I ONLY WATCH THE ANIME, DO NOT GIVE ME MANGA SPOILERS.
Okay, I kinda notice that people are confused about the Sokovia Accords. Especially when you guys are saying that they're wrong or make no sense.
But the truth is the Sokovia Accord does have some form of sense.
What people are confused about the Accords is that it prevents Heroes from fighting villains without permission from the government. But this isn't the case.
What the Sokovia Accords does is prevent heroes from violating foreign borders and causing a big mess and face little to no consequences from it. It doesn't mean that if a villain is fighting in their own space, they still need permission, it's just when they're outside of their space it becomes a problem.
To give you an idea, imagine if a police officer from a city decides to do their police duty in another city in another country. Unless higher officials allowed them to do their work in that city, it's outside of their jurisdiction and thus, breaking the law.
The Sokovia Accords is pretty much the Hero equivalent of that concept, and heck, maybe in MHA, they have something like that in the hero laws. After all, they made Hero LICENSES, and we all know that Licenses are only valid in their respective country. You can get a driver license in the US but it doesn't mean you can drive in the UK.
And maybe I might be wrong with this and Licensed heroes in MHA can do their hero work wherever they want, but I don't think it would be like that in the beginning when the laws and the hero program were put in place. This is why I brought up the 'Out-State permission' in the previous chapter. Something they could had at the time but was changed over the years when heroes became more promising and trustworthy.
One more thing, I have now watched Falcon and Winter Soldier and I like it, not going to give anything away, but I do like how they manage to end it and I'm just excited to see where it goes, especially with what happened in this scene. Now we have to wait for Black Widow and Loki, both that I'm excited to watch.
Okay, time to move onto Part 2, hope you enjoy.
00:41:19 - 00:41:31
"Yeah, things can change over the years," one of the students on the red side said. "Bucky you knew might not be there anymore,"
"But there's still hope…" Mirio said.
00:41:31 - 00:41:47
While Steve and Sam talk, Sharon appears and gave Steve a file that could help track down the Bucky.
Some in the audience were a little mixed, but most on the blue side were happy that Sharon is going to help Steve find his friend. Even if he's not allowed to do so.
00:41:47 - 00:42:02
"Considering Bucky's history and the main suspect towards the UN bombing, a kill order sounds reasonable towards the threat." Kurogiri pointed out. "I recall All For One having one. Since he's a very high-rank villain."
"Indeed," All Might said, "but it's always best to capture if possible and I managed to make it possible."
Meanwhile, those who see Bucky being innocent of the bombing felt disgusted by the decision to give Bucky a kill order. Even if there was video evidence, it isn't enough to give full orders to kill Bucky if they have the chance.
This just makes Steve's side more justifiable.
00:42:02 - 00:42:20
The scene changes to show Zemo, in a hotel room, reading the red book, saying the words used on the Winter Soldier in the opening scene.
With what's going on, the audience who see Bucky as innocent believes that Zemo might be the one who bombed the UN.
Even some on the other side consider it.
00:42:20 - 00:42:56
While they look at Zemo getting his breakfast. The camera reveals a strange big object hidden behind the dressing cupboard.
"What is that thing?" Power Loader muttered, "and what is he planning?"
"Whatever it is, it has something to do with Bucky," Todoroki suggested.
00:42:56 - 00:43:23
Speaking of the devil, the next scene shows the words 'Bucharest' showing Bucky, the Winter Soldier, getting plums in a market.
"There he is…" Aizawa said, curious about what he was up to between the time of Winter Solder and this film.
00:43:23 - 00:43:39
"Reasonable reaction for someone who spotted a wanted villain," one of the teachers commented on the guy at a stand, leaving his post and running away from Bucky. "seems the news is spreading."
00:43:39 - 00:43:51
"Of course, he makes the news," Shigaraki said, "now he's getting the attention of a villain. And yet, he's out there casually."
"Maybe there's a reason," Izuku pointed out, who notices how Bucky is reacting towards the newspaper, the green hair student turn to the screen and muttered, "he seems surprised, meaning that he didn't do it, but framed…"
00:43:51 - 00:44:23
The scene then shows Steve in his hero outfit, exploring a room with newspaper boarding up the windows, he notices a book and looked inside it, which had a picture of Captain America inside.
"looks like the information was true." All Might muttered, "and after all this time, he's finally going to meet his old friend again…"
While feeling glad for Steve to find his friend, he knows that it's going to end badly for both of them.
00:44:23 - 00:44:34
"And now, the two meet." All Might sighs.
00:44:34 - 00:44:55
"Well, he did go to the Captain America Exhibit at the end of Winter Soldier," Mina pointed out, "technically he's telling the truth."
00:44:55 - 00:45:13
"Even he agrees," Kurogiri said, noticing Bucky's claim that he wasn't in Vienna.
The audience felt a little uneased towards the scene, with most knowing what has to be done, they wouldn't want to see how such a kill order operation would be done. Seeing the armoured men, worried some of the audience, not just for Bucky's safety, but for Steve's as well.
00:45:13 - 00:45:33
"Unfortunately, there isn't going to be enough time to explain," Nezu said, hearing Sam warnings to Steve. "the ambush is about to begin…"
00:45:33 - 00:45:55
The following fight showed the armoured forces attacking the Winter Soldier, the action being shown, with Bucky attacking the broke in men while kicking a table to keep the door on hold, Steve meanwhile kept Bucky alive by pulling an armed man away before he could shoot the Winter Soldier.
There was a whole bunch of mix towards this scene, they would originally root for Captain America since he has proven time and time again as a great hero.
But this scene felt very different, he wasn't fighting against Hydra, nor villains, nor corrupted agents, he was fighting against officials who are tasked by the government to take out his best friend, who has evidence that he caused the bombings. This would be like if a pro hero starts fighting against police officers, it doesn't feel right.
Not everyone had that feeling though, as some in the blue side know that what Steve is doing is right.
00:45:55 - 00:46:06
"Did he throw a bag onto another building?" Iida questions Bucky's actions.
"He did," Kirishima said, "it would be very manly if he jumps over there!"
00:46:06 - 00:47:31
The following scene was both the Winter Soldier and Captain America fighting heavily armoured and armed forces down a stairway, with the Winter Soldier catching them by surprise and show very impressive fighting skills, even the heroes who trained in martial arts are amazed by his moves in a tight space and how he used his surroundings to get him through the forces.
Captain America meanwhile catch up with Bucky, he too fought against the armed forces, now proving that he is fighting against the government just to save Bucky, but not killing them as Steve managed to save one of the armed forces that Bucky threw into the middle hole.
"You were saying about 'not killing anyone?'" Aizawa commented, relieved that Steve managed to save the armed man who would have fallen to his death if Steve didn't catch him.
Up until Bucky made a quick getaway jumping into the hole and grabbing onto one of the floors below the climbing guards.
00:47:31 - 00:47:39
"And now he's manly," Kirishima cheered, "even if Bucky is a suspect, I can't deny that he made an awesome move."
"What's so awesome about jumping onto another building?" Sero was confused, "I can get from one building to another with my quirk.
"Same with my frog jumps, ribbit," Asui added.
"And mine with my explosions," Bakugo said.
"Might not be impressive to you high jumpers, but for strong wield men, that's what counts."
"Right on!" Tetsutetsu shouted.
"But you know that Bucky is getting away," Asui pointed out.
00:47:39 - 00:47:44
Suddenly, a new figure appeared and catch up with the Winter Soldier, catching everyone by surprise.
"Who's this now?" Denki asked.
00:47:44 - 00:47:47
Answering the electric student, the scene shows a shot of the figure, who wore a full black bodysuit with features of a cat, letting out his claws to fight the Winter Soldier.
"A new hero!" Midoriya said, both surprised and excited to see another new hero in this reality, he spoke as he makes a new page for this hero "and an animal hero at that, having an appearance of a cat."
"Or a panther," Momo suggested.
Meanwhile, Nezu turn to look at the loud hero, "are you going to announce this hero?" he asked.
"Sorry, the cards are blank," Present Mic said, showing off the blank card.
Overall, it's someone new and everyone gets ready to see what this hero is capable of.
00:47:47 - 00:48:02
The scene shows the action of this new panther, as he fights against the Winter Soldier, unlike the armed forces who were getting their ass kicked, this new hero holds his own and became a dangerous foe that Bucky had to face.
"Now Bucky is struggling against this guy," All Might said. "whoever he is…"
00:48:02 - 00:48:15
"and we all know that Steve Rogers is the manliest man that could ever man!" Kirishima said, pumped from seeing Steve jumping off the rooftop as a helicopter appears on the scene.
00:48:15 - 00:48:24
"What!" Mineta shouted, watching the helicopter shooting at the two Bucky and the new hero, but shocked from how the shots impacted the new hero, "not even bullets can kill him, what is that suit made out of!?"
"That is what I want to know too," Hatsume said, excited to see a seemingly lightweight suit being able to hold against gunfire. Though the previous film showed bulletproof suits, it still excited her.
00:48:24 - 00:48:48
After the students were amazed by Falcon's dropkicking a helicopter, Bucky attempt to flee from the new cat hero, but ending up being chased,
"He is not giving up on the Winter Soldier," Aizawa said, just when Steve caught up and start chasing the two.
00:48:48 - 00:50:04
The following scene was an entire chase in a streetway, the Winter Soldier managing to run as fast as he can away from the new hero while Steve has some trouble catching up, then a car appears ordering Steve to stand down, Steve ended up taking the car.
"And grand theft auto is added to the crimes Steve have committed so far…" Aizawa said, still watching the chase.
As the chase continues and the hero managed to grab hold of the car, just when more official cars begin chasing the three.
It was an intense chase scene, more intense than the Hulk Chase scene in the second film, as a lot was going on and many involvements of cars. Certainly, something that gotten everyone at the edge of their seat, unsure who to root for.
00:50:04 - 00:50:13
"Okay, that was cool," Kirishima admitted, "I know it's wrong since he's stealing a bike, but how he did it was so manly!"
00:50:13 - 00:51:08
More car chasing ensues, with the cat hero trying to catch Bucky on the bike, as Steve drives towards him, and right when Falcon enters the chase, the new hero catches Falcon by the legs all to get towards Bucky, who throws a bomb that detonated to cover Steve's tracks, only for Falcon to throw the cat hero towards Bucky, ending the chase with everyone being in an open space and Steve tackling the new hero before he could attack the downed Bucky.
00:51:08 - 00:51:28
And thus, the chase was over.
More police cars enter the scene, surrounding the four, even War Machine enters to stop the fighting.
"Looks like they have no choice," All Might sighs, seeing the armed forces managing to catch the four.
00:51:28 - 00:51:32
The words of Rhody was rather a great definition of what Steve has become, at least for most of the red side, the rest found it hard to accept those words.
'Congratulations Cap, you're a criminal.'
"This was like the Winter Soldier film all over again," Uraraka said, still processing those words, "but this time… it felt… a little different."
"Yeah," Asui admitted, "before, it was due to S.H.I.E.L.D being compromised by Hydra, who made Steve a fugitive. But this isn't because the government is compromised, it's not because there's something wrong with the government, it's because Steve cannot accept the government rules, he broke the rules and that makes him a villain, not a hero…"
Admittedly, Asui always speaks to what she thinks, and when she said those words, she felt a sense of guilt, remembering when she said a similar statement to her friends, as much as she wants her friends to be safe, she would always follow the rules. Because that's what heroes do. They follow the law, help people and keep everything from going into chaos.
And yet, what she said felt so wrong to call Captain America a villain, after everything he did.
"He didn't sign the accords and didn't accept the new hero age, just like many pre-license vigilantes when the hero laws were set in place." All Might said remembering a bit of history that he learned during his time at the States, "there would have been names of heroes who might have saved many lives and possibly the world if not for their actions, but they're long forgotten because they don't accept the new laws or part of the hero program. That's an unfortunate truth."
All Might felt pity towards the Captain, who is going to be arrested by government officials, even if he saved millions of lives a handful of times, he ended up becoming a wanted criminal for doing the right thing and be a hero.
In the end, there was a huge mix towards the crowd, the teachers, the villains and some students accepted that Captain America is a criminal, while a few some, all in the blue side, while accepted Steve as a vigilante, believed that he did what was right, and he still more of a hero than any hero in this reality.
00:51:32 - 00:51:50
While, Bucky, Steve and Falcon are getting arrested, the new hero deactivates his claws and removed his mask, revealing a familiar face.
"T'Challa!" most of the students shouted.
"He's the new hero?" Denki said, surprised by the reveal.
"I guess he wasn't exaggerating when he said that he'll kill Bucky." Iida said. "never thought he would have his own hero suit and abilities."
"T'Challa!" Present Mic announces, "otherwise known as the Black Panther, he dawns the Black Panther suit, made entirely out of Vibranium, it's a mantle worn by generations of Black Panthers, warriors fully sworn to protect Wakanda from threats!"
"So he's supposed to be a mantle hero," Midoriya said, already writing down information about the Black Panther.
Out of everyone who found the Black Panther interesting, Iida stood out, remembering how he's from a family line of heroes and one of the reasons why he's so determined to become a hero, he never encounters or knows any other family line of heroes. happy to know that there's one in this reality, it wasn't just a mantle for the family, but for a country, especially since T'Challa is the prince of Wakanda, potentially the rightful heir to the throne due to his father's passing. It was interesting to know that there is a royal family line of heroes who has a sworn duty to protect their country.
00:51:50 - 00:52:09
After all the chasing, the scene changes to a calmer moment where Vision is learning how to cook.
This was a little confusing for the audience as they remember that Vision is a robot, so they wonder why he's cooking.
00:52:09 - 00:52:40
"Okay, so he tried to cook for Wanda," Momo said, with the scene clearing out the confusion.
"And we know that he doesn't need to eat, even if it's obvious, it's still something to note," Midoriya pointed out while writing it on his notes.
00:52:40 - 00:53:03
"A what?" Nejire asked, along with other students who find Vision's words to be weird, being a robot, also mean he used complex words that are hard to understand.
"An amygdala," Momo said, "is a certain part of our brain, thought to have the role of emotions and behaviour."
"In short, Vision is telling Wanda that people can't help but be afraid of her due to their amygdala alerting them to fear Wanda and her powers, just how people can be afraid when a villain attacks."
"Or how people judge others I assume," Toga interrupted.
"Correct," Nezu agreed with the vampire villain, "thought the human brain isn't fully explored, all of this is just simply an idea of how it works and an explanation of our emotions."
00:53:03 - 00:53:25
Looking at this scene and what Wanda said, Toga couldn't help but take a deep sigh.
"I can relate with you very well," she gave an honest smile, remembering when she discovered her quirk, and how it showed a different side of her, but still think it's herself, just something that others don't accept because of how dangerous and frightening it was.
Just like Wanda, Toga lives in a world where being herself makes her villainous. She only hopes that for Wanda, she can able be herself since the heroes managed to accepted and help her with her problems.
But hearing about the Sokovia Accords, she knows that it's Wanda will go downhill.
00:53:03 - 00:53:57
"Controlling the power is always the first step to be a hero," Aizawa said, remembering how Midoriya struggled to control his power but managed to have a sense of control in his time at U.A. The students heard their teacher and nodded in agreement, Shinso even agreed, remembering how he managed to control his quirk.
"And for some, controlling the power seems to be the only way to be a regular person," Toga muttered as she grabs her soda cup of blood and drank it through a straw.
00:53:57 - 00:54:12
With Vision's actions, most of the audience notices something strange from the wielder of the mind stone.
"What is he doing?" Kirishima noticed.
00:54:12 - 00:54:45
"Isn't that violating her rights to leave?" Uraraka questions Stark's and Vision' choice to keep Wanda inside.
"Laying low until the Accords are formed is a good choice," Midnight said, "the incident would have made her seem like a threat, so keeping her away from public eyes would be wise, and when it's fully formed, she can sign it and give trust to the public."
"But does she have to stay inside?" Uraraka asked.
"It lowers the risk, unfortunately," Nezu said, seeing the point of Stark's decision.
"But what if she doesn't sign the accords?" Nejire pointed out, "she still hasn't decided."
"Then she can't be a hero," Tamaki said to his friend, pointing out the obvious.
Meanwhile for Mina, while she questions Vision's decision to keep Wanda inside, the last lines gave her a spark in her mind.
"Did I encounter another match?" she mutters to herself, already thinking of shipping Wanda with Vision.
00:54:45 - 00:55:16
The scene shows Berlin where police transport is on the road, showing the Winter Soldier in captivity as he's being taken away.
There wasn't much to talk about, as it shows the aftermath of the chase, but they are curious about what they're going to do with Steve, Sam and T'Challa.
00:55:16 - 00:55:23
"Said the guy who wears Falcon wings." Monoma comment on Sam asking about T'Challa dressing up like a cat.
00:55:23 - 00:55:58
"Sounds like a serious threat," All Might sighed. He explained about the Black Panther is already explained by Present Mic, so not much to talk about.
Iida can see what T'Challa is going through, as he felt that anger towards the Hero Killer Stain, though a little confused since the killer is now captured. Justice is about to get served.
"Unless…" Iida takes another breath, clicking the pieces together, "he's planning to kill Bucky, captured or not… he's deep in his vengeance…"
00:55:58 - 00:56:29
"As if a lawyer ever helps," Kurogiri said, watching the scene where Steve and Falcon are taken to a facility where they're explained what's going to happen to them and Bucky.
00:56:29 - 00:56:51
"Though they broke the law, at least they're getting better treatment due to their hero status and the things they've done," Nezu said, seeing that an office would be a good place for the captured heroes to be in instead of a prison cell.
00:56:51 - 00:56:56
"Exactly, Captain America" Twice point a finger up, "if the Captain did not do anything, then the soldier would have killed Bucky! Poor Bucky, Bucky's alive you idiot!"
"Bucky might be alive, but at the cost of several damages that would have been prevented if not for Steve's actions," one of the teachers said, "not to mention he wouldn't be arrested."
00:56:56 - 00:57:11
"Sounds like Stark is taking the news very seriously," one of the teachers said, as Stark appears, calling on a phone, "probably didn't like what Steve did and trying his best to solve the problem."
00:57:11 - 00:57:22
"Make sense at the time," Nezu said when Romanoff mentioned that Steve's shield and Falcon's wings are property of the government."
"Wait, doesn't the ownership of the gear belong to the wielder or inventor?" Hatsume, being a support student, wanted to ask.
"In the terms of our reality, it's a little complicated." Power Loader tries to explain, "the property of a support gear can be own by a different variety of parties, the Pro Heroes, the company that manufactures them, the support inventor, the government, it just depends on the circumstances."
00:57:22 - 00:57:40
The scene makes a sudden change showing a man in a vehicle, going towards a power grid and looking at a clipboard.
Though unsure of what's going on, a few grew suspicious towards the scene as it hints something bad is going to happen and it has something to do with the power grid.
00:57:40 - 00:57:48
Cutting back to Bucky, it showed him still in his cell, as men plug-in power to ensure that he's trapped inside.
"Giving him the Tartarus treatment." One of the teachers said, "though not the same, it is a little similar and reasonable since he's a danger to society."
"And he won't be hurting anyone else anymore," Midnight added.
00:57:48 - 00:58:13
"Sorry, I don't know much of American history, but what is this… Lend-lease bill?" Nejire asked.
"He's talking about the Lend-lease act," All Might said, trying to remember one of the history lessons he barely recalled during his time at the state, "it was an act when the US gave supplies over at Europe, and just as Steve said, it gotten America involved in the war and some say that it got them closer to war."
"Oh yeah…" Midoriya said, "and it was Pearl Harbor that brought them to war."
Everyone suddenly turns to Midoriya with negative faces to him.
Midoriya blinked, realizing his mistake, "sorry… for bringing that up…"
00:58:13 - 00:58:29
"That's what I want to know," Mina said when Steve mentioned Pepper.
"I doubt it, ribbit," Asui said, "she's likely too busy running Stark Industries."
00:58:29 - 00:58:36
Mina's eyes widen when she heard Steve said 'pregnant'.
00:58:36 - 00:58:39
"A… break…" the pink student stuttered hearing that Stark and Potts is 'taking a break.' Having somewhat a bad feeling that their relationship isn't going well if it has a break.
00:58:39 - 00:59:05
"That… is pretty much reasonable," Momo said. All while Mina felt a little relieved that there was a reason for Stark's break with Potts.
"Indeed," Midnight added, "when you become a hero, it would be difficult to balance your hero work with your sex life, especially when you're in danger in every corner."
"But that doesn't mean you stay alone," All Might pointed out, "just knowing the risks and still find a relationship is still a good thing, just have to be cautious and Stark is very well aware of his situation, so a break between them would be reasonable."
"Well…" Mina feels a little happy after hearing her teachers, "at least they're still together…"
00:59:05 - 00:59:16
"Probably because he wasn't Iron Man," Dabi said.
00:59:16 - 00:59:47
"That's pretty much what Steve is really," Sero said, "someone who would be willing to run into the fire just to save lives, no matter what happens to them."
"Yeah, kinda like All Might," Spinner said, "Steve cannot ignore a problem, he will always find a way to help and save lives, even if he breaks the law, that's what makes it a true hero, more true than any hero in the MCU, more true than anyone in this room. In fact, he might even be on par with All Might"
"Except that All Might would never break the law." Iida pointed out.
"Laws are just rules made up by people, but justice comes from doing what's right for one."
"And again, that's just the mindset of a vigilante." Iida attempted to argue back. "are you saying that Heroes should ignore the law and break rules just because it's 'the right thing,' in that sort of mindset, it would only make them no better than the villains."
"I'm not saying heroes should ignore the law," Spinner defended, "I'm saying that the law shouldn't stop heroes from saving people."
"And just that assuming that the law prevents heroes from saving people."
"If I was just assuming, then why is there a blue side?" the Stain fan pointed out, "everyone on this side is much more of a true hero than any of you false heroes over there. Even All Might and Midoriya are on this side."
"That doesn't illustrate your point, villain," Iida counters, "laws and rules are there for a reason and as heroes who represent all that is good, we must go by the book no matter what, I am not going to make the same mistakes again!"
After that, Spinner stayed silent, knowing that if he continues, Iida would counter his argument. They all agreed to continue watching the film.
00:59:47 - 01:00:15
Hearing Stark, some of the blue side realized what's going on.
"Stark is trying to get Steve to sign the Accords…" Midoriya said, curious to see how it goes and if he managed to convince him.
He can tell that Steve is considering that idea when he picked up the pen.
01:00:15- 01:00:23
"I guess safeguards of the Sokovia Accords can be possible," All Might said, "there can be exceptions if there is a serious danger."
"That's right All Might," Nezu said, "even if the Accords are unfair now, it's only a law and laws can change over time, after all, Pro Heroes would be completely different and restrained if the hero and quirk laws never changed."
01:00:23 - 01:00:43
"Oh no," one of the students on the red side said when Stark brought up Wanda.
"At the moment of grasp, a slight unfortunate made a slip," Tokoyami said.
01:00:43 - 01:00:58
"And there's goes the convincing," Kurogiri said, knowing that Steve isn't going to agree with the accords knowing that Wanda isn't getting a good deal out of it.
"Steve, is it really a bad thing?" Nezu said, questioning the American hero.
"Of course," Toga replied, "it's locking someone up and preventing their right to leave, it doesn't matter if it's a fancy building with a screening room, a prison is a prison."
"But its safeguards to prevent her from causing issues," Aizawa said.
"But as Steve said, she's just a kid," Toga argues back.
"Yeah, a kid with a dangerous quirk," Aizawa counters, "having her quarantined until she can properly control her powers is the best option for her, which is also the same reason why we kept Eri on school grounds."
Hearing this, Toga couldn't help but laugh at the news and similarities, "wait, so you're telling me that Eri can't leave U.A? you're telling me that what Stark is doing to Wanda, you are doing the same thing to that little girl over there?"
Aizawa sighed, regretting giving information to the League of Villains, now fearing that they might plan to kidnap her. Since it's out there and to justify their decision, she has to explain, "she can't leave the grounds, not until she learns to control her quirk."
"And what if she doesn't?" Toga brings up a question.
"Well… she would," Mirio interrupted, "U.A is the best place for heroes to improve their quirks, so helping a child controlling their quirk would help."
"You still didn't answer my question," Toga talks back at one of the big three, "what if she failed, what if there's no way of controlling her quirk?"
"If that ever happens, unlikely as it is, then she would most likely transfer to a facility that could help her better."
"So… another prison?"
"That's not…" Aizawa sighed, knowing that he can't convince a villain to his point.
"Well, she's just a child and it's for her own safety," Mirio pointed out, trying to brighten up the mood, "besides, we don't have to worry about that, thanks to FWM, Eri managed to control her quirk better, isn't that right Eri?"
The boy turns to see Eri, only see the little girl having a cross face, both her arms clutch after hearing both sides, instead of looking happy at the boy who saved her, she turns away from him when he looked at her.
Perhaps having this conversation with Eri around would make her upset, hearing what would have happened would likely hurt her feelings.
"I'm sorry for you to hear that." Mirio notices her expression and attempts to apologise.
"No…" Eri spoke, "it's fine… I understand…" she turns her head, not looking at Mirio but back at the screen.
01:00:58 - 01:01:13
"You almost had him," Tokoyami said as Steve place the pen back on the table, "but unfortunately, he's not going to sign the accords."
"Yeah," Kirishima said, "at this point, you can't convince Steve to sign the Accords."
"But at least he tried," the bird student said. "a vain attempt, but still an attempt."
01:01:13 - 01:01:26
After Steve and Tony's talk, the scene shows screens with someone at Bucky's cell claiming that he's there to evaluate Barnes.
"Evaluate? Why does he need to be evaluated?" one of the students asked.
"It's to see just how dangerous Bucky is." Nezu answered, "sometimes a villain' action isn't by purposeful needs but due to their mental health, it's something to take note of before deciding his sentence."
01:01:26 - 01:01:51
"At least Steve gets to see his friend during his evaluation," Uraraka said as Sharon allowed access to watch the camera to the Winter Soldier's holding cell.
01:01:51 - 01:02:32
The scene cuts back at the man at the power grid, revealing that he was a delivery man, assigned to deliver a crate to someone at the power grid
"I don't like where this is going…" Aizawa said, even more, suspicious towards the box. But still wondering how it's going to connect with the heroes.
01:02:32 - 01:02:52
Cutting back to Steve, he brought out a possible idea that Izuku quickly agrees with. Saying that Bucky was framed and whoever bombed the UN done it to get him out of hiding.
This cause many thoughts thinking for the audience, and slowly, they started to see the possibility being true.
"I think Cap is onto something," Aizawa said, "while I focus mostly on Barnes being the culprit, there was a possibility that he was being framed."
"That I agree," All Might said, "Bucky has no grudge against the UN, I did find it strange that he would do it,"
"And they're right about putting out the word, the same strategy we have to ensure capture of wanted fugitives who committed a publicly known tragedy. possibly the real culprit took that strategy for his advantage."
"So, you're saying that Bucky is innocent?" Mirio asked the 1-A teacher.
"Of the UN bombing, maybe," Aizawa said, "but he's still guilty for his previous crimes, his capture is still necessary."
01:02:52 - 01:03:12
"That's right," one of the teachers said, "but again, it would bring attention."
"if Steve is right about Bucky being frame, there would be one fatal flaw to their plan," Momo pointed out, "that being Bucky being captured, meaning that whoever bombed the UN wouldn't be able to pass the tight high security that imprisoned Bucky."
"Unless…" Midoriya said before the scene gave a surprising reveal.
01:03:12 - 01:03:36
"The culprit is already there…" Midoriya said, just when the films reveals that the guy who's evaluating the Winter Soldier turns out to be Zemo.
"Huh," Aizawa said, "it seems that Steve is right about Bucky's framing."
All of the sudden, everyone was worried about what's going to happen next, especially when Zemo was notified that his package has been delivered.
01:03:36 - 01:03:59
Cutting back to the power grid, the man at the station opens up the crate, which contains the strange device that was hinted earlier at Zemo's hotel room.
"Wait, is that a…"
But before Midoriya could finish, the device detonated, causing a big shockwave that causes multiple explosions on the power grid's wire, causing the city to lose its powers and the facility that kept the wanted heroes went dark.
"It was an EMP!" Midoriya said, "now it's coming together, Zemo planned all of this, he got Bucky captured, he somehow disguised himself as an evaluator and at the right moment, make the facility lose power so he wouldn't be seen or become suspicious."
"But why?" Asui questions Zemo's actions, "why is he doing all this to get close to the Winter Soldier?"
"That's what I want to know Asui…"
"Tsu," the frog reminds the forgetful green hair student.
"Sorry, that's what I want to know… Tsu…"
01:03:59 - 01:04:12
"She seriously gave restricted information to the heroes who broke the law?" one of the teachers questions Sheron's decision, which caused Steve and Sam to rush out of their office.
"At least she's helping them," Uraraka said, "plus Bucky is Steve's friend and he's in trouble."
"and you know Steve can't ignore a problem, ribbit," Asui added.
01:04:12 - 01:04:27
"The book." One of the students yells as Zemo pulls out the book with a black star.
One glance at the book and the remainder of the opening scene made everything come together.
"He's going to control the Winter Soldier," Mirio said, already expecting what's going to happen.
01:04:27 - 01:05:30
The following scene was a sight to behold, with Zemo reading the book and saying the words in Russian while Bucky stresses out, attempting to free himself from his cell, but just when he opened the doors, Zemo said the last words of the codeword that controls the Winter Soldier.
In the end, the villain managed to control Bucky as he was ready to get orders.
"That's just frightening…" Kirishima said, "can you imagine that happening to anyone, being able to control them?"
"Are you serious?" Shinso said.
"Oh right, forgot about your quirk." The red hair student apologized to the general student.
"Well mine only works if I wanted to use it and all it takes to activate it is for someone to talk back to me," Shinso explained his quirk, "but this is something different, like the girl said at the start, anyone says those words and Bucky becomes a slave to them."
"And for this case, Zemo has the Winter Soldier at his command," Shigaraki said, "now what is he going to do with him?"
01:05:30 - 01:05:36
"Huh?" the leader of the League of Villains raise a brow when Zemo told Bucky about a mission report that happened in 1991. "So he did all of that just to know what that mission report is all about?"
"Who knows, Shigaraki," Kurogiri said, "maybe that report has vital information that could change many things if it gets leaked, hopefully, it would be worth it"
"Has to be worth it," Dabi points out, "it's been mentioned many times in this film, so it does have importance."
01:05:36 - 01:05:53
When Steve and Sam enters the scene, it revealed unconscious bodies of guards, along with Zemo, pretending that he was injured
"Perfect deception for the villain," All Might said, "since Zemo isn't known and he covered his tracks, he can easily play the victim."
"It's convincing for government officials," Aizawa points out, "but I think Steve can see through the lies."
01:05:53 - 01:06:02
Just as Aizawa predicts, Steve grabbed Zemo, not seeing him as a victim and start questioning him. Zemo's only response was, "to see an empire fall."
"Another 'change society' nutcase," one of the teachers sighs, turning to see the League of Villains who took offence from the comment.
"Okay, Zemo is there," Toga said, "but where's…"
01:06:02 - 01:06:09
Just on cue, the Winter Soldier appeared, attacking Sam and throwing him towards his broken cell.
"There he is," Toga pointed out, "and now that Hydra brainwashing has taken over."
And thus, the Winter Soldier rampage begins.
01:06:09 - 01:06:26
The Winter Soldier attacks, Steve, the Captain tried to dodge the best he could, only for him to get knocked out into an elevator.
"Geez!" Uraraka shouted, "what is going on with him?"
"Have you not paid attention round face?" Bakugo shouted, "Zemo brainwashed Bucky he has no control over his actions,"
"Agree with the angry boy," Shinso said.
"Shut up you general trash!" Bakugo shouted at the sighing general student, if he had his quirk back, he would have used it on Bakugo to keep him quiet.
"Anyway, this is going to bring a huge bad image towards him, it reminds me of a suggestion someone told me at my old school."
"What suggestion?" Midoriya asked, getting his notes ready.
"It's one of those stupid villain plan suggestions that students kept telling me because I have a villainous quirk," Shinso explained, "one of them is that I would make regular innocent civilians go on a villain rampage and tell them that I don't exist, that way said civilian would be label as a villain and I would get away with it."
Hearing this, everyone was surprised to hear a somewhat frightening suggestion that Shinso could have done had he went onto a villain plan, even Shigaraki take a mental note of the capabilities of his quirk.
"But I'm not like that, and it's overall stupid, there are no benefits on doing that."
"Maybe to get rid of someone or have the world against them…" Shigaraki mumbles.
"Okay, so what's the point of you mentioning this?" Kirishima asked.
"Well, for one, Zemo managed to brainwash Bucky into attacking anyone, and because nobody knew that he was being brainwashed, then every death, every damage, every law broken is all on him."
The principal of U.A sighs from hearing from one of his students from the general course, " as much as I want to deny it, it's true." He admits, "if they knew that Zemo brainwashed him, it would be a different story and everything would be on the controller since Bucky would be more of a victim than an associate."
"But if that's the case, doesn't that mean Bucky is completely innocent of everything he did?" Uraraka asked.
"That's a whole another topic," Nezu said, feeling that this conversation is being too long, "how about we watch what happens and I'll explain it to you later."
01:06:26 - 01:06:52
"Wouldn't expect him to have his suit," Power Loader said, watching everyone trying to resolve the problem while Stark and Romanoff is leaving the office, "then again, heroes have to ensure that they can able to not rely much on their costume and gear."
01:06:52 - 01:07:11
While Steve climbs up the elevator and Sam is chasing Zemo, the scene shows the Winter Soldier attacking guards while Stark sneaks up to him.
"Okay, time to see how he can deal with the Winter Soldier with no gear." Hatsume said, "but I doubt he doesn't have any, just like the briefcase, he could have anything at hand."
01:07:11 - 01:07:19
"Like a watch that turns into a glove that acts as one of his arm cannons!" Hatsume cheered, excited to see such advanced tech from the great inventor himself, giving her more inspiration for her future projects.
01:07:19 - 01:07:25
"Eeek!" the support girl was jumped when Bucky shot his gun at Stark, only the glove managed to stop the bullet from killing him.
"He was about to kill him!" Uraraka shouted, frightened along with the rest of the students.
01:07:25 - 01:07:45
Though managed to disarm the gun, Stark was knocked out in the fight, just when Sharon and Natasha entered the fight.
"Go, girls!" Mina cheered on, "beat him!"
But her cheers turn into fear, as the Winter Soldier managed to knock Sharon out and hold Romanoff by the neck.
01:07:45 - 01:07:57
And after that, T'Challa enters the fight, managing to hold against his own but once again knocked back while Bucky tries to run away.
"How many heroes does it take to take down this guy!" Kirishima shouted. "and I thought his fight with Steve was bad enough!"
01:07:57 - 01:08:04
"That was fast!" Denki shouted, seeing the Black Panther managing to keep up with Bucky, that he was way ahead of him, jumping down. "does he have a speed quirk or something."
"Probably just very acrobatic" Izuku suggested.
"Maybe, but I don't think even an acrobatic person can climb above and jump down before Bucky reached the top of the stairs." Momo pointed out a problem.
"then I don't know, maybe he has some sort of quirk or something," Izuku said, writing down the possibility on his notes with a question mark.
01:08:04 - 01:08:23
More fighting ensues, with both of them falling down the stairs and T'Challa kicking Bucky off the edge.
There wasn't much, just enjoyment of seeing the two fight. Those interested in close combat notice interesting points of the Black Panther's fighting style.
01:08:23 - 01:08:28
"Okay seriously, how can people move so fast that they disappear without a trace?" Denki questions more of this film."
"Hero or villain, they have to move their feet to ensure their advantage," Aizawa said.
01:08:28 - 01:08:40
The scene cuts to show Sam, appearing at the exit of the building, where civilians are running away from the scene. The audience does see this as usual behaviour when a powerful villain makes an attack and the innocent have to flee for their safety.
But something of note is the jacket on the floor, a huge indication that Zemo blends in with the crowd and got away.
"So much for proving Bucky's innocence," Kurogiri muttered.
01:08:40 - 01:08:51
The following scene shows where Bucky was, walking and entering into a police helicopter, preparing to take off.
"trying to fled the scene in the air," one of the teachers said.
01:08:51 - 01:09:09
Just then, Steve appears, grabbing onto the Helicopter before I went away, trying to keep hold to keep his brainwashed friend from escaping.
Everyone was eyes wide seeing this scene.
"Is he really going to do this!" Tetsutetsu shouted.
01:09:09 - 01:09:28
"HE IS!" both Kirishima and Tetsutetsu scream in sync, as Steve managed to keep hold of the helicopter as he grips on both the helicopter rails and the edge rails of the landing platform.
The two continued talking in sync, "the strength, the strange hold, the pulling muscles and way he flexes, and he managed to keep hold! He is so MANLY!"
Meanwhile, the girls couldn't help but stare at Steve's body, they knew that they are strong and they reacted before when he turned buffed the first time, but this just shows off his strength and in a very muscular pose that made Midnight lick her lips.
"No fair…" Mineta felt jealous after seeing the girls aweing at the Captain, "wish that I have those muscles…"
"What was that?" Asui asked the purple student.
"NOTHING!" he shouted, due to what happened to him while watching the previous film, he feared his perverted behaviour.
(and for those who haven't read 'MHA watches The Incredibles, and don't care to read that, 'SPOILER ALERT' I stabbed him in the eye.)
01:09:28 - 01:09:41
The strength was completely worth it, as the Helicopter was brought down, with Steve dodging both the crash and the flying blades upon impact.
"At least he kept him from losing him," Mina said, still in wonder of Steve's flexing muscles.
01:09:41- 01:09:48
"And of course, he does that." Shigaraki said just when the Winter Soldier made a move that jumped most of the audience away and grab Steve by the neck. "he's still brainwashed."
01:09:48 - 01:10:07
Because of the weight, the audience expects the Helicopter to fall down onto the water ground, though it freed Steve from being held by the neck, it, unfortunately, knocked out.
"I know where this is going…" Tokoyami said, seeing the wide shot of the fallen helicopter into the river.
01:10:07 - 01:10:18
At the end of the Winter Soldier's rampage, everyone was in relief when Steve managed to get Bucky out of the helicopter and out of the water.
"Just as how Bucky saved Steve, he does the same for him." All Might smiled, "he's with him till the end of the line…"
01:10:18 - 01:10:32
The scene cuts to show Zemo at a public place, on the phone listening to someone.
They were a little unsure who's calling or if they're talking about what he did, this made some of them curious about the caller.
01:10:32 - 01:10:52
"Looks like he's going to Russia," Momo said, seeing Zemo about to board a plane that's going to Moscow.
"Since the Winter Soldier came from Russia and the book is in Russian, I would guess something important would be there and Zemo knows the location to what he's looking for." One of the teachers suggests.
01:10:52 - 01:11:06
"Smart move," Kurogiri comments on the shown scene where Bucky wakes up with a clamp trapping his metal arm. "in case he's still brainwashed, it's better to keep his hold so he wouldn't try to escape for attack his former friend.
01:11:06 - 01:11:39
"Good, Bucky's back to normal." Izuku smiled, glad that he's not being controlled, "at least normal as he can be…"
"Newspaper in shoes… seriously?" one of the students questions Steve's logic in his younger years.
01:11:39 - 01:11:59
"Though he doesn't know who he was or why he asks, it is important to tell what he asked, that's still important information," Aizawa said.
01:11:59 - 01:12:20
From Bucky's answer, the audience froze, hearing that Bucky wasn't the only Winter Soldier.
"There's… others?" Midoriya spoke, getting his notes ready, preparing for frightening news.
As well as everyone, especially the teachers and villains.
01:12:20 - 01:12:54
The next scene brings back the car crash incident that Bucky as the Winter Soldier did in 1991, ending it with the blue packets that were revealed in the opening scene.
"Looks like they have importance after all," Todoroki comments.
01:12:54 - 01:14:20
What showed was a horror to behold, revealing the blue packets being used on people, the audience watched, with some student frightened as one of them was screaming in pain while he was locked up in a cell.
And later, it became troublesome when one of them managed to knock the Winter Soldier and beat him in a fight, right until they lashed out and attack the guards.
"So, there are more Winter Soldiers that are… stronger and… deadlier than Bucky?" Uraraka said, shaken from the thought.
"It seems to be." Nezu answered. "now this is getting interesting and we have finally gotten a few answers."
01:14:20 - 01:14:47
Hearing this from Bucky, the audience didn't believe what they're hearing, that these elite Winter Soldiers are capable of taking down an entire country in one night.
"And I thought Nomus were tough." All Might said, "these sound much worse."
"Well… technically a Nomu would be stronger than these elites," Kurogiri said, "it's just that most Nomus are mindless monsters with little intelligence but to destroy. These guys sound more like effective infiltrators."
"Yeah, I think All Might in his prime could easily take down these guys," Kirishima said.
"Of course," Asui agrees, "but we have to think about their world, ribbit, a world where the majority are quirkless."
"Well either way, at least we know what Zemo is planning," Midoriya said, "it sounds that he's going to find these soldiers and brainwash them to make the world collapse."
"Then he needs to be stopped," Uraraka said with everyone agreeing with her.
01:14:47 - 01:14:57
"I mean, Bucky did say what Zemo did and what he's going to do, why not call other heroes to help?" Nejire asked, resulting in multiple sighs from some students and teachers.
"Because they're not going to help Bucky," Aizawa said.
"Why not?" one of the big three questions.
"Perhaps it's time to talk about what I meant about Shinso's example," Nezu said, getting ready to give a full explanation. "Remember what I said about how easy it is for Shinso to manipulate innocent civilians and get away with it?"
"Yeah."
"Well, the case for Bucky is somewhat similar. From what the government know, Bucky is still the main suspect to the UN bombing, and after this incident where he escapes from capture, it would make him a fugitive along with Steve and Sam who aided him."
"But they aided him because they know that Bucky is innocent," Kirishima added.
"Indeed, they know, but Stark, Ross, and the other officials didn't know, and because Zemo escaped, there isn't enough evidence to prove that Bucky wasn't the cause of the bombing until Zemo confesses or if there's clear evidence that he was the cause, Bucky will remain the suspect of the crime."
"In other words, Steve, Sam and Bucky are guilty until proven innocent," Aizawa said.
"But that's unfair!" Uraraka cried.
"It is," the 1-A teacher said, "but that's just how it works, and honestly if I wasn't suspected towards Bucky's intentions if I didn't know about Zemo, I would be convinced that Bucky was responsible."
From this, the audience felt a little mixed towards this concept.
If someone with a villainous history was accused of a crime they didn't commit and if they didn't know who cause the crime, then most likely they would arrest the accuser because there isn't enough evidence of the real committer.
Because of this, everyone had mixed feelings, with most on the blue side completely disagreeing with this while most on the red side are aware of it and would feel that they would end up doing it if they didn't know.
And because of this, there was a divide towards the audience. Though the film shows most of Steve's side, there wasn't much to prove that the red side would win.
Earlier, most agreed with the red side about the Accords, but now the blue had taken over because they know the government isn't going to help Captain America now that he's a wanted criminal.
01:14:57 - 01:15:06
"Wait what is he talking about?" one of the students asked. Now curious about who this 'guy is.
(Yes I know this scene is supposed from the teaser that Ant-Man will appear in Civil War, but it's better to see how they're going to see him coming out of the van without knowing that he would make an appearance.)
01:15:06 - 01:15:26
From the changing scene with Ross, everyone was completely upset towards the old man who not allowing Stark and his team to deal with Steve and Bucky, but instead putting special ops who would shoot to kill.
"That's the General Ross I know…" Toga mumbles, hating the guy and want to cut him so bad, not to taste his blood, she would probably be disgusted by it, just want to see him bleed for his ignorance and judgement.
01:15:06 - 01:15:36
"But if it wasn't for Rogers, you would have killed an innocent man," Kirishima said before realizing who he's talking about, "okay not entirely innocent, but an unable-to-control-himself who didn't cause the bombing man."
01:15:36 - 01:15:46
"Better equipped and prepared than be in a disadvantage," Hatsume said. Agreeing with Stark reason why it wouldn't end like last time.
01:15:46 - 01:16:06
"Still feeling the impact from the gunshot," Recovery Girl said, remembering how Stark managed to protect himself from a gunshot with his Iron Man glove, though expected that it wouldn't be completely fine out of it.
"In addition to giving a deadline to capture the rouge heroes." one of the teachers said.
01:16:06 - 01:16:28
"Never in a million years," Toga straight out said in a serious tone. With the rest of the audience nodding in agreement, remembering the distrusting relationship between Banner and Ross.
"Yeah, I can see him helping Steve instead of working with Stark." Midoriya agreed with the vampire villain.
01:16:28 - 01:16:39
"Seems that Sam isn't the only one who 'knows a guy." Sero chuckles, knowing that Romanoff is referring to T'Challa, but curious about Stark's guy.
01:16:39 - 01:17:00
The scene cuts to another location with big title words saying 'Queens', it then shows a boy holding what looked like a DVD player up to his room.
"This must be a new person to note," Midoriya excites, getting his notes ready to find out more of this person, with a feeling that this is the 'guy' that Stark is talking about.
01:17:00 - 01:17:21
The scene then shows the face of the person, who is surprised to see Tony Stark in his place. This person is named Peter Parker.
The audience was somewhat surprised, with the aunt saying about school and from appearance alone, Peter seems to be around the same age as the students.
"Wait… the person Stark needs to track and capture Steve… is a kid?" one of the teachers said, already questioning Stark's decision.
01:17:21 - 01:17:40
"Isn't that the funding thing that Stark gave at MIT?" Hatsume recalls. Noticing Peter being unsure about what Iron Man was talking about.
"I think so," the support teachers answered, "but it sounds like Peter didn't really apply…"
01:17:40 - 01:18:14
There wasn't much to say with the talk between Peter, Stark and Peter's aunt, just a little awkward especially when Parker didn't apply for the September Foundation, some suspected that Stark made it up as an excuse as to why he was there.
But they're just wondering about Peter's deal that gave Stark attention to him.
01:18:14 - 01:18:34
From the sight of Parker's room having old tech and Peter admits that he's a dumpster diver, Mei couldn't help but smile.
"Interesting in technology, a collection of old stuff, he has an interest in making devices!"
This gotten the pink support girl full attention, now curious about Peter with this interest.
01:18:34 - 01:18:43
Finally, the reason for Stark to be there was shown, as Iron Man pulls out a very advanced phone and showed a hologram of a video.
That video showed someone trying to steal a car, only for a man in red and blue swinging by and caught the car thief off guard before he can steal the car.
This brought more attention to Parker, especially Midoriya who sees this person, who according to Stark, is Peter, as a hero.
Already he started writing notes with more questions in his head, starting with what kind of hero he was and what power he has.
01:18:43 - 01:18:51
"Seriously!" some of the students shouted, watching the next video that showed the hero manage to stop a full speed vehicle from crashing into a bus using only bare strength and speed.
"The kid must have a similar quirk to All Might's with a feat like that." One of the teachers were impressed by the kid.
01:18:51 - 01:19:00
"Yeah, as if!" Mina scoffs to Peter's excuse, obviously trying to hide the truth, "even Hollywood use quirk stunts for their movies!"
01:19:00 - 01:19:08
"The secrets out!" one of the students said, with laughter from the audience when Stark found Peter's hero costume.
Though didn't doubt it in the first place, Midoriya put a full confirmation that Peter Parker is the swinging hero shown on the videos.
01:19:08 - 01:19:25
"Spider-Man," Midnight said, "very basic but a good hero name."
"I guess he is swinging and going fast, maybe he's like a jumping spider," Sero said, being interesting in the swinging hero who calls himself a spider, reminding himself of the hero he inspired to start using his tapes as a way to swing himself through obstacles. He even considers the possibility that it might even be the same person since his inspiring hero came from New York, just like Parker.
Meanwhile, for the rest, they were interested in the fact that Peter Parker is a hero named 'Spider-Man'. Though some who are disgusted with spiders felt a little unsettled of a hero that has similar powers to a spider, remembering spiders being creepy crawly bugs with poison bites. However, they weren't creeped out by Peter, as he shows no aspect of what a Spider is.
All while Midoriya makes so many notes in his notebook, making a new pager for Spider-Man.
01:19:25 - 01:19:41
"Sounds like a good day for an ordinary student," Iida said.
01:19:41 - 01:19:54
"I know how that feels," Midoriya nervously mutters, remembering times when after he went through an incident and come home, her mother would freak out, checking to see if he's all right. which results in him freaking out, trying to say that he's okay.
01:19:54 - 01:19:58
"That's a sudden catch," one of the teachers said, impressed, "the kid has some serious reflexes."
01:19:58 - 01:20:27
"Heightened senses," one of the teachers muttered, trying to understand Peter's power and how it works.
"Need goggles to help you focus on the task," Hatsume said, remembering her goggles when she gets too excited.
"Whatever Peter's quirk is, it seems that he has more than just one ability," Midoriya said, writing down information given from this scene, "based on what they said, the swinging comes from webs that he makes, so that's tech-based. But his other abilities, the wall climbing and the increased sense, all sounds like it's his quirk. Both having similar abilities as a spider."
"You're right on that one," Momo said, breaking the continuous muttering from the green hair kid. "it's obvious how a spider can climb, and I guess the senses would be based on a spider since they sense from their trichobothria."
"A what?" Uraraka asked.
"Spider hair." Momo summarized, which caused the gravity girl to feel sick.
"So, he does have some aspects of a spider after all," Midoriya said, putting that gross, but interesting fact in his notes.
01:20:27 - 01:20:42
From Stark's question, everyone, mostly the students and teachers, gets ready to hear Peter's motivation, the reason for becoming a hero.
01:20:42 - 01:21:22
In Parker's reason, he said that he was himself all his life and only gotten his powers for six months. He's different and knows that he shouldn't do things that couldn't do before.
Then he said a statement.
'When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you.'
It was a previous thought that came to Midoriya's mind before. More so, he understands what Peter was going through, having a power that changes you and being responsible for that power. it just made him remember how long it's been since he had One For All, not even a full school year.
To the All Might successor, he understands what Peter meant, the idea of not using power and not using that power to solve problems in front of him would only cause trouble, which is why he uses it when people are in trouble, that's one of his aims to be a hero. To prove that he can save people.
He has power and it's his responsibility to how he can use it. And since he chose to become a Pro Hero, it's a big responsibility.
If he had to shorten the words, he could make up his statement, one that he wrote in his notes on Parker's page.
Unknown to him, the FWM appeared behind him and looked over his shoulder to read what he wrote.
"With Great Power, comes Great Responsibility."
Midoriya was jumped and turned to see the hooded girl. "what?" he shouted in fright, causing everyone to turn to her.
"That's what you wrote right?" the FWM asked, "with Great Power comes Great Responsibility, pretty much what Parker said on-screen and it's a very… powerful statement. Just glad that you understand that."
As the girl leaves the screen room, Midoriya looked back at his notes.
"I didn't even write that…" he muttered, looking at what he really wrote.
'With power. It comes with great responsibility to use it for good.'
01:21:22 - 01:21:34
"it's not wanting to become a great hero, but it is still good." All Might said, glad that Peter isn't someone who wants to become a hero or the best hero, just being someone who looks out for the little guy.
01:21:34 - 01:22:15
After Stark hears this, he decided to have Spider-Man be part of his team to take down Steve and his team. Peter didn't want to, not knowing that this was just a small field trip and when Stark was about to tell his aunt, Peter used his webs to stop Stark from opening the door.
"He wasn't kidding about the webs," Sero said, seeing Stark hand being trapped by the webs.
"Looks like a way to trap villains!" Hatsume said, liking the idea of web-based, sticky holders to capture villains or stop them from escaping.
01:22:15 - 01:22:27
A few students and teachers couldn't help but chuckle when Stark ask Parker to get him out of the trapped webbing.
Overall, they now know that Peter Parker or Spider-Man is going to help Stark, while the teachers would question bringing a kid with only 6 months of his power to deal with experienced heroes turned vigilantes, they still wonder how Peter is going to deal as a hero.
The students meanwhile find Peter very interesting, as it finally shows a hero who is around their age. Those who read from history book remember that in their reality, the Pre-licensed vigilantes started fighting crime in their teenage years to their young adult years, coincidentally the same as how old all the first quirk generation were at the time. So it would be interesting to see how a teenage hero deals with the big change and working with Stark.
With one mysterious guy down on Stark's side, the audience is now curious about the other side.
01:22:27 - 01:22:42
"Well, that was a sudden turn," Kirishima comments on the next scene back at the Avengers headquarters where a distant explosion occurs. Wanda and Vision noticing it and Vision checking it out.
"I wonder," Aizawa thought, "who caused this explosion and why at a distance, as though someone wanted their attention…"
01:22:42 - 01:22:50
After Wanda sense someone and threw a kitchen knife at the intruder, the revealed Hawkeye.
"Clint?" Denki said towards the student's confusion, "what is he doing there?"
"Yeah, I thought he retired from hero work," Kirishima said.
"It's obvious you idiots," Bakugo asked.
01:22:50 - 01:23:02
"He's breaking the agreement of retirement to get Wanda out of the house," Bakugo said when Barton shot two arrows.
"But that means he's the one who caused that explosion," Sero pointed out.
"A distraction for Vision," Tokoyami suggested.
"So that means he's working with Steve." Aizawa said, sighing in disappointment, "another fallen hero."
01:23:02 - 01:23:16
"Can't leave a problem very alone," All Might said.
01:23:16 - 01:23:31
A sudden jump when Vision was trapped in an electrical fence, making it hard for him to go through when Barton told Wanda to go with him, she decided not to because she fears that she could cause another problem.
It was a little mixed for the audience, but most of them agreed with Wanda's decision, understanding her situation to stay put until she no longer becomes a problem.
Those who did not agree were some students and villains, hoping for her to help Steve and Bucky do the right thing.
01:23:31 - 01:23:42
"I don't think going rouge and against the law would help to make amends," Iida sigh, feeling a little disappointed towards the quirkless bow-wielding hero.
01:23:42 - 01:24:04
Action ensues, but it wasn't exciting action, as Clint made vain efforts fighting Vision, only for Vision to not take any hits and overpower Hawkeye.
"Geez, talk about one-sided," Kirishima said, feeling bad for Barton, "it would be like watching a quirkless guy trying to fight All Might in his prime."
"Yeah, what quirkless idiot would even attempt to fight All Might?" Bakugo said.
(Dang it, I wanted the speakers to shout 'BATMAN' since he would, but unfortunately, I removed it and replaced it with Hawkeye, all well…)
"He is really out of his league," one of the villains pointed out, knowing that Barton cannot win against Vision.
01:24:04 - 01:24:18
"Yeah, Wanda to the rescue, can she beat Vision, she's powerful, but he's powerful too!" Twice said, just when Wanda threaten Vision to let Barton go.
While a few were shocked at Wanda changing her mind and going with Hawkeye to help Steve, others expected her to do this.
"How unfortunate," Nezu said.
01:24:18 - 01:24:28
"Wait, what's going on?" Uraraka asked, not sure of what Wanda is doing to Vision, "I thought Vision can move through things."
"True, but Wanda has a Hex quirk," Momo suggest, "it's possible that from her powers, she can hold Vision's physical form and control it."
"At least Barton is freed," the gravity girl think of the bright side, "now I'm just worried about Wanda."
"I'm not worried," the female villain spoken out, watching Wanda take control of Vision
01:24:28 - 01:24:48
Everyone was surprised at how Wanda pushed Vision down to the ground and deeper. Setting her in the path of a criminal.
"No…" the pink alien looking girl was in tears, "not another ship ruined!"
While everyone had mixed feelings towards this scene, mostly negative, there was one particular girl who understood Wanda's position.
Toga thinks about what Wanda said.
'I can't control their fear, only my own.'
The thought that occurred around when she became a villain, the idea that people will be always afraid of her because of who she is and if she just becomes herself, she will be judged and seen as a blood obsessed psychopath.
She understood that the only way she can fit in hero society and live a normal life is to not be herself, and until her quirk had control over her, she hated that she can't be herself.
Toga knows she can't control how people fear her, but she's not afraid of her own. It might not easy, she wants to have it easy, but it's better than being something that she's not.
The very same thing happening to Wanda, a girl with a power that made her look like a villainous witch, especially when she has a publicly known body count. She can try not to be herself and hide, or go out, break the rules and do what would be good for her.
"You go, Wanda," Toga softly said, smiling at the Scarlet Witch who ploughed Vision to the Earth's soil. "Be and do best for yourself."
01:24:48 - 01:24:57
"One more stop?" Iida said, "so Barton isn't the guy…"
"But he is certainly working with Steve," Shinso said, "that we can all agree on."
01:24:57 - 01:25:29
"And obviously we know Black Panther is going to join with Stark." Midnight said, seeing the scene where Romanoff convinced T'Challa about Bucky's location.
01:25:29 - 01:25:34
"Cut him some slack, he's from the 1940s," one of the students points out as the next scene shows Sharon meeting with Steve who came out of an old car.
01:25:34 - 01:25:40
"At least she managed to get their gear back," someone on the blue side said, "better than no gear, would be very weird to see Captain America without his signature shield."
"it would also be very risky for her to get those items, ribbit," Asui points out, "especially when the former owners are fugitives."
01:25:40 - 01:26:04
"Assisting with wanted fugitives and theft of government property, that would put her on the list of criminals," one of the teachers said.
"Wait, so Peggy's niece is a criminal now!" Nejire asked a little shocked by the fact.
"Pretty much," her friend answered.
01:26:04 - 01:26:21
After thanking her, Steve then did something that nobody except Mina expects him to do. Kiss Sharon.
"Yes!" Mina cheered in glee, "even if it's a goodbye kiss, it's still a kiss! Just so romantic!"
01:26:21 - 01:26:26
"A little late…" Jiro shrugs.
01:26:26 - 01:26:41
There were a few chuckles when it showed both Sam and Bucky nodding their heads in agreement, watching the kiss as the audience did.
"Seriously?" Tokoyami said, with a facepalmed look, more so than Steve's reaction to their nodding "can't leave him alone."
"Not like we have a choice," the music girl said, "though at least someone is liking it," she turns to see a stratified Mina.
01:26:41 - 01:27:04
"So, you abandon your family and retirement, risking your status over a favour and a debt?" one of the teachers said, wondering about Barton's reason to help the hero despite him being retired
"Granted that Barton is helping out an innocent man, and be willing to do so knowing that he's going to be in trouble for it, that's a man right there," Kirishima said.
"Plus Wanda's brother sacrificed his life for him, so it would be reasonable to give something back for Wanda," Nezu said.
01:27:04 - 01:27:15
When Sam mentioned that he 'knows a guy,' the audience was curious to know who this guy was, expecting it to be a hero or someone who can help Steve on his way to stop Zemo.
In this scene, it's revealed who this guy was.
It was Scott Lang.
"Ant-Man?" the students said in sync, surprised to see him in this film.
"I guess it does make sense," Aizawa said, "he encountered Falcon before and he impressed by his skills during their fight."
"it would also explain the ending of the previous MCU film." All Might added, "Sam was looking for him, but I didn't expect it to be for this case."
"Oh yeah, when Sam talked to the journalist," Sero said. "hold on a second, did she also mention someone who can jump, swing and climb walls?"
"You mean Parker?" Asui turn to the tape student, "sounds like it was teasing us about him."
"Now it all comes together now!" Sero said all while Midoriya made some conclusions about the journalist in the last film, now knowing that she was talking about Spider-Man.
01:27:15 - 01:27:47
"Got the words jumbled up," Denki chuckled. While everyone had a nice smile towards Scott meeting Captain America and acting how a common fan would act, especially when he's going to work with him.
01:27:47 - 01:28:08
"Wait a minute!" Uraraka suddenly realized, "isn't he trying to be a better person and not go back to his criminal roots during his film?"
"You got a point," Asui agreed with her friend, "he wants to do better and I believe he managed to do so after helping Pym with his mission, he got what he wanted and now he's turning it all away."
"Probably didn't know what he was signing up for." All Might suggested, "the accords would probably be new to him and it's unlikely he knows about Steve's situation, but he's going to help either way."
"Hey, at least they got a shrinking thief in their team. Go Ant-Man!" Twice said.
01:28:08 - 01:28:24
"Alright time for the he… Steve's team to suit up!" Kirishima said, getting himself ready, with an alert of the airport being evacuated means that Stark knows where they are, meaning that he would bring his team to the airport to stop the hero.
Everyone had several thoughts about what's going to happen, as they already can tell what will happen next, Steve and his team are going to go through the airport while Stark and his team are going to stop them at their track, even though the true villain is going to do something bad with the hidden Winter Soldiers that are hiding in a secret base in Russia.
Most of them know that what Steve is doing is the right thing, but understood why Stark is stopping them, and it's due to their lack of knowledge of Zemo.
But even so, Wanda, Barton and Scott decided to side with Steve even if it risks their status as a hero and changes into criminals. The teachers found it unfortunate that it has to be that way, but it's how it is, they cannot change anything with the law or how the government run their hero society, just glad that their government treated them better than everyone in Steve's team. And aside from the teachers on the blue side, they accepted that if they didn't know about Zemo, they would of side with Stark and stop Steve and his team at his tracks.
The teachers and students felt a little worried since it's heroes fighting heroes and it was hard for who to root for. Meanwhile, for the villains, they are happy to see the good guys fighting each other, with those with Stain's ideals rooting for Steve's side.
And so, the Civil War begins…
(In the next chapter… CLIFFHANGER!)
To be concluded (of this film)…
