Desperate for a cup of coffee, Hawkeye padded into the kitchen and came up short at the sight of the Winter Soldier standing in front of the sink, washing dishes.
"Oh. Uh – hi?"
Bucky swung around to face him, a startled look on his face. Upon seeing Hawkeye, his face closed off, and he gave a stiff nod.
Hawkeye looked around for the coffeemaker and gave a mournful little sound when he saw it was empty.
"Oh, man," he said sadly. "No coffee."
Bucky studied him for a moment, then headed for the coffeemaker. "I'll make it," he said quietly.
