The bareness of the trees on campus signaled the start of winter. As the temperature started dropping drastically, the students of UA all began to wear thick jackets. Once Kamiko stepped out of the dorm building, she exhaled deeply, her breath visible in the cold morning air. "It's pretty cold today," a raspy morning voice broke the silence from behind her. Kamiko looked up to see Shinsou coming out as well.

Her eyes rested on the strange cloth that looked like toilet paper wrapped around his neck. "What's that? A new fashion trend?" she asked.

Shinsou rolled his eyes at the sarcasm in her voice. "Aizawa-sensei of Class A gave this to me," he said. "I'm going to be joining Class A and B in their joint training today."

"Seriously?" Kamiko's face instantly lit up, the corners of her lips stretching upward. "Hitoshi that's awesome!"

The purple haired boy didn't look excited, however. In fact, he looked down, eyes full of worry. It's been months since school started. Those in the hero course had plenty of time to train, and gained a lot of experience. Now here he is, joining in after all this time has gone by. Does he really have any hopes of catching up to them? The girl beside him, on the other hand, was smiling like the happiest person on earth. Kamiko gave him a hard pat on the back. "You got this hero!"

"Augh!" Shinsou stumbled forward, groaning in pain. He turned his head around, brows furrowed, ready to shout at the silver haired girl for using too much force, but swallowed the words back when he saw the ear to ear grin on her face.

"Go get 'em!" Kamiko pumped her fist at him. The teenage boy smiled as he slowly raised his own fist.

"Yeah." The moment their knuckles met signaled the beginning of his path to becoming a hero.

Years later, the teenage boy now turned into a man, his best friend now a woman. She was the one who stood behind him, supported him, gave him the push he needed. Now, she looked at him, tears in the corner of her eyes. Fear, panic, and uncertainty filled those watery silver orbs. "What the fuck are you standing there for?! Go after him!" This time, it was his turn to give her the push she needed.

Shinsou watched as Kamiko chased after the man she loved. Even though a moment ago she claimed that she wasn't certain of her feelings, Shinsou knew that after this is over, both she and Bakugou will finally know how they truly feel towards each other.

Looking back, the Shinsou back then never would have guessed that Bakugou and Kamiko would one day end up together like this. "But now that I think about it, they quite suit each other," he chuckled. The purple haired hero looked down at the coffee table, to see Kamiko's phone and purse still sitting on the surface. "Geez... Even if you're in a hurry don't go forgetting your essentials, you idiot."

He ended up dropping her things off at Ground Hero Agency, where he saw Kaminari and Kirishima. Shinsou shared the news of him staying in this city for the next few weeks, as well as Bakugou and Kamiko's relationship. Kirishima wasn't at all surprised, but Kaminari nearly jumped at the news. "What?! I thought Bakugou was-" the electric hero quickly covered his mouth, preventing him from finishing. He looked around, making sure Bakugou was nowhere in sight. Then he lowered his voice. "I thought Bakugou was gay."

"Hah?! Where did you come up with that?" Kirishima and Shinsou demanded.

"I saw him reading those BL manga the other day! And he was really into it!"

"Dude..." Kirishima and Shinsou both rolled their eyes at Kaminari.

Shinsou didn't stay to wait for Bakugou and Kamiko's return. Instead, he had to go back to his rented apartment to finish unpacking some stuff. Since he brought his cats, he had to make sure to go back and feed them.

At night, Shinsou took out three canned cat food. His cats are quite picky with their food, so they only eat that particular brand of canned food. As Mikan and the others ate, their owner smiled softly and stroked Mikan's back. "And she used to say no guy will ever like her in that way," he scoffed.

Although he wasn't able to finish unpacking everything, Shinsou wasn't going to stay for very long anyways, so he didn't have to get all comfortable and settle in, so he just left the rest in his suitcases and went to bed.

Meanwhile, at Kamiko's apartment, the silver haired woman sat on the balcony with a cup of honey tea in her hand. Bakugou closed the door behind him, and sat himself down next to his girlfriend. "The fuck are you looking at?" he asked as he lifted his head, only to see a starless night sky. He then tilted his head back down, gazing at Kamiko's profile.

"Nothing," she said softly. Kamiko tilted her body and rested her head right against his shoulder. Before, when she cuddled with Bakugou, there would always be a little bit of hesitation, and a hint of flirtatiousness in her actions. Now, simply having her head against him, and his arm gently wrapped around her waist, she felt so at ease, so at home. "I'm just really happy right now."

A ghost of a smile made its way to Bakugou's lips. "Idiot." He closed his eyes, feeling a gentle feather-like breeze brushing against his face while warmth spread in his chest. He gently rubbed Kamiko's arm. The two of them sat there in silence. It was difficult to imagine that merely hours ago the two of them were screaming on the top of their lungs, nearly lunging at each other. Everything became so peaceful, as if it's always been this way.

Bakugou lost track of how long they've been sitting there. When he looked down, Kamiko was already asleep in his arm. He then took the cup of honey tea out of her hands and placed it on the ground. Then, he gently carried her to bed, and pulled the blanket over her. After turning off the lights, Bakugou laid himself down beside her. Not yet feeling sleepy, Bakugou picked up his phone.

The phone screen was the only light in the pitch black room, maybe Bakugou wince in discomfort. He scrolled through the news to see if there are any important events that might be a clue to the League. In his right arm laid Kamiko, curled up against him, arm around his chest. She whimpered softly in her sleep, her chest falling and rising against him. Bakugou gently rubbed his hand along her side, massaging her as he read the news.

He put his phone down on the bedside table and planted his lips against her forehead. He turned his body sideways and wrapped both arms around her. "Good night shithead," he whispered against her ear.

...

"Did anything good happen to you?" In the school cafe, Miyano collected the pages of the manuscript evening it out by tapping it against the table. The new semester finally began, and Kamiko also made the deadline for her manuscript.

The silver haired woman took a sip of the mango smoothie in her hand and set it down on the table. "Why do you ask?"

Her editor flipped through the pages, counting in her head to make sure she didn't leave anything out. "Well just something about you seems different. You're like...much more energetic, and the emotions in your characters are much richer than before. What happened?" Miyano asked. After making sure all the pages were there, she stuffed them into a manila folder, and placed the folder in her bag. Miyano then picked up the half cup of coffee.

Kamiko chuckled awkwardly as she tapped her fingers on the table. A faint blush spread across her cheeks, and she said, "I recently started got a boyfriend."

At the sound of the word 'boyfriend' Miyano's coffee sprayed out of her mouth. Kamiko quickly shifted to her left, dodging the sprays of her spit and beverage. "Hey! That's gross!"

Miyano patted her chest as she choked on the residue. "You? A boyfriend?!" She stared at Kamiko in disbelief.

"You know the way you phrased that seemed really offensive for some reason," Kamiko replied as she crossed her arms. "Why can't I get a boyfriend?"

"Sorry sorry. I don't mean it like that," Miyano wiped her mouth with the napkin on the table. "It's just... Is your boyfriend really okay with all those posters in your room? And the shelf full of manga, and the stack of gay porn that you borrowed from your friend?"

Now that Miyano mentioned it, Kamiko thought back to Bakugou's first reaction when he stepped foot into her room. She couldn't help but let out a chuckle as the image of Bakugou's expression flashed in her head. "At first he was totally grossed out, but I think he's used to it by now. He even read everything on the shelf."

Miyano raised her brows in awe. Despite being Kamiko's editor, Miyano was more of an older sister figure to Kamiko. They met each other through a convention where Kamiko was selling copies of her own fanart. She was already familiar with Kamiko's doujinshis from online platforms, so Miyano was the one who suggested Kamiko to start publishing original works. Over the past few years, Miyano has been in charge of Kamiko's manga, but has also been very attentive to Kamiko's personal life.

A smile made its way to Miyano's lips. "Well, as long as you're doing okay." She brushed her lap, as if trying to remove the coffee stains from earlier, then rose from her seat. "I'll be going back now. Call me if you need anything."

Kamiko nodded and got up as well. Because of her situation, Kamiko couldn't meet Miyano in the usual cafe, so she asked Miyano to meet her in school. Now that she delivered the manuscript, Kamiko walked Miyano towards the gate of the campus.

At the gate, Miyano paused. Kamiko stopped as well, confused, while Miyano turned around. "Oh right before I forget," the older woman smiled at Kamiko. "I have a good news for you."

"Eh?"

...

The neighborhood was quiet. A slim, slightly hunch backed man who looked to be in his mid thirties stood in front of a run down apartment. His dark, chocolate brown beard was unkempt, and his clothes were dirty and ragged, indicating his lack of hygiene. The man turned to his left, then right, scanning the area, as if making sure no one saw him. Then, he carefully tip toed up the metal staircase on the outside of the two story apartment complex. Little did he know that there were three sets of eyes on him hidden in the shadows.

On top of a building not far from the run down apartment stood a hero with a binocular in hand. "Get ready," he pressed a finger onto the earpiece as he spoke into the microphone.

The heroes hidden behind the two buildings next to the apartment positioned themselves. The slim hunchback placed his keys into the door knob of the third door from the staircase, and turned it a few times. The door then opened. "Go." on cue, the heroes dashed out of their hiding spot and jumped straight onto the second floor.

Bakugou leapt from the building he stood on and blasted his way over as Kirishima pinned the man down and Kaminari broke right into the apartment, pointing his director plates inside. After Bakugou got there, Kaminari had put down his arm. "Nobody's here," he said.

Bakugou nodded. This was within expectation. Kirishima successfully tied the man down and cuffed his hands together to the railing. He stuffed a piece of cloth into the man's mouth, and joined his friends inside the apartment.

"Let's get this over with," Bakugou grumbled as they roamed the apartment.

"Why, you got plans?" Kaminari asked, wiggling his brows suggestively.

Kirishima let out a sigh while Kaminari let out a shriek as Bakugou kicked him in the ass. "Shut the fuck up and get to work!"

A/N: now that the two of them are officially together, this marks the start of a new arc. Because I'm about a month away from the end of my semester, I'll be taking it slow. I'll try to write as much as possible but please bear with me!
