Yuu/Strength vs Kagari/Chariot
(Part 2)
Strength: The quality or state of being strong. It is the power. The more you have, the more people you can defeat. But where does Strength come from? Experience? Training? Background? Regardless, the one with the most strength will always win...at least that's what most assume.
The morning light leaked through the curtains and into the room. The light pecked at Chariot's eyes, waking her up. There were two bunk beds in the bedroom, two of which were currently empty.
Chariot looked up at the bed above her. She couldn't sense Dead Master's presence meaning she had probably left to follow Yomi again. Chariot turned over to face the other bunk bed on the other side. Kagari was awake, staring back at her with an intrigued look.
"Hello."
"Morning." Chariot greeted.
"How was your sleep?" Kagari asked, she looked at her other self as if she had just learned something, "Very rare to see you actually sleep."
Chariot blinked a few times, "What do you mean?"
"Usually you patrol the area the whole night with Dead Master. Other times you would just pretend to be asleep."
Chariot flinched. She didn't expect Kagari to notice something like that. Chariot almost never slept back in her world: that was practically suicide since everyone there was out to kill one another.
"Did you dream?" Kagari asked her other self.
"No."
"Have you ever had one before?"
"I don't think so."
"Hmm, interesting," Kagari made a mental note, "How do you feel? Now that you've had actual rest."
Chariot thought about it, "I don't know. My body hurts a bit but I do seem to feel less fatigue... besides that, I'm not sure."
"Interesting." Kagari looked at her other self, at this point she was used to talking to someone who shared the same face as her, "So anyway...how was your chat with Strength last night? Did you try to kill each other?"
"No." Chariot answered as if Kagari's question was a normal thing to ask, "Only if you have a fight with Strength's other self."
Kagari sighed. If she had known that beings from another world were constantly battling to the death over her middle school dramas than she might've been a bit more careful...or would she?
"What did you talk about?"
Chariot stayed silent.
"Did you at least speak words to her?"
"Not much."
"You really need to talk more." Kagari said with a straight face.
"I talk to you."
"I meant to other people."
"Is it really necessary?"
"YES! Its called socializing. Ever heard of it?"
"No I haven't." Chariot stared with a blank expression.
Kagari sighed again. She facepalmed, "Figures."
At first, similar to Black, Chariot didn't talk much at all, even to Kagari. But as months went by of them living together, Chariot slowly grew familiar with the girl's presence.
"Kagari?"
"Yes?"
"What do you think about me?"
The blonde stayed silent for a moment, thinking. She chuckled, "Is that what Strength asked you?"
Chariot nodded.
Kagari was sitting up but went to lie down again as she thought carefully about her answer, "Well when I first met you...I was very... very...I don't know, it's hard to put words to it. I felt a lot of things: skeptical, nervous, confused, afraid and- OH! At some point I thought you were going to steal my identify."
Chariot didn't understand what that last part meant.
"But then I was told who you were and what you do. How you always fought on my behalf in the other world. Then I got to know you more and honestly...I'm glad I met you. I never knew having a clingy twin sister would be so great. Since you're me, I feel like I can discuss anything with you and having you be by my side always makes me feel...comfortable or protected. If that make sense."
"..."
Kagari looked at Chariot. Her other self was silent.
"How about you? What do you think of me?"
"..." She did not answer.
The young girl pouted, a bit annoyed and concerned. She got up from her bed and approached Chariot.
"..." Chariot looked at Kagari, titling her head a bit.
With her hand, Kagari flicked Chariot in the head again.
"Oww." Chariot said apathetically even thought it didn't actually hurt her.
Kagari crossed her arms, "Alright, next time after baking, I'll teach you how to socialize alright."
"Ok."
A punch sent her flying to the outside area.
Yuu continued pursuit. She jumped towards the blondie and threw two punches.
Laying on the ground, Kagari threw her shield in front of her, blocking the attack. But the impact of the punches sent her deeper into the ground.
Five, six, seven more punches dug Kagari deeper. Yuu then grabbed Kagari's metal leg and threw her towards the sky.
Yuu jumped towards her as Kagari fell.
Kagari pulled back her shield while Yuu pulled back her arm.
Her fist collided into Kagari's shield.
A bang occurred in the sky. Kagari crashed landed while Yuu landed softly.
The giant metal arm user sprinted forward.
Still on her back, Kagari threw her shield at Yuu's legs, tripping her.
The blonde stood up. The engines in her metal legs began roaring and steaming. Yuu knew what was was coming.
Yuu defensively raised her arms.
In one sudden burst, Kagari's legs propelled her forward so fast that it looked like she disappeared.
Kagari flew past Yuu and stopped directly behind her back, the blonde has traveled so fast that she had to dig her legs into the ground in order to stop.
A sword pierced Yuu from the back. Spreading her arms, Yuu spun around, back slapping her friend in the check with her giant metal arm. She winced when the sword was pulled out of her back.
Yuu's arms transformed into two gatling guns. She aimed in Kagari's general direction. A barrage of bullets were sent towards her.
Kagari quickly recovered and jumped an incredible height over all the bullets. Her gatling guns were two heavy to lift so Yuu shifted her arms back into metal arms. When Kagari landed a distance away from her opponent, her legs began charging again.
The metal robot legs that Kagari used contained powerful engines that had the ability to launch her forward at an extreme speed. Previously, Kagari herself had no idea how to use that ability but it seemed that the personality that had possessed her had learned it purely by instincts. However, after seeing it multiple times, Yuu observed several patterns:
First, it needed several seconds to charge. Second, she can only go in one direction when using that ability. And third, these burst of speed have a brief cool down. Yuu kept this knowledge in mind when fighting.
Not intending to let that burst happen again, Yuu raised her arms and smashed the ground, causing Kagari to lose her balance. With this chance, Yuu then jumped forward and punched Kagari in the stomach.
Once again, Kagari was sent flying back inside the hallways of the school.
She crashed through the window, shattered glass went everywhere.
Yuu jumped and came crashing through the ceiling. Debris and a giant arm fell towards Kagari. The blonde rolled over to dodge. The sword and sheild user got up and jumped on the wall. Using her metal leg strength, Kagari pushed off the wall and flew towards Yuu, shield in front.
Yuu raised her first giant ogre hand like a stop sign.
Spikes protruded from Kagari's shield.
Their weapons collided and the spikes pierced the palm of Yuu's left giant metal hand. Yuu's arms almost broke at the collision and her foot dug into .
Clenching her other fist, Yuu punched Kagari in the face, sending her flying down the hallway. This created distance between the two. Like a creepy zombie, Kagari got back up with a smile, acting as if there wasn't yellow blood flowing down her face.
Her metal legs began steaming signifying that the engines in them were ready for another burst.
She was still recovering from the previous collision so Yuu prepared herself.
Kagari took off, covering the large distance between the two within a second.
However, timing it almost perfectly, Yuu had jumped to the side a literal second before Kagari took off.
The blonde zoomed passed her opponent who had avoided being sliced in half. Kagari dug her legs into the ground to slow down. To her surprise, Yuu had predicted this as well for she was directly above the blondie.
Kagari could do nothing as she was still in the middle of stopping.
Yuu clenched her fist, intending to finish this battle with one last hard blow.
...
Suddenly, Mary the giant doll spider came crashing through the walls.
The sun shined its fresh light on the early morning as Yuu and Strength were taking a relaxing stroll.
Beacon looked as peaceful as ever. The environment slowly arose from its slumber as students began waking up for class.
Yuu walked in front of Strength, her hands casually on the back of her head, "And then? How did she reply?"
"Ok... That's all she said."
"Chariot doesn't talk much huh?"
Strength hummed in agreement.
"Although I'm quite surprised," Yuu admitted, "I expected her to be a bit more cold."
"Yeah me too."
"So you're friends with Chariot now?" Yuu asked.
"I think so."
"So now what then? You two gonna hang out more?"
Strength shrugged, "Not sure. Do you think I should?"
"Hmm," Yuu thought about it, "might be hard since Chariot clings onto Kagari everywhere she goes."
"True that...Hey Yuu?"
"Yeah?"
"Back then...Did you ever fight with Chariot?"
"Nope. Probably because you and I never met Kagari until Mato introduced her to our group."
"I see...we don't know much about Chariot then?"
"...I guess."
They went back inside, roaming the hallways while continuing their conversation.
They then sensed a presence which made them turn around.
"Well speak of the devil."
A sharp wheel drove itself into Strength's shoulder.
She threw a punch but Chariot dodged. She threw her shield and it crashed into Strength's forehead, almost knocking her out. Using her speed, as soon as the shield hit Strength, she zoomed in, grabbed her shield and slashed her again with sword. Chariot continued her combo: she bashed her shield against her opponents head and then kicked her with her sharp wheels, effectively slashing her.
More of her blood spilled out, Strength threw her fist blindly, Chariot avoided by driving backwards.
The four metal arm user panted for breath. She was losing. Her body felt heavy like she could faint at any given chance.
Not allowing her to rest, Chariot drove toward Strength.
Strength raised up her four arms defensively.
The crowned girl zoomed past Strength and stopped directly behind her. She stabbed her sword directly through Strength's stomach.
Strength gasp as the agony of her body increased tenfold. Her back two arms to grab Chariot and threw her into the sky. Strength fell to the ground on her back as the pain proved too much for her. She watched as Chariot was directly above her. Forcing her arms to move, she aimed her four arms upwards and turned them into gatling guns.
Bullets flew upward towards Chariot. The firing of bullets made the guns feel even more heavy than they were before. The weight of firing cause some of Strength's blood to burst out of her arteries but she kept going.
Chariot was in mid-air so there was no evading the bullets. So she dived towards Strength with her shield covering her face.
Her shield was incredibly durable as in tanked every bullet that hit it. Some bullets slipped past and left sharp cuts all over Chariot's side and legs.
Chariot descended through the upside down rain of bullets, getting closer and closer to Strength like a meteor.
Spikes emerged from the shield.
Chariot crashed landed directly on top Strength, causing a huge explosion.
"Yuu and Kagari seem to be getting along...I just thought maybe we could do the same."
"...Ok..."
Strength couldn't feel her body anymore. She opened her eyes.
There were holes in her body where the spikes had impaled. But she was alive, surprisingly. Was it because she had a supernaturally durable body that could heal quickly, was it the additional defense she gained from her aura...or was it because...
Strength looked up.
Chariot was standing on top of Strength. One of her sharp wheel was pushed deep into Strength's chest while the other was directly above Strength's neck. The sharp edge of Chariot's wheel was a center meter close to slicing Strength's neck.
It was silent as Chariot looked down at Strength's pathetic state.
All she had to do was bring her wheel down and the battle would end...yet Chariot just stood there, staring.
Strength looked at Chariot in the eyes, acting as if a sharp wheel wasn't hovering above her neck.
"You're weak..." Chariot finally spoke, "so weak...how...how do you hope to protect your other self with so little power?"
Yuu found herself being chewed on while inside Mary's mouth before being spat out.
Yuu landed roughly and swiftly switched her arms to machine guns. Mary opened its mouth and fired giant macaroons while Yuu fired bullets.
When she was firing, Yuu heard the engines in Kagari's legs steaming and roaring.
"Darn it! I forgot-"
Kagari unleashed a burst of power from her legs and zoomed passed Yuu, slicing both her legs and leaving a deep cut. Yuu fell to the ground and the barrage of macaroons made its way to Yuu, hitting her hard in every possible place.
The onslaught of macaroons stopped. Before Yuu could get up, Mary stabbed its sharp spider-like legs into Yuu's shoulders, pinning her down. From the air, Kagari came falling and she landed right on top of Yuu with her heavy metal legs.
Yuu coughed blood upon Kagari's landing, "Ack!"
"Good girl Mary...now, you're finally mine...Yoooomi."
A dark yellow aura radiated around Chariot.
Strength's aura was slowly fading and her four metal ogre arms had disappeared.
The giant metal armed user leaned her head back, taking in very slow deep breathes. She did not resist or attempt to escape which confused Chariot.
Chariot wasn't wrong. Strength was weak. The truth was, Strength was probably the weakest among the four. After all, she spent most of her life as a normal human rather as fighting machines like Black, Dead and Chariot.
Yet despite being at Chariot's mercy-
"It's...It's... frustrating huh? Being too weak to protect your other self,"
She referred to that night when Jack ambushed them and left Mato and co in a gory mess. Strength could tell that Chariot was blaming herself for letting those horrible things happen to Kagari.
"Trust me...I know how it feels. I was afraid of fighting cause I was weak...I never had the bravery to fight for my other self...and yet...Yuu came to me..." She stopped to cough a few times, "W-when she lent her hand to me and offered to switch places, I felt cared for, I had met someone who also hated the world they were from."
Chariot remained neutral but did not move from her position in case Strength attempted to escape.
If Strength had the energy, she would've chuckled, "Its funny huh...everyone is our world fought for their other selves and loved them even though our other selves never knew we existed...but it was the opposite for me, Yuu fought for me and gave me her hand when I needed it the most. I've always respected her for that."
Chariot was silent.
"You're right...to be honest I...I am weak. But...I have faith in my other self...because Yuu is strong. That's why you sent Mary to go help Kagari right? You really do love your other-self huh?"
"...You're a coward."
"Maybe, but...Well you only just met Kagari so I guess you don't get it yet but...sometimes... its better to rely on others, even if that person is someone you've been protecting you're whole life."
Chariot didn't move and kept staring. She could've sliced Strength's head off anytime and yet...she didn't. Something made her hesitate. However, Chariot didn't know what it was.
"There's still so many things I don't know about you but you're clearly a good person Chariot... I hope we can still get along after this," Despite the all the pain and agony her body was going through, Strength smiled, "No hard feelings ok?"
Chariot sensed something changed in Strength. She heard a noise.
Strength clenched her fist.
From the side, created from absolutely nothing, a detached giant metal arm emerged from the ground. With quick reflexes, Chariot blocked with her shield but she was pushed back away from Strength.
Strength stood up, still bleeding. Her metal arms were still unequipped. She simply stood there holding no weapons.
Another giant arm arm, similar to Strength's signature weapon, emerged from the ground and levitated above Strength. Chariot raised her shield to block but to her surprised, Strength aimed the giant floating arm in a different direction. It pointed towards where Kagari and Yuu were fighting.
Chariot drove forward. Several metal arms and fist protruded from the ground in front of her, putting her charge to a brief halt.
"Yuu, this is all I can do for you, I know you can do it."
Kagari flinched as she sensed something coming. She jumped back.
Suddenly, a giant metal fist came crashing through the walls and punched Mary the spider, freeing Yuu from its grasp.
"Thanks," Yuu smiled as she stood up.
Mary quickly recovered and faced Yuu's back while Kagari faced her front. Fighting both of them at the same time was going to be tricky. Yuu was also injured so making this battle any longer would end in her lost. She had to end this fast. But Mary was extremely durable, destroying her in one punch wasn't going to cut it...unless.
Yuu took in a deep breath as she remembered one of the combat classes she took during her time here in remnant.
It is not only a force field, remember, Aura is a manifestation of you soul...so if you can concentrate and strengthen your soul...it will surely produce outstanding results in your offense.
Yuu took a battle stance as her bright orange aura shined brightly.
Kagari jumped forward with incredible leg strength. Mary charged.
Yuu's aura surrounded her giant metal arm. Three punches. From all her painful wounds and energy spent, Yuu calculated that she had about three punches before her body drops and falls limp...so she planned to make every punch as powerful as she could.
The first punch hit the ground.
Intense vibrations ran everywhere. The entire ground shook and cracked like an earthquake.
Kagari and Mari stumbled, giving Yuu her chance. She faced Mary and jumped at her, pulling back a powerful aura boosted fist.
The second punch hit Mary's face.
The spider was sent flying, broken into thousands of pieces as if it was disintegrated.
Yuu landed with heavy legs. Each one of those punches were powerful but they times her fatigue by 100 each time. She was in pain and had lost a lot of blood. Her body wanted to collapse, but she couldn't do that. There was still one more opponent to fight.
Yuu faced Kagari. She heard engines roaring loudly as she prepared her final attack.
Chariot drove circles around Strength as hundreds of metal fist emerged from the ground and chased after Chariot. She was faster than all of them but there was a lot of them coming from every angle. Chariot swiftly changed directions, turned and moved to dodge every single one of them.
Strength stood in the middle, crossing her arms.
Strength's new ability: Can only be used while she has her four giant metal arms unequipped. This power allows her to create and control hundreds of smaller copies of her giant metal arms. However, none of them can turn into machine guns
Strength no longer could move. Her injuries from earlier were healing too slowly. It was taking most of her energy just to stay standing. Every single one of her limbs felt heavy and she could feel nothing but pain. Yet Strength stayed standing, as if to honour her opponent.
Chariot drifted with exceptional precision. Each circle she drove around brought her closer to Strength. It took around 1 minute Chariot to reach her and swing her sword. Multiple metal arms emerged from the ground around Strength and formed a dome-like shield around her, blocking her sword.
Another metal arm appeared and punched Chariot hard in the stomach, sending her flying back. Chariot backflipped safety back into the ground. More arms chased after her, Chariot sliced, dodged and evaded. There were too many so Chariot was forced to keep moving further away from Strength who hadn't moved a single step from her spot. The distance between them grew immensely which was a huge disadvantage for Chariot.
Within seconds, a sea of giant metal arms appeared between Chariot and Strength.
More metal arms appeared around Strength and began combining into one gigantic metal arm which was directly at Chariot.
Strength crossed her arms, staring directly at her opponents eyes.
Chariot stared with her usual neutral eyes. Her shield...
Chariot dropped her shield.
She held her sword with both hands, preparing to use her trump card.
Chariot slightly bended her knees... as the engines of her wheels began steaming and roaring.
Yuu no longer could move her legs. They felt numb, it was a mystery how Yuu remained standing. All she could do was prepare and watch as Kagari charged up her metal legs for another burst of speed.
Yuu focused her aura around her right metal fist. She had to time this perfectly with the utmost precision.
Kagari's engines roared even louder for one last time before the sound suddenly stopped.
Yuu's entire body tensed for that exact second of silence.
...
It was as if time slowed down for that entire second.
...
She could almost time it millisecond by millisecond.
...
Then-
Yuu swung her arm.
Kagari's legs unleashed a powerful burst of speed, launching her rapidly towards Yuu.
BOOM!
They collided. The collision sent powerful sounds waves in all directions.
Yuu coughed.
The third punch had hit Kagari's shield.
Kagari's shield cracked into pieces.
The powerful force of the punch would've went straight through the sheild and into Kagari's chest. But out of pure reflex, Yuu curved her attack so that it missed and hit Kagari's sword, knocking it out of her hand and sending the sword flying high into the atmosphere.
The force of Yuu's punch was also so great that even though it missed Kagari directly, the wind following the punch indirectly sent Kagari flying back, crashing into several walls before stopping.
Things went silent.
Yuu panted heavily. Her head felt dizzy and painful.
Her legs and arms were shaking. The giant metal arm that Yuu used to unleash her third powerful punch had disintegrated.
Yuu stumbled as she eyelids slowly closed them-
She heard a sound. It didn't sound good at all. Yuu's eyes snapped forward.
In the distance, Yuu spotted Kagari standing back again.
"Yooomi..."
"Oh come on..."
Kagari raised her foot and stomped on the ground as her leg engines forcefully began charging for another burst of speed.
Chariot's wheels began spinning rapidly in one single place. Hundreds of sparks flew everywhere behind her as Chariot's engines began roaring loudly.
Strength sensed immense pressure and power gathering from Chariot's wheels. Her gigantic floating metal fist was growing by the second.
With every second that went by, Chariot gathered more energy for her wheels while Strength increased the size of her fist.
Enormous amounts of energy gathered in two places, both of which were facing each other. The ground around them vibrated under the presence of these two powerful individuals.
Kagari no longer had her weapons... so she was going to put all her remaining power into one last final kick. Her legs were glowing and her engines roared louder than ever.
Yuu's vision was blurry. She had injuries all over her and was barely standing with only one giant metal arm remaining. But it wasn't over yet. Even though she had used up everything, Yuu had to keep going. She kept pushing all for the sake of her friend.
She clenched her fist. She forced out more power, more aura and more strength. Her last remaining giant metal fist began glowing with her aura.
It was intensely agonizing. Yuu felt like her arteries and veins were going to burst out at any moment, yet she kept moving.
At the top of her lungs, Yuu screamed out a battle cry.
Then, when her sharp wheels were at their peak-
She vanished.
Leaving behind only a large crater of sliced debris.
At that moment, Chariot travelled at an extreme speeds that arguably rivalled Sing-love's. She moved so fast that the trail her sharp wheels left behind were furiously hot as if it was burned by lava.
Kagari took off, unleashing her last burst.
The distance between them were rapidly closing within mere seconds.
She was fast. But Yuu had seen it way too many times by now.
Chariot/Kagari zoomed across the field.
Strength/Yuu threw their final punch.
The sea of metal arms that stood in Chariot's way were all instantly sliced into pieces.
More arms emerged from the ground in front of her way but they were all chopped in half immediately by either her sword or her sharp wheels.
Strength's gigantic metal fist was at least a thousand times Chariot's size, maybe even bigger and it headed directly in front of Chariot's path.
Within the blink of an eye, Chariot swung down her sword and collided into Strength's final gigantic fist.
From the position and angle, Yuu could've evaded the kick and aim for Kagari directly. However, her aura was sensing something. Ever since she had heightened her aura, her senses were detecting something strange: an eccentric energy source, a device of some sort...coming from inside Kagari's metal legs.
With that, Yuu changed her target.
For a second, Kagari was seen right above Yuu. Her legs emitted a bright light of powerful energy.
Yuu clenched her last giant metal fist. Timing and positioning herself perfectly, Yuu gathered all her remaining energy with one final war cry.
Yuu's final punched collided with Kagari's final kick.
Upon impact, Chariot's crown broke.
Her body broke bones in many places and the impact drastically slowed down her speed.
Yet, a second after the impact, she zoomed past the gigantic fist.
As if the fist itself couldn't keep up with Chariot's speed, the gigantic fist...was sliced in half after Chariot passed it.
Her wheels stopped directly in front of Strength who was still staring directly into Chariot's emotionless eyes.
She pulled back her yellow blade.
Strength closed her eyes as Chariot's sword was swung directly at her neck.
...
...
...
Strength smiled.
Chariot froze.
The sword stopped, right at her neck, barely touching the skin.
"Good fight. You win." After saying those words, Strength fell back as all her limbs and muscles gave in to her injuries and fatigue.
The girl who was now wearing a broken crown, remained standing as she looked down at her fallen opponent.

Chariot vs Strength
Winner: Chariot

Chariot had stopped her sword despite so close to slicing her opponent's head off. Yet she didn't.
"...You're strong."
Strength blinked in surprised before smiling, "Thanks..."
She couldn't move her head so she simply looked at the sky with a smile, as if she was very proud of someone, "But the one you should be complimenting is-"
The battle ended. It went silent for both of them even though the chaos outside still ran wild. The results of there impact were immense.
Yuu's last metal arm disappeared as she no longer had the energy to use it.
Kagari just stared... her legs were ripped cleaned off her body by the collision.
Kagari and Yuu both fell to the ground, their heads facing each other.
None of them could move anymore.
Yuu watched Kagari closely, she was still on edge and anxious.
Kagari looked back at her, blinking. At first her expression was blank. Her eyes were open but she was definitely unconsciousness, her eyes looked forward like a distant day dreamer. Despite being unable to move at all, Yuu stayed tensed. She still didn't know whether Kagari was still being controlled or not. Kagari's legs were already fixing themselves but at an extremely very slow rate. If Yuu's aura was wrong and Kagari was still under Jack's control, then this was her lost.
"Kagari?" Yuu called out in hopes that her voice will be heard.
All she could hear at this point was each one of Kagari's breaths. Every second felt like a decade. Yuu anxiously waited for the results of the battle.
She saw her body twitch...and then it moved slightly.
The blonde girl then let out an exhausted, painful groan. Kagari began blinking as a familiar sense of life found its way back into her eyes.
Relief washed over Yuu like a huge waterfall.
The blonde then proceeded to groan louder in pain as she went on to say one of the biggest understatements in the world, "...Oww...it hurts."

Mary & Kagari Izuriha vs Yuu Koutari
Winner: TIE
-o-o-
"Hey Kagari. Are you ok?"
"Hey...Oww, I can't move."
"Don't worry, I can't move either." Yuu replied with a huge grin on her face.
"Oi, isn't that something to worry abo- Oww!" Kagari winced at the pain.
"Try not to speak or move, give your body time to rest."
After staring at the ceiling for a moment, Kagari looked around and found Yuu laying near her, although moving her head increased the pain even more, "Oww...what happened?"
Yuu was silent as if thinking deeply about her answer, she smiled cheekily, "...You. That's what happened."
Kagari snickered, "Ha! Was that pun suppose to be funny?"
The two laughed a bit. Although the chuckles increased the pain and they ended up wincing again. Neither of them could move any part of their body besides their mouth.
"...So...You tore my legs off?"
"Yep."
"Both of them?"
"Yep."
"With a single punch?"
"Yep."
"...Riiiiiight. Of course you did."
"I'm serious!"
The blonde smiled, "I know, I was joking."
The two girls laid there. Around them was a seemingly endless amount of debris that had been created from their battle.
"Thanks." Kagari said in the middle of their comfortable silence.
"Anything for a friend."
They both smiled. For a moment, both had forgotten about all their problems. They had forgotten about the ongoing battle, the endless amount of scary enemies, the rampaging Yomi and the trauma that Jack gave them. It was all just a distant blur with only the happy memories being visible.
"..."
"..."
"Are you feeling ok?" Yuu asked.
"No."
"Thought so."
"How about you?" Kagari asked back.
"Nope."
If it weren't for the injuries, they both probably would've laughed again.
Suddenly, the ground began rumbling as if reminding the two girls what situation they were in.
"Oh no."
"Oh dear."
"Don't tell me that's-"
Confirming Yuu's guess, on the other side of the hallway, alien robot enemies from Sing-love's world began pouring in. It seemed these robot were attracted to any vulnerable prey they could find. With both Kagari and Yuu completely unable to move and Mary still broken, they were just sitting ducks in the middle of a highway.
However, despite all that...the girls were unusually calm.
"You scared?"
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"Cause I can hear her coming already."
Right on cue with Kagari's words, something or someone on wheels, bashed through the wall and through the alien robots at an extreme speed. It happened so fast that there was a one second delay between the swing of the sword and time the robots were chopped in half.
With just one entrance, the majority of enemies had been wiped out as if lightning had struck them down.
Yuu looked closely as the dust settled.
It was Chariot and she somehow turned out to be holding an injured Strength over her shoulder. Strength looked like she was about to throw up.
Chariot placed Strength down near the two injured girls. Chariot then called out, "MARY!"
At the command of her words, Mary was given more energy. It rebuilt itself and automatically went to assist its master.
"Strength?! Are you ok? You look awful." Yuu spoke to her with genuine concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"You don't look fine." Kagari stated bluntly.
"Just give me a moment."
"Did Chariot do that to you? Sorry," Kagari apologised on her other self's behalf, "I-"
"Don't be. None of this is your or Chariot's fault." Strength replied.
Strength then stood up much to Yuu's and Kagari's surprise.
"Alright, I'm going to assist Chariot."
"Already? You literally just laid down? Are you sure?"
"Yep! Like I said, just needed a moment." She began stretching, "You girls went through a lot... Don't worry...leave the rest to us."
The confidence in her voice brought nothing but clam assurance to the girls. With that assurance, the two girls gave in to their exhaustion and passed out.
"Well speak of the devil."
"Hey Chariot,"
The crowned blonde on wheels silently approached the pair.
"Chariot? What's wrong? Where's Kagari?" Strength asked, a bit confused.
Yuu looked around for the other blonde. Wherever Chariot was, Kagari was most likely nearby.
Chariot opened her mouth to speak which on its on was an incredible rare sight for the pair. But what was even more surprising was what Chariot actually said.
"Good morning. How are you?"
Strength and Yuu were utterly flabbergasted, the first thought that came to mind was that they were dreaming, "Huh..."
Chariot continued, "Lovely weather we are having."
"..."
"What are your favourite hobbies? I like to bake and-"
"Chariot please stop, you're scaring me." Yuu said out of actual concern.
The crowned blonde simply blinked in confusion.
"Psst,"
Yuu looked to see Kagari at the end of the hallway, peaking her head out. She looked annoyed, "Just play along."
Yuu awkwardly laughed, "Umm, ah, hi. Yeah the weather is umm, great. I like...hanging out with friends I guess."
"Really?" Chariot asked.
"Yes."
"I see."
"Yeah."
"That's cool."
"Yeah it is."
"..."
"..."
All three of them could hear Kagari face palming in the distance. Chariot's other self came out of hiding and approached them with her arms crossed.
"You both get an F."
"You were marking us?!l"
"What are you two doing?" Strength asked.
"I was teaching Chariot how to socialize."
"You're doing a wonderful job," Sarcasm oozed out of Yuu's tone.
"It's harder than it sounds!" Kagari pointed at her other-self who was still wondering what was the point of talking to people, "I'll love to see you try."
The two girls bickered with each other.
Strength began chuckling while Chariot stared blankly.
With that, the four of them went off and had a fun afternoon together.
Chariot and Strength went to pick up their other selves, behind them was a giant pile of broken alien robots. Within minutes, the two had wiped out the entire area of enemies.
Seeing the injured Kagari made a certain emotion boil up within Chariot's heart, however, she could not describe it. She pulled Kagari closer to her and embraced her otherself in a hug. The legless blonde reacted to the hug by snuggling closer.
The blonde's eyes opened again but barely by much. Half asleep and on the verge of passing out again, Kagari groaned and her mouth opened to speak. Chariot listened closely.
At that moment, with her last bit of consciousness and energy, Kagari whispered some sort of request to her other self's ear before falling into slumber again.
"Don't worry, I will..." Chariot responded as she looked over at Strength who understood and nodded back at her.
"Let's go."

A tornado of chains stood proudly from the ground to the sky, continuing to haunt the land with it's presence.
On the bottom was Black and on the top was Dead Master.
Blood dripped down from Black's face...while Dead remained completely untouched.
The skeletons surrounded them.
Mato and Ruby panted for breath. The horde of skeletons were continuous and the two giant skulls floating by Yomi's side were merciless.
Yomi only stared at Mato with nothing but utter insanity in her eyes.
Even Stella, someone who had fought countless of alien robots and went toe to toe with Sing-love, was slightly intimidated by Yomi's stare. All she could do was watch through Mato's eyes as the battle unfold.

Sorry about the long update even though I said that I was gonna upload more frequently. University has started for me and the assessments are already pouring in which has rendered my progress. Don't worry, I don't plan on rushing any of my chapters and still leaving time to proof read so its all good.
Also, as you noticed, I did add additional abilities to the characters that isn't from the anime. I did this just to add a bit more variety in future battles. I'll put a summary of these skills after this A/N.

The new abilities that I added:
Kagari's Burst: Energy is gathered in her metal legs. In a single burst that releases all that energy, Kagari is able to propel her forward as extreme speeds. However, it cannot change direction.
Chariot's Burst: Similar to Kagari's burst but rapidly faster and stronger. Instead of jumping towards her target, Chariot races towards her opponent with her wheels. The speed she travels during this burst is said to rival Sing-love's speed. Like Kagari, Chariot can only move in a straight line when using this skill.
Strength's Metal Arm Telekinesis: When her four main giant metal arms are unequipped, Strength now has the ability to create more metal arms and control them using some sort of telekinesis. These floating fist can be thrown at her target with the same amount of power that Strength usually puts into her punches. There seem to be a limit to how far these metal arms can be generated away from Strength's main body but the number of metal arms however doesn't seem to have a limit. She also has the ability to combine them into one gigantic arm for more damage however it does seem to drain a lot of energy.
Yuu's Aura Punch: Essentially, Yuu can infuse all her aura, the aura she gained from living in Remnant, into her metal arm for a single devastating punch. Using this skill too much, however, seems to drain a lot of energy and can break Yuu's metal arm, leaving them unusable for a certain time period.
