Bulma refused to wake Drift up so she could take care of Jamie. She took a couple of pictures and sent Crosshairs a text before planning how to transfer Jamie with Cade.
"I think it would be easier to have Hound transport her even if it's a five-second trip," Cade suggests. Bulma texts Hound the plan. Of course, he agrees and waits for the text telling him to come back to the Junkyard.
They didn't think Crosshairs would come back and with the girls.
"I'm sorry, I-," he starts apologizing.
"It's fine, you know if they'd do ok being here," Bulma reminds him.
"Jayce, look," J.R. says, smiling and pointing at Jamie's bed. Crosshairs gives Jayce his phone, knowing she wants to take pictures.
"I'd hate to disturb him, but I'm going to have to soon," Bulma tells Crosshairs "did they eat?" She whispers.
"Yes, without any trouble. I don't know if we can say they're done refusing to eat or not," he replies, whispering.
"Too soon to tell."

Drift is up an hour later; Bulma decides to move Jamie before taking care of her.
"She'll be ok," Bulma assures Jayce and J.R.
Crosshairs and Drift let the two watch Bulma prepare Jamie for transport. Hound waits in his vehicle mode, hoping the girls won't panic. The girls watch nervously, hugging their chosen support mech.

A few minutes pass before Crosshairs and Drift take the girls to their alt modes and leave as Bulma finishes.
The two mechs and girls wait for Bulma and Hound.

Hound activates his holoform and joins the other five down the hall to the room Bulma will have Jamie in.
Crosshairs, Drift, Hound, and the two girls wait in the hallway as Bulma gets Jamie situated.
Jayce and J.R. anxiously wait for Bulma to open the door. Five minutes pass before Bumblebee, Cade, and Vegeta Join them.

They didn't have to wait long before Bulma opens the door.
"I'm not done, but I figured they'd be anxious,* Bulma explains, referring to Jayce and J.R., "Jamie is fine," Bulma assures them.
"Come on, Jayce, let's go watch T.V. and let Drift spend time with Jamie," J.R. insists, taking Jayce's hand. She wanted to say 'Crosshairs and Drift,' but she's unsure if Jayce will be ok or panic. Crosshairs takes Jayce's other hand, and the three of them go watch T.V.
The other mechs go into the room with Bulma though she still needs to feed Jamie and clear the catheter.

"How long are you keeping the tubes in?" Drift asks.
"Maybe a couple of days after Jamie wakes up. It's hard to know for sure," Bulma replies, "I know it's hard watching her go through this, but you know Jamie is a strong fighter."
Bulma hugs Drift, who's clearly struggling with the information more than the others. The others leave the room as Drift moves a chair by the bed.

"Damn, is it just me, or is he struggling more even though Jamie is getting better?" Hound asks.
"It's hard hearing what she has to go through; thinking it's what she went through and the uncertainty this could happen again even if Jadin doesn't cause it," Cade explains, "even I'm not used to this, and I've been keeping a close eye on Jamie for fifty-six days."
Hearing Cade say how long this nightmare has been going on hurts, everyone.

"Just hold the tube and let the liquid go down," Bulma explains as Drift takes the feeding tube from Bulma's hand. He watches her clear out the catheter, hating this is what Jamie has to go through. He knew Jayce used a different feeding tube, but he wasn't sure if she put a catheter in when she took care of Jamie during a mild flare-up.
Once Jamie is taken care of, Drift laid on the bed, holding Jamie. He told Bulma to go ahead and lower the oxygen level. She'd rather not but knows Drift will practically live in this room unless Jayce needs him. She explained to him what will happen if Jamie can't tolerate 30% oxygen support.
"Come on, Jamie; I know you're a fighter," Drift says as he rubs her back.

Crosshairs and the girls walk in an hour later, happy to hear Jamie is doing well on 30% oxygen support and seeing Drift happy with his girl.
"It's about time he's happy," Jayce says before leaving the room.
J.R. still worries Jayce is struggling mentally and emotionally.
"She's doing better," Crosshairs assures her, "but the guilt is still there."
This nightmare is almost over, I think, after two and a half months. I should have done more to help Jamie.

Jayce lays on a bed, supported by her arms, and cries into the pillow. Crosshairs and J.R. think she went to the kitchen; Bumblebee and Hound are getting some sleep. No one knows she's in here...or so she thought until she feels a hand on her back moving in the familiar circular motion. She thought Bumblebee or Hound didn't go to bed, or even Bulma came in until she heard their voice.
"I don't understand why you're still this upset," it was Drift.
Jayce moves to his lap, which is what Drift wanted to do. She hugs him and resumes crying.
This has to be more than guilt that she couldn't take care of Jamie. Drift guesses as he listens to Jayce cry.
"I'm sorry," Jayce mumbles.
Drift wanted to get her to stop crying, but he needed to know what else is bothering her.
"You did the best you could," Drift reminds her.
"I failed, and you had to watch her fight for her life. I had to tell you she died..."
Jayce couldn't continue.
It is guilt, and I worry she thinks I'm angery at her. Drift worries.
"Jayce, I'm not angery at you; you know most of this is out of our control."
Bulma walks in but stands by the closed door, unsure if she should help. She texts Crosshairs telling him Drift is with Jayce.
Drift isn't sure how to get Jayce to calm down, but he doesn't want to use drugs. He moves to the bed with Jayce on his lap. He moves in a slow, rocking motion while rubbing Jayce's back.
Bulma isn't sure what set Jayce off this time, but it's concerning. She knows Drift will tell her once Jayce is calm and likely asleep.

Drift waits five minutes before trying to get Jayce to lie on the bed. She hugs him tighter as he lies down, resulting in Jayce laying on him. She rests her head on his shoulder though she's crying in his ear.
"Shh, it's ok; Jamie is getting better."
I think we'll all be repeating this for a while. Drift dreads as he struggles to get Jayce to calm down.
Crosshairs hates how Jayce is still struggling, and J.R. knows without being told the details.
J.R. leans on Crosshairs, worried Jayce has lasting mental wounds from this nightmare.
Crosshairs worries all three girls will have lasting mental wounds.

Bulma stayed in the room in case Drift wanted to use the relaxant. Twenty minutes passed before Jayce is asleep. She sees how displeased and worried as he lays Jayce on the bed and covers her with a blanket.
What am I going to do? I worry Jamie will be like this, and I won't be able to help both girls. Drift sighs as he sits on the chair by the bed.
"Do you want to try medication?" Bulma asks.
"I'm tired of using drugs on her, but she's been crying more frequently to the point she cries herself to sleep."
"And medication will help her enough to not cry herself to sleep. We'll be able to help her."
"Can we? She feels guilt, and I think she thinks I'm angery at her for letting Jamie get to the point where she flatlined."
"All we can do is try."
Bulma leaves the room and goes to the medbay.
Drift texts Crosshairs telling him Jayce is asleep and asks if J.R. is ok; not liking that she knows Jayce is not ok.

Drift stayed with Jayce, sleeping on the floor. Bulma did not like this idea but knew Drift wasn't leaving Jayce alone. Crosshairs and J.R. hated seeing Drift sleeping on the floor.
"S-she will never recover," J.R. frets, tears rolling down her face. Hating, she knows Drift wants to be with Jamie but is too worried about Jayce.
"I know it's hard to know for sure, but I think she just needs to see Jamie wake up, and she'll start to think better," Crosshairs assures her. Crosshairs hugs her before taking her to watch T.V., hoping he's right and Jayce can recover. He believes J.R. is still struggling, but not as bad as Jayce.
