RAW is WAR: 14/2/2000
WWF RAW is WAR was live at the San Jose Arena in San Jose. The Radicals made their way to the ring to start off the show. DX soon followed. In typical McMahon-Helmsley Era fashion, Triple H and Stephanie booked the show. The Game alerted the crowd that the Road Dogg would be taking on Grand Master Sexay, Mr. Ass would face Scotty Too Hotty and Saturn and Malenko would team up to challenge Rikishi Phatu. Triple H then booked The Rock vs. Chris Benoit. Finally, Kane and Bladewolf learned that they would face Triple H and a partner of his choice.
After Triple H and Stephanie laid down the law, Too Cool and Rikishi made their way to the ring. Looking into a ring full of Radicals and Degenerates, the threesome showed no fear.
Suddenly the lights went out and Kane's theme started playing before the fire exploded on the stage and Kane's theme was replaced by For Whom the Bell Tolls as Kane and Bladewolf walked out with Paul Bearer.
"And here comes Paul Bearer with Bladewolf and Kane!" JR said as the brothers make their way towards the ring. "Bladewolf returned to WWF last Thursday Night on SmackDown, assisting his brother and...he has a new look, King."
"That Big Red retard ought to be locked up somewhere for what he did to Tori." Jerry said.
Bladewolf and Kane came to a stop next to Too Cool and Rikishi, the brothers staring down the men in the ring, both looking to cause destruction. It was still a shock to everyone at seeing Bladewolf without a mask.
The Rock's theme played and out came the People's Champion to a pop from the fans. The 2000 Royal Rumble winner was coming to Lay the SmackDown on Triple H and everyone else in the ring!
The Rock, too Cool, Rikishi, Bladewolf and Kane all slide into the ring and chaos begins as all the men are brawling in the ring. Bladewolf uppercuts X-Pac so hard he falls over the top rope and down to the floor. Bladewolf and Kane then start stomping away on Billy Gunn in the corner before they toss him out the ring and stand with the other Face Superstars as they glare at DX and their allies.
Bladewolf went to a knee and did the Undertaker salute as Kane raises his arms and throws them down to summon fire from the turnbuckles as Kane's theme played. Bladewolf stands and flips his hair back as he glares DX down. Bladewolf will never forget how he came to be injured and who took the WWF Championship away from him and that's Triple H.
RAW then went to commercial break.
After the commercial break, D-Von Dudley, Jeff Hardy and Edge competed in a Triple Threat Match to decide which team would face the New Age Outlaws for the Tag Team Championship at No Way Out. The action was both quick and brutal. When it was all said and done, the Dudleys were awarded the shot at No Way Out when D-Von caught Edge off guard with a reverse DDT.
Next up, the Road Dogg battled Grand Master Sexay in singles competition. The match, which was set up by Triple H earlier in the evening, came to an end when Sexay missed the Hip Hop Drop, allowing the Road Dogg to get the pin after a pump handle slam
The Godfather and D'Lo Brown then took on the team of Al Snow and Steve Blackman. Before the match, Al Snow attempted to convince Blackman that he had a personality. The Lethal Weapon obviously didn't fall for it. D'Lo was able to score the pinfall victory on Blackman after his partner Al Snow fraternizing with one of the hos distracted him.
The new European Champion Kurt Angle then challenged Chris Jericho to an Intercontinental Championship match at No Way Out. Never one to dodge a challenge, Y2J came down to ringside - not to accept his match at No Way Out, but to embarrass him then. The two Superstars scrapped in the middle of the ring until Chyna came down and floored an unexpecting Angle.
Chris Benoit, accompanied to ringside by Eddy Guerrero, made his way down the aisle to battle The Rock. The highly anticipated match-up lived up to all its hype. The momentum switched sides several times during the match, until Chris Benoit eventually scored the pinfall victory after Big Show interfered on his behalf.
Mr. Ass then took on one-half of the popular tag team Too Cool, Scotty Too Hotty. The capacity crowd was electric as Scotty and his tag team partner, Grand Master Sexay, danced their way to the ring. The one on one action was fast and furious, highlighted by a Scotty Too Hotty worm. Soon thereafter, Scotty scored the pinfall victory over Mr. Ass - give the assist to Grand Master Sexay.
Hardcore Holly joined J.R. and the King at the commentator's booth as Crash Holly challenged Essa Rios for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Essa, who was seconded to the ring by his valet Lita, wowed the crowd with numerous high-flying maneuvers. Crash finally fell victim to an Essa Rios moonsault. After the match, Lita executed the very same move on a fallen Crash Holly.
Also after the match, Hardcore Holly verbally abused Crash for losing to a lightweight. Hardcore then battled Tazz. Hardcore looked good in the early going. However, things started turning ugly for Hardcore when Tazz slapped his patented submission move on him. It was then that Crash Holly attacked Tazz, giving Tazz the victory via disqualification.
In two-on-one action, Rikishi Phatu squared off against Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. The two Radicals looked helpless against the mammoth Rikishi. Just when it looked as though Rikishi had the match in control, Eddy Guerrero made his way to the ring and hit Rikishi in the ankle with a metal object. Rikishi was awarded the match by disqualification.
Next up was Kane and Bladewolf vs Triple H and a partner of his choice.
In the area, Kane's theme played after the explosion and the Big Red Machine makes his way down towards the ring with Paul Bearer. "The following is a no DQ tag team match and is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first, being accompanied by Paul Bearer, weighing 326 lbs...KANE!" Lillian Garcia annoucned.
"No DQ means no Disqualification." JR said.
"Duh." Jerry said like it was obvious.
Kane enters the ring and raises his arms before he throws them down to summon fire from the turnbuckles with an explosion.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls plays to a loud pop as Bladewolf comes out on his motorcycle. He pauses on the stage and looks around, clearly enjoying the cheers and feeling of being back in WWF.
"And his partner, weighing 295 lbs...THE BLADEWOLF!" Lillian announced as Bladewolf drives down the ramp.
"Bladewolf coming to the ring under Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls." JR said as Bladewolf drives around the ring and parks his motorcycle at the end of the rap facing the stage. "And the bell is tolling for Triple H and whoever his partner is."
"I'm still shocked at seeing this new look in Bladewolf. I mean...he's not even wearing a mask!" Jerry said.
"he doesn't need to wear a mask to still be that sadistic, evil, and demonic SOB everyone knows and loves." JR said.
Bladewolf enters the ring and walks around before taking off his coat, dumping it outside the ring as his theme dies down. He nods at Kane and Paul Bearer as he stares at the stage.
Triple H's theme plays and out comes the WWF Champion who makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, eyeing the two brothers in the ring with caution before he looks back at the stage.
Big Show's theme plays and Triple H's partner is revealed as Big Show comes out and makes his way down the ramp. Triple H gets on the ring apron and poses with the WWF Championship in hand but Bladewolf was impatient, as was Kane, and they both grab Triple H's hair and pull him into the ring over the top rope.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf stomps on Triple H while Kane uppercuts Big Show to knock him out the ring, then uppercuts X-Pac who had come down to ringside with Triple H. Bladewolf Irish whips Triple H who reverses it but Bladewolf ducks the right hand and Triple H turns around...INTO A GOOZLE! Big Show comes in and attacks Bladewolf from behind, leading to Kane coming to his brother's aid but Big Show clotheslines the Big Red Machine.
Big Show kicks Kane out the ring before he starts stomping away on Bladewolf with Triple H's aid. Big Show picks Bladewolf up and drops a forearm on the back of the Demon Wolf who grunts at the pain as Triple H gets on the ring apron. Big Show pushes Bladewolf into the corner and starts stomping away on him in the corner. Big Show then brings Bladewolf out of the corner and hits a headbutt, flooring the Demon Wolf but Bladewolf got back to his feet quickly and turned to Big Show who nailsa right but Bladewolf seemed to be getting more angrier as the blows hardly effect him now.
Big Show goes for another right but Bladewolf blocks it, and starts unloading on Big Show with a fury of right hands to the forehead of the Big Show. Bladewolf knees Big Show in the stomach, then drives his knee into the side of Big Show's head, then boots him in the side of the head, sending the Giant to a knee. Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes and hits a low dropkick to the head of Big Show.
Bladewolf gets to a knee before he drags Big Show over and tags in Kane. Kane comes in as Bladewolf holds Big Show down, allowing Kane to deliver a huge stomp to the chest of the Big Show. Bladewolf gets out onto the ring apron as Kane pulls Big Show to his feet and lands a hard right, then lands a few right uppercuts to the chin of Big Show. Big Show Irish whips Kane into the ropes, but Kane comes back and uppercuts Big Show when Big Show bent forward for a catapult. Big Show is reeling now as Kane lands a hard right that gets Big Show leaning on the ropes and Kane nails a hard uppercut that echos.
Kane then Irish whips Big Show but Big Show reverses it and Kane comes back into the grasp of Big Show who lifts him up with both hands and drops him down to the mat hard. Bladewolf paces on the ring apron.
"Come on, Kane!" Bladewolf shouts.
Big Show goes for the cover but Kane kicks out at two. Big Show pulls Kane to his feet, headbutts him and gets him into his corner where Big Show tags in Triple H. Big Show gets onto the ring apron as Triple H starts stomping away on Kane before he begins hammering away on Kane with hard hammering rights to the head before he steps towards the ref and distracts him, allowing X-Pac and Big Show to hit Kane.
Bladewolf jumps off the apron and goes for X-Pac but the referee tells him off. Bladewolf gives the referee a dark glare before he points at X-Pac. "Your ass is mine, boy!" He shouts before he turns and heads back to the ring apron on his side of the ring.
Triple H continues to dish out punishment on Kane, trying to keep the Big red Machine down from tagging in Bladewolf. Triple H Irish whips Kane who reverses it, and Triple H comes back with a kneebuster, rebounds off the ropes and hitting a running high knee to the masked face of Kane, flooring the Big Red Machine. Triple H rebounds off the ropes and hits an elbow drop on Kane, going for the cover but Kane kicks out.
Triple H brings Kane over to Big Show who places his boot on the top rope, allowing Triple H to ram Kane's masked face into Big Show's boot before he tags in Big Show. Big Show comes in and lands a few rights to Kane as Bladewolf continues to pace on the ring apron, wanting to help his brother. Well, it was no DQ...so what the hell?
Bladewolf says something to Paul Bearer who secretly grabs something underneath the ring, revealing it to be a steel chair. Bladewolf takes the chair, enters the ring before he runs up...AND SMACKS BIG SHOW IN THE BACK WITH IT! Big Show yells as he falls down. Triple H runs at Bladewolf...WHO WHACKS HIM IN THE SKULL WITH THE CHAIR!
There was no DQ so the referee couldn't disqualify Kane and Bladewolf for this.
X-Pac slides into the ring...BUT GETS A CHAIR TO THE SKULL FOR HIS TROUBLES! Bladewolf tosses the chair aside and helps Kane before both brother start attacking the men in the ring. The Rock's theme plays and the Rock comes running down to help Bladewolf and Kane, going for Big Show as Kane stomps on X-Pac and Bladewolf hammers away on Triple H.
Cactus Jack's theme plays and he comes running down, knocking Tori aside and slides in, helping Bladewolf attack Triple H. Bladewolf and Jack send Triple H out the ring, then Bladewolf grabs Big Show by the throat and Kane does the same. The two brothers look at the Rock who is wanting it to happen. They lift Big Show up...AND DROP HIM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! KANE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! KANE AND BLADEWOLF WIN!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Kane's theme plays. Kane gets his match with X-Pac at No Way Out. Kane, Bladewolf, the Rock, and Cactus Jack send Big Showm triple H, and X-Pac in retreat as RAW is WAR goes off the air...
I hope you all enjoyed that.
