When she had started questioning things, she became scared. It was never a good thing to question an identity. It could cause a lot of problems. And that was something Airsa didn't like.
She was starting to question if she was a girl. Something she didn't like to think about. What would everyone think if she said she wasn't a girl? Would anyone even believe her? She didn't know and that made things worse.
Honestly, she didn't even know yet. Was she a girl or not? She wasn't sure. She wasn't sure how to tell. She tried reading things online, but she was just getting more confused. So, she didn't know what to do.
Arisa sighed as she pulled a pillow up to her chest. She was currently in her room. The other girls were in the living room. She had said she needed to quick do something and had left. All she had done was hide out in her room for a while.
She started getting high anxiety when she starting thinking about it around them. She needed to take a break from them for a moment. But, she felt she was probably taking too long. They might be getting worried about her by now.
But, she couldn't bring herself to move. She was scared to face them right now. She didn't know what to say.
"Arisa? You done yet?"
Arisa jumped at the voice outside her door. Kasumi had come looking for her. Great.
"I'll be out in a minute." Arisa replied.
She took a deep breath and got up. She looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't look too bad. Hopefully no one would able to notice anything was amiss.
She went to the door and exited the room, "Sorry it took so long."
"It's okay! Let's go back. Everyone is waiting for you!"
The two of them returned to the others. Arisa was questioning if she should say anything about what was going on. She decided against it. She didn't know enough to tell them anything. And if she was wrong, she didn't want to have to deal with having told them too soon.
"We're back!"
Arisa wasn't too worried about it. It was still intimidating, but she also knew that they would probably support her if she did change. It was just a matter of if she determined she wasn't a girl.
