After the terrible Black Prom of 2013, Carrie White is recovered from the wreck of her house and placed in a hospital where it's revealed that she is in a coma. Afterward, the girl is placed in a cryogenic chamber within a government lab where she is studied.
Mysteriously though, Carrie somehow awakens to a completely different and better life in Chamberlain where both Margaret and Ralph are loving parents, she is the most popular girl at Ewan High and is in a fantastic relationship with Tommy Ross. She is even friends with her former enemies, the Ultras.
What's even weirder is Carrie doesn't question any of it. It's as if this was how her life had always been.
