Questions:
1: Are you burning out?
I don't think so, in fact, I feel like I'm adding more and more with each chapter.
To give you an idea, when I start doing Iron Man, I wrote 5,000 words per chapter, now I'm writing out over 10,000 words per chapter, showing that I am adding much more (and yes, I am aware that this chapter is less than 10,000, but that's because I was sorting some stuff with the times to ensure it's a three-parter)
As for the whole loop thing, I think the reason for this is because I want to keep the characters mostly as they are while being able to change a little bit every time. That way, readers who only care about reading a certain film and not binge-watching the entire MCU would still be happy about the reaction without making them seem OOC because their mindset or thoughts change after watching the previous film(s).
Sure, I do have them change, and I try to have them change so they seemed that they learned from the previous films. But sometimes people don't change, some do like Midoriya, but others like Aizawa don't.
In short, I am not burning out, in fact, I also made a new reaction fanfiction of something new that I also want to experiment with, all so I can keep my writing mind more active. I am still doing 'MHA watches the MCU'.
Why I did that, well the title says it all
2: I wasn't happy about Civil War.
Look, I did the best that I could. I understand that there are some parts that I miss, like how Zemo, someone who's quirkless, managed to tear the Avengers apart and maybe other things. Just didn't think or focused on those parts, though I have mentioned them, just didn't expand on things.
Overall, Civil War was an interesting experience since it's not a typical 'hero vs villain' story like the previous films, it has many things that can have many discussions and you can't able to perfect the thoughts or the reactions towards it.
If you don't like it, then that's fine, I'm not forcing anyone to like my story, I just how I see it and I am titled to my opinion and thoughts, but understand that everyone else has different thoughts.
it's now behind us and we can continue with the next film.
3: I really hate Monoma. Please kill or torture him.
Yeah, the guy is a bit of an asshole, monologuing about 1-B being better than 1-A (which should really matter), the guy is just an annoyance.
No, FWM isn't going to torture him or kill him, she managed to luck out from stabbing Mineta in the eye, she can't get away with it twice. So hand-chopping from Kendo is all the punishments he can get.
Plus, you guys wanted more 1-B, so here it is. I'm still learning their names and I might not include all of them, but at least I'm trying. And it starts with the second person I can remember, Monoma. (first is Pony because it's a non-Japanese name from the students' side and reading FFDESS made me remember her more).
Okay, time to start the next film.
The FWM enters the stage, looking at the audience, knowing about the film, she knows that it's going to metaphorically blow their minds.
She gave a queer smile and said advice that's mentioned in the film but has high importance for the watcher who is about to experience the film.
"Forget everything you think you know…"
She then left the stage, causing mass confusion as to the opening credits plays
00:00:00 - 00:00:32
"Woah, a new opening title!" Uraraka first spoke while they watch a brand new Marvel opening, the heroes they have seen in this reality along with some epic action shots while it pulls out into the 'Marvel Studios' logo.
"They come a long way," All Might said, surprised and impressed by how the films had so much that the studio themselves created an opening title that's dedicated to the MCU.
"Wherever they put out these films, I guess they became a popular franchise…"
00:00:32 - 00:00:57
Within the first few seconds of the film, the audience was surprised to see a set of scenery, gotten used to modern cities and places that has a lot of science fiction, it was new to see what looks like an outdoors of a temple.
00:00:57 - 00:01:24
"Look very… Asian looking…" Hagakure said towards the feel of the scene, as it showed people in robes with a man in a hood.
While everyone is getting used to this new style for this reality, they overall have a bad feeling towards the hooded person.
00:01:24 - 00:01:36
Most of the students were jumped when a man that seemed to be the librarian was surrounded by several intruders, with two of them using powers to tie the man's hands.
"What kind of quirk is that?" one of the students asked. "and how come they both have the same quirk?"
"You know these are not quirks right?" Asui pointed out. "they're 'enhanced', as they call it, plus we've seen people with the same powers, ribbit, remember Killian?"
"I guess so," the same student said, "but I wonder what they have this time around."
00:01:36 - 00:01:52
With the bowl in place and the hooded man kneeling down and taking off his hood. Most knew what's going to happen.
"Hold on…" Shigaraki was the first to spoke, "is he?"
00:01:52 - 00:02:01
Many gasps and screams occur when the man, thankfully off-screen, beheads the librarian, with the head landing in the bowl.
"Oh my goodness!" Nejire said, having the urge to vomit, but kept it in.
"Okay… know we know the villain in this film…" Midoriya nervously said as he shakenly writes in his notes about the villain.
Some of the villains meanwhile, smiled at the man getting beheaded, Shigaraki especially. Toga was a little disappointed that there wasn't any shown blood.
00:02:01 - 00:02:21
After the disturbing beheading, the scene shifts to show the villain picking up a book and ripping the page before dropping it.
"Wait, so they're after a single page?" Shigaraki asked, "why not just take the whole book?"
"I have to agree." Kurogiri said, "though maybe there's a reason, that or these guys are stubborn and want to get a certain page.
00:02:21 - 00:02:32
"Okay, new character." Present Mic said, a little glad that there is something that's going to stop Master Kaecilius in his tracks.
00:02:32 - 00:02:51
With the appearance of the hooded figure, Kaecilius and his people ran away, going through a door with a strange effect as they ran.
Midoriya notice, wondering what was going on until the villain gets out of the building.
And ended up in London.
"Wait a minute…" Ojiro spoke, noticing the change of scenery, "so all this time, they were in England?"
While others were surprised, a few, like Midoriya, notice something strange, especially when it starts off at night while London is in the middle of the day.
And with the effects as the men ran out, it's more likely to believe that it's some sort of teleportation.
He notes it down just in case his suspicions were right.
00:02:51 - 00:02:57
After the run, the villains came to a stop when they encounter a wall of shattered mirrors.
"What the?" one of the students said, as they, the teachers and villains were suddenly confused before it shows a full wall of mirrors as the hooded figure approach them.
"Must be her quirk," Midoriya said, writing down a possible reason for what he's seeing.
But this was only the start of the power.
00:02:57 - 00:03:06
With the wave of the hooded figure's hand, the entire environment moved around, making impossible movements as reflections move and moved so much, with the buildings changing shapes.
Seeing it, they were stunned, got no words for what they're seeing.
For a moment, they stay quiet, watching the battle starts.
00:03:06 - 00:03:55
The silence remained, as they were blown away from the mysterious hero' abilities to control gravity and make buildings and structures used against the villains.
"Okay… how is this happening!" Denki asked. "there is no way someone with a quirk that powerful can manipulate those buildings, is she like… a reality warper or something?"
"Maybe," Momo added, "but I might have my own conclusion. Maybe they're just illusions."
"Illusions?" Denki turned to the smart girl.
"Well, most of it is mirrors and she seems to have control over the mirrors, so perhaps, her quirk allows her to have people be in a state where everything is reflective that doesn't affect the world, but the person' perspective."
"I guess that makes sense," Mina said, "but I got to admit, people with illusions are insane."
"Which is why they fall under the restricted quirk category." Aizawa said, "unless used for hero purposes, the user under no circumstances use the quirk as it's potentially dangerous."
"Yeah, I understand that," Mina said, "but it's really cool."
00:03:55 - 00:04:07
"And there goes the villain." Spinner said as Kaecilius and some of his people jump through a portal that he made.
00:04:07 - 00:04:32
And with the villain gone, the mysterious hooded figure walks away, setting the buildings back to where they were and exiting using a similar gate.
Midoriya notices this and has a feeling that both the villain and the hooded figure has and might have a connection towards their power.
00:04:32 - 00:04:50
The scene made a sudden change when it showed hands getting washed and dried, with a person getting ready for something, as they wear a blue outfit, a mask and yellow gloves. Before showing the person fully.
While some of the audiences were a little unsure of what's going on, a certain medical hero notices the person and what he's doing.
"About time." She smiled.
00:04:50 - 00:05:03
The scene then shows him doing his job, with him tapping his foot, using tools onto a person and multiple people watching over him.
In short, he is a surgeon. And the audience is watching him doing surgery.
While a few people were a little weird out, others were very interested as the film seems to focus on this doctor.
In fact, with the word 'Doctor' in the strange, a few of them consider that this surgeon could be the main protagonist of this film.
00:05:03 - 00:05:13
Recovery Girl chuckle when Billy changed the music to more calming music rather than bouncy music.
"Aren't surgeons supposed to be focus, especially in surgery?" Midnight questions the music.
"focus doesn't mean silence dear." Recovery Girl pointed out. "so long it's not a distraction, they can have music playing during surgery if they have experience and good focus."
00:05:13 - 00:05:30
"The guy knows his music." Present Mic said. As he and Jiro like how the main surgeon knows about music and their album release date.
00:05:30 - 00:05:43
"Yeah, it does… feel so good," Jiro said, snickering at the pun he made. Not meant to make the same pun herself.
00:05:43 - 00:06:01
"Oh no…" one of the students said, "it's doctor talks… I am going to be confused by this."
"well not many of us know a lot about information from surgeries or medical doctors," All Might point out, "except one." He looked over at Recovery Girl, knowing that this film is going to interest her.
00:06:01 - 00:06:10
"Well, he has a bullet in his head." Snipe said, "if it's in him, he's most likely dead."
"Yeah, at that point, there's nothing they can do." Kirishima agreed with his teacher.
"Not necessary," Recovery Girl pointed out, noticing the look from the main surgeon named Stephen.
00:06:10 - 00:06:41
"Now that was a close one." Recovery Girl said, "if they were a little too late, then that guy would of accidentally kill a dying man who can be saved."
"Wait, but he has a bullet in his brain." Todoroki said, a little confused. "isn't that death in general?"
"What Stephen said, the bullet is hardened and perfectly placed, it didn't destroy any vital parts of the brain, but the lead would slowly kill him, they need to get the bullet out of the brain to save him." Recovery Girl explained.
"Does that mean we'll see more gross blood stuff?" Uraraka asked, getting prepared if it happens.
"That's how surgery works."
"Good!" Toga smiled, wanting to see blood after the disappointing beheading that should of squirt out blood.
00:06:41 - 00:07:11
The following scene shows the surgery ensues, as Steph cuts the person, getting prepared to remove the bullet.
Though it didn't know any gross stuff, a few students and a couple of teachers were a little weirded out by the surgery scene.
Overall, hoping that Stephen could save the man' life.
00:07:11 - 00:07:21
"Is it wise to do it freehand?" one of the teachers asked Recovery Girl, an expert in many medical fields.
"It's risky." She pointed out, "but possible. Though that means he wouldn't have any guidance to remove the bullet, just have to be very precise."
"How precise are we talking?"
"one wrong move would mean certain death."
"like a game of Operation." Hagakure said.
"more or less," Recovery Girl smiled at the teenage spirit.
Meanwhile, for Midoriya, he noted from what Doctor West said, calling Stephen 'Strange'.
Implying that's his surname, so his full name is Stephen Strange.
"Wait a minute..." Midoriya suddenly realized, going through his notes. Recognizing the name from somewhere.
00:07:21 - 00:07:55
In the preparation for Strange to pull out the bullet, the audience watch, a little nervous, hoping for Strange to save the man, but at the same time, especially when there's an x-ray image of what he's doing, they were a little shaken.
00:07:55 - 00:08:03
"No… distractions…" Recovery Girl whispered. Now locked onto the screen.
00:08:03 - 00:08:31
Watching it unfolded and seeing the bullet being pulled away, up until it's fully removed from the head. Everyone gave a big sigh of relief, as Doctor Strange managed to save a man from a bullet in the head.
"Man, that was nerve-racking." Kirishima said, "and a little weird."
"Yeah, it might be a lot of blood, but it's enough." Toga said, causing some people to stare at her. "what? I love blood, I can't help it."
Meanwhile, for Recovery Girl, she smiled at the Doctor's success on surgery, as it gives a very important impression that she wants to talk about when she sees the aftermath of the surgery.
00:08:31 - 00:08:43
And that good time is when a family was shown, with both Palmer and Strange appearing telling them the good news, with the woman thanking and hugging them.
"You know, this brings a very good message that we don't often see." Recovery Girl started, "when the world is focused on pro heroes, we often forget that there are other heroes that don't give much credit, police officers, firefighters and for this instance, doctors in hospitals."
This caught the attention of both the teachers and students, now focused on the small old lady.
"People are wrap up about saving lives from dangers, they forget that there are other professions to gives medical treatment when they needed it the most. Not even the Symbol of Peace can do what Strange did. He's as much a hero than a pro hero."
The audience starts to think about what the old woman said, sure they thought about cops, and some knew that they don't get much attention, but the same can be said for doctors and firefighters, being shadowed due to the heroes coming along to save the day.
So seeing Doctor Strange being someone who came from those occupations reminded them that Pro Heroes are not the only heroes in the world.
Even All Might agreed with his doctor, as he hasn't had the slightest clue when it comes to surgery.
"Okay, I found the name!" Midoriya called out, catching the attention of him.
"What did you find, dear Midoriya?" Recovery Girl asked.
"Just wanted to say, Stephen Strange had been mentioned before." He stated while looking at his notes that has a list of names, one of them being 'Steven Strange.'
(What? it could either be Stephen or Steven, it wasn't written down somewhere… at least he wrote it down on his notes, don't need to mention that part reviewers, because you don't think about the 'TV anchor in Cairo' during the time. He is noting what people say or think too much about it unless they are important for the film.)
"Back at Captain America: Winter Soldier, the late Agent Sitwell gave out names of people who are targeted for the algorithm towards Project Insight, one of those names being Stephen Strange."
"In other words, Doctor Strange would have been a potential threat to Hydra," Aizawa said, which caused the green hair student to nod.
The teacher looks back at the screen, now interested in this doctor, as he seems to be a hero in the works… well, technically he is already a hero.
00:08:43 - 00:08:50
"Yeah, can't help to save someone in need. As heroes should do" Iida said, missing what Strange really meant on embarrassing Nic by saving his patent for him.
00:08:50 - 00:09:12
With the conversation, it suddenly occurs to who Stephen Strange was like, revealing that he isn't someone who focuses on research and studies that would benefit lives in the future than saving lives in the ER.
"While this act is a little unsettling, it's also a little understandable, since there should be some who study neurosurgery so it would make medical health easier in the future, ER is just helpful for immediate attention." Recovery Girl said.
"I had to agree," Midnight said, "after all, not everybody wants to be a hero or want to save lives, just focus on other things."
00:09:12 - 00:09:20
"Just like the difference between a true hero and a false pro hero." Spinner commented.
00:09:20 - 00:09:32
"Oh here we go again…" Aizawa sighed, hating these kinds of talks between two couples, just like Stark and Potts.
Mina, on the other hand, cared to listen in with their discussion, especially when Strange brought up her colleague dating Nic.
00:09:32 - 00:10:15
"Interesting ideas of calling techniques after themselves." One of the students said, not getting a lot from what they're talking about but at least the talk is over.
Though it still brings more of an image towards Strange, as it seems to be an important and famed neurosurgeon.
00:10:15 - 00:10:43
The scene cuts to Strange getting prepared for something fancy that he mentioned, as they see him getting dressed and grabbing one of the numbers of watches that he owns while showing certificates and awards showing how successful he was in his career.
This caught the attention of Recovery Girl, now finding an award-winning doctor very interesting.
00:10:43 - 00:11:08
"I wouldn't recommend phone calling and driving at the same time!" Iida said, chopping his hand, "it's incredibly dangerous and a distraction for your driving!"
Though many agreed with the student in glasses, they didn't make a big fuss as he did, but feeling a little worried about what might happen when Strange is on the phone.
For now, they listen to his conversation with Billy.
00:11:08 - 00:11:22
"Is… is he serious?" Uraraka asked, a little upset that Billy is bringing up people that need help and Strange is declining them. "so he's not going to not help people because it's not 'worth his time' or it risks his career record?"
"That's… actually a little unmanly if you ask me," Kirishima said.
"While heroes would rescue people who need help, you have to keep in mind that doctors can choose who they can help, especially famed doctors." Recovery Girl pointed out, "plus, there would be other Doctors who can help."
"I understand that, and it's a little different than heroes." Mirio said, "but still… it feels wrong."
00:11:22 - 00:11:37
"I don't like where this is going…" Ibara said when Strange look at the image while driving, fearing that something awful is going to happen, especially when he's in high speed, on a curving road and rain.
00:11:37 - 00:12:09
Then it happened.
Silence fills the room, as they watch Strange Car crashing and drifting away from the road, showing a slow-motion interior of the car, seeing the crack windows and shattered pieces while Strange brace for impact.
All until it landed on a roof than on a fence and just right at the edge of a river. It ends with Strange looking incredibly injured before cutting to black.
Nobody said anything, as they were in complete shock, now worried for the Doctor's survival.
"Don't phone and drive asshole." Shigaraki broke the silence. Causing some people to angrily look at the villain leader, but understand where he's coming from.
00:12:09 - 00:12:17
"Thank goodness he's alive." One of the students said in relief.
"He might be alive, but need medical emergency." Recovery Girl pointed out. a little worried when she saw blood on his bandaged hands.
Toga smiled seeing so much stained blood in this scene, completely satisfying her after the disappointing beheading scene.
00:12:17 - 00:12:43
"I don't like where this is going…" Recovery Girl said, now worried about what happened during Strange's emergency.
00:12:43 - 00:12:51
Then the shot reveals his hands,
Some were unsettled from seeing metal parts being on the hands, though understand that it was used to heal them, it was still a little nerving to look.
"His hands gotten the worst of his injuries," Nezu sighs.
00:12:51 - 00:13:28
"So, he had a rough operation before he could recover." Jiro said, "not to mention the time it look for them to find him and take him to the hospital."
"Pins in the bones, nerve damage in both hands…" Recovery Girl whispered a little upset for what it means for Stephen Strange and his future as a surgeon. Not even her kisses could recover his hands.
00:13:28 - 00:13:39
"As if you can operate on yourself." Monoma pointed out.
"You know he meant that if it happened to someone else, he could have done better than what the other doctors did for him." a 1-B student commented.
00:13:39 - 00:14:10
The following scene shows x-ray showings of Strange's hands, then Palmer helping Strange with his shaving.
It was a nice touch for some of the students, as they understand that the injured doctor can't use his hands.
Up until the bandages were unravelled and showed Strange's hands, shaking so much.
"I guess with nerve damage, Strange can't get his hands to stay still," Mono said, "by that, it would mean he wouldn't be able to do surgery on other patents due to him no longer having steady hands."
"That's correct," Recovery Girl said, "it would mean his career as a neurosurgeon is over…"
Hearing this, some of the students felt bad for him, as it is shown that he was talented a little careless, now all of it is gone because of the accident.
It really shows how one incident could change someone forever.
00:14:10 - 00:14:16
"Don't blame the doctors because of your hands Strange." Kurogiri said, "you caused your accident, they did the best they could."
00:14:16 - 00:14:32
"Is it possible?" Mina asked the medical doctor. "I don't know what he's saying, but sounds like he has an idea to fix his hands."
"As she said, it might be possible, but it's experimental and expensive." Recovery Girl pointed out, "though, I would recommend Strange to keep his hands to heal, experimental operations might result in worsening the condition of his hands."
00:14:32 - 00:15:12
"Honestly, speeding it up isn't the solution," All Might said, "take patience and it will heal… hopefully…"
While he had hope, there was a part of him that tells that Strange isn't going to back to the way he was. Just like what happened to him after his first conflict with All For One, the injury he gotten numbered his days as a hero. But for Strange, his days as a surgeon was over after the crash, and recovery was difficult.
00:15:12 - 00:15:51
"That sounds a little… strange…" Aizawa muttered, regretting the unintentional pun from the doctor's name, "so someone who was paralyzed managed to walk again? In a quirkless world, it does sound suspicious."
He keeps a mental note on this, having a feeling that Stephen is going to track down this person.
00:15:51 - 00:16:03
"Can't even shame his facial hair by himself…" Tamaki sighed. "really shows how hard is it with shaking hands…"
00:16:03 - 00:16:34
"Unfortunately, like what he did to the number of patents he considered and reject, other doctors, rejected his hands' recovery," Nezu said, a little jumped when the man slammed his computer in frustration.
"He's getting desperate…" one of the teachers said, "desperation isn't always a good thing…"
00:16:34 - 00:17:03
"I was worried about that." Recovery Girl said, "due to these operations being expensive, he risks losing his earnings and would end up bankrupting himself if he keeps continuing making these operations."
"That explains why the room looked empty," Midoriya said, remembering before the accident that the place had fancy stuff and a piano, but now they're gone. "He probably had to sell them to cover the expenses."
00:17:03 - 00:17:31
Hearing Palmer trying to help Strange with his problems and then Strange saying something bad. It caused a shock to the audience who has yet seen Strange as a jerk.
"He… did not say that…" Mina said, feeling a little heartbroken.
Though there were hints towards his introduction, this was the moment where everyone sees him as a bad person. But a few would still give him a chance, as they once made a mistake of seeing Tony Stark as a bad person as well when he was introduced in the first movie.
00:17:31 - 00:18:10
Once, the audience was sad about Strange and his accident. Arguably, he did it to himself when he wasn't focused on the road, but seeing someone getting hurt was heart aching for the heroes and students.
But to see that man, who been through the accident and recovered, and turn into a man who cares only for himself, enough for him to spend too much money to recover his hands, now he's pushing people who cared for him away when he couldn't get what he wants.
"I can't believe I'm hearing this." The pink student said.
"Yeah… I'm… I… I don't like this guy…" Hagakure agreed with her friend, "is he the hero of this story? How is that going to happen when he's being a big jerk in this scene?"
"I only hope he can learn his mistakes." Nezu said, taking another sip of his tea. "but for now, he's far from having the ideals of a hero."
00:18:10 - 00:18:42
After Palmer left, the scene changes too much later.
"The room is getting emptier." Midoriya pointed out.
00:18:42 - 00:19:03
It then shows Strange getting a file, the mentioned file of someone who lost his ability to walk and then walk again, with a sticky note saying 'told you so.'
"Looks like what he said is true," Aizawa said, he doesn't know much about medical analysis, he leaves doctors to do that work, but he can tell that there were information and evidence that the person was paralyzed.
And at the same time, he has an idea that Strange is going to use this information to seek him out and ask how he managed to heal what can't be fixed.
00:19:03 - 00:19:22
"Wait, so that's the guy who lost his legs?" Nejire said when the scene change to people playing basketball until Strange appears to talk to one of the players. "he wasn't kidding about walking again."
00:19:22 - 00:19:45
"Again, it feels like Strange is getting a taste of his own medicine" Nezu chuckled, "this time, meeting someone who can help him, only to learn that he was once a patent that he rejected."
"Sounds like he's starting to wake up to reality like Stark once did." Mr Compress said added.
00:19:45 - 00:20:49
The audience listens to the man's story, his tale on how he focused on his mind rather than the body, going to a place to find people who help his mind till he found a teacher that showed him more minded stuff until his body was healed. Even mentioning more things to learn but settled for his miracle and go home.
While some of the students found it an interesting story, others were a little unsure, as it's a tale towards the mind and the body, it speaks more mentally than physically.
A little suspecting, they continue to listen and watch, as some have a feeling that Strange is going to follow the man's advice.
00:20:49 - 00:21:06
"Kamar-Taj" Midoriya said what the man said, noting it down on his notes, "an interesting name, don't know where it's from. But I guess it has meaning."
"I guess wherever this 'Kamar-Taj' is, he's going to go there and meet the people who healed his legs." Asui said, "I'm a little interested to see their method, ribbit."
"Me too," Momo said.
"And me as well." Recovery Girl added, "I wonder how they can heal critical damage that even I couldn't heal."
00:21:06 - 00:21:15
The scene then changes to show a name of a location, 'Kathmandu, Nepal'
"Nepal?" Midoriya said, putting it on his notes, "so Strange travelled to Nepal to find this 'Kamar-Taj', interesting…"
00:21:15 - 00:22:01
The scene follows Strange walking around a city he hasn't been in and looking around the environment.
This brought the audience into a different setting, after all the time looking at places in America and Europe, Russia and some parts of Africa, it was refreshing to see a new place that shows cultural buildings and things. Even showing how busy it is and how Strange seems to be lost in the city.
00:22:01 - 00:22:18
"That seems ominous." All Might said when it showed a hooded figure turning around after Strange said the place he's trying to find.
Especially when he's following him.
00:22:18 - 00:22:31
"Even in this reality, there'll be villains mugging an innocent." One of the teachers said.
00:22:31 - 00:22:50
When the muggers tried to ask for Strange' watch, his response is to punch one of them.
"That has to be the dumbest cause of action you've ever done." Recovery Girl said, "and of course it would risk damaging your already nerve-damaged hands.
00:22:50 - 00:22:58
The audience watches in shock when Strange gets beaten up to the ground by the muggers, with those who still see him as a good person feeling a little bad, while the rest, though disliked the mugging in place, don't feel a lot of pity towards him.
Except for a couple of villains who see Strange as a selfish person who cares about reputation than lives, "he deserves this." Shigaraki said.
00:22:58 - 00:23:18
And just when the mugger took the watch, the hooded figure suddenly attacks and know all the muggers out. leaving confusion to the audience.
"What the?" Uraraka said, "he's… helping him?"
00:23:18 - 00:23:26
"Looks like that watch is worthless now," Cementoss said, looking at the broken watch.
00:23:26 - 00:23:54
"Okay… guess the hooded man turns out to be someone who's going to help Strange to find Kamar-Taj" Sero said.
"He's also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, I'm impressed," Kendo added.
00:23:54 - 00:24:08
Not many people laugh at Strange's pun when he react to Kamar-Taj, which seems to be a small building than what the audience was expecting, as many of them thought that the place would be a temple.
"Bever judge a book by its cover." Nezu pointed out.
00:24:08 - 00:24:23
"Even Strange is giving the advice we got from the hooded girl," Kirishima said, now interested to see what he meant by those words.
"I don't like where this is going," Aizawa said, a little suspected what he said and the idea of it, as though this film is going to show a difference that he wouldn't expect, while it sounds interesting, he hates the idea of not knowing the full truth. Makes it difficult to keep people on the same level.
00:24:23 - 00:24:43
"Ancient One?" All Might muttered reminding him of those who give themselves titles that showed their power.
Like All for One wanting everything and can take power from others, just as the name implies.
For this case, Ancient One sounds like they been living for a long time, as though they are immortal.
This made him curious, though cautious.
00:24:43 - 00:25:20
The scene shows as follow, Strange entering the place where there's a man in robes sitting down, causing him and many in the screen room to believe that he's the Ancient One.
Until the man stands up and the scene changes to reveal a familiar face.
"The mirror illusion bald lady!" Mineta shouted.
00:25:20 - 00:25:28
"Okay, so she's the Ancient One?!" Mineta spoke again, "really misleading to the name."
"Yeah," Denki said, "kinda expecting that old man, but this was surprising."
"I agree," the purple student said, "she doesn't look ancient to me if it wasn't the fact that she's bald, she looks kind of ho…"
Then Asui slapped the pervert with her tongue.
"And I thought FWM's threat wasn't enough for you…" the frog student said, still didn't like Mineta being a pervert.
"Don't you remind me!" Mineta said, once forgot about the terror of the young girl, but now with the reminder, it reverts him back to being afraid of being a pervert. "oh gosh! It's too late!"
"At least wouldn't hear from you…" Jiro said, rolling her eyes back at the screen.
00:25:28 - 00:25:35
"Well technically, he's still a doctor." Recovery Girl pointed out, "he might have to retire from his occupation if your place turns out as a dead end, but he would still have the title due to his qualifications."
00:25:35 - 00:26:01
"That's what I want to know." Denki said, "whatever he said, just want to know how this Ancient One repaired someone's spine?"
"Then shut the hell up, listen and she'll tell us!" Bakugo shouted, causing the electric hero to silent himself.
00:26:01 - 00:26:07
"It sounds like it." Aizawa whispered, "hope it's not the case."
He listens more to what the Ancient One has to say.
00:26:07 - 00:26:17
"Now we're getting into computer talk." Power Loader said when the Ancient One mentioned cells being programmed.
00:26:17 - 00:26:27
"Cellular regeneration." Recovery Girl repeated what Doctor Strange said, thinking about what the Ancient One said and what it could mean.
And yet, she was a little unsure. Her quirk was able to do some parts of healing and putting certain bones back together, but that was only her quirk. They have yet to figure out a way to heal people through cellular regeneration without the use of quirk.
Though even if she was suggesting it, the medical hero has a feeling that what she's doing isn't tech or medical based, but something else.
00:26:27 - 00:26:52
Hoping to hear an answer from the Ancient One, many expected to be a disappointing one, less medical talking and more about 'spirits to heal the body.'
"Well, that's… an answer…" Iida said, "are we sure he got the right place?"
"if it is or not, I'm still curious," Midoriya said, making a new page, having a feeling that the Ancient One is going to explain what she does and how she can help Strange with his hands.
00:26:52 - 00:27:03
"remember Strange, forget everything you think you know." Twice said after seeing Strange's reaction.
Before he went on his craziness "FORGET EVERYTHING, I already forgot, WHAT IS FEET!?"
"You're kinda exaggerating a bit man," Kirishima said, "doesn't mean 'forget everything,' it just means…"
Then eyes of the villains turn to face the red hair student.
"It's better if you let him have his fun…" Toga said in a serious tone.
"Oh… alright…" the hardened student shook before turning to see the screen.
00:27:03 - 00:27:33
The following scene shows the Ancient one showing Strange a book filled with images body maps that a few had seen before, from a painting map of the body to an Acupuncture to an MRI scan image.
And just like Strange reaction, many people weren't sure how to make with it, especially when the Ancient One suggest that each map is drawn by people who can see parts of the body but not the whole. Suggesting that what she does isn't logical, but spiritual.
00:27:33 - 00:27:39
"This sounds like something sh*t hair would think," Bakugo said, causing the red hair student to jump and defend himself.
"Hey, I wouldn't think of stuff like that!"
"Well, you think studying is bashing your head in like an idiot so your 'spirit will make up for it.' What a stupid idea."
"And it worked… I think…" then he recalled failing the final exam, "you know what, never mind…"
"Well, either way, Bakugo is right." Aizawa said, "all this spirit and make-belief, it doesn't make any sense and it's just going to give me a big headache."
He really hopes the woman on screen isn't suggesting what she is suggesting.
00:27:39 - 00:27:53
"Of course he would reject it," one of the teachers said, "because it doesn't make any sense and there's no proof that what you're suggesting can be possible."
"But what if it is possible." Midoriya pointed out, "we didn't think aliens are possible and yet, there's some in the MCU.
"Yeah Midoriya, but that's one thing that can be possible," the same teacher said, "in this case, it's just something that can't be used in the real world."
"And that's why you reject the possibility of widening that keyhole," Nezu said.
"Sir, you are not suggesting that she's right."
"I still have my doubts," the principal said, "but I am not downright rejecting them, be mindful for anything to be possible."
00:27:53 - 00:28:14
There wasn't much to talk about when Strange argued to the Ancient One about why he's rejecting the possibility, as it was similar to what one of the teachers were arguing about, but for Strange, he was being angry towards it. Which make sense since he thinks that he ended up at a dead end.
Though for some, they have a slight feeling that she's going to give him proof to what she saying is true.
00:28:14 - 00:28:21
And with one moment, one push from the Ancient One, she did something to Strange that baffled the majority of the audience.
"What's going on?" Uraraka asked, completely confused as everyone else. "why is there two of them?"
00:28:21 - 00:28:36
"That's what I want to know!" Kirishima said, agreeing with what Strange said.
"I think I have an idea." Ibara said, "but I'm a little unsure of it…"
00:28:36 - 00:28:39
Hearing her answer, there was a mixture of confusion, concern and intrigue.
"Wait a minute," Denki tries to understand what the Ancient One said, "are you telling me that she literally pushed his soul out of his body!?"
"I… I think she did…" Midoriya said, very interested and wrote more of what the Ancient One can do.
"But isn't that… impossible?" Denki asked, "there's no such thing as quirks manipulating souls… right?"
"Obviously," one of the teachers said, "and obviously this isn't a quirk… and I don't think it's even an 'Enhanced' whatever this reality calls them."
00:28:39 - 00:28:54
"Astral dimension? Souls out of the body?" Aizawa said, raising a brow from what he's hearing, "this is starting to sound less about quirks more and more and onto something else…"
It was a topic that he wasn't very keen on, simply because while it was believed, there wasn't any significant evidence of them existing.
Spirits, astral energy, things that seem to be magic.
He doesn't want to believe it, but perhaps it was like the Ancient One said, he wants to widen the keyhole but don't want to believe complete nonsense to be true, it just gives him a headache that made him unable to sleep.
And he needs sleep.
00:28:54 - 00:29:03
And with a single second, the Ancient One showed Strange more of what she has to offer.
While it confused most of them, they were locked to the screen, ready to see the weirdness and very strange scene of Strange experience at this moment.
00:28:54 - 00:31:22
The following scene was an indescribable sequence of Strange going through many voids, spaces, strange things and weird stuff that was incredibly different.
There was one moment when Strange was covered by several hands on his body, it shrieked and creeped out several people, even Shigaraki was weirded out from the fact that there were more hands-on Strange than what he had on him.
Aside from that, nobody had words, nobody had anything to say during the entire sequence.
It was so baffling; it was enough for Midoriya to drop his notebook from his hands.
"I… I…" Midoriya stuttered, trying to find the words. "I… don't know what I know anymore…"
There were many things that he understood in the MCU, quirkless building gear to be a hero? That makes sense, as they are support gear, super-soldier serum and enhanced individuals? That is some form of a quirk. Aliens and Norse-based gods, it wasn't out of the impossibility as there is a chance aliens exist in their world and yet to be discovered.
But this. This was something he wouldn't expect in this reality and something that doesn't exist in theirs.
Minded energy, dimensions, dimensional planes, astral spirits.
The multiverse part made sense but never thought it would work like that
And never thought it would happen in this reality.
He needs to make a whole new page about this,
He looked down and notice his notebook was on the floor. Guess he forgot that he dropped it.
As for everyone else. They were just confused as Midoriya.
00:31:22 - 00:31:35
"Oh… now… you believed him?" one of the students said in a mixture of demanding and a confused tone, wanting to say about Strange not believing in what the Ancient One told him.
But at the same time, they didn't believe what they saw, they weren't sure what they saw.
Now it felt weird to say that.
00:31:35 - 00:31:38
"No?" Monoma shouted, "you can't just show a man all that sh*t and kick him out!"
00:31:38 - 00:31:41
"And you did that." The copy quirk student flips his hands upwards after seeing Strange getting kicked out when the Ancient One rejected his request to teach him.
"Maybe… maybe there's a reason why…" All Might said even he was trying to understand what he saw. He tries to ignore that part and understand the reason Strange was rejected. Thinking that no such power and trying to get it, he would hold a power that he wouldn't be able to control.
The same reason he didn't give Midoriya One for All until his body was ready to use it.
00:31:41 - 00:32:08
"Sounds like he's not giving up," Dabi said.
"Well, it's reasonable," Kurogiri pointed out, "he spent what's left of his wealth to getting there, he has no place to go and have nothing else to lose. He's desperate, especially after what he witnessed."
00:32:08 - 00:32:25
"Well, that explains Kaecilius earlier." One of the teachers said, "also good to note that he was once a student to the Ancient One."
00:32:25 - 00:32:37
Hearing what Mordo said, a few had a little suspicion to what he said, on how he went to the Ancient One to 'defeat his demons', either sounding like he was in a broken state at the time. Or a possible chance that he wanted to defeat an enemy.
It was a little worrying for those who were curious, but seeing what he seems to be in this scene, it seems that he managed to pass that state and in a more peaceful manner.
00:32:37 - 00:32:44
"Very true," All Might whispered, as he understood what she means along with others who had troubled past or a demon they have to face.
00:32:44 - 00:33:06
"And after all that, he's still knocking on that door." Denki said, "he really isn't going to give up."
"Hopefully, Mordo managed to get through with his master and accept Strange as her student," Momo said.
00:33:06 - 00:33:30
And as the creative student said, the door opens, causing Strange to fall inside.
Resulting in a couple of chuckles from the audience. Mostly the students.
00:33:30 - 00:33:37
"I guess since he doesn't have a place to stay, it makes sense for them to give him a room to rest in," Nezu said. A little happy that Strange got into this place and hopefully, be shown the abilities that were teased earlier.
Remembering the quote that both Mordo and FWM said, it will be a nice change of pace to find something that he wouldn't predict. Something that's being matched with his high specs quirk. And so far, he doesn't know nor understands the explanation of the powers shown in this film.
It was refreshing for something like this to challenge him.
00:33:37 - 00:33:44
"Shamballa." Midoriya read the English written word from the paper that Mordo gave to Strange. "I wonder what that means.
00:33:44 - 00:33:54
"Oh…" Midoriya felt a little disappointed but understood.
"I guess even if they're a place and have different methods of whatever they use, they would still use technology like Wi-Fi," Mei said.
"Times do change and people are good at adapting to it." Nezu pointed out, "just because some people use methods that differ from the norms doesn't mean they fully reject norms."
"Well… at least he has internet… that's a good thing…" Midoriya said, writing down what Mordo said because it was a little funny.
00:33:54 - 00:34:23
As Strange get himself settled and put his broken watch on the windowsill. Many thoughts came from the audience.
Mostly from how different it is from the other films. Sure, there were surprises such as Norse Gods, the existence of aliens, powerful objects and fully functioned Artificial Intelligence. But this film has something very different. Something that most of them still have a hard time wrapping their heads around.
Hopefully, when Strange start to learn about what the Ancient One can do, they can slowly but surely understand what it was.
Though with the idea of spirits and dimensions, it feels like this film is saying that the concept of magic is real in this reality.
Though many are still downright rejecting that idea, a few are slowly accepting it, mostly because there are already many things that their reality don't have and the existence of magic isn't entirely out of the window, there might even be a scientific explanation towards it since it uses non-magical words, such as programming, dimensions and multiverse.
To that, they would be open-minded for when they learn about how it all works and try to give an idea of how it can work. It was the same thought process that comes with complicated quirks or analysing them to know how they function and their limits.
The same can go with what Doctor Stephen Strange is going to learn.
But for now, they just have to watch what happens next.
To be continued...
