Chapter 4: Rekindling Relationships
It's now another morning once more at Canterlot High as the plan to get both of the crowns back was still in effect and the next step is to reunite (Y/N) with his ex-girlfriends. Both (Y/N) and Twilight were now arriving at the school with Spike hiding in Twilight's backpack again as they enter along with the rest of the students that were arriving. While that was going on, Principal Celestia speaks over a P.A. system.
Principal Celestia (On P.A. System): Good morning, students, and happy Thursday. Just a reminder to pick up your ballots for both Prince and Princess of the Fall Formal today. They are due at the time the dance starts tomorrow night, so don't forget to turn them in and make your voice heard.
(Y/N): Sounds like means our deadline is today. While I wouldn't be surprised that people would vote for me. We have to find to find a way to make the whole school vote for you, Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: You're right, but the question is how are we going to that with me being new here? Only you and a few others know me.
(Y/N): I haven't really thought of that, but maybe if we just give a good impression on our fellow students, they'll most likely get on your side considering that this time not a single thing is going to be exposed around the school that embarrasses you. Maybe I can even ask some of my own friends to help us out as well.
Twilight Sparkle: That'll work. Let's do this, (Y/N). Our worlds depend on us.
(Y/N) nods as they both entered the main lobby of the school. Once they were in the halls where the student lockers were, people around were looking at (Y/N) and Twilight together and started whispering some things to each other.
Sweet Leaf: Hey, who's that girl beside (Y/N)?
Sandalwood: Think he's wooed another girl over that he's interested in?
Nolan North: Hey, I've actually seen her before. She actually stood up to Sunset Shimmer like the way (Y/N) does for us all of the time. I think I even heard that's she's running for Princess of Fall Formal.
Blueberry Cake: For real?! She's as brave as (Y/N) if she's going to do all of that. I mean taking on Sunset Shimmer and running for Princess of Fall Formal.
Sandalwood: Still, you think that girl is one of (Y/N)'s new girlfriends?
Curly Winds: Maybe so. (Y/N)'s always been the Prince of Fall Formal and he's stood up for every student in this school, but if that girl is doing the same thing as well, then that's a really good thing of what those two have in common.
Cloudy Kicks: In that case, I'm not only voting for (Y/N) as prince, but the new girl as princess.
Tennis Match: I agree. I'll give them my votes as well.
(Y/N) heard all of these whispers going on around the area and it made him smile that people were on not only his side, but Twilight's as well.
(Y/N): *whispers* Well Twilight, this may be easier than we thought it was going to be. People are not only spreading good rumors about us, but they also may vote for us too.
Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* Really? Then this may be simple for us.
(Y/N): While this is a good start, let's still keep a watchful eye for Sunset Shimmer and her lackeys, Snips and Snails. If we get too comfortable, they may catch us off guard. I have a feeling that when Sunset finds out about this, she's not going to like it one bit.
Twilight Sparkle: Got it. In that case, let's keep building up the progress.
(Y/N) nods as the two continue to walk through the halls, that is until someone grabs both of them and yanks them their way.
Twilight Sparkle & (Y/N): Whoa!
They are then both fetched up in a classroom as Twilights bangs into the front desk and knocks its books off.
Twilight Sparkle: What're you. . .? Why did you. . .?
Turning around, both of them find that the perpetrator has a very familiar head of elegantly curled purple hair and it was none other than Rarity.
(Y/N): Rarity?! What in the heck was that for?!
Hearing that name surprised Twilight as she turned to look at her while Spike also pops his head out to see her.
Rarity: Sorry about that darling. I had to get you two out of all of the commotion that was going on with all of the other students.
(Y/N): I would like a warning next time, thank you very much.
Rarity: Well, I suppose I could've made a more elegant approach.
She then focuses her eyes on Twilight.
Rarity: You must the new girl around the school that I've been hearing about? I see that you have indeed taken a liking to my ex-boyfriend.
Twilight Sparkle: Um, yes. My name is Twilight Sparkle and while (Y/N) and I did just met. . . I do consider running for Princess of Fall Formal.
Rarity: Well now, not to be rude, but make sure that you don't treat him as some tool to use.
Rarity said this while narrowing her eyes at Twilight who gives a sheepish smile.
Twilight Sparkle: *giggles nervously* Don't worry, I'm not planning anything suspicious at all.
Rarity smiles from that before she notices Spike.
Rarity: Oh my! You have a dog too! He is so adorable!
She scratches Spike's chin while the dog himself has hearts in his eyes.
(Y/N): Getting back on topic, why did you pull us in here Rarity?
Rarity: The rumors! They've all been saying that a new girl has arrived here at school yesterday, she stood up to Sunset Shimmer, is possibly a close friend with the Hero of Canterlot High, and finally she is running for Princess of Fall Formal. Is that true?
Twilight Sparkle: Yes. It's all true, actually.
Rarity: Well then you are truly as brave and courageous as (Y/N) is if you are running against the bully queen of Canterlot High, but I must warn you, Sunset Shimmer will try as hard as she can to stop you from even becoming princess in the first place.
(Y/N): You're telling me. I noticed Snips and Snails who are working for Sunset tried to film Twilight yesterday to see if they could get anything embarrassing enough to humiliate her.
Both Rarity and Twilight were surprised to hear that.
Twilight Sparkle: What?! Are you serious?!
(Y/N): Yeah, you'd be surprised of what could happen if they just went a single day filming you, heck maybe even the entire time in the library. Don't worry though, I scared them off before they could even try to film you. Still, I doubt that if they're working under Sunset that they'll let you off easy, we need to keep a close eye on them.
The three of them then heard the classroom door open once more and they look to see Applejack enter first.
Applejack: There you two are. I've been lookin' all over for ya.
She is then followed up by Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy who also enter the room as well.
Fluttershy: Me too.
Pinkie Pie: Me three.
Rarity then gets an unhappy look on her face seeing the other three enter.
Rarity: Oh, you're here.
(Y/N): Why are you all looking for me and Twilight?
Applejack: According to what we heard from Trixie, Twilight's still in the game for runnin' for Princess of Fall Formal.
Fluttershy: At first, I didn't think that you actually wanted to run for princess after what I told you. But after all of the rumors spread around the school, I now realize that you're serious.
Pinkie Pie: Yeah, and a lot of people are already wanting to vote for you instead of that no good, meanie, bully queen Sunset Shimmer.
(Y/N): Well, the next time I see Trixie I better give her a big thanks for all of the help. Seeing that Twilight's not only my friend, but also someone who's determined like me, I didn't mind helping her out at all and made sure that Sunset doesn't try any funny business to stop her.
Fluttershy gets a nervous look on her face before deciding to ask Twilight something.
Fluttershy: *whispers* Um, Twilight? Do you. . . like (Y/N)?
Twilight blushes from that as she was the one who then got nervous as well.
Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* Well, of course. . . Why wouldn't I? He is my friend after all.
Fluttershy: *whispers* But. . . do you like him more than just a friend?
This threw Twilight in a small loop as this (Y/N) is just like her own (Y/N) and while the truth was that she did love him just as much, she tried her best to dodge the question.
Twilight Sparkle: Well. . . I. . .
However, just as Twilight was going to answer that question, Pinkie Pie interrupted her.
Pinkie Pie: Why are you even concerned if Twilight likes (Y/N) or not, Fluttershy? You're not even dating.
Fluttershy: Neither are you. I could ask you the same thing. Especially since you tend not to take anything seriously.
Pinkie Pie: Ugh! Why do you have to be so awful to me?
Rarity: *scoffs* Don't play innocent, Pinkie Pie! You are no better than she is!
She points at Fluttershy who flinched at little from her calling her out. Pinkie then clamps her hands on Rarity's sleeves to shove her back and yell in her face.
Pinkie Pie: And what is that supposed to mean?!
Rarity just ignores her and steps pass her to focus her attention to Twilight.
Rarity: I doesn't matter to me whether you like my ex-boyfriend or not, I would happy to offer up my assistance to get you voted as princess.
She then darts a stern look back at Pinkie.
Rarity: To someone who would appreciate what I have to offer!
These two and Fluttershy waste no time in getting into a lively shouting match perhaps too lively for Spike, who dives into Twilight's dropped backpack and zips it shut. (Y/N) couldn't stand it either as he was getting more and more irritated the longer they went on.
(Y/N): *whispers* See? This is exactly the reason that I broke up with them in the first place! And now they're doing it once more! I can't stand it!
Twilight then puts her hand on his shoulder.
Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* But you know what to say to them. Don't let your temper get the best of you this time. Don't you want to get back with them?
(Y/N) thinks to himself from that as he remembers the times that he had with his girlfriends before they broke up before he sighs and nods solemnly.
Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* Then all you have to do is get their attention and ask them questions.
As she said that however, Applejack intervenes into the argument.
Applejack: Listen to y'all carryin' on! Get over it and move on!
She drops an apple core that she's eaten over the side into a trash can and crosses her arms to mark the last word in this dispute. Or it would be, except for Rarity stepping up with an accusing finger.
Rarity: You mean like how you've gotten over what happened with Rainbow Dash?
Applejack: She said she'd get the softball team to make an appearance at my bake sale. I tell everybody they're comin', and then not one of 'em shows up! She made a liar outta me! That's different!
Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, & Rarity: IS NOT!
Applejack: IS TOO!
The argument starts all over again and (Y/N) continues to watch this all go on and on with a look of annoyance. However, after what Twilight said this may be his one and only chance to settle this feud once and for all. He takes a deep breath to let out some frustration before he stomps his foot and yells.
(Y/N): STOOOOOP! ENOUGH!
This made all of the girls stop arguing once more as they turn their attention to (Y/N).
(Y/N): Listen to me! All of you have reasons to be mad at each other and I can understand that! But this has gone on for far too long that I just couldn't handle it! Don't you four even realize that this is why I broke with you all in the first place?! It's just ridiculous! I need to show you all something actually. Twilight, can you hand me that yearbook?
Twilight Sparkle: Sure.
Spike unzips it from inside of her backpack and holds up the yearbook she found in the library. Twilight takes it before handing it to (Y/N) who opens up the yearbook to show the six of them when they were younger.
(Y/N): Look at this! Don't you all remember that we all used to be friends once? Even the day that I met the five of you, you were all so nice to me and each other.
Applejack: Hmm. The Freshman Fair. Y'all remember that?
The other girls nodded in agreement.
Twilight Sparkle: You all told me that you were once in a harem with (Y/N) and (Y/N) even told me that you were all friends as well before something happened. I believe that something was Sunset Shimmer.
Rarity: Well, it's a nice theory, darling, but Sunset Shimmer had nothing to do with it.
(Y/N): Don't just go assuming that. Give me the full details on what happened. This all occurred nearly at the same time this spring and coming from Twilight, it can't be a coincidence. Every time I see you all with each other, all you do is argue like there's some rivalry between you all. Listen, you girls need to mature up right now and tell us, otherwise I may not even want to hang out with you girls anymore.
They all gasped from that.
Rarity: D-Darling, s-surely you wouldn't go that far!
Pinkie Pie: Y-Yeah (Y/N), y-you wouldn't do that, w-would you?
(Y/N): If I was serious about the breakup then I think that I would be serious over something like this as well! I'm not joking! I don't want to, but if you girls don't stop all of this I may do it!
He said this with a serious expression and the girls look towards Applejack to ask her if (Y/N) was lying about all of this. She nodded in response to all of the girls to confirm that he was telling the truth which made the girls sigh in defeat.
Applejack: Alright sugarcube. . . You're right. Something like this already happened once and I don't want it to happen again. We'll tell ya.
(Y/N): *smiles* Great. Now starting off with you Applejack. You said something about Rainbow Dash missing your bake sale, right?
Applejack: Yeah, Rainbow Dash was supposed to bring the softball team to mah bake sale, but she never showed up.
(Y/N) put a finger to his chin to try and thought hard on what could've happened to make Rainbow Dash miss Applejack's bake sale. It didn't take him long to come up with a possible theory.
(Y/N): Hmm. Applejack, did you ever stop to think that maybe someone told Rainbow that your bake sale was rescheduled, postponed, or in a different location?
Applejack's eyes widened from that before she thinks for a moment.
Applejack: Huh. . . Y'know, I never really considered that.
(Y/N): So you're telling me right there, that you didn't even bother to ask Rainbow Dash or even a single member of the softball team why they didn't show up?
Applejack then gets a guilty look on her face while looking down.
Applejack: No, I guess I kinda just lashed out at her for thinking that she ditched me. We cut off all ties with each other after that. I felt that she had made a liar outta me to everyone that was attendin' the bake sale.
(Y/N) then gives Applejack a sympathetic look on the mistake that she made and places his hand on her shoulder.
(Y/N): See? There's your problem right there, AJ. You let your pride and stubbornness get the better of you again. If you just talked to Rainbow Dash, I'm sure things would be fine.
(Y/N) then turns to his other ex-girlfriends.
(Y/N): Alright, next let's hear your story Fluttershy. You and Pinkie Pie have been arguing the most from what I've seen.
Fluttershy: I was holding a silent auction at the animal shelter, but Pinkie Pie interrupted the whole thing by bringing fireworks and noisemakers. You know that was supposed to be a serious event that I was holding. . . but Pinkie Pie ruined it.
Pinkie Pie: What are you talking about? I got a text from you saying that you didn't want a silent auction. You wanted a big party!
Fluttershy was both surprised and confused by that statement.
Fluttershy: I never sent you a text!
Pinkie Pie: You didn't?
(Y/N) then get's an idea as he snaps his fingers.
(Y/N): That's it! Pinkie, let me see that text message on your phone.
Pinkie hands (Y/N) her phone and he takes a close look at it before looking over at Fluttershy.
(Y/N): Hey, Fluttershy. Didn't you say that the animal shelter is usually busy at the time during noon?
Fluttershy: *nods* Yes, why?
(Y/N): Well, here's your problem.
(Y/N) shows Fluttershy the text message on Pinkie's phone and when she saw the time and date of it, it made her gasp in shock.
(Y/N): Someone was posing as Fluttershy to tell Pinkie Pie a story of how you thought the animal wanted loud noises. I bet that culprit was none other than Sunset Shimmer.
Rarity: You don't think she's the one who's been sending me those e-mails, do you? Every time I volunteer to help with the decorations at a school function, I get an e-mail from Pinkie Pie saying she has plenty of volunteers! And then I find out she's done everything herself!
Pinkie Pie: I never sent you any e-mails!
Applejack: Maybe Sunset Shimmer is the reason why Rainbow Dash didn't show up to mah bake sale.
(Y/N): Then that's where I finally come in.
Everyone then gives their attention over to (Y/N).
Rarity: What do you mean, darling?
(Y/N): Remember that all of this was going around the time that the Spring Fling dance was just about to start?
Rarity: *sighs* Please don't remind me of the drastic humiliation that I went through.
(Y/N): *chuckles nervously* . . .Right.
Twilight Sparkle: So Rarity, from what I've heard you're the girl who ran for Princess of the Spring Fling?
Rarity sighs dejectedly from that before she answers that.
Rarity: You're correct, Twilight. I was the one who ran for Princess of Spring Fling.
Twilight Sparkle: And at the time while you were still with (Y/N) in a harem, you thought of grabbing a dance with him when that came up, right? Explain to me all of what happened that made you quit.
Rarity: It's. . . quite embarrassing for both him and me. (Y/N) was delighted that someone like me besides Sunset Shimmer was going to run for Princess of Spring Fling instead. At first, my run was going rather smoothly. . . before one day it was all ruined. I was just splitting up from both (Y/N) and the girls after school before I went over to Carousel Boutique and I. . . I. . . (Y/N), can you please finish for me? I'd rather keep some of my dignity than not have it at all.
(Y/N): *sighs* Apparently, she was by herself making out with a mannequin and pretending that it was me as her prince. While most people found her to be the laughing stock of the school, it was rather embarrassing for me as well to hear. People were laughing, pointing at her, or even teasing her. How the video was taken you ask? Snips and Snails of course. After the recording was leaked to the school, Rarity had no choice but to drop out and quit running for Princess of Spring Fling.
Twilight Sparkle: And I'm guessing that Sunset Shimmer won instead?
(Y/N): Yeah, but as usual I reject her offers since she's such a bully to everyone.
Twilight Sparkle: Then that all sums it all up. Sunset Shimmer was the one who sent you all of that misinformation to mislead you all into thinking they were coming from all of you, so that your friendship would be broken.
That's when the girls soon realized that with all of this happening at once they had the same reaction for when (Y/N) found out.
They were all tricked and played by Sunset Shimmer!
Rarity: Why in the world would Sunset Shimmer want to end our friendship?!
Rarity said this in an angry tone while the rest of the girls were angry as well.
(Y/N): It's not just your friendship, Rarity. She also must've planned for me to breakup with you girls as well.
The girls all gasped in shock from that too.
Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, & Rarity: WHAT?!
(Y/N): Yeah, those reactions are about equivalent to how I felt about it as well. Sunset Shimmer didn't want the competition to expand anymore once Rarity got involved with running for Princess of Spring Fling. She probably thought that if one of you were to run, then it would be possible that you all would've ran too. Sunset Shimmer didn't want to take any chances so she tried to break all of your friendships with each other as well by using messages and pretending to be each other. It's also why Sunset sent Snips and Snails to spy on Rarity too. She probably knew that with enough support from us that she would win without a problem at all. But the mannequin incident made it backfire horribly and she did at the time you all stopped being friends too, so that Rarity would have no chance at all of winning and she dropped out instead. However. . . that's where I'm the tip of the iceberg. . .
Fluttershy: *gasps* (Y/N), you don't mean to say that. . .
(Y/N): Yeah, she knew that I of all people would support my own girlfriends, so once she broke up your friendships all she had to do was keep the hatred going. . . and it worked to the point to where I would snap and just want to break up with you four and Rainbow Dash. She then thought that I would have no choice, but to date her as well since I don't have a girlfriend, but she's wrong about that. I would NEVER date her after all of what she's done. . . She's the one who staged me to break up with all of you.
Hearing that explanation made the girls so angry that they snapped.
Applejack: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! NOT ONLY DID THAT NO GOOD BULLY TRICKED US, BUT MAH BOYFRIEND AS WELL?!
Pinkie Pie: I knew that she was a meanie, but I never thought that she would go so far to do something SO mean that it got to my sweetie too!
Rarity: Oh, she is going to get it!
Twilight Sparkle: Girls calm down! I know you're angry about knowing the entire truth now, but don't let all of your anger blind you from what's more important.
(Y/N): She's right. She said the same thing to me as well.
Twilight Sparkle: By the way, (Y/N), it's not just Sunset Shimmer who was at fault for breaking your friendships, but you all as well.
(Y/N) and the other girls were confused by that.
(Y/N): My fault?! How is this my fault?!
Twilight Sparkle: While it's all true that Sunset Shimmer did all of those bad deeds to spread misinformation, but none of you even bothered to look at them. You girls assumed that it was each other and just bluntly said that it was all because of each other for either not showing up or ruining events that you planned. You could've just talked this all out in the first place and everything would've been fine. (Y/N), I hate to say it but breaking up with your girlfriends didn't solve the solution for anyone, not even you. While Sunset Shimmer is half the reason this all happened, you could've asked your girlfriends how this all had happened instead of trying to divert them from even thinking about it. . . Do you really think that's what a good boyfriend would even do?
(Y/N) went wide-eyed and look over at his exes who were also surprised at Twilight's claim, but they all then look down in guilt as they knew that she was right.
Applejack: Twilight's right, y'all. We should've talked about what happened between us and checked to see if those e-mails and text messages were really sent by us, but instead we just let our pride get the best of us and fell for Sunset's trickery.
Rarity: Indeed. Pinkie, I'm so sorry for not showing up to help you with the decorations or even thinking that you didn't need my help at all.
Pinkie Pie: It's okay Rarity and Fluttershy, I'm sorry for ruining your silent auction.
Fluttershy: It's okay Pinkie Pie. We were all deceived by Sunset Shimmer's tricks.
(Y/N): . . .And I guess that just leaves me to apologize.
The four girls looked towards (Y/N) who rubs the back of his head in slight shame.
(Y/N): While I did think that I was trying to help end your arguments, it continued because I didn't bother asking how the situations happened in the first place. I was trying to let you girls forget about it, but that just made things worse. I guess I should take some of the blame for the breakup to happen as well. . .
The four girls smiled at (Y/N)'s apology.
(Y/N): I'm sorry you four. I was a terrible boyfriend. The solution was just right in front of my eyes and I didn't notice. I don't suppose you all. . . want to get back together? In a harem again?
This made his former girlfriends smile as they all looked at each other with beaming smiles before they all group hugged around (Y/N) surprising him.
Applejack: You kiddin'? Yer the one and only guy that I love sugarcube.
Rarity: Of course. There's no other person that's as brave, daring, and charming as you (Y/N) that I would love any more.
Fluttershy: It's okay, (Y/N). I'd love to be your girlfriend again.
Pinkie Pie: Yeah! Me too! There's nobody else that's as sweet as (Y/N) that I'd want to squeeze so tight!
(Y/N)'s shock then turned to happiness as he returns the hug to all of the girls and Twilight just smiles at the reconciliation of their relationship. The five all held their hug for a minute before they broke apart.
(Y/N): Well, there still one more individual missing from this entire party. Let's go find Rainbow Dash and tell her about everything that has happened.
Applejack: I don't know if she'll be willin' to listen though. Ya know how impulsive she can be, (Y/N).
Applejack said this before she held her hat in front of her chest, but (Y/N) puts her hand on her shoulder.
(Y/N): Hey, if Twilight here is able to convince us about all of this. Then I'm sure that you can convince Rainbow Dash too, my apple-themed cowgirl.
(Y/N) then places her hat back on Applejack's head and she smiles and blushes before pecking (Y/N) on the cheek.
Later on in the soccer field, Rainbow Dash is seen kicking some soccer balls into one of the goals. (Y/N) sees her out on the field and smiles that he was able to catch her at a good time. He walks up and calls out to her.
(Y/N): Hey, Dash!
Rainbow Dash turns around and when she notices (Y/N), she gets a rather bored look on her face.
Rainbow Dash: Oh. . . hey (Y/N).
(Y/N) frowns upon that response, but he sighs knowing the reason why she's being like this.
(Y/N): Look, I know it's been quite some time since we actually did talk, but I came here to ask you something rather important.
Rainbow Dash kicks another soccer ball into the school pretending to be a little uninterested.
Rainbow Dash: I don't know if I'll be all ears, but fire away.
(Y/N): *sighs* Rainbow, it's time that you two actually talked for once.
Rainbow Dash looked at (Y/N) with a raised eyebrow.
Rainbow Dash: Talk. . .? With who?
(Y/N) then steps to the side to reveal Applejack who was standing behind (Y/N) the entire time. It didn't take even a second for Rainbow to frown seeing Applejack here.
Rainbow Dash: Why did you bring HER here?
(Y/N): Because there is something that Applejack here needs to say to you and I don't want another argument between you two. I know that you've been bummed since I broke up with you, but don't you trust me?
Rainbow Dash looked at (Y/N) who had a desperate look on his face before looking at Applejack who just nodded in agreement to what (Y/N) said. She thought to herself for a
second before she makes up her mind.
Rainbow Dash: Well, I guess if it's not a waste of time. I'll trust your judgement and listen to what Applejack has to say to me.
(Y/N): *smiles* Thanks, Rainbow. Now I'll just give you two some space so that you can talk it out.
(Y/N) walks away from both Applejack and Rainbow Dash before he joins the rest of the girls who were sitting on the bleachers watching the whole thing. Some of them got nervous to see how this conversation was going to go. It went on for a minute and nothing bad was happening so far as the two of them were talking to each other.
Rarity: They're actually talking! That's a good sign!
Applejack breaks into a smile, then Rainbow, and they both embrace several seconds later.
Pinkie Pie: Hugs! Ooh, hugs are always good!
The two then began to walk towards the rest of the group as Rainbow was carrying a soccer ball in her arm.
Applejack: Somebody, and I think we can all guess who, told Rainbow Dash that my bake sale had been moved to a different day. Dash showed up with all the softball team and thought I'd cancelled on her!
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, I never realized that Sunset Shimmer was the one behind this whole ruse.
Rainbow then gives (Y/N) a slight smug look.
Rainbow Dash: So (Y/N), AJ told me that you're also getting the harem back together as well. Does that mean I'm back to being your girlfriend as well?
(Y/N): *smirks* Did I once a highly athletic rainbow girl that's the captain of every team out here?
Rainbow rolls her eyes from that before she pecks (Y/N) on the lips making him chuckle a little as he finally has all of his girlfriends back together again.
Rainbow Dash: I've also heard that this girl here that's running for Princess of Fall Formal here was the one who ultimately found out and told you about Sunset Shimmer breaking up our relationship too.
(Y/N): You got that right. She did all of this to avoid the possible competition that she may face if anymore of my girlfriends competed for Princess of Fall Formal. And to try and see if she could catch me if I was single.
Rainbow Dash: *growls* I can't believe that! That good for nothing bully tricked not only me, but my boyfriend too! Just wait until I get my hands on her!
(Y/N): Calm down, you reckless airhead. I know that you probably would want some vengeance for all of what Sunset's done, but you can't let that blind you over your friends or else you could do something that you'll regret. Plus, you should know that we're all at fault as well and that includes you.
Rainbow Dash: Huh? How?
(Y/N): You never bothered to try and talk everything out with Applejack or tried to confirm if everything happened. You kind of let your arrogance get the better of you, but then again I'm kind of the same way as well since I could've just asked you all questions as well. But instead I was just tried escaping the whole thing by breaking up with you. So I should say that I'm sorry Dash.
Rainbow looks at (Y/N) before she smiles.
Rainbow Dash: I'm sorry too, (Y/N). And to the rest of you all as well. I should've been a better friend and talked things out with AJ instead of assuming it all was her fault.
(Y/N): Hey, as long as you understand then you're still the awesome girl that I know and love. Let's just try and not do anything stupid next time.
Rainbow Dash: Heh, no promises.
(Y/N) rolls his eyes before they both let out a small chuckle. Rainbow then turns her attention to Twilight.
Rainbow Dash: So new girl, you're lookin' to dethrone Sunset Shimmer and become Princess of the Fall Formal, huh? I even see that you've taken a liking to my guy as well.
Twilight blushes and looks away before nodding embarrassingly.
Rainbow Dash: Well, if you're brave enough to stand up to Sunset Shimmer then I guess I'll support you for taking her on as princess. All you gotta do is beat me in a game of one-on-one soccer.
Twilight was shocked to hear that while (Y/N) raised an eyebrow.
Twilight Sparkle: What?
Rainbow Dash: First to five goals wins.
Rainbow then does a bicycle kick, and the ball is suddenly rocketing straight and true toward the goal. A lick of fire briefly splits the air in its passage before it hits the net.
Rainbow Dash: One-zip!
(Y/N): Uh, Dash. . . Not to say that you should lose, but you're completely one sided in this match. I mean I've been with Twilight for a little bit now and. . . compare a top athlete with a smart bookworm. You'll mop the floor with her in no time!
Rainbow Dash: Heh, thanks for the support (Y/N).
(Y/N) gives Rainbow Dash a bored look.
(Y/N): That wasn't exactly a compliment. . .
He then turns over to Twilight who had a nervous look on her face.
(Y/N): *whispers* Look, I've played against Rainbow Dash and I doubt that she's going to get her ego straight, so just go with the flow and. . . maybe the odds will be in your favor?
(Y/N) shrugs his shoulders at the end of that, but that didn't exactly give Twilight any more confidence as she was dumbfounded that Rainbow Dash could beat even (Y/N) in a soccer game.
Twilight Sparkle: Well. . . no harm in trying, right?
Twilight get's up to go and try to face off against Rainbow Dash, but as she did, (Y/N) heard the sound of a twig break confusing him before he turns out to see a couple of bushes slightly moving and not only that, but some quiet voices were coming from it as well.
Snips: *whispers* No one heard us, right?
Snails: *whispers* I-I don't know. . .
Sunset Shimmer: *whispers* Quiet or someone WILL hear us, you idiots!
Facing the bushes, (Y/N) got a serious look on his face before calling out to the others.
(Y/N): Rainbow, your game can begin in just a second as we've got a couple of eavesdroppers spying on us. And I know exactly who they are! Come out and reveal yourselves, you dumb cowards! You're not going to fool me by hiding in those bushes!
(Y/N) shouted that before pointing at the said bushes and seeing that they were caught, the three people who were whispering came out to reveal themselves to be Sunset Shimmer along with her two henchmen, Snips and Snails. She glared at the two.
Sunset Shimmer: I told you that hiding in there was a bad idea!
Seeing Sunset Shimmer brought a huge shock to the rest of the girls.
(Hu) Mane 6: SUNSET SHIMMER?!
(Y/N): Yep! It's her! In the flesh!
Sunset Shimmer: What are you all even doing together. . .?! WHY are you even together?! I thought you all weren't friends anymore.
Applejack: Well, ya thought wrong ya no good weasel as we know the entire truth now! We know that it was you who was sendin' us all of those emails and texts to trick us into thinkin' that we're the ones who set it up in the first place.
Pinkie Pie: Or how you tricked me into bringing fireworks and noisemakers to Fluttershy's silent auction!
Rarity: Or how you deceived me into thinking that Pinkie Pie needed no help at all with the school functions and how you sent Snips and Snails to spy on me and record me kissing a mannequin and posted it for the entire school to see so that I would have to drop out of being Princess of Spring Fling!
The two lackeys who were responsible for that themselves then looked away from the group whistling in a non-subtle way.
Sunset Shimmer: I have no idea what you're talking about!
Rainbow Dash: Don't think that you can get away with lying Sunset! We know that you planned all of those yourself so none of us would have the chance to support each other even if we did run for Princess of Fall Formal!
Sunset Shimmer: And so what if I had? I won all of those other times and I will win again this time.
(Y/N): No! You won't!
(Y/N) steps to go to Sunset face to face.
(Y/N): I know all about your little plan to not only break up their friendships, but also my relationship with them as well!
Sunset's eyes widened in shock from that and (Y/N) could definitely tell by her reaction that she was the one who did indeed plot that.
(Y/N): Seeing how surprised you are, that just means you are the one responsible for it all!
Sunset Shimmer: Hmph! Spare me your accusations! If you'd just comply and had me in your little harem, then maybe you wouldn't be so delusional that you're stuck with five idiotic girls that you hog all to yourself!
The rest of the (Hu) Mane 7 gasped at when Sunset said that straight to (Y/N)'s face as they think that might've struck a nerve or two on him. However, he had an entirely different reaction as he closed his eyes and a smirk built up on his face.
He then started chuckling mischievously confusing every one of them.
Sunset Shimmer: What's so funny?!
(Y/N): *chuckles* Delusional. . .? Idiotic. . .? Seriously? Fine then, if that's what you think then keep those words in that distorted brain of yours, but let me tell you this. . .
(Y/N) serious look then returned as he frowns.
(Y/N): I've known these girls ever since that I arrived here at Canterlot High as a freshman, they were the first ones that I've ever even met to give me such a life here that possibly no one else could have the chance to have. They caught feelings for me that I even reciprocate right at this moment. When I finally got the chance to be with them in a harem, it made us all know that our love for each other is pure. I love those five girls like their my own family! You have NO idea what I went through in the past! SO DON'T YOU DARE PUSH YOUR LUCK TO SAY YOUR SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS AS A BULLY IS FAR MORE WORTHY THAN THOSE THAT I LOVE! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A COWARD WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL FRIENDS IN LIFE!
Sunset kept her angry face trained on (Y/N), but his outburst made her flinch back a bit. She had no counterarguments against that before she huffed and turned to take her leave and both Snips and Snails followed behind her. As she did though, she turned to point back at (Y/N) once more.
Sunset Shimmer: This is NOT over, (Y/N)! I will make you eat those words!
(Y/N): I only spoke for what was the truth! You know it all to be true as well, so don't deny it! Now if you're done, take your leave already and leave us alone.
Sunset storms off in anger until she was out of sight. After that, (Y/N) turned back to the girls who had surprised looks on their faces from (Y/N) standing up for them like that. He then gets a slight guilty look on his face.
(Y/N): Sorry if I went too far. I just had to let out all of the tension that I feeling right there.
The girls all looked at each other before smiling and the walked up to (Y/N).
Applejack: It's alright, sugarcube. You were just speaking what you thought was right.
Rainbow Dash: Heh, and you're telling US that we shouldn't let out our anger like that.
Rarity: Rainbow Dash, don't make it sound like he's a hypocrite. However (Y/N), you were talking with such bravery in your voice. You stood up for us once more and that's exactly why we love you.
Twilight then walks up and places a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.
Twilight Sparkle: Don't think that you did anything wrong, (Y/N). It's completely normal for someone to feel angry at a time like that. However, you did in the right way and at the right time. This shows just how much you care of us.
(Y/N) smiles at all of girls agreeing to that.
(Y/N): Thanks, all of you. I'm so glad that we all got back together.
They all nodded before Rainbow Dash speaks up.
Rainbow Dash: Not a problem, (Y/N). Alright, if we're done now that Sunset's no longer spying on us, let's get our soccer game started.
Twilight's nervous look grew once again as she's definitely nervous of facing Rainbow Dash in soccer.
With the short period of a soccer game going with Rainbow Dash against Twilight, it was soon settled. . . The match was as (Y/N) said to be completely one-sided. Rainbow Dash won five to nothing completely dominating Twilight. Twilight was on the ground panting and out of breath while Rainbow was literally jumping for joy. She soon stopped and walked up to Twilight with a prideful look.
Rainbow Dash: That's game!
The others soon gathered around Twilight to see if she was okay.
Rarity: I. . . really thought you were gonna. . . pull it off there in the end! *laughs nervously*
(Y/N) reached his hand down to help Twilight onto her feet which she accepted as once she got up, (Y/N) allowed Twilight to use him as support to stand since she was way too tired and fatigue.
(Y/N): That was intense. You alright, Twilight?
Twilight Sparkle: *panting* Never. . . better. . .
Rainbow Dash: So what's the plan? How can I help you be princess instead of Sunset Shimmer?
Twilight Sparkle: But. . . I. . . lost!
Rainbow Dash: Of course you lost. I'm awesome! But I'm not gonna help just anybody try and beat Sunset Shimmer. The Fall Formal Princess should be someone with heart and determination like our prince. You've proved that you've got 'em both!
She said that before hugging Twilight surprising her before the other girls cheered and joined in on the group hug as well. (Y/N) did as well as now the entire (Hu) Mane 7 has been reunited in the Human World. With their friendship and relationship with (Y/N) back they are all happy once more.
