Chore Day
"Sup Em? Sup CR?" Beca asked walking into the kitchen at the Bella house.
"Nothing much, just fixing and cleaning." CR said organizing the table in the living room.
"You know I'm just helping out where I can." Emily answered.
Today was Sunday which meant it was "Chore's day" where everyone split up and did things around the house.
"Sounds fun." Beca said grabbing a bottle of Gatorade.
"What'd you get stuck with?" CR asked.
Beca rolled her eyes "Let's see, washed everyone's bed sheets which meant I had to make everyone's bed and then I had to vacuum and mop upstairs." Beca answered.
"Sheesh that's a bit brutal." CR said.
"Yeah, no kidding. You know how many loads it took to wash and dry all the bedsheets?" Beca exclaimed.
"Well, there's nine of us, plus the two guest beds, so eleven?" CR said in a joking manner.
"Ding, ding, ding we have a winner folks." Beca said sarcastically.
The two girls laughed at their co-captain.
"Why do you always get stuck with the tedious tasks?" Asked Emily.
Beca scoffed "Because my co-captain enjoys seeing me suffer."
"You do realize the co-captain is your girlfriend, right?" CR chuckled.
"I'm very much aware, thank you very much." Beca answered putting the bottle down.
"What is she doing anyways?" Beca asked.
"Washing the cars." Emily answered.
Beca chuckled humorously "Of course she is. Leave it to her to do the one task that involves looking good and cooling off."
"Well, I mean she does have three cars to wash." CR shrugged.
"CR, all she does is spray the car, put soap on it, spray it again and then dry it off. Not really that hard." Beca said.
She put the bottle back in the fridge and made her way to the front window peeking through it. There she saw her girlfriend in a white cropped tank top, a pair of running shorts and some sandals on. As she saw Stacie get everything set up, she smirked as an idea came to her head. She closed the curtains and walked back into the kitchen.
"Oh no, I know that smirk." Emily said.
"What did that mind of yours just cook up?" CR asked.
"A little payback for all the pranks, jokes, putting me on the spot and for all the tedious chores she's given me." Beca chuckled.
"Becs." Emily said slowly.
"What? It's nothing bad. Come on now it's Stacie, do you really think I'd do something extreme to the girl I love?" Beca asked raising a brow.
"You're right." Emily said.
"Exactly. Now if you'll excuse me." Beca said making her way towards the storage closet. She grabbed two buckets and filled them up with water.
"CR help?" Beca asked.
"Sure, but I had nothing to do with this." CR said making her way towards Beca.
"Deal. Help me take these to the balcony?" Asked Beca.
CR nodded and the two each carried a bucket to Beca's attic room that had a window which led to a small balcony ledge that overlooked the driveway. The very driveway where Stacie was currently washing the cars.
The made their way back downstairs and Beca smirked handing them her phone.
"Sit back, record and enjoy the show." Beca said.
"What's the plan exactly?" CR asked grabbing the phone.
"You'll see. Just remember our rule no one enters the house wet and soapy." Beca winked.
That was a rule the Bellas made for whoever washed the cars. They would have to dry up before entering the house. That was due in part to the fact that the floors were already mopped and cleaned.
Beca exited the front door with CR following but not being obvious as she was recording.
"Hey baby." Beca said gaining Stacie's attention.
Stacie turned around with a smile "Hi babe, what's up?"
"Nothing much, I finished my stuff up and just wanted to check on you." Beca answered casually.
"Aww well I'm about to start soaping up the first car." Stacie answered as she added the soap to one bucket.
"All the buckets have soap?" Beca asked.
"No, I haven't filled them yet. I had to move the cars and untangle the hose because someone didn't roll it up neatly." Stacie groaned.
"Let me help." Beca said moving the two other buckets that were meant for the soap over to where the bottle of soap was.
"You don't have to." Stacie said.
"Please you're my girlfriend, I don't want you to struggle." Beca said.
"Aren't you the sweetest. Thank you." Stacie beamed.
Beca nodded and filled the bucket up with the water and soap before placing the bottle out of harm's way. She made sure there was nothing in the way that could cause any injury as it was now time to execute her plan.
"Where do you want the buckets?" Beca asked.
"One by each car please?" Asked Stacie.
Beca nodded "You know Stace I was wondering, why do I always get the tedious tasks?"
"Because you're you. I give you them since you're the laziest one besides Amy." Stacie said with a smirk.
"You see though it's the fact that you give me those tasks on top of always giving me a hard time. Now I know your my girlfriend and I love that we can mess with one another like that constantly, but when I do it to you, you get payback. But I'm yet to get any payback." Beca said.
"What are you getting at?" Stacie asked skeptical.
Beca shrugged "I'm just saying that there's gotta be payback that you have to receive."
"Babe." Stacie said slowly.
Beca smirked "Yes my love?" She asked sweetly.
"What are you thinking?" Stacie asked.
"Nothing. I already did my thinking." Beca smirked before grabbing the first bucket of soapy water and emptying it on Stacie.
"BECA!" Stacie shrieked as all the soapy water was now dripping down her body.
Beca quickly tossed the empty bucket onto the lawn before she grabbed the second bucket and dumped that one on Stacie as well.
"REBECCA!" Stacie shrieked once more as her shirt and shorts became damper.
She tried her best to deflect and cover up but considering Beca was about three feet in front of her and she only had a sponge in hand, there wasn't much she can do.
Beca threw the second bucket on the lawn and finally grabbed the third bucket and dumped the final bucket on Stacie.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Stacie yelled.
Beca laughed "Wow baby, you a little wet there. Are you excited to see me?" She smirked.
Stacie let out an annoyed sounding growl as her face contorted into a look of anger and annoyance.
"Get back here Mitchell." She said in a low voice taking a step forward.
"Don't think so baby." She said before quickly running towards the house.
CR saw this as her cue to head in and stop Stacie.
Beca ran inside and up the stairs towards the balcony quickly as CR stood by the door.
"Sorry Stacie but you know the rule." CR said.
"CR, let me in." Stacie said.
"I can't cap, you made the rule and we've all had to follow." CR said.
Stacie took a deep breath and groaned "I'm going to kill that smurf." Stacie mumbled as she walked back towards the cars.
CR creeped outside to get a better view of Beca and Stacie.
Beca finally made it up to where the other two buckets were.
"Nice bra baby!" Beca exclaimed.
Stacie looked up towards the balcony.
"Just wait till I get in there Mitchell." Stacie warned.
"Like I said Stace, this is payback for all the years of jokes, pranks and giving me these tasks." Beca said.
"This is a bit much!" Stacie exclaimed.
"Not really but hey why don't I help you rinse off?" Beca asked.
"How about you fuck off." Stacie shot back.
Beca shook her head "I think not." She said bending down and grabbing the first bucket full of water and dumping it over the ledge.
The water splashed down on Stacie.
"HOW MANY BUCKETS DO YOU HAVE!?" Stacie shouted moving her hair out of her face.
Beca didn't answer she dumped the last bucket on Stacie.
"That was the last one." Beca answered.
Stacie moved her hair once more.
"You are literally digging your own grave here." Stacie said.
Beca simply laughed as she headed back downstairs. She made sure to grab Stacie a towel.
"Here you go." CR said handing Beca her phone.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Beca joked.
She made her way outside where she could hear Stacie cursing her out.
"What language." Beca joked.
Stacie whipped her head around and just glared at her girlfriend.
Beca walked over towards Stacie and sat down next to her on one of the empty buckets. She wrapped the towel around her and left her arm around her shoulders.
"Don't try to be cute and affectionate. I'm mad at you." Stacie said quietly gripping the towel.
Beca chuckled "Oh come on, you prank me all the time."
"Not like this." Stacie said back.
"Stace, you literally dumped ice water on me in the shower last week." Beca pointed out.
"Yeah, but you were already wet." Stacie shot back.
"Still a prank baby. I've never gotten you back prank wise." Beca said.
"Wasn't this a bit far?" Stacie asked.
Beca shrugged "Maybe but you know I don't do anything small. If I do something I go all in."
"I'll get you back." Stacie said.
Beca laughed and gave Stacie a kiss on the cheek "I'd expect nothing less."
