"Four years we wasted squabbling over a peninsula's sovereignty," The man said. "and our two main battle Titans were nearly shredded by the fleet, but they made it out of the battle without any problems. The press from other nations is commending the Mid-East Forces. Magath, do you have any comments?"

"General," Magath said, "I'm afraid the time has come. That is, humanity has eclipsed the Power of the Titans. While we've been relying heavily on Titans and colonial expansions, other nations have been developing weapons to counter us. As a result, our strategy has come back to bite us on the butt. For the time being, our Titans remain unrivaled when it comes to land battles. However, if aircraft keep advancing at this rate, bombs will soon fall like rain. All while Titans, the devils of the earth, can do nothing but look up and watch."

Everyone looked up the sky, watching the birds fly above them. "Do we not have any Titans with wings?" The General asked.

"General," Magath said, "I'm trying to say that the era of Titans-"

"I know," The General said. "In the near future, we will lose our initiative in war. No, perhaps we already have. Though once the heroes who crushed the Eldian devils, look at what we've become."

Zeke raised his hand. "If I may, General?" he asked.

They looked at him. "Requesting permission to give counsel," he said.

"Zeke the wonder boy," the General said. "go ahead."

He stood up. "We should resume the Paradis Island Operation and recover the Founding Titan," he said. "as Commander Magath was saying, Marley needs to develop better weapons. However, the world will not stand by and wait. Our military needs time to completely restructure. But for that, the newspapers of the world must read this: Marley Occupies Paradis and Wields the Power of all Titans."

"You have one year left in your term, correct?" The General asked.

"Yes," Zeke said, "and I'm concerned that Colt can't inherit the full power of the Beast Titan." Colt noticed that.

"I see," The General said. "In your last year, you wish to redeem yourself for your defeat four years ago?"

"That is correct," Zeke said. "the sick exploits of Grisha Yeager should be brought to an end by none other than me, his former son."

Later, Zeke lit up his cigarette as he walked up the stairs as Colt followed him. "Sorry I bashed you to further my agenda, Colt."

"Don't be. You were amazing. To think, an Eldian being heard by the general. There hasn't been a Beast like you in its history. Sometimes it reminds me of the Founding Titan. Why are you so special? It's not like you have any royal blood."

"Who knows? Guess I'll be dead before we figure it out. Oh...but when you inherit my memories, you'll find out my big secret."

"Secret? What is it?"

"The special way I wipe my butt," Zeke dropped his cigarette and stepped on it. "hope you don't tell anyone."

Suddenly, Magath appeared. "Too late, I want a report."

"Commander!" Zeke and Colt said at the same time.

"Everything down to the hairs on your butt. Do you think Eldians get privacy?" Magath asked.

"No, sir!" Zeke said as he lit up Magath's cigarette.

"You can conquer Paradis in a year?" Magath asked.

"It's more like I only have one year left to try," Zeke said.

"These past three years, every scout ship we've sent to Paradis hasn't returned. Zeke, what do you think of that?" Magath asked.

"Considering 32 ships were sunk, I can't imagine a single Titan was responsible. At least two Titans, including Eren Yeager, must have blocked their escape." He said.

"I agree," Magath said. "If we attack the island, our ships will need support."

"Yes," Zeke said, "but it's more than their Titans that pose a threat."

Later, Galliard was in his room looking out the window. Then Pieck came into his room. "Hey Pock. You did good out there."

"You too. And stop calling me that."

"I'm just teasing. Nothing harmful about that." She sat down on his bed and lie down on it."I'm pooped."

Galliard drank his cup of water and looked at her. "Feels like ages since I've seen you."

She looked at him. "Really? Even though we're always fighting together?"

"Well, we might not have to for a while."

"Let's hope so. By the way, we should go see Gabi and the others."

Galliard stood up. "Alright," he said, "but, first, let's just mess around." He walked to Pieck and kissed her lips and her neck.

She chuckled. "Pock, stop it."

He looked at her. "I thought I said to stop calling me that."

"What are you gonna do about it?" She asked as she kissed his cheek.

"Alright, you asked for it." He took her clothes off, showing off her bra and underwear. He took his clothes off, showing off his underwear. They kissed and began making love to each other.

Later, Falco, Gabi, Udo and Zofia were in the city.

"Hey," Udo said, "If Titans lose their usefulness in battle, what will happen to the Warrior unit and us Eldians?"

"No idea," Zofia said. "A guy that lives near me said the sea is so salty because he pisses in it."

"Gross," Udo said.

"Yeah," Zofia said, "that's what I said."

"Hey," Falco said, "you alright?"

"Yeah," Gabi said, "I'm alright."

"Good," Falco said, "hey guys, look at that."

They noticed soldiers walking to a boat. "They're probably enemy soldiers that survived the Pure Titan attack," Udo said. "once they get home, they'll talk about how inhumane Titan warfare is. It'll just make things even worse for us Eldians! People of the world! Let us kill the Subjects of Ymir!" He walked up to a wall and started kicking it.

"Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!" He said as he was kicking the wall.

"Cut it out, Udo," Galliard said.

"Yeah," Pieck said, "don't beat up the city."

"Galliard! Pieck!" Gabi said as she ran to them. "what are you both doing here?"

"We came to see you all," Pieck said.

"Yeah," Galliard said, "are you guys alright?" He put his hand on Gabi's head. "Gabi."

"Yup," she said.

Galliard put his hand on Udo's head. "Udo."

"I guess," he said.

Galliard put his hand on Zofia's head. "Zofia."

"Same old," she said.

Galliard looked at Falco. "Falco," he said, "You good?"

"Yeah," he said, "I'm fine."

"Good," Pieck said, "that's good to hear."

"Hey," Gabi said, "they said we're going back to Liberio! Let's walk around till then!"

"Hold up, Gabi," Udo said. "Commander Magath said that's not a place kids should go to."

"But I just saw him walking that way," Zofia said.

"You kids are too young for that store," Galliard said.

"Come on," Pieck said. "let's go."

Galliard and Pieck started walking and the kids followed them. A mysterious person sees them walking in the city. Later, the train makes its way to Liberio.

"Did you guys witness the bravery of our Eldian Goddess?!" Colt asked. "Gabi took on the armored train in place of 800 Eldian soldiers!"

"Man, Colt! You stink of booze!" Gabi said.

"Why'd you do it, you big idiot?!" Colt asked.

Gabi pushed him away from her. "Comrades! Do you have any idea why this idiot risked her life?! Well I do! She did it to save all your Eldian butts in the unit!"

The Eldians cheered loudly, the others can hear their voices. "I'll go shut them up," A man said.

"No," Magath said, "just this one night."

"Gabi! Gabi! Gabi!" The Eldians cheered.

"Me! Me! Me!" Gabi said.

"They're lifting her up again," Galliard said.

"Looks like she's having fun," Pieck said.

"They shouldn't let my brother drink," Falco said. "and Gabi gets carried away too easily.

"Still," Galliard said, "it's looking like she'll be the one who inherits the War Hammer Titan."

"Yeah," Falco said, "the girl who risked her life will become a Titan and will live till she's 27. If cannons don't shred her first, that is. Are you fine with that?"

"Falco," Pieck said, "you shouldn't talk like that. If someone heard you, you would be in big trouble."

"Yeah," Galliard said, "you and your family would be Titan weapons."

Falco's eyes widened. "W-Wait! Let me rephrase what I said! I, Falco Grice, hope to be freed by the evil blood of Ymir and my ancestors! I pledge my life to Marley!"

"And what about the honor of inheriting one of the Nine Titans?" Galliard asked.

"I would be proud to be an Honorary Marleyan and be given the chance to display my loyalty to our motherland!" Falco said.

"Do you want to inherit the War Hammer Titan?" Galliard asked.

"What? Galliard, are you serious?" Pieck asked.

"If he wants to inherit the War Hammer Titan, he's gonna have to step his game up," Galliard said.

Galliard, Pieck and Falco looked at Gabi. "Thank you!" Gabi said.

"The one who should inherit it...is me," Falco said.

"Alright," Galliard said, "then you better start training really hard if you want to inherit the War Hammer Titan."

The train arrives at Liberio...
