JakeTheSnake: Yeah she's not answering at all, Nina

ZackAttack: I'm sure it's nothing, bro

Token_Straight: I've been telling him that for an hour. I'm sure it's nothing

Emma playfully batted away Sophie's fork, "you can ask."

Sophie fake pouted, "Honey, please."

With a smile Emma lifted her fork and fed Sophie some of her shrimp, "of course."

Meanwhile Emma's phone kept going off in her pocket. Too bad she didn't know the new password to her phone.

….

"So, things have been going well with your sister?" Dr. Wagner asked his newest patient, Louis Agreste.

The boy had been brought to him with various issues stemming from the lost of his parents and other sister. Louis generally seemed to want to have a better relationship with peopl and usually talked up a storm about his issues but today he seemed distant.

Louis looked at the choker he had received the other night, he had wrapped around his right wrist like a bracelet, " Yeah, I guess me and my sister are getting along."

Sophie laughed a little as she and Emma walked hand and hand to the park, it was drizzling a little but not that much that the girls minded too much.

"So, Jake just jumped up to the table?" Sophie laughed.

Emma laughed as continued, "Yep, Jake jumped on the table, pointed his finger at the woman and said, "Lady, you are the definition of a Karen!" so Rachel grabbed his arm and pulled him down and out the door. I grabbed our bags and followed getting outside just in time for me to see Rachel hit him over the head with a book and say, "Your right she is a Karen but we're in a library!"

The blonde laughed harder and locked her arm with Emma's, "They sound like a riot, I bet they get along great with my friends Zacharie and Nina."

Emma smiled and nodded, she doubted her 17 year old self didn't talk to Jake or Rachel. Chances are she talked to them still and had introduced them to Sophie and her friends.

As they got to the park Sophie and Emma got distracted and stopped talking as they saw some kids skateboarding by.

"I always wanted to learn how to skateboard," Sophie mused out loud.

Emma looked at the kids and then glanced at a toy store that they had passed.

Rena looked disappointedly down at the ox miraculous in her hand, "I still wish Ivan hadn't handed me this."

Carapace jumped along the rooftops alongside Rena as he looked around for the akuma, "It's not like I don't understand his reasons though. Ivan has been having to leave his family a lot during the attacks, he has 3 young daughters. I hate leaving Alain and Nina too."
The fox hero sighed at that and had to slam on the brakes as suddenly a black kwami and a red kwami appeared in front of her.

"Rena!" The black one cried, "I lost," bubbles came out of his mouth, "I can't find her!"

Red one looked upset too but not nearly as frantic, "Plagg, calm down I'm sure they'll help us find them."

Rena and Carapace shared a shocked look before Carapace asked, "Don't tell me….you got separated from Cat Noir and Ladybug?!"

….

Emma caught Sophie again as she fell backwards off the skateboard, "You keep falling….Hope its for me."

Sophie couldn't help but giggle, "That was a bad one."

"Can't all be winners," the older girl said as she let Sophie stand up straight, "But balance is key when using a skateboard..."

Emma trailed off as she noticed that Sophie wasn't looking at the board or trying to get back on the board. She was actually looking at Emma and was leaning closer. Emma smiled and started leaning in for a kiss as well when they heard a crash. They jumped and turned to see a lot of people running past them.

Sophie ran towards the commotion without hesitation. Emma felt her anxiety spike but she fought it down as her concern for Sophie was greater. The girl ran after her girlfriend.

Sophie felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Emma looking at her concerned, "Are you crazy? What are you doing?"

"The heroes are pinned down," Sophie explained and pointed to see Carapace up against a wall shielding Rena and two dots, "We have to help!"

Emma gave Sophie a look, "What?"

"We have to help," Sophie repeated with conviction.

"What?"

"Emma, come on," Sophie encouraged as she grabbed her hand.

The confused girl looked at the heroes pinned down and then back to her girlfriend's hopeful blue eyes.

Emma pushed down her anxiety and dread, "okay whats the plan?"

….

"Rena do you have a plan?" Carapace asked.

Rena shook her head and looked at Tikki and Plagg were muttering about sensing them but not seeing them.

Then the blasts stopped and they heard talking, "um, hi."

Rena and Carapace shared a look and then peeked concerned out from behind the sheild to see Emma Agreste looking very nervous talking to MindWipe.

The memory wiping gun was still trained on them so they didn't rush out to help Emma, they wouldn't help anyone to get set back 2 years.

"Are you okay?" Emma asked the villain generally seeming concerned.

The villian raised an eyebrow surprised, "why do you ask?"

"Well, generally erasing 2 years of your life is not a normal thing that people want," Emma starting walking around to stand in between the heroes and the villain, "plus people get akumatized when upset."

Plagg looked over at Emma from behind the shield and opened his mouth as if to yell but bubbles came out again, Rena looked at the surprised then back to the scene in front of her.

"Look, soon the past 2 years will be gone along with any memory of her in my life," the villain monologued.

Emma raised an eyebrow at this, "you know that's not how this works right? Two years still happen whether you want them or not. People change in that time, the world changes too. There's no escaping the way you and the world changed."

As Emma talked Rena noticed Sophie behind the villain placing a skateboard behind them. Sophie's eyes meet Rena and she gave a thumbs up.

Oh. Rena understood now, one look at Carapace told he did too.

"Shield now!"Rena called out.

Emma and Sophie both jumped out of the way as the shield launched threw the air knocking MindWipe down and onto the skateboard. Then force also set the villain rolling down the hill and away from the heroes and teens for now.

Rena sighed in relief as Carapace walked over the girls, "You okay dudettes?"

Emma looked stressed out a little but relaxed as Sophie hugged her smiling, "oh my god! Can't believe that work!"

Rena walked over intending on scolding them for being reckless when Tikki and Plagg flew out from there hiding spots and hugged them excitedly.

"No way.. ." Carapace muttered.
