End of Remnant, Episode 1: Beginning of the Endgame

Things had looked up for Team LABW, they had saved a cruise ship from a few Fei Longs and got offered a room on the ship to 'come back to Vale in style'. Lapis had the sneaking suspicion it was basically a bribe to cheap out on getting protection for the ship. However, her lessons from Roman kicked it to milk it for as much as she could. It helped that her reputation and clout had people…willing to work with her. Thus, her team got the finest rooms to relax in.

"The sooner we get back to Vale, the better." Lapis thought. "But…I really was not going to deny a luxury room.

She sat on the bed of her suite clad in a fluffy bathrobe that was free for VIP guests. She was waiting for Jaune to finish in the bathroom, and he came out in a bathrobe of his own dried up after a hot bath.

"I could have joined you and washed your back." Lapis offered.

"Yeah, you could have. But we'd make a mess of the bathroom." Jaune said sitting next to her.

"Not like I can't learn it." Lapis said pulling him close. "I'm just happy I can put leader duties behind me."

"I hope Pyrrha's back to normal." Jaune mused. "I really hope she was able to find someone."

"Or isn't simping for you anymore." Lapis said with a flirtatious wink. "I got you all to myself…speaking of, I bet you're wondering about the heels and make up."

Lapis got up slipping off the robe to reveal gold-colored lingerie consisting of a garter belt with garters, and black stockings attacked to them. She had not bothered with a bra…this time. Jaune was for lack of a better term, blown away, but he noticed something.

"You increased the size of your boobs?" Jaune said. "You didn't have to."

"I know, but sometimes a girl wants to feel a bit well endowed. Besides I made the girls about Yang's size." Lapis said gently.

"You're no slouch as you were though." Jaune said as she sat on his lap.

"Funny thing is…after my fusion…I discovered a grew a cup size. Me and Kelly would be the same size now. There's a reason I made them bigger for tonight…I made them tender." Lapis said in a heat whisper before kissing him. "Now, I could use a ru-"

Jaune's scroll rang interrupting them. Lapis got off (not in the fun way) and took up Jaune's scroll only to recoil in horror. She tossed it to him and rushed to get dressed. Jaune looked at the Caller ID only to facepalm. Why?! Why did his mother have to video call him now?! Lapis was quickly back in her huntress clothes, but it was clear she was wearing the lingerie underneath. Jaune was dressed in seconds before answering.

"Hey mom…" Jaune said nervously.

"Hey sweetheart, you were finally in range for me to call you…so I wanted to see what you were up to."

"I was just relaxing…" Jaune said before Lapis turned on the television off-camera. "watching television with Lapis, my girlfriend."

One of Jaune's sisters yelled out, "Pictures or we're assuming 'Lapis' is your right hand!"

"Bite me, Aureolin." Jaune snarled.

An older sister of Jaune came to view. Her hair was just as blonde and rather short as her brother but shaved on the sides. Aureolin Arc reminded Lapis of Ivory…if she was sported a butch haircut.

"Holy shit, she's actually real." Aureolin said surprised.

Lapis wished she could vanish as five more sisters crowded the screen with their mother eyeing her up left and right.

"Jaune was never going to have a problem getting a decent girl." The sister in circular glasses said. "I'm Dr. Citrine Arc."

"What are you a doctor of?" Lapis asked.

"Human biology. Frankly, seeing the huntsmen like you and your…deceased sister were certainly an anomaly." Citrine said.

"Whatever, nerd." The youngest one said combing her own pigtails. "I'm Laguna Arc."

Lapis got to meet the twins Latte and Crème…along with the oldest one, Persici Arc.

"A shame Saphron isn't here with us…" Madonna said.

"You mean the one who lives in Argus with her partner…I have met her in a way. It's hard to explain." Lapis said sheepishly.

"So, tell us what about yourself?" Laguna said excitedly.

"That's not a lot to tell about me…I'm just a huntress who teaches at Beacon Academy. I served as sub-leader for my home team, Team YUKI, and as current leader for Team LABW." Lapis said innocently.

"Teacher-student romance? Oh, that makes sense, he's basically your bitch." Aureolin said crassly.

"Jaune, care to explain?" Madonna said.

"She's about my age, mom. And she was a student-teacher before they gave her the license." Jaune explained frantic. "Yeah, she's been my mentor, but it's not weird."

"Of course, she sounds like she whipped you into shape. And to be frank, she looks like she succeeded." Madonna said as all his sisters were giggling.

"You almost look just like dad now." Persici said with a snort.

"Yeah, well. Yuk it up, I'm damn well sure I can kick your ass now. I bet I could take on dad." Jaune said getting laughter from Madonna.

"Oh honey, you'd have to get through ME first." Madonna said as Jaune paled. "Yeah, I thought so."

Blake and Sun were out on patrolling the ship as it sailed across the sea. The two were in the dining room getting smoothies to drink.

"So, you ready to call it a night?" Sun asked her.

"I am. Lapis had enough time to herself with Jaune. I…" Blake said before pausing. "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Sun asked.

"The wind, it's…" Blake said before feeling a chill.

The two looked up to see shockwaves of airs rained down upon the cruise ship battering and rocking the ships. Lapis and Jaune fell to the ground scaring the sisters. Jaune and Lapis was slammed with a sense of a dark energy.

"What's going on?" Madonna asked worriedly.

Before either could attack, a figure slammed through the windows shatter. A bipedal creature with a skeletal build. It has a flat, half-circular head with two small glowing bluish-green eyes on the front. It is mostly black, except for its light gray chest and abdomen. There is a ridge down its back with three flat spines on either side and it has a flat, pointed tail. Its forearms have large, sharp, gray scythes. Its thin legs are a lighter shade of black that led to small feet with two large gray claws.

The creature swiped with a slash nicking the scroll cutting off the Arc family from the two. It swiped again only to be blocked by Jaune's shield before Lapis blasted it out through the broken window with aura. Jaune pocketed the broken scroll before they both got their weapons and gear.

"Who do you think attacking us?" Jaune asked. "The Grimm King?"

"No, if this was Grimm King. He'd confront us personally or announce his presence." Lapis said as they ran out. "And Yuki would call…"

"I wish I knew what to…" Jaune said before looking over the side to see the creature clawing it's way back up. "Shit! It's coming back up and with company!"

Lapis waved her hand using the ocean to lift up water to peel it and its friends off before freezing them to force them to sink to the depths below. Civilians were being rushed inside to safety as huntsman and the able were doing what they could to fight out the horde of Voyden Grimm. Jaune and Lapis lent their aid, but Lapis had an eerie feeling that this was not a random attack. Lapis put on her communicator and called in.

"Team LABW, report!" Lapis roared.

"This is Blake, me and Sun are on deck. We're bruised, but we're ok. Voyden Grimm are swarming the place, and we're evacuating the civilians. The wind is getting worse!" Blake said as thunder rumbled.

Rain began to pour as lighting crackled. Lapis and Jaune made it to the desk in for Lapis to slice one of those creatures in half before it could cut Blake in two.

"What the hell are these things coming from?" Sun said swatting one aside with a chuck.

Lapis sliced off its claws with her sword before looking closely at the eyes. When she slashed the neck to see the eyes fade from bluish-green to red, she realized what was going down.

"Someone's controlling them." Lapis yelled out.

"Figures, what Grimm has green eyes?" Jaune said with a sigh. "Is it the mad doctor?"

"I wish I could say yes, but I do not think this is the work of them. Whoever is doing so is imposing their twisted aura over them…" Lapis said. "I can say to sense out the source."

Lapis took a breath before focusing on the source, closing her eyes and clearing her mind for a few brief moments. Suddenly, she snapped them open and fired an Aura Piercer into the sky.

[Music Ends]

The claw creatures suddenly stopped, and everything went quiet. Even the storm ceased, and the waters were still. No one moved and one could hear…humming. An eerie little number as the source floated down from the clouds with an evident mark on her cheek from Lapis's Aura Piercer shot.

"Who the hell are you? Did the Grimm King send you?" Lapis asked.

The creatures' eyes all glowed as they surrounded the ship.

"No. The Grimm King is a battle hungry fool…I serve the future king and God of this world. I, Kukichi Noshi, grant you these worlds." Kukichi said. "After all…my pets have delivered the payload…."

Her jewel glowed.

"I grant you the coming of sweet death."
