Byaruki thoughts: Side stories for Game of Life

A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 5: A new start [part 6]
Ever since then, Byakuya and Rukia shared most of their meals, and spent time together after every dinner, as they walk in the gardens.
Silently enjoying one another's company, as they walk under the peaceful night sky, surrounded by Sakura trees.
Almost, surreal.
They talk about Soul Society, and the effects of the battles to their fellow shinigamis.

And thus, Byakuya allowed to host a party for every one in his manor, which to everybody's delight took advantage of this rare opportunity, to be invited to the most coveted homes in the entire Soul Society.
And witness the fabled Sakura gardens.
Amidst this, Rukia felt happy and content seeing everyone enjoy themselves, after such chaos had come to pass.
She was also grateful, that her relationship with her childhood friend, Renji Abarai, had returned, all thanks to Ichigo.
Ichigo, who was currently with his friends, enjoying themselves.
She is very thankful to him… indebted.
For he…
changed her fate.
And mend her relationships with the people she cared about, including her relationship with the Shibas.
Especially her relationship with Byakuya.
Her beloved Nii-sama.

Byakuya on the other hand was just silently enjoying the happiness he saw in Rukia's face.
Such beauty…
It's a shame that he could not do anything about it, that would not cause undue strain to everyone involve, most importantly, to Rukia.
He contemplates, as he sipped his tea inside his study, looking over Rukia from his window, unseen.
Watching her, as he always do.
