SmackDown: 30/3/2000

WWF Thursday Night SmackDown was live from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. Triple H hypes up his match at WrestleMania, by saying he will walk out on top, although he is going against the top 3 men in the sport (he, being the 4th). He talks more garbage, and Vince comes down. Vince comes down and says Triple H is full of himself. He says he knows Triple H will probably cause a DQ, to hang onto his title, so Vince officially makes it a no DQ/no count out match. Triple H says that it won't shake his confidence, and he will still win. He says he is the man. Mick Foley then comes down and says that he is going to take Triple H's WWF Championship. He says he wants that, and nothing more, but he can beat Triple H and get the title at the same time. He says at WrestleMania, he will give it 110%, because he doesn't have to work the next day, but Triple H does. He says even if he ends up in the hospital, just as long as he has Triple H's title. He says it will be a long, long time before fans see him again, and it has been an honor coming into our living rooms. Mick says WrestleMania will be one hell of a match.

First match was Chris Jericho vs Eddie Guerrero. Jericho got the Walls of Jericho locked, and Benoit interfered for a DQ. Kurt Angle then came back out and layed Jericho and Benoit out with his finisher. Winner Chris Jericho via DQ. Chyna came into the ring to get her hands on Guerrero, but he ran away.

Next match was the Road Dogg and X-Pac vs Edge and Christian. Both teams switch control back and forth. The match takes a turn when Road Dogg attempts the Pump Handle Slam on Edge, but he reverses it. The Hardys are doing commentary for the match, and when the referee gets knocked down, Matt nails Edge with Senton Bomb, and Road Dogg covers him for the victory. Winners Road Dogg and X-Pac

After the match, Mick Foley is seen talking with The Rock in the back. He says WrestleMania is his last match, and he will help The Rock. Rock says he doesn't want his help.

In the arena, the Dudley Boyz' theme hits and the WWF Tag Team Champions start making their way to the ring as they will take on the Bladewolf and Kane tonight. The WWF Tag Team Champiosn get into the ring and their theme dies down as they wait for their opponents.

Kane's theme played after the explosion and the Big Red Machine makes his way down towards the ring with Paul Bearer. "The following is tag team match and is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first, being accompanied by Paul Bearer, weighing 326 lbs...KANE!" Lillian Garcia annoucned.

Kane enters the ring and raises his arms before he throws them down to summon fire from the turnbuckles with an explosion.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls plays to a loud pop as Bladewolf comes out on his motorcycle. "And his partner, weighing 295 lbs...THE BLADEWOLF!" Lillian announced as Bladewolf drives down the ramp.

Bladeowlf circles the ring and parks it at the end of the ramp before he gets off and takes off his trench coat, throwing it over his motorcycle saddle then enters the ring and stands beside Kane before the Dudleys run at them and the match begins!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane takes on D-Von while Bladewolf takes on Bubba Ray. Bladewolf gets Bubba Ray in the corner and drives his shoulder into his stomach repeatedly while Kane clotheslines D-Von over the top rope and exits to continue dishing out punishment on him. Back in the ring, Bladewolf stomps away on Bubba Ray then nails a hard uppercut to the jaw of Bubba Ray.

Bladewolf drives his elbow into the side of Bubba Ray's head before he headbutts him, turns him around and hits a German Suplex. He holds on as he hits another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another.

Kane enters the ring, raises his arm...AND GRABS BUBBA RAY BY THE THROAT! Bladewolf grabs Bubba Ray as well before they lift Bubba Ray up...AND PLANT HIM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! BLADEWOLF COVERS BUBBA RAY! ONE! TWO! THREE! KANE AND BLADEWOLF WIN!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

For Whom the Bell Tolls plays as Kane celebrates their victory by raising his arms and throws them down to summon fire from the turnbuckles. SmackDown went to a commercial break afterwards...
