Hi, I'm back!
I just want to say that the Godzilla and the Mortal Kombat movie were awesome! I would definitely watch them again when I have free time. I'm not going to tell any of you about who died but my god the adrenaline just from watching those were so much fun! I watched them with the real Azril whom I based on in this story.
Let's get on with the story!
Nash's P.O.V
"...And so, it took me three dimensions so far to check out how we could get home," Bryan chattered on as all of us were going to rendezvous with the others. I hope Riana and Azril are handling themselves well.
"So far, you went to one world that has us as video game characters, a gender-bent world where you keep saying that you're beautiful and now another world where our opposites are the personalities?"
"Pretty much," Bryan nodded, peering at Ferra who was sleeping on my back. To be fair, the trip was alright despite Bryan's constant gushing about different dimensions. Then again, he is the guy who could modify a current game to suite his needs or mess with others.
He also explained to me about how Sub Zero came to the camp with Master Hasashi after receiving the message from the Special Forces. The young members of the SF were told to split up to help us. Takeda was here with us, Kung Jin is going to seek out Bo Rai Cho to find our missing Disciples while Cassie and Jacqui are staying behind to work with Kristina.
Not only that but Ermac has made it out alive along with Noob Saibot, who is currently at the White Lotus temple.
Apparently, he's in what Bryan would call: 'Mortal Kombat rehab'. Raiden is going to restore Noob Saibot into becoming Bi Han again, but I have some doubts about it. Since I have played the previous Mortal Kombat games, Bi Han was a ruthless Sub Zero compared to his younger brother.
I wonder if Riana and I might have the same thing like those two cryomancers since she's more in-tune with nature while I am with fighting video games? I feel as if ever since we came to the Mortal Kombat world, she was becoming more confident while I was getting jumped at every opportunity.
"Speaking of which," Bryan's voice made me snap out of my thoughts. "I see Kris over there and she doesn't look happy. Damn, is that Cassie with a black eye?!"
Besides us, it was no surprise that Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage were rushing towards their daughter. I have a feeling Kristina did something because she was walking way behind Erron and Ermac. Both the cowboy and construct seemed off too.
"We will take our leave," Sub Zero's voice made me jumped. "Master Hasashi and I will be heading to the White Lotus temple to check on my brother's recovery. We will see you at the battlefield."
With that, both Grandmasters have teleported, leaving me, the Edenians and Bryan to face what's been left of this heap of mess.
I wonder what's going on?
"Nash!" Kristina cried and tackled me into a hug. I wished she would warn me because I almost fell over. It's a bit embarrassing considering that I swing a hammer and used my strength on that and yet, I'm almost tackled to the ground by Kristina.
"What the hell happened while I was in the Netherrealm?"
"Let's just say some people should mind their own business on who do I hook up with," Kristina huffed, crossing her arms. It took me a while to get what she was talking about.
No...It can't be...
"Are you saying that you have been with Ermac and Erron Black? Both of them?"
Kristina nodded, twirling the loose strands of her hair. Something tells me that we are going to have this talk in private. I remembered how most of the guys in our school won't messed with Kristina knowing how she is our school's number one athlete.
Not since her break up.
"Say, where are Riana and Az-"
"Kristina, you're going too far with how you react! I understand you girls can argue but you almost made Cassie lose her left eye! Not to mention the 500 dollars worth of sunglasses!"
"Well she shouldn't be preaching to me about who should I pick," Kristina rolled her eyes. "I know what I'm doing but you're right. I answer with my fist first before talking."
While both Kristina and Johnny Cage were talking, Mileena and I observed our surroundings. Seems as if everyone was busy preparing for the battles. The stench of blood filled the air ever since me, Riana and Azril were dragged down into the Netherrealm.
"Aww," Mileena pouted behind her mask as I was placing Ferra down. "I missed out all the fun...Oh well, you are back here at the surface, at least!"
"Mileena...Riana and Azril are still missing," I pointed out, trying to process everything together. This is too much for me to handle! Suddenly, Mileena went in front of me and took out both of her sais.
"Step away from him, you snake," Mileena warned who I think it was. The sound of a low hiss was enough to make me stand up straight, darting my eyes around in case there's an attack.
"So you left your sister, Azril and Ferra's brute back in the Netherrealm?!" Reptile appeared from his camouflage. Just by looking into those cold yellow eyes, Reptile's pretty pissed yet there's something else.
"Reptile, I didn't know that they would be dragged down," I told him. I could hear footsteps and shuffling around us, clearly everyone is interested in seeing me fighting this reptilian warrior. "You really don't want to do this, Reptile. What would Riana think?"
Before I knew it, I was tackled while my feet are trying their hardest not to make me fall over. I was really surprised by his sudden attack. I could hear Mileena snarling but she was restricted by Ermac while the Edenians, the Special Forces, Outworlders and my friends were watching this oncoming battle.
"Leave her out of this," Reptile's growled was dangerously low as he flexed his claws for a brawl.
If Reptile wants a fight, so be it!

3rd P.O.V
"Are you certain that this tactic of yours will work?" Malevokas asked, preparing a small vial in his hand with the potion inside.
Azril only nodded. He had struggled to walk while making his way back to where the Draconian warrior was while the effects of the venom was taking its toll on his body. He concluded that if he worked himself out, he'll be dead in an hour's time.
"First two blood magicians enslaving me to be their scrap eater and now I have to deal with a brute and this odd human," Malevokas muttered to himself.
While holding the potion, he was rummaging through a few scrolls and books he had collected to find a spell to reverse the effect. Torr on the other hand was making sure that the creature does not stray away from the current target: Azril.
"She...here..." Azril managed to cough out the words. His mouth was starting to go numb, to the point he knew that if he talked in sentences, he was going to fall over.
If this is how he would die, then so be it.
"Brute, make sure it comes to us!" Malevokas commanded, slightly mouthing the spell that was written in the page he opened. Azril coughed again, this time blood was dripping out of his mouth. He could feel his eyes about to roll at the back of his head.
Just then, all of them felt the ground rumbling. It was Torr, who was almost ramming everything in his path as if something was chasing him. Speak of the devil, the creature was approaching them at a rapid pace with its panting.
"For...give...me...Ri..." Azril breathed out before using the last of his strength before the paralysis kicked in to make him collapse. Seeing how a strong fighter like Azril could be defeated, Torr had to act fast.
The minute the creature began to leap, the brute snatched it by its neck. As it was struggling, Malevokas acted swift by opening the vial with his teeth, hits the creature in the stomach to make it open its mouth before pouring the entire liquid content.
Once released, the creature began to hiss, then cough, having a spasm on the ground before its narrow predatory eyes became wide and puppy-like. The spines on its back lowered and it retracted its claws.
"It does work," Malevokas grunted in approval before turning the creature's face towards where Azril laid. "Hey, you remember him? You poisoned him and now he is dying. Please, try to save him."
The creature tilted its head, sniffing the draconian figure before emitting something similar to a cat's thrilling. Malevokas was a bit disturbed by the sudden change from hostile to docile but the creature was nuzzling his face.
Malevokas, who was disturbed by this, pushed it away.
Azril's cough was enough to send the creature to crouch over him before inserting one of its pointed claws into where the venom has taken place. Slowly, the oldest Disciple was starting to his colours back on his face as he let out a sigh of relief.
"Riana...Kurt.." Azril managed to speak out before approaching the creature. "Do you know who I am?"
When Azril said that, the creature began to whimper and curled itself up with its quills jutting out similar to a hedgehog. Sighing, Azril kneeled down to place his hand on its back, mindful of the quilt. Both Torr and Malevokas were amazed at how calm Azril was after he almost had a near-death experience.
The creature whimpered and made a sound similar to a dog whining if it had done something bad. Azril could only pat its back gently. "Hey, I'm fine now. I'm not dead and we're both alive in this. We'll find a way to infuse the both of you. You want to see our friends again, right? You want to see your Reptile again?"
The creature nodded, eyes still trying to contain tears, which were purple.
"What a strange friend you have," Malevokas commented, flipping a page of the spell book. "She's human and yet she wants to be mates with a Zaterran? I guessed that's why she nuzzled me, thinking it was him."
"Yes and it's debatable whether or not she is going to stay here with him or go home with us. She loves him too much from what I can observe."
Torr made a low grunt while Malevokas gestured to the page. "I found the spell that could reverse the effect. All you need to do is draw out its blood into a small bowl and use blood magic to separate the two entities within the current body."
"In hindsight, we need someone that can do blood magic to reverse this?" Azril summarised.
Malevokas nodded. "Unfortunately your friend here just killed both of them in their own lair. I may served them but I can't conjure any magic. I'll just tear out this page for you to keep if you ever find someone who could perform the spell."
Azril felt stumped. How can they reverse the effects, escape this place and prevent Shao Kahn from merging all of the realms? His own brain was aching for a while since he was dragged down here. He can't think of anyone except Nitara and Skarlet who could do blood magic.
"Then I am at a lost," he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Torr could only sympathise with him while the creature had its head down in shame before weaving its way amongst most of the treasures in the room. "However, the important thing is that we find an exit out of this."
"Very well, I'll show you the way," said Malevokas who was keeping a close eye on the creature in case anything happens. "What is it that your creature friend is doing?"
Azril noticed that it was drawn to a specific sword that had a distinct marking at the hilt as if it were adorned with scales and gems. The blade itself reminded Azril of a cutlass, that was used by pirates.
"Ah, that sword once belonged to a Zaterran queen," Malevokas explained. "There's no used for it now but I can part with it."
The fused creature tilted its head before gesturing at the sword again. Malevokas had a small smile. "Go on. You want to give it to him, right?"
The creature let out a high-pitched screech.
Malevokas led the way, showing the three of them where the exit was. Azril held the draconian's arm. "Aren't you coming as well? You don't have to stay down here."
Malevokas shook his head. "I may be free of their servitude but I have no where else to go. What I can do now is rebuild this place to suit my liking and give it a more...draconian taste."
Azril let out a noise that was his version of a laugh. "Alright. Take care then, Malevokas and thank you for helping out."
The black draconian bowed, having some respect for the oldest Disciple. "Good luck on your journey."
Azril and Torr bowed back, holding the creature between them who was silent. Azril sighed, knowing that they have to move so that Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung's army won't catch up with them.
He understood Riana's situation here since he himself had been a cyborg when he fought the Cyber Lin Kuei.
He prayed that none of them were here while they are escaping.

Nash's P.O.V
"Reptile, you gotta calm down!" I tried to talk some sense into this lizard man. The both of us were engaged in combat while others around us watched. Kitana, Jade and Sindel have already changed into a more comfortable outfit thanks to Bryan's quick thinking.
"You know what you are?" Reptile seethed, lunging at me one more time which tore the fabric of my top. "You are selfish! From the minute you came into this world with one goal to almost getting all of your friends killed."
I wanted to retort back on Reptile's assumption but I was met with a kick in the face. I could feel my mouth bleeding but I don't want to let anyone down now that we have an audience.
Especially not Mileena, Kitana, Jade and Sindel.
"It was nice know you, Nash!" Bryan called out from the back. "I'll let everyone know that you're-"
Bryan screamed when I heard Mileena threatening him with a growl. That's my girl! Things were about to be difficult now that Reptile has camouflaged himself with the surroundings. I am so screwed since I don't have keen eyes or a great sense of smell.
"I never even asked to be here," I called out to Reptile quietly. I used my legs to try and kick where I think Reptile is. He's probably close if I could hear his breathing.
I gasped before I could turn around as a heavy weight was slammed upon me. Reptile appeared again while I am doing my damn best to prevent his claws from scratching my face. I don't care for the fact that my hands are bleeding right now!
"None of us asked to be here," I snapped, frustrated by what I have been experiencing since I came into Mortal Kombat. "You better shut your trap before I make a belt for Mileena."
With that anger, I pushed Reptile on top of me and began to beat him down in fury. My hammer was dropped onto the ground but that's not important. I just want to go home, with my friends and probably bring Mileena along with me so that this world here is not in chaos!
I was so pissed off that both of my fists are painted in green and red blood. His teeth were scattered from each punch to the face. I was about to give Reptile a finishing blow to prove him wrong but...
Reptile began to ram his snout close to my jaw, making me fall over before I felt his heavy weight upon me. I frantically look around but everyone was gone. Where was everyone?
His scales were so rough that I swear they are as sharp as glass. How the hell does Riana work with this?!
Before I knew it, Reptile roared into my face, his acid and saliva are dripping everywhere. I tried to look away to avoid contact with the acid but I felt something wet sliding out of my ear. I almost bit my lips when I felt strong, serrated teeth tearing out the tip of my ear!
My breathing became hard...
"Reptile...you wouldn't want Riana to see you like this?" I asked, clutching my left ear. The Zaterran's growls slowly subsided and he removed himself off of my body. I struggled to get up, gazing at him.
"I know you are hurt just as much as me," I began. "But we have to keep going. This war and all is gonna kill all of us eventually. I trust Azril and Riana will make it out of the Netherrealms unharmed. Don't you trust her?"
Reptile eyed me like the velociraptors from Jurassic Park. His hostile body posture softened, clearly he was thinking about something. I wonder though after spending a good amount of time here with my friends and sister...
Would any one of them want to stay back in this world instead of going home?
Just then, we both heard a scream that was clearly from Bryan. The both of us rushed to where the sound was coming from, above the slope. My bloodied hands gripped my hammer tightly as we witnessed an army heading our way.
The army consisted of giants that looked like a mixture of trolls and orcs from a fantasy game while the smaller ones are similar to that guy we encountered, Kollector. Looks like I have to help since Bryan is in his suit trying to protect himself while Kristina is on a killing spree with Erron Black and Ermac.
What really caught my attention was a clash of yellow and green battling each other out amongst this crazy bloodshed.

3rd P.O.V
Meanwhile at Shao Kahn's fortress, the tyrant himself was readying the second wave of army. He knew that those Disciples and their so called allies would be overwhelmed by now with the first wave of attack.
Though, he felt disappointed that his beloved daughter and wife aren't by his side.
"Rumour has it that someone will take over my place," he sighed to himself as he was mounting on his beast. "Whoever it was, will not surpass my army or my enforcers!"
Just then, a swarm of insects came into view as the Kytinn queen herself emerged. She greeted Shao Kahn with a low bow. Ah, how he remembered capturing her people and destroying most of their surviving drones...
"Emperor," D'Vorah buzzed. "This One has so much to report. One of your former servants, Reptile, is engaging with one of the Disciples! The rest are still under the threat of your army."
Shao Kahn brushed off the little insects closed to him. "That doesn't concern me. What really peaked my curiosity is the whereabouts of the Kollector. Last time I saw him he was with you. So where is he?"
D'Vorah's wings fluttered rapidly. "We split to take down-"
Her words were interrupted when Shao Kahn grabbed her by the neck. He was about to crush her exoskeleton for the words she has mentioned.
"I ordered you to work together with him," the tyrant's voice whispered lowly. "It seems as if you were looking out mostly for yourself and your hive. Am I correct?"
D'Vorah couldn't respond as the grip was getting tighter. She has to think fast to make him release this chokehold.
Suddenly, the both of them heard shambling footsteps and found three figures who were trying to escape. Without a word, Shao Kahn released the Kytinn queen, fingers already pointing at their direction where he ordered her to capture them.
It's funny how when Azril was a cyborg, he became even more emotionless while Riana here is an emotional mess as a fused creature!
This will be the last time we'll see Malevokas but who knows. Now we have to focus on the battle and the aftermath
A better aftermath than what MK11 gave...
Also, Nash will be having these constant battles with Reptile very much so as rivals.
Hope you enjoy!
