Yawning and sleep-tousled, Pepper wandered into Tony's lab.

It was its usual orderly mess, full of scattered tools and partially done projects, digital schematics floating in midair and an exhausted genius staring fixedly at a laptop.

The coffeepot was full, so she found a mug that was mostly clean, poured herself a cup, and then went over to Tony and peered curiously over his shoulder at the laptop.

"What's that?"

Tony jumped and slammed the laptop shut. Recovering quickly, he offered her a casual smile. "Morning, sweetie."

Sipping her coffee, Pepper looked at him, waiting.

"Damn it." Tony sighed. "Busted."
