison and Cristina started down the aisle together followed by Mark and Aria. Her hands shook and Carlos looked over at his daughter and placed his hands over hers while they watched Reina and Eli pull the wagon with baby Cooper and the pillow with the rings on it down the aisle. Everyone "oohed" and "awed" at the toddlers as they walked by, both throwing fake flowers as they passed. Sara and Nick walked down next, followed by Teddy and Tim. Finally the music switched and Callie took a deep breath as she and her father started down the aisle to the wedding march, everyone stood, eyes on her. She fought tears as her eyes locked with her mom and then moved on to her Abuela and Nonna and then settled across the aisle on her future mother in law. Suddenly her nerves were gone and she was just anxious to see Arizona as she stood at the end of the aisle waiting for her.
Callie's breath hitched with anticipation as she reached the end of the aisle and turned. Her eyes filled with tears as she got her first look at Arizona and their eyes met. Arizona smiled brightly at Callie and kept her eyes on her the entire walk down the aisle. Arizona's hair was in the long beach waves that Callie adored. Her dress was a strapless corset with beaded details in the bodice. At the waist, the dress flared a little bit with flowered patterns covering the tule. It was a very Arizona dress that complimented Callie's own. When they finally reached Callie, Daniel placed Arizona's shaking hand into Callie's.
Arizona smiled at Callie as she took in the sight of her bride. Her long hair was pulled up in an elegant half bun, the rest in curly tendrils down her back and covered with a long, lacy veil. Her dress was a mermaid cut that was lacy and draped over one broad and toned shoulder, surprising Arizona at the complete femininity of the dress. The material over her shoulder was detailed with beading in the delicate lace. Callie was definitely all woman but she had never thought she would see the day where she was literally dressed in lace and pearls. Their attention was pulled away from each other as the minister spoke.
"Who gives these brides away?" The minister asked.
"We do." Daniel and Carlos said together before taking their seats beside their wives. Arizona and Callie stepped up to the altar together hand in hand and the rest of the world seemed to disappear.
"We are gathered here today to join these two women who have so perfectly complemented each other in marriage. In meeting with these two women, I have learned a lot about them and about their love and respect for one another. A marriage between two people is more than just a wedding day. You are all here today to make a promise to these two women as they make a promise to each other. By accepting their invitation to bear witness to this partnership, you are promising them that you will support them, encourage them, advise them, and love them as they move forward from their wedding day and into a marriage. As a minister, people often ask me 'What's the recipe for the perfect marriage' so I have thought long and hard on the matter. And I have come to the conclusion that there is no perfect recipe for the perfect marriage because a perfect marriage simply does not exist. However, I have noticed that all successful marriages do share some key ingredients."
"First and foremost, successful marriages have a never ending supply of love. And not just the love you're feeling here and now on your wedding day but the kind of love that takes patience, commitment, and sacrifice. The kind of love that means putting another before yourself.
It takes a ton of compromise. You will spend the rest of your life making decisions together, it is a partnership and each person has an equal amount of wants, needs, and opinions. You will not always agree but you must always agree to respect the other person and know their needs matter equally.
It takes an erlang of communication skills. This is not always a skill that is perfected but over time and with practice, it will improve. And you will do well to remember that not all communication requires words.
It takes a shot of forgiveness, not just for your partner but for yourself for the imperfections in your marriage.
It takes a dash of humor for those times when if you don't laugh, you will cry.
And perhaps most importantly, a spoonful of sugar to keep your relationship sweet, fun, and romantic."
"These two women have many things in common as you all know. They are both surgeons, they share a love of traveling and food, and have many of the same hobbies and interests. But they also have many differences, differences which have already led to many compromises. In fact, this ceremony is a success because of those compromises. In speaking to Arizona and Callie about these things, I found a passage that I thought fit them. With both of their approval, I'd like to read it now. It is from Corinthians 13:4-8a:"
Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not
rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, keeps no records of wrongs, does not
delight in evil, rejoices with the truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres. Love never fails.
"I think this passage is perfect for this couple for the love between them is evident. And now, I invite these two to share the vows they have written for each other. Calliope, would you like to read your vows to Arizona?" The minister asked. He looked at Callie and she smiled nervously at him before her eyes met Arizona's and she was lost in a sea of blue that pulled her in and made her forget everyone else.
"Arizona. When we first met, all I could think about was that you were blonde and perky and you had this ridiculous butterfly scrub cap. I prayed to get past those things that I thought would be annoying to me at the time. But then you smiled this super magic dimpled smile and everything in the world felt right. I didn't know it back then but when we first met, I was looking into the eyes of the person who would become my best friend, my lover, and the person with whom I choose to spend my life. I love that you are curious and find joy in the little things. I love that whenever I see a butterfly, I smile because I think of you. And I love that my life has blended perfectly with your beautiful, perky soul. I promise you that when life gets hard, I will be the anchor that keeps you from drifting too far. I promise to protect you, support you, and challenge you. I promise not to let a day pass without letting you know how beautiful you are and how much you mean to me. And I promise to love you with every fiber of my being until my eyes close for eternity." Callie said with a smile, proud of herself for making it through that without shedding a tear. Arizona on the other hand was trying to compose herself to recite her own vows.
"When you're ready." The minister said quietly. Arizona nodded, took a deep breath and looked up at Callie.
"Calliope. If I listed all of the little things that I love about you, this ceremony would be entirely too long and our guests would get hangry. So, I've narrowed it down to the one thing that describes you the best, your heart. You care like crazy and I love that about you. You have this giant heart that you wear on your sleeve and I am so lucky that I have been able to experience the magnitude of that love and caring. While I can't promise a future that is always full of rainbows and butterflies, I can promise you this. I promise to provide you with the best headache cures when you're in need. I promise a life filled with magical adventures. I promise you a future with laughter, tears, and challenges but through those challenges I will do my very best to ensure your happiness. I promise to never stop trying to make you smile because I find it miraculous, breathtakingly stunning and it's something I need to see everyday for the rest of my life. I promise to honor and cherish you always. And most importantly, I promise to love you every single day, more and more for better or for worse, in sickness and in health."
"Could you hand me the rings please?" The minister asked Mark. "As you place these rings on each others fingers, I would like you to think about this quote by George Eliot: What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life- to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?"
"As you place these rings on each other's fingers, it is a symbol of joining your two human souls for life. Calliope, place this ring on Arizona's finger and repeat after me please."
"I, Calliope Torres, take you, Arizona Robbins, to be my wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, as long as we both shall live." Callie repeated as she placed the wedding ring on Arizona's finger. She brought the shaking hand up to her lips and placed a kiss on it.
"And now you, Arizona, repeat after me."
"I, Arizona Robbins, take you Calliope Torres, to be my wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, as long as we both shall live." Arizona said, unable to contain the happy tears as she placed Callie's ring on a long tan finger and then mimicked Callie by kissing it.
"As a final symbol of their joining, Arizona and Callie will light their candles before they light their unity candle together."
Each bride stepped forward, Arizona lighting a yellow candle, Callie a blue one before they joined in the middle to light a white one while they repeated a quote they had chosen by Maya Angelou, "In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all of the world, there is no love for you like mine."
"By the power invested in me by the State of Washington, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss your bride." The minister said as the couple stepped back down to the altar in front of him.
Callie and Arizona stepped closer to each other at the same time. Arizona's arms immediately wrapped around Callie's waist, pulling her closer while Callie's arms rested over Arizona's shoulders and her hands tangled in her blonde hair that was dangling in curly beach waves. They could feel the other woman's smile as they kissed and though it was chaste, it was full of love and promises of more passionate kisses to come once they were in a more private setting.
"I am proud to announce for the first time, Mrs. Callie Torres and Mrs. Arizona Robbins Torres." The minister said.
Flashes of photos were seen as the couple walked back down the aisle together hand in hand. They had an hour to get photos taken before the official start of their reception but the guests had an open bar and appetizers for them to enjoy while they waited. Arizona and Callie held hands, smiled, and posed for the photographer for a few photos before Callie spoke.
"Would you mind getting some pictures of the kids first so they don't start getting cranky? I just need two minutes with my new bride." Callie said in a rushed voice before she pulled Arizona with her to enter the bridal room where Arizona had gotten ready.
"Hey." Arizona said, a giant smile gracing her face as Callie locked the door and turned to face her.
"I know we can't take long but I just wanted a minute alone with my wife." Callie said, unable to even try to hide the smile on her face.
"Wife. Oh my God, Calliope, we're married." Arizona squealed. "You're my wife."
"Say it again."
"You, Calliope Torres, are my wife." Arizona said, placing a passionate kiss on Callie's lips. She swiped her tongue over a plump, red bottom lip and was immediately granted access. She explored Callie's mouth with new wonder as if it were their first kiss. Callie pulled away first looking flushed and completely breathless.
"We have to go get our pictures taken but I really want to skip our reception and have my way with you." Callie said, pecking Arizona's lips.
The blonde giggled as she kissed Callie back, grabbing her hand, "Not a chance Mrs. Torres, I have been dying to dance with you and show off my beautiful wife for months. Plus, there's cake," The blonde added before leading her new wife outside where the wedding party was currently getting photos taken.
An hour later, the couple and their bridal party entered their reception to lots of cheers and clinking of glasses. They sat at the head table to enjoy their meal, though, they spent more time kissing than eating as seemingly every member of their family, along with all of their friends, rang their bells for a kiss as soon as one of them started eating again. Neither of the women minded though, kissing each other was a beautiful price to pay.
"Before we start dancing, Aria and I have prepared our speeches." Teddy said, standing up and clinking her glass to get everyone's attention.
"As many of you know, I was not born into the Robbins family but Arizona became my sister nonetheless. It started with us being military brats, playing in sandboxes and learning how to fight dirty on the playground when some kid made fun of one of our names. But what Arizona and the Robbins actually taught me was how to stand up to the people you love when they are wrong. Arizona and I, we have been through a lot together, some of those things not so happy memories. But the good ones make all of the bad ones worth it and I am so happy that I get to be here today, standing beside her as she celebrates a love that she never thought she would have. To Callie and Arizona." Teddy said, raising her glass to toast.
"Well, I was born Callie's sister and we didn't always appreciate each other but I am so honored to be your sister, Callie. You were a great role model for me. I never doubted you would do amazing things but I did doubt I would until you gave me some tough love and a talk that only sisters can provide. I know you will continue to do great things because you have married someone who sees and wants the best for you. I am so lucky that I get to be a part of your special day. To Callie and Arizona." Aria repeated as they once again toasted.
"If anymore people toast, I'm going to be drunk before we hit the dance floor." Arizona whispered to Callie.
"Don't worry, I will make sure we switch to sparkling juice before that happens. I want us to both remember this night."
"Will the brides come out onto the dance floor to share their first dance?" The DJ asked. Arizona stood and grabbed Callie's hand, leading her to the dance floor.
The couple embraced, dancing closely as the music started. Twinkly lights had been strung throughout the room and the dance floor was lit by the glow making it feel magical. Neither woman could stop smiling as they held each other, swaying gently to the music.
"I feel like this is a dream. Maybe you should pinch me." Callie whispered. Arizona reached her hand up and pinched Callie's cheek affectionately.
"I know it feels like a dream but this is real, we are really married and dancing at our wedding."
"It just feels surreal."
"I know and tomorrow we are off to our honeymoon in…."
"Nice try, you'll find out tomorrow honey." Callie whispered, rubbing her nose against Arizona's. The song ended but neither woman noticed as they kept swaying, completely lost in their little bubble. They were joined on the dance floor by the wedding party as their song ended and soon the rest of their guests joined as well.
"Ok, it is time for the traditional money dance. Mr. Torres informed me we are doing this slightly differently tonight. Any member of either family can get in line to dance with either bride but they must first place a dollar in the jar instead of pinning it to the bride's dress."
Arizona watched as people lined up to dance with both herself and Callie. When Callie had told her about this dance she had gladly agreed, wanting to keep any traditions that Callie wanted for their wedding a reality for her bride but now that they were about to dance with many other people, the blonde was second guessing this decision. She wanted to be the only one dancing with Callie tonight.
"Hands where I can see them, Mark." Callie warned as she danced with Tim and Mark wrapped his arms around Arizona, "And eyes on her face."
"Jeez Torres, relax, I'm with Lexie."
"That means nothing to me Sloan."
It seemed to the two brides that every person invited to the wedding had danced with each of them at least once. By the time the dollar dance was finished and the dance floor had been opened up to everyone, the couple was ready for a break from dancing and some refreshments. Luckily Carlos was waiting for them as they stepped off the dance floor, he handed a bottle of water to each of them and guided them to sit at the table where Arizona's parents and Lucia were already seated.
"We thought we would give you ladies your wedding gifts now." Daniel said as the women sat down.
"Dad, I appreciate it but it's really not necessary."
"We know that honey but we couldn't let your wedding day pass without getting you something. We gave Tim and Sara money to help them with a downpayment on a house but since you two already have a house, we got you something different." Barbara said, handing her daughter an envelope.
Arizona opened it as Callie peeked over her shoulder. She pulled out the certificate and upon reading it and realizing what it was, her face immediately flushed, "Mom!"
"Well, what is it?" Lucia asked.
"It's a gift certificate for a sperm bank." Callie replied, a smile on her face. Arizona was completely embarrassed but Callie was secretly thrilled.
"It's good for two years so there's no rush." Daniel replied with a wink.
"Oh my God." Arizona said, her face falling into her hands.
"Now you have no excuse to not get busy, I need great grandbabies." Abuela said.
"Ok, take it easy. We literally just got married." Callie said, trying to take the pressure off of her wife. Wife, it still blew her mind that she had a wife and was a wife.
"Well, I don't think we can top that." Lucia said.
"Definitely not. Like Daniel said, you already have a house and since we bought Aria and Jared their house, we had to come up with something different. Since you two are married now, I assumed children will come next. We want to be able to visit and have them visit us whenever they want and as often as possible. With you both being surgeons, we know sometimes work will get in the way. We wanted to make visiting us, and Barbara and Daniel as well, as easy as possible so we have bought you your own private jet. It's not large by any means but it will fit twenty six passengers."
"Daddy are you serious?" Callie exclaimed.
"Are you saying we have our own plane?" Arizona asked.
"You bought them a plane?" Daniel exclaimed in slight disbelief.
"Yes, yes. Here is a picture of it." Carlos replied, handing over a picture of the shiny plane with a big red T on the side.
"Wow, that's really something." Barbara said. Arizona noticed her parents seemed a bit deflated. She herself was a bit overwhelmed and unsure how to feel about these very generous gifts from both of their parents.
"Mom, Dad, let's go dance." Arizona said, pulling her parents up from their seat.
"All three of us?" Daniel asked as if it was an impossible thing to do.
"Yes dad, I want to dance with both of you." Arizona replied with an eye roll. She led her parents to the dance floor and the three of them began dancing to the current fast paced song. They were soon joined by Teddy, Henry, Tim, and Sara and for a while the Torres family just watched.
"Did we upset Arizona?" Lucia asked.
"No Mami, I don't think so. It's just that the idea of all of this money is new to her and I think her parents' gift seemed a little small compared to a jet. They seemed a bit upset by it and I think Arizona was just trying to get their minds off of it."
"Their gift was so lovely though. It's helping you start your family." Nonna said.
"I know that and Arizona does too. Everything is ok, I promise." Callie said, placing her hand over her mom's. "Now, how about we go show those Robbins how to dance."
The dancing between the Robbins and Torres families and all of their friends turned into a bit of a competition that left everyone breathless and laughing. The Torres family clearly had better poise and were far superior dancers but that didn't mean the Robbins family didn't pull their best and most embarrassing moves much to Arizona's mortification. At concern for her wife's impressive shade of red and serious possibility of injury to one of Arizona's cousins from their increasingly daring dance moves, Callie finally took matters into her own hands and asked the DJ to announce that it was time to cut the cake.
The cake was beautiful. A creation that Kacie had made on her own, something she rarely did now that she worked at the hospital full time and had moved in with Nick. It was a simple three tiered cake with flowers the colors of their wedding scaling up one side of it. Blue ribbons separated each layer and a blonde and brunette bride stood on top. It was simple and yet elegant and exactly what they had hoped for. In addition, Kacie had made them a cake in place of a "groom's cake" in the shape of a scalpel for them to freeze and have on their first wedding anniversary. They placed their hands together and cut into the beautiful cake as their family and friends applauded.
"Please don't shove cake into my face." Callie requested as they posed for a photo just as they were about to feed each other cake.
"Are you kidding? This cake is way too good to waste. Besides, you look beautiful and it's our wedding, I would never do that." Arizona said sweetly as she winked at her wife. "You better not smear any in my face either, Calliope."
True to their words, the brides fed each other their piece of cake without smearing it onto the other woman's face. Once that tradition was completed, the brides took their cake and sat in a corner of the room to enjoy it together, a rare moment of peace and quiet as the rest of their guests were focused on getting their own slices of cake.
"I love you." Arizona confessed suddenly as she reached up and swiped her thumb over Callie's lips, effectively wiping away the frosting that was in the corner.
"Hmm I love you too. And I really really love this cake."
"Oh the cake gets a really, really but your wife just gets a simple I love you?" Arizona teased with fake annoyance.
"I will show you how much I really, really, really love my wife once we get to our hotel tonight." Callie replied. She scooped up the last piece of red velvet cake on her fork and placed it in Arizona's mouth, "But tell me this cake isn't worth a really, really."
"It is pretty amazing." Arizona replied with an appreciative groan.
The couple managed to stay in their quiet bubble unnoticed for a few more minutes while the guests enjoyed their cake. Soon the dance floor was busy again though and the couple was spotted and brought out onto the floor. After a few songs, the music changed and each bride shared a dance with their father for the traditional father-daughter dance.
Callie smiled into her father's shoulder. This was something they had both looked forward to since she was a little girl and watching Arizona nearby as she danced with her own father was just the icing on the cake. Once their father's released them, the brides found their way back to each other and were finally able to dance together uninterrupted for the first time since their first dance. It seemed surreal to both women and yet completely magical. The dance was over much too soon and the dance floor was once again filled with fast paced music.
The toasts had been made, the cake had been cut, and hours of dancing and laughter had taken place. Their wedding had been as perfect as it could have been and Arizona found herself slightly sad that it was coming to an end but was very much looking forward to the rest of their lives. Callie seemed to be having the same thoughts as the couple shared one last slow dance in the middle of the floor with many happy couples surrounding them.
"Are you ready to go to the hotel?" Callie asked, sweeping blonde hair over a shoulder so she could lean down and kiss it softly.
"I am exhausted and looking forward to our wedding night but I'm kind of sad all of this is over. I never thought I'd want anything like this but it was perfect, Callie."
"It certainly was. I love you, Arizona."
"I love you too, Calliope. So, so much."
"Shall I go tell the DJ to announce our departure?"
"I think so. I'm going to go say goodnight to our families. Meet me over there?"
Arizona let go of Callie's hands so they could part ways and headed to the table where her parents sat with Callie's. Tim, Sara, Teddy, Henry, Aria, and Jared sat there as well. Nonna and Abuela had gone back to the hotel hours ago and Nora had taken Cooper back to the house around the same time. She smiled as she approached their families and saw them laughing and joking together. A perfect blend of the people they loved most in the world.
"Hey baby girl." Barbara said, spotting Arizona and pulling her over onto her lap.
"Mom! I am much too big to sit on your lap." Arizona giggled, noting that her mom was a little bit tipsy.
"You're still my baby." Barbara said, squeezing her tighter and Arizona for once let her.
"Where's your bride?" Daniel asked.
"Yes, where is my baby?" Lucia repeated.
"She's just letting the DJ know that it's time to announce our departure. We are exhausted and have an early flight to catch. It would really help if I knew how long said flight would be." Arizona said, trying to get someone at the table to talk.
"Yea it's a shame. Could be an hour, could be thirty." Aria replied with a wink.
"So are you going to use this honeymoon to practice giving me some grandchildren?" Barbara asked, pinching her daughter's butt as she sat in her lap.
"Mom! You have Cooper who is sweet and adorable and perfect and not even two months old yet."
"Yes but neither of my girls seem to be in a hurry to give me grandkids." Barbara complained with a pout not unlike Arizona's on her face.
"Yes and we have none." Lucia said, her eyes darting between Arizona and Aria.
"Hey baby." Callie said, approaching the table and kissing Arizona's temple.
"Back away slowly, Callie. I'm trying to save you." Arizona whispered to her bride but the brunette was confused and it was hard to whisper without her mother hearing given the close proximity.
"No, Callie, you stay right here, you need to be part of this conversation." Barbara said.
"Yea, you come here." Lucia said, pulling Callie into her lap.
"What's going on here?" Callie asked.
"Sorry baby, I tried to spare you."
"We want grandkids." Barbara stated simply.
"What about Cooper?" Tim said, trying to save his sister and her bride who both looked mortified.
"Henry, I think we should get a drink, you thirsty?" Teddy asked quietly, unfortunately, Barbara heard and zoned in on them.
"Oh no you don't, Theodora. Why do my girls not want to have babies?"
"Mom, we literally just got married hours ago and Teddy isn't even married yet. Plus you do have Cooper. Be patient."
"Well, I have none." Lucia pouted.
"Dad?" Arizona said, looking to her dad for help.
"Come on Barbie, let the girls go so they can get started on the honeymoon and then the baby making." Daniel replied, winking at Arizona who dropped her head into her hands.
"Fine, go have fun on your honeymoon." Barbara said, releasing her daughter.
"Thank you mom. And one day you will have so many grandkids between Tim, Teddy, and I that you will regret this moment."
"Never."
"Well, I'm not ready to give up on this quite yet. Barbara and Daniel have Cooper and he is just delicious. When do you plan on giving me a chubby baby with big blue eyes?" Lucia asked pointedly, eyeing her daughter and Arizona.
"Aria was married first." Callie replied.
"That's right she was and Callie and I you know we haven't had time to be married yet so...so…"
"So maybe you should pester Aria and Jared first." Callie finished Arizona's thought.
"You're right." Lucia said, releasing Callie and focusing her attention on Aria.
"And just for that you two are no longer in the running for Godparents." Aria said as her mother focused on her.
"Love you all, see you in a month." Arizona called, now eager to leave their reception. They waved at the DJ and he announced their departure, effectively saving Aria so everyone could wish them well as they left.
Their remaining family and friends created a tunnel from the doors to the doors of the limo, blowing bubbles at them and shouting out their good luck wishes and congratulations as the couple made their way to the car. The quiet as the door shut, cutting off their family and friends voices was almost deafening but welcome after all the noise of the past few hours. Arizona sighed in contentment as she leaned her head on Callie's shoulder. Everything had been absolutely perfect and wonderful.
"Was it everything you hoped for?" Arizona asked her wife.
"It was so beautiful and perfect."
"It really was."
Their drive to the hotel was a bit longer than either of them cared for. They were staying in a room near the airport so they could sleep in longer in the morning and they knew they would be glad for it in the morning but as they sat in the back of the limo, newly married, sharing gentle kisses and timid touches, the drive seemed ridiculously long. When the limo finally pulled up to their hotel, they both sighed in relief. Their belongings had already been placed in the room along with their luggage for their honeymoon. Tomorrow the same service would see that their wedding dresses were returned carefully to Lucia.
"This is beautiful." Arizona said. They had a huge bed and a full view of the city. It was the most inviting view she had seen.
"It's not as fancy as some of the places we've stayed." Callie said, almost as if she were embarrassed.
"I don't care about the fanciness of our rooms Callie. As long as there is you and a bed, I am happy. Please don't worry that I need all of that, I don't."
"I know." Callie replied with a smile. "I know this isn't romantic but before we get caught up in our wedding night and fall asleep would you please sign those papers for me? I want my dad to have them for his lawyer when they return to Miami."
Arizona didn't respond verbally, she simply nodded her head and placed a kiss on her wife's lips before heading to the box near their luggage where said papers were kept. She pulled the plastic card out and placed it in her wallet with the rest of her cards and signed the paper quickly before allowing any thoughts or doubts to cross her mind. She handed the papers to Callie who frowned at her signature.
"This is signed Arizona Robbins. You forgot the Torres."
"It wasn't intentional, Callie. It's just been such a long, exciting day and it's new." Arizona said, taking the papers back and adding Torres to her signature.
"I know, I'm sorry."
"So, now that the not so romantic stuff is taken care of and we are finally alone…"Arizona said, walking toward Callie. The brunette smiled and began the process of slipping her dress off. "No! Don't even think about it Calliope, that is my job."
"Oh, you want to take my dress off?"
"I do."
"Then by all means." Callie replied with a flirty smile.
"I really wanted to have my way with you while you were still in this dress but I've changed my mind. It needs to go." Arizona replied as she slowly unzipped her wife's dress and let the lacy material fall to the floor at her feet. The blonde smiled as she took in the white lacy thong and matching bra. "My wife is stunning."
"My wife is overdressed." Callie said, spinning Arizona so she could work on the delicate ties of the corset holding Arizona's dress in place. Arizona giggled as Callie stomped her foot in frustration but it died as a talented tongue found the spot behind her ear that drove her crazy.
"Callie, get this dress off of me." Arizona whimpered, suddenly feeling very impatient and needy. Callie laughed against her pulse point, the feeling of hot breath against her wet skin was tortuous and lovely all at the same time.
"Finally." Callie said softly, letting her teeth graze the pale shoulder of her wife as the dress finally fell to the ground. "I see you wore the garter belt."
"You asked me to."
"In that case, I have a reward for you." Callie replied. She pulled the chair away from the desk and sat it in the corner of the room where she would have room and Arizona would have a good view. "Sit."
Arizona obeyed, she was eager to see what this surprise was as she sat in the chair in her own white lacy panties and a strapless bra. She watched Callie as the Latina scrolled through her phone before smiling and hitting play on a playlist she had made specifically for this moment. The music began and Callie's hips began to move to the beat. Arizona smiled, this was something she was completely on board with. Anytime Callie wanted to dance for her, she would be a willing and enthusiastic participant.
Callie danced one entire song while Arizona watched before she came over to dance closer to her wife, bending, straddling, and touching the blonde as her hips continued to move on their own. Arizona was mesmerized by the tan skin contrasting with white lace, dark hair falling from in curly tendrils, and a pink tongue darting out to lick plump red lips. Her entire body was buzzing as she watched her wife. Her wife removed the garter belt from high up on her thigh slowly, kissing the skin where the garter belt had rested as she did.
"Can I...Can I touch you?" Arizona asked tentatively. She was enjoying this dance and didn't want it to end, she knew in the past there had been rules about touching and she wasn't sure if this applied now.
"You can touch." Callie replied with a smile as she sat straddling Arizona and ground her pelvis against Arizona's, her hips still moving to the beat. The movement caused delicious friction between her legs and she gasped as Arizona's fingernails dug into the tender flesh of her ass.
"Bed, now." Arizona said. Suddenly dancing was too much. She needed more than touching. She needed to lick, taste, take everything that Callie would give her. Callie smirked but obeyed as she stood and helped Arizona stand.
The blonde surprised her by pushing her forcefully on the bed before crawling up her body in her own seductive move. Callie wasn't sure how or when but suddenly she found herself completely nude with a naked blonde on top of her, already eagerly tasting the skin of her neck and jawline. The blonde didn't stop, she tracked down the muscular body, her tongue tasting the valley between full breasts as her hands cupped them. She used her tongue to circle Callie's belly button before licking a path lower and lower, finally settling between strong thighs. She placed several feather light kisses over moist lips before she licked a long swipe up the entire length of Callie's clit. She hooked the brunette's legs over her shoulders and held on tightly to curvy hips as her mouth set to work.
The idea that she was making love to her wife was suddenly propelling her forward, her tongue trying to express all the things she had been unable to find words capable of explaining this feeling she had for this woman. Her mouth was gentle but firm, she bordered between wanting to be sweet and wanting Callie to scream her name so she settled on a pace and rhythm that she thought might convey both wants to her wife. She smiled as she felt Callie's fingers digging into her hair, scratching her scalp. Callie's back arched, her legs shook, her hips rocked, and suddenly the gorgeous brunette beneath her fell apart in a beautiful shuddering mess. Arizona climbed her way up the writhing body, placing kisses over every area of skin she could reach.
"I love you." Callie whispered once she was capable of words again.
"I love you too. I have never made a better decision than making you my wife." Arizona replied, a smile on her face as she thought about how lucky she was.
"I seem to recall proposing to you first."
"Only because you beat me to it." Arizona replied. She stroked her finger down Callie's nose before leaning in for what was meant to be a sweet kiss but turned passionate quickly.
Callie took control of the kiss quickly as her tongue swiped across Arizona's lip, seeking entrance. The kiss was demanding but also gentle and sweet at the same time. Callie sighed as she laid on top of Arizona, her naked body pressing against Arizona's, the blonde automatically spreading her legs to accommodate her. Callie smiled into the kiss as she let her pelvis settle between Arizona's thighs and rock against her core. The blonde moaned beneath her causing Callie to spring into action. This wasn't a night for dominating or teasing, it was about expressing their love for each other, about consummating their marriage. With that in mind, Callie let her hand wander down between her wife's legs and gather wetness. She brought her fingers up and painted Arizona's flat stomach with the wetness before she licked it up, plunging her tongue into Arizona's belly button before moving down her body.
She settled between her wife's legs, placing gentle kisses over the hip bones that she had come to love. It helped that she knew it drove Arizona crazy when she kissed or touched those hip bones. As if on cue, the blonde sighed and writhed underneath her slightly. Callie moved on, placing gentle bites on the insides of lean thighs before she moved in suddenly and circled Arizona's clit with her tongue. The blonde arched her back and moaned, causing a new flood of wetness and need to course through Callie's core. She set a pace according to Arizona's moans and movements, not wanting to rush but also wanting to give her an orgasm to remember. Arizona's hand sought out Callie's and the two intertwined their fingers, Arizona's other hand clutching the bedsheets tightly as Callie plunged her tongue into the blonde, curling it as she pulled back out. She repeated the process several times before returning to the bundle of nerves that she knew would send her trembling blonde over the edge.
Callie smiled as Arizona's moans grew louder, her movements against Callie's mouth more frantic. Callie could feel the familiar spasming of Arizona's lower abdominal muscles seconds before the blonde stiffened and then convulsed uncontrollably beneath Callie. She lapped at the blonde's juices until Arizona pushed her face away and pulled her up for a searing kiss. The taste of their juices combined on their tongues causing them both to moan in pleasure. Callie laid down beside Arizona and pulled her into her arms as the blonde continued trembling slightly next to her.
"Is it just me or does married sex feel so much better?" Arizona asked, causing Callie to laugh.
"It's not just you but I don't think a singular orgasm is enough to make such a declaration."
"We need more data."
"We need more data." Callie repeated with a knowing smile. Before Arizona could respond though, the brunette added, "But not tonight. It has been an eventful day and tomorrow will be a long day of traveling. We need our rest."
"Mmmm, why do you have to be so logical?" Arizona asked but didn't argue. Now satisfied, she had to admit, she was exhausted and her eyes were growing heavier the longer they laid there with Callie's fingertips gently tracing patterns over her back.
"Because I'm always right." Callie replied with a smile. She kissed Arizona's soft hair.
"I'm too tired to argue with that. But there will be much more data gathering on our honeymoon, right?"
"Of course, we have to practice baby making, didn't you hear our moms?" Callie teased.
"Ok that is the last time you can mention our moms for the rest of the honeymoon if you want to collect enough said data. It's mood killer, Calliope."
"You're a dork."
"But you love me."
"I really do."
"I love you too. Goodnight Mrs. Torres." Arizona said, a smile gracing her lips as she leaned down and kissed Callie sweetly.
"Goodnight Mrs. Robbins Torres."
