After the dreadful Black Prom Massacre, Carrie White flees Chamberlain, feeling immensely guilty over the many innocent lives she took. All of Chamberlain believes the Bloody Prom Queen to be dead. However, Sue Snell witnesses the girl escape but doesn't tell anyone.
Very soon, the event attracts the attention of FBI agents Fox Muldder and Dana Scully who arrive at the small town in order to investigate the reports of telekinetic activity. The two agents end up questioning all of the witnesses to the alleged psychokinetic rampage... including Sue Snell, much to her apprehension.
