Chapter 56: Dark Eclipse World Breaker

Solomon, the former Captain of Gwain's royal guard had returned to Remnant to pursue his ambitions and to fulfill his desire for vengeance. He and Geo stared at each other, both ready for the battle ahead though it seems the young man has the advantage as Solomon is missing his hands due to Geo's previous attack. "Hahaha!" The creature laughed. "Do not worry my dear student I simply allowed you to slice my hands off." Black smoke poured out from the wounds and it quickly began to take form. "See! Good as new." He cracked his new knuckles but Geo remained silent.

"Ah yes! I know its quite impressive, isn't it? My new body was made by the Dark God himself can you believe it? Hahaha!" Solomon felt confident. "This body was designed to be a powerful weapon against your pretty girl with the silver eyes. Meaning her powers won't affect me as much as the other Grimm and to boost that my soul is human." His Dark Aura quickly surrounded him and black lightning cracked around his figure. "Today, I will have my vengeance on you and your whore!

Even after that Geo stayed quiet and simply looked at him. "What? Are you scared, little boy? Pathetic." His expression was of contempt. "Look at yourself! You used to be a proud warrior, you killed those who stood in your way and you showed no mercy! But now you are surrounded by cowards and fools who believe they are heroes, what a joke! You all follow a path that will bring nothing but death!" Then Solomon sighed. "Ahhh! This reminds me of-..." A fist slammed against his face catching him off-guard and with such an impact he was sent crashing against a large stone.

"You talk too much old man!" Geo shouted with anger.

"Ahh! You will little shit!" He slammed his fist against the stone behind him and cracked it. "Come here! I will rip out your beating heart!"

Both of them charged towards one another with incredible speed. When they clashed a sudden gust of wind removed almost all of the snow beneath their feet. Geo swung his blade but Solomon blocked it with his left arm which was covered with bone-like armor. Then he reached to his sheath and forced it inside Solomon's mouth breaking a few of his teeth. "Caster Shot!" He pulled the trigger and a purple light glowed inside his mouth for a few moments until it exploded. "I hope that shuts you up!" But when the smoke cleared his enemy was barely wounded leaving him surprised.

Solomon grabbed the sheath and pulled it out. "You made some improvements, good. But not good enough!" He punched Geo in the stomach, causing the boy to spit out saliva. Then he followed with a punch at his face. "You burned my insides but that won't be enough!" Solomon raised his claw and then he brought it down aiming at his opponent's face again. "I know your plan. My ambitions will turn into reality after I rip out those silver eyes from her skull!"

Geo let out a grunt as he blocked the strike from his old master. The young boy was pushed back from the weight of the attack, but as he was sliding back, he aimed the barrel of his sheath in the opposite direction he was facing and fired. "I don't care about your ambitions! I won't let you touch her!" He was launched forward, Geo then spun around himself as Solomon rushed towards him. While he was spinning, he slashed the monster's unprotected back but before the young man could land his leg was grabbed. "What?!"

"Not so fast brat!" Solomon brought him down and Geo's back slammed against the ground making him scream in pain. "Lovely music to my ears. Let's hear it again!" He brought him but before he could do anything Geo delivered a fierce punch into the creature's gut causing him to loosen his grip on the boy's leg and drop him. The young Casterwill quickly got up and jumped backward to gain some distance.

"Ahhhh! Geo! Why are you with these people?! Since when do you care about saving a bunch of people you never met?" Solomon was curious, but his enemy wasn't in the mood to talk. "Haha! You can be friends with them and talk like them but we both know the real truth don't we? Whatever you do won't change the type of person you are." Solomon's Dark Aura grew stronger. "You say you hate to fight but look at this!" He looked at his surroundings and Geo did the same.

"Your point?"

"You enjoy this." He replied. "This is where you can truly be yourself! All that talk about having a normal life is pure bullshit, I have seen you knee-deep in bodies when we attacked those bandit camps and I remember seeing your smile while soaked in their blood." Solomon smiled. "People like us weren't made for a normal life, and you know this because I can feel your thoughts betraying you. Aiden turned you into a monster but you kept being one of your own free will because, in the end, you love to kill."

The large Grimm began to approach the young warrior. "Look at them, their souls are not tainted by the scars of wars between man but one day they will also see the truth. Your precious Ruby might be a hero but she's naive too naive in fact." His gaze turned towards the red girl. "She is just using you just like all the others did before her. You are the son of Salem, heir to the dark throne of the Dark God, your destiny is to kill the silver eyes."

"...My destiny?" Geo looked at his blade, and he saw his reflection. The ground beneath them began to shake, his purple Aura was growing like wildfire. "Destiny can go to hell! I forge my own path!" The ground cracked as the pressure coming from his power increased immensely, purple lightning cracked around him. "I don't care about what people see me as! I am who I am!" Two large black arms with oversized hands erupted from his back, they are covered with bone-like armor and purple markings. "I don't fight for good and I don't fight for evil! I just fight for my family and my Queen!" His figured seemed to be on fire as the snow around him melted. "I know she can bring this broken world together. But if the Kingdoms in their greed for power and corruption try to move against my Ruby then I will destroy them!"

"Hahaha!" Solomon laughed. "And you call yourself a hero?!"

"I never said I was." Geo dropped his blade. "Like you said old man, I AM THE MONSTER!" He clashed violently against the former Captain. Since he had done his transformation his Aura had become strong and it seemed they were evenly matched so far. Each time their fists met it caused a shockwave to appear around them. Solomon grit his teeth as his stomach was smashed by the young boy's powerful fist. "Go back to hell!" Yelled Geo as he brought down his overgrown Grimm hands towards his enemy's figure.

"Rahhhh!" He caught the large hands but it was clear he wouldn't hold out for long. "I've waited a long time for this!" He began to lift the hands up.

"And you're going to get what you deserve!" He delivered a fiery punch into the creature's face, sending him against a Manticore. "Annoying brat!" As he brought himself up the Grimm roared at him like it was threatening him. "Shut up!" He pierced the Manticore's skull with his fingers and then twisted its neck, after that he ripped out his head and threw it at his opponent. Geo jumped to the side and avoided it but Solomon was counting on it, he opened his hand and a red marking began to glow. "Chaotic Blast!" A blast of dark Aura was sent straight towards the Casterwill and he was completely engulfed by the large blast. "Hahaha! This feels like hunting!"

"And you're the game!" Shouted Geo as he smashed Solomon's ribs with his fist, followed by an uppercut. "How would you like to die old man?"

"Don't make me laugh!" Replied Solomon as he punched a kick to the boy's ribs. "Let me ask you the same question!" He smashed Geo's face with a strong punch that sent him flying through the air until he crashed into the snow quite far from his position. "It's over!"

"Not quite!" Said a female voice from above. When he looked up a fist covered with fire landed on him releasing a large wave of fire. Yang jumped back and smiled. "You shouldn't be looking at me like that, maybe you should have paid more attention to your surroundings."

"What?" He looked at the ground and saw several red shells surrounding him. "This fight is not yours blondie! Stay out of it!"

"That's where you are wrong!" Replied Yang. "You mess with my friend you mess with me, you bastard!" She snapped her fingers creating a small spark. "Burn to ashes!"

A large explosion erupted as all the shells blow up at the same time. The huge fireball could be seen for miles but Yang remained still, she had a feeling that killing this monster was going to take a lot more than a simple explosion. "Aaaahhhhh!" Yelled the figure within the flames. "Smart move, just for that I might keep you as my pet. After I rip out your throat to make sure you never talk again!

"Not if I rip out yours first!" With a burst of speed, the fiery blond girl launched at him and began to launch numerous blows but Solomon was able to parry them with his own moves with such an ease which caused Yang to get even angrier in her advances. The former Captain took advantage of that for he suddenly dodged one of Yang's attacks toward his face causing the young girl to be caught off guard by the sudden move.

Solomon smashed her face with his fist. "We are not done yet!" He swung his claw at her shoulder causing Yang to wince in pain as she felt the sharp claws slicing through her skin, the blood flew into the air and then another punch was delivered to her face which sent her backward but the huntress remained up. "Now if you don't want that to happen again stay out of my way!"

Yang's Aura was unleashed without control as the fire burned around her. The embers from the flames danced around her figure. "You think that's enough! IT'S NEVER ENOUGH!" She shouted releasing more flames into the area, her eyes turning red with rage. "Dragon Fist!"

Her fist slammed into Solomon's chest making his eyes widen in shock as fire completely covered his form before he was sent flying towards the air, then he crashed into several big rocks. "D-Dammit...I-I think I used too much." Her eyes returned to normal and her Aura was decreasing at an alarming rate. Unfortunately, the moment she took her eyes off her enemy a small rock hit her injured shoulder with perfect aim and speed. "Ahhhhh!" Suddenly Solomon appeared behind her and grabbed Yang's hair, then he pulled her up. "Go fuck yourself!" She spit into his face.

"Hahaha! I love feisty women!" He hit her gut violently. "I shall make you scream girl." With his free hand, he slashed Yang's stomach. "Let's start by pulling your entrails out first but don't worry I will make sure you won't die, I want my new toy alive and well. I just have to teach you who owns you now. Hahaha!"

Yang quickly punched him but it did nothing. "That tickled sweetie. Let me show you how you should punch someone!" He readied himself to attack.

"Soul Burn!" Yelled a young boy as his cane pierced the monster's flesh. It immediately unleashed green lightning inside his body frying all of his organs causing him to scream in pain. "Yang!" He quickly grabbed the girl before she could hit the snown but she was a bit heavy for him. "You alright?" He asked while doing his best to run away from Solomon.

Yang looked at him. "S-Since when did you decide to be brave?"

"I can't just stay still and see you get hurt, even if you don't want any help." Replied the young man. "I-I am here when you need me."

The blond coughed. "Don't...try to act cool." She smiled which made Oscar blush a little.

"I'm fine, I can stand on my own." The blond released herself from his grip and took a stance. "Nothing we do seems to faze him, he just keeps coming."

"There must be a way to beat him if we work together." Said Oscar. Then a small orb suddenly appeared between them. "What the?!" It expanded and engulfed both of them in an explosion. Both he and Yang were laid down on the snow, bodies covered with wounds. "S-So strong...I-I can barely move." He looked at Yang and saw that she was too injured to move as well.

"I am getting tired of this shit!" Solomon was angry. "So who are you kid?! Her boyfriend?" He smashed Oscar's chest with his foot causing blood to fly from his mouth. "I was thinking about killing my student first but I don't want you near my new pet." The creature's razor-sharp claw was aiming at his heart.

Has he brought his claw down Oscar closed his eyes waiting for his death but it didn't come, he slowly opened his eyes. "...G-Geo?!"

"This is between you and me Solomon!" Geo raised his enemy's arm and delivered a fierce punch to his chest sending him a few meters away from their position. The Casterwill looked at Oscar and Yang. "Take her and go back to the train."

"Y-You saved me, t-thank you."

"Don't get sentimental! You were just in the way." He made his way towards his old master. Crap! After all of this, he still stands, not only that but his wounds heal in mere seconds. I have to beat him otherwise he will reach Ruby and...Roary. Geo's Aura surged around him, his figure was surrounded by a bright purple light. "I too have ambitions, Solomon! To see my daughter grow and live in a world where she doesn't have to be scared of monsters!" Purple lightning cracked around him.

The Grimm beast got up. "You are not worthy to be the ruler of Gwain! You are not worthy to be chosen by the Dark God!" His Dark Aura was unleashed to its limit. "This is where it ends!" He rushed towards his former student with speed and rage.

When they clashed the impact was so violent that several Grimm flew off the edge of the mountain due to the large shockwave. "You are beaten!" Yelled Solomon as he punched the boy's face but Geo's fist quickly hit the beast's face in return. Their fists kept connecting with each other with extreme power and violence. Geo's big armored hands began to crack due to the impacts and suddenly both of them broke into pieces when they slammed against his old master's fists. "Only the strong survive boy! I taught you that much!"

"I will change that!" He smashed the creature's face once again. The exchange of fists continued but unfortunately, the young Casterwill's Grimm hand was beginning to crack as well and with just another hit from his enemy it also was destroyed. "Dammit! Ahhhhh! I am not going to lose!" Geo concentrated the rest of his Aura into his last arm. "Dark Eclipse, World Breaker!" When his fist slammed against Solomon's both of them were engulfed by a combination of Purple and Dark Aura, followed by a massive explosion that threw Geo into the air and crashed against the train. Blood flew from his mouth.

"Geo!" Ruby approached him. "No, no! Are you alright?!" She started to panic as she saw him covered with blood but then she heard someone approaching them. Ruby turned and saw the demon Solomon walking towards them with a menacing expression. "You were given a second chance at life and this is what you used it for?!" Her silver eye revealed a faint light that began to surround her body. "I won't let you harm anyone else!" Ruby took a stance.

"Your silver light can't hurt me. And you should look at your situation, my Queen." Said Solomon. "Some of your friends are already too injured to fight and the rest are getting tired sooner or later they will slip and my Grimm will devour them. Hahaha!" He laughed. "But I can spare you, all you have to do is become my Queen otherwise I will simply torture you and break your mind just like your father did to you."

Ruby grit her teeth. "Say whatever you want. I don't fear you, Solomon."

"It doesn't really matter in a few moments my victory will be completed and you will be MINE!"

Geo coughed. "N-No! S-She will never be yours."

"Hahaha! Your words mean nothing to me." He made his way towards Ruby, then he licked his lips. "I won!"

Geo slowly got up and placed himself between his enemy and his lover. Blood streamed down his face but even weak he still remained standing. "G-Geo, you can't fight. I won't let him take you and Roary away from me." Her silver Aura grew.

"I am the Dark God's champion! And now I will have what I deserve!" Has he about to reach Geo and Ruby he suddenly felt something in the palm of his hand. "What?!" A small crack, he then looked at the young King. "What is this?! Why can't I heal it?! You little shit, what did you?!" His hand-formed into a fist and he aimed at Geo but then the small crack quickly expanded conquering all of his arm and then spreading to the rest of the body. "Noooo! I was promised my ambitions would come true! The Dark God Promised! Ahhhhhhh! You will never defeat him none of you WILL!" From inside the cracks, purple lights were emanating and all the former Captain could feel was intense pain. "AHHHHHHHH! T-This is IMPOSSIBLE! I-I AM THE GREAT SOLOMON! DAMN YOU GEOOOOO! I AM SOLOMOOOOON!" With one last scream, his body exploded violently sending several body parts flying everywhere.

"We'll see about that." Said Geo with a serious expression. Without any more Aura left he fell backward but fortunately Ruby caught him. "H-Hey, cookie face." He smiled

Ruby smiled back. "Sup marshmallow."

"Ha! I get it." Geo laughed a little, then he sighed. "Everything is up to you now. Ruby show them your power."

"W-What if I go call Avala, she and her knights can help us." Said Ruby. "I-I don't know what will happen to you if I use my silver eyes. I-I already lost you once and then Penny and Pyrrha! I can't lose you again, I just can't." Tears began to stream down her cheeks. "I don't want to lose anyone else."

Geo placed his hand on her cheek. "Look at me." He smiled. "Am I your enemy?"

"No! I love you!"

"Then nothing bad will happen to me." He wiped her tears. "Ruby, you are stronger than me, so much stronger but you have to believe in yourself as I believe in you." Ruby's lips started to turn into a smile. "You are not alone, I am here with you. We can do this together. I love you, Ruby Rose." Geo kissed her.

At that moment Ruby's eyes unleashed a devastating silver light that engulfed the entire region destroying all of the Grimm creatures.

"SHE DID IT! WE WON!" Yelled Nora happily, then she looked behind her and saw both Ruby and Geo. "YOU DID IT!"

Ruby looked at her lover. "Geo, we did it."

The boy smiled. "You did it, my love, I just gave a hand."

Ruby giggled. "Quite literally." Then she helped him up. " I still can't believe that I was able to do that."

"I can." Replied Geo. "You are a hero, after all, my hero as well and my fiance." Hearing that caused Ruby to blush like a tomato.

"Hehehe!" Laughed the spider, watching from the inside of the train. "Hehehe! Geo Casterwill and Ruby Rose, I think that we might actually have a chance to win."
