"Why did we make the ending so sad again?" Uo asked once the curtains fell down and the audience started talking.
"The original was a lot sadder…" Yuki said as he put down Minami.
"Thanks Yuki." Minami said.
"Good job crying, very believable." Yuki said and Minami looked at him confused and placed a hand on her cheeks.
"What…?" Minami looks at the tears on her face confused.
"Er… Minami, you're still crying…" Uo said and Hana placed her hands on her cheeks and wiped away her tears.
"..." The tears continued to fall down her face and Minami felt a similar feeling of deja vu hit her again. "Why is this happening to me?" Yuki placed his jacket over her head.
"Thanks Yuki.." Minami said, flustered, embarrassed and confused all at once.
"We'll see you guys later, if that's alright." Yuki said and placed a hand on Minami's shoulders.
"Y-yeah alright." Uo stuttered.
"We'll see you later." Hana said and they walked away. Once they made it to the hallway, Yuki told her he'll be right back and she had only a second of silence.
"Onee-chan!" A cute voice said and Minami turned around and saw Kisa, who looked a little older and taller behind her. She had a cute happy smile on her face and an adorable outfit on that made her look like a doll. Minami wrapped her arms around Kisa and held her close.
"Hey, Kisa." Minami said gently, though making sure to keep her face down.
"Good job, Mina-chan! The play was really fun." Momiji said and gave her a hug from behind, squishing her.
"T-thanks." Minami stuttered.
"Onee-chan, why are you crying? Did something sad happen?" Kisa asked her and Kisa, Hiro, Haru, and Momij's eyes were all on her.
"N-nope nothing happened, I think something got into my eye that's all.." Minami said and went to grab some tissues but realized that she was still in her costume.
"Here." A familiar voice said and Minami looked down and saw a familiar hand with tissues in it. She grabbed the tissues and looked up. She immediately blushes and looked away. "Good job."
"Thanks, Hatori." Minami said, looking anywhere but at him.
"Young love." Hatsuharu said making her jump.
"We're both older than you." Hatori said and grabbed an ice cream cone from nowhere and gave it to her. "So can it be considered young?"
Minami was about to lick the ice cream cone but blushed.
"Then just love." Hatsuharu said.
"I recorded it all so let's all watch it together later." Momiji said happily and she noticed he had gotten taller, almost Tohru's height. Momiji looked around. "Where's Kureno, he was here earlier."
"Right here." Kureno said, walking forward, he sent Minami a soft smile. "Good to see you again."
She nodded and he looked between her and Hatori with what must've been amusement.
"Did you see Uo?" Minami asked him and he nodded.
"I did, I got scolded earlier, I keep forgetting to text her."
"You never have been one for technology." Hatori said.
"Like an old man!" Momiji said with a big smile.
"Momiji…" Haru said.
"Wha-t?" Momiji asked happily.
"It's almost time to swap…" He explained, Hiro and Kisa were looking at the Mogeta figure, though Hiro was the one with the big blush on his face and happy smile.
"Oops that's right. Sorry, I've got to go back to class for a while." Momiji said with a slightly smaller smile.
"Kisa… Do be careful…" Haru said petting the little girl's head and looked over at Hiro. "... You too Hiro."
"Eh?!" Hiro said shocked.
"You're cute so be careful…" Haru said.
WH-WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" Hiro screamed but in the next second he looked more subdued and annoyed. "... Haru-nii is… Really very kind… towards anyone for no reason... But that sort of kindness, may have caused Rin some pain…"
There was a moment where Hiro had a mental freak out, seemingly scolding himself.
"Why… Do you mention Rin's name there, Hiro…?" Haru asked.
"Gah!" Hiro said.
"Hiro you don't perchance… have a crush on Rin?" Haru leaned forward towards the younger boy's face who went bright red. "Wh-Wh-Wh— WHat are you saying…? Are you serious saying that sort of thing?! Are you that stupid?! Let's leave him and go!" Hiro stomped away.
"Hey Hiro, you're the one who brought it up!" Momiji scolded.
"Hiro-chan…. Feels… about Isuzu-nee -chan…" Kisa whispered.
"It's not that Kisa." Minami said. "Don't worry."
"How do you know that for sure?" Kisa asked sadly.
"Minami, just knows certain things Kisa." Kureno said, with an ambiguous mixture of emotions on his face. "So trust her."
Kisa looked up at Kureno and nodded and ran after Hiro.
There was a moment of silence between Kureno, Hatori and Minami.
"Um.. I have to return my costume, I'll be right back, can you two watch them?" Minami asked, though it didn't make the air around the two men clear.
"We'll see you when you get back." Kureno said, though he was only staring at Hatori.
"O-kay…" Minami said and ran off to return her costumes.
Though when she returned, the air around the two of them was only thicker.
"I'll watch the kids." Kureno said and left the two of them.
Hatori held out his hand and Minami looked down at it.
It made her wonder if she should tell someone, tell him… after all this time, about her truth.
"H-Hatori…" Minami said once she grabbed his hand. "I have something I should tell you…"
He looked at her, his eyes staring into hers.
"What is it?" He asked.
The last words Minami said before Hatori left was "Fruits Basket."
