"Sugimori Island, or islands." Goh said, standing in front of the display of it on the boat. "I say we explore the underground caverns that connect the four parts, bound to be exciting things down there."
"How, there's no way we can explore that much in a single day." Chloe said.
"Well, there is one way." Ash said. "Four paths, four of us. The boat docks at the Southern island here, which is where Serena can start. Goh you take Chloe over to the Western island, and then head across to the Eastern. I'll take Dracovish and go all the way North to start from there."
"Just remember to take photos this time." Serena lightly joked.
"Yeah, because what I saw yesterday just screams come and see this with the family." Ash said sarcastically.
At the Island(s)
Serena watched as Ash, Goh, and Chloe went off to the other destinations, hopefully they'd meet up down there soon.
"Come on Grookey." Serena said, as Grookey climbed into her arms. "Who are those Pokémon?" Serena asked herself, pulling out her phone.
'Gible the Land Shark Pokémon. Don't let it bite you.'
'Gabito the Cave Pokémon. It's fins are razor sharp, it can move at incredible speeds.'
'Garchomp the Mach Pokemon. Good Luck.'
"Whoever thought putting Rotoms in charge of Pokédexs, needs to rethink this idea." Serena sighed. While the phone was nice, the Rotom inside of it was less than useful for giving her information. The Pokémon however did seem to be minding their own business, just eating a nice meal of rocks.
"Come on Grookey, let's just let them be." Serena said walking by, going further down the tunnel. A stray stone was thrown right by her head from the dragon pokemon.
"Key!" Grookey said angrily, throwing his stick at the Garchomp.
"Oh no." Serena said, as the Garchomp turned around.
"Groo!" Grookey said, trying to be intimidating.
"Not your best idea Grookey." Serena said. "Pancham! Sylveon! I need some more help!"
The Garchomp angrily approached Serena and Grookey, looking Serena directly in her eyes.
"Gar." Garchomp said, holding Grookey's stick.
"You aren't angry?" Serena said surprised. "Thank you for returning the stick."
"Gab." Gabite said, holding up the rock from earlier.
"Umm, thanks but I'm not hungry." Serena said.
Gabite shook their head, holding the stone close to their heart rather than their mouth.
"Oh, you want me to take care of this stone." Serena said. "It's definitely pretty, I can hold onto it I guess."
A roar came from further in the dungeon, whatever it was, was enough to scare off the Garchomp even.
"We should be careful, Grookey if we get into trouble, we need to run. Do you understand?" Serena asked.
"Groo." Grookey said sadly.
"I'm not mad to you, we just need to be more careful." Serena said, with a motherly tone.
On the Western Island
"Thanks for the lift Goh, see you later." Chloe said, as Goh and Skarmory flew off to their island.
Chloe made her way down the caverns several drawings decorating the walls, showing various things from festivals to Pokémon.
"Eevee, take a look at this." Chloe said , wiping away some dirt on one. The drawing depicted a large star in the center, with five symbols around it. One looked like a rock, another like an icicle, one of a lightning bolt, one of what looked like a Charizard, or maybe a Dragonite, and then a circle. "What do you think these mean?" Chloe asked, as she took a photo.
A surge of cold rushed over her, making her shudder momentarily. Pulling out the icicle necklace from under her shirt.
"And then there's you. Where did you come from, and what are you?" Chloe said, holding it up next to the drawings.
A series of tiks drew Chloe's attention away from the wall. Whatever was making them was coming closer, and fast.
"Get ready Eevee." Chloe said, standing to face their opponent.
"Nid!" The pokemon cried out, shooting a bubblebeam at Chloe.
"Who's that Pokemon!" Chloe exclaimed, pulling up her phone.
'Araquanid, The Water Bubble Pokemon. A Water and Bug Type. Despite what it's appearance suggests, it cares for others. If it finds vulnerable, weak Pokemon, it protectively brings them into its water bubble.
"Nid!" Araquanid shouted, lunging at both Chloe and Eevee.
"Eevee use Copycat!"
Eevee lunged back at Araquanid bouncing through the water bubble, and biting down on Araquanid.
"Aqua!" Araquanid shouted, throwing Eevee off and into a wall. Followed by a bubblebeam.
"Boltund! Come on out and use Thunderfang!" Chloe said, sending out another Pokémon.
Boltund bit down on one of Araquanid's legs, causing it to flinch slightly.
"That's it! Eevee use Bite on another leg! Corvisquire! Ponyta! Help them out!" Chloe said, sending out more of her team.
While they were smaller, the four Pokémon were able to pin the Araquanid in place.
"Alright, now Pokeball go!" Chloe shouted throwing it. Her four Pokémon fell over from the sudden loss of their target, as the ball began to shake.
'Ding!'
"I caught it!" Chloe exclaimed happily.
A roar further in the tunnel made the joy cut short.
"If I can fight a Pokémon that big on my own, I can hold my own on whatever made that." Chloe said, as she and her four Pokémon ran further in.
At the Eastern Island
"Thanks for the ride, Skarmory." Goh said, returning his Pokémon. The flight had been a bit hard on the bird, but Goh knew Skarmory would be fine after a nice rest.
"So I'm looking for something to draw crowds to these caves huh?" Goh said to himself. "Well Pokemon usually draw me to places, so maybe I can find some to take photos of, maybe even capture!"
30 minutes of running through tunnels later
"Just my luck, not a single Pokémon in sight." Goh said, kicking a stone. The stone in question, bounced back a fair bit sooner than expected. "Hello, is someone there?" Goh said.
There was no response.
"Hmm, I wonder." Goh said, kicking the stone back where it came from. Once again it came back to him.
"Cinderace, you give it a try." Goh said, sending out his starter.
"Cinder." Cinderace said, happily igniting the pebble, and kicking it towards the darkness.
"Lopunny!" The other Pokémon said excitedly bouncing up to Cinderace.
"Cin!" Cinderace said in shock.
"Lop." The Lopunny replied, blushing.
"Looks like you're having luck with the ladies Cinderace." Goh said with a laugh. "Now if only I had that much luck."
"Cinderace!" Cinderace screamed, running away. The Lopunny happily bouncing after him.
"He-hey wait up!" Goh shouted, running after them.
"Diggersby! Where'd that Lopunny go!" A trainer demanded, turning a corner. They saw a Cinderace running right towards them, Lopunny following right behind it.
"Alright! Two more rabbit Pokémon!" The trainer exclaimed. "Diggersby stop them with Bulldoze!"
The ground shook, causing Cinderace to stumble and fall on his back. Lopunny happily falling on top of him.
"Now use Hammerarm!"
"Cinderace block it with a Blaze Kick!"
Cinderace positioned himself, stopping Diggersby's ear with a kick.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing!" Goh yelled.
"I'm catching that Lopunny, maybe even that Cinderace." The other trainer said. "See I'm a collector of rabbit like Pokémon, and those two, oh they'd do good."
"Well you can't have them. They're mine!" Goh lied. He didn't trust whoever this was.
"Well, how much do you want for them, or if money isn't your thing, how about another Pokémon, I have plenty to pick from." The trainer said.
"They're not for sale!" Goh said.
"Well then, how about a deal. A battle, I win and I get that Lopunny you say is yours, you win and you can keep it." The trainer said.
"Fine, but I don't plan on losing." Goh said.
"Oh and one other thing. Rabbits only." The trainer said with a chuckle. "Diggersby! Bunnelby! You're up!"
"Alright Cinderace, you and Lopunny need to work together on this." Goh said shakily. He couldn't look up Lopunny's moves as that would give it away, and he'd never seen one in battle before, what was he supposed to do?
"Bunnelby use Dig! Diggersby use Hammer Arm!"
"Cinderace kick up some Pyro Balls!"
Lopunny stood back in fear, as the other three tore up the area.
"Diggersby use Bulldoze!"
"Cinderace use Double Kick! Lopunny use…"
Diggersby charged right towards Cinderace, only to be stopped by a ring of hearts coming from Lopunny. Bunnelby chose the wrong moment to come out of the ground, as it was hit by both of Cinderace's kicks.
"Diggersby use Mega Punch!"
"Cinderace use Blaze Kick!
Before either of the male rabbits could close in, Lopunny appeared in front of Cinderace, kicking Diggersby straight in the chest, sending it hurddling back.
"Okay okay. Keep her, just call her off." The trainer said, returning his Pokémon.
"Alright, gulp. Cinderace and Lopunny, return?" Goh said, worried Lopunny might not want to go with him. He was relieved to see the ball immediately catch the Pokémon.
"Hmm, I wonder what was down further from where Lopunny came from." Goh said, heading back that direction.
The Northern Island
"Glad I packed this." Ash said, as he saw the island approaching. He was wearing the rash guard amnesia him had gotten during her time in Alola.
Stepping off of Dracovish, and onto dry land, Ash took a look around. Definite signs of wild Pokémon living here, but none of any conflict. Ash quickly went to work getting some photos, before finding his way into the cave. The northern island was farther off from the other three, so he had a bit of catching up to do in comparison to the others.
"Stay close you two, who knows what might be down here." Ash said. After yesterday's encounter with the Unown, he wanted to be ready. "Wish this was a bit warmer though." Ash said, hugging himself for warmth.
"Stupid Darkrai, stupid hormones, stupid." Ash mumbled. He didn't mind the clothes, he didn't mind being mistake as a girl as much any more, he didn't even mind that he was really the girl in the relationship, he minded that Darkrai had done things to him, things Ash hadn't figured out how to undo. While they were small, and with a baggy shirt could be easily hidden, Darkrai had given him breasts and the start of feminine curves, something Ash wished he'd had a level of control over. "Once we're back home, I'm going to redouble my efforts." Ash said angrily, looking at his phone and his mostly stagnant rating as well. "On everything." Ash added.
"Pika?" Pikachu said, nuzzling up to Ash.
"It's okay buddy, now let's look into this cave." Ash said, carefully making his way in.
A while of going on the only path he had, Ash soon found himself in a large room, with what looked like giant crystals on the floor and ceiling of the cave.
"What are crystals doing down here?" Ash said pulling out his phone to take a photo.
'Regice the Icebreg Pokémon.'
"What, why would you?! Pikachu get back!" Ash called out realizing what his phone just said.
An ice beam shot out from the ceiling striking right where Pikachu had been. Regice coming out from the ice soon after.
"Nice to see you again." Ash said.
A Mirror Shot was fired at Dracovish, sending it crashing into a wall with a cry.
"Pikachu use Iron Tail! Dracovish are you okay?" Ash asked to his Pokémon.
Pikachu struck the tip of Regice, as they locked into combat, and Dracovish began shaking off the attack.
"Dracovish use Bite! Pikachu use Iron Tail above you!" Ash called out.
Dracovish charged forward, locking with Regice's Superpower, while Pikachu destroyed the ice above them.
"REGICE." Regice screamed, sending Dracovish flying into Pikachu.
"Hey Frosty! Over here!" Serena called out, from the other side of the room. "Pancham use Stone Edge!"
"Serena!" Ash called out.
"Are you okay?" Serena asked back.
"Doing better now. Dracovish return! Come on out Heracross! Pikachu use Quick Attack, and Heracross you use Focus Punch!"
Ash's Pokémon sped forward, hitting Regice, causing it to spin back towards Serena and Pancham.
"Pancham use Circle Throw!" Serena called out. "What's the plan?"
"Destroy the bottom ice so Regice can't escape again!" Ash said.
"That'll be hard with our Pokémon on there!" Serena pointed out.
"Then let us help! Ponyta get Pikachu and Pancham! Araquanid get Regice's attention!" Chloe said.
The two Pokémon sped across the ice, Ponyta's hooves crushing it enough to give it traction, while Araquanid slid across it with ease.
'You! Why are you here?' A voice in Chloe's mind called out.
"Get out of my head!" Chloe cried out.
Regice seemed to be taken back from the outburst.
"This is yours isn't it!?" Chloe screamed, holding the icicle necklace. "What was it some sick joke that you kidnapped me to give me this?"
'No, I took you by accident, that was a way of repaying my problems.' The voice said panicking.
"Maybe I should just get rid of it, it doesn't seem like you need anymore power!" Chloe said, holding the necklace high.
'Don't smash it!' The voice called out, as Regice fell to the ground.
"It really is you." Chloe said.
"Chloe what's going on?" Ash called out.
"I think Regice is begging." Chloe said confused.
'Please, it's all I have left of her. If you don't want it or me, fine. Just please don't destroy it!' Regice's voice said.
"Cinderace! Lopunny! Use High Jump Kick!" Goh called out, seeing only Regice going towards Chloe.
"Regice move!" Chloe said, pushing the legendary away, as Goh's pokemon crashed through the ice.
"What in the?" Ash said. "An time flower? What's one doing down there?" Ash asked, sliding towards it.
The flower reacted at Ash's presence, as it showed a young girl in a princess gown playing and dancing with Regice.
"Chloe, is that you?" Serena asked in shock.
"No, at least I don't think so." Chloe said, she had to admit the girl looked a lot like her.
'She was my only friend. And that necklace is all I have left of her.' Regice cried out.
"Here Regice." Chloe said, holding out the necklace. "You should have this if it's that important to you."
"What I don't get is why Regice came to Vermillion that one time?" Ash said, trying to climb back up.
'I came to protect my Princess. I guess, I'm just old fashioned.' Regice said in Chloe's mind.
"You think I'm your princess?" Chloe said, tears welling up.
"Okay, this is getting weird even for Ash's standards." Serena said.
"Look, I may not be her, and I don't want to try and replace her, but if you'd like, you could come with me." Chloe said, holding a Pokeball out. "No more Magic gateways, or telepathy crystals, or kidnapping me though."
'Could we dance like I used to?' Regice asked.
"If you want, we can dance, just maybe not here." Chloe said.
'I would like that.' Regice said, touching the Pokeball.
Back outside the cave
"Two catches in one day, better watch out Goh." Chloe mocked.
"Hey, I caught a Lopunny." Goh said proudly.
"And Regice chose to join me." Chloe said.
"Now all that's left is Regirock right?" Serena asked.
"I'm not sure, take a look at this." Chloe said, showing Goh and Serena a photo.
Elsewhere
"Still not enough." Ash said, this shirt still made it obvious he had breasts, he wasn't sure how much tighter he could get.
"What are you trying to do? Show them off, or hide them away?" Eva asked curiously. "Never seen a girl do what you have, especially since Serena showed up, you don't mind showing off, except up there. Which there isn't much to begin with."
"I'm trying to make them as small as possible, hopefully completely." Ash said.
"I get it, you're going through the tomboy phase, you want to look like a guy to fit in with them, you'll learn to love the girl inside though. Trust me." Eva said.
"No ones told you, have they?" Ash asked.
"Told me what?" Eva asked confused.
"I'm not a girl." Ash admitted. "I know it's odd, but I'm actually still a guy despite how I look."
"Oh, I had a roommate like you once, except in reverse, she was trying to become a guy, he actually was pretty cute when we graduated." Eva said.
"I'm not trying to be a girl though, these." Ash said emphasizing his breasts. "Weren't supposed to happen."
"Well, what about a binder?" Eva said.
"How's a fancy folder supposed to help?" Ash asked.
"Different kind of binder. My roommate used to wear them to make him look flat chested. He eventually had a more permanent solution, but you might be too young for that one just yet." Eva said.
"So what section would those be in?" Ash asked curiously.
"You'd have to order one online, once we're back to mainland, I can help you look though." Eva said.
"Thanks Eva." Ash said.
"Don't mention it. I'm happy to help, and maybe my research can even find a safer way for FtM transitioning." Eva said.
"Don't know what that means, but I'll help if I can." Ash said.
