It had only been a few days since Nozomi had finally decided to come out to the others as a trans girl. It had been received well, with everyone being welcoming of her still. Nothing had seemed to have changed that day.
Though, she did notice they seemed to be talking about something and were going to great lengths to hide it from her. She wasn't sure how to take that. Considering how everyone had reacted, she doubted they were talking behind her back.
So then, what was it that they were discussing that didn't include her? Nozomi really didn't know. She wasn't sure where to start with trying to find that answer.
And she didn't end up having to. The answer came to her. She was just heading to the club room. She hadn't seen anyone else yet today. That was a bit odd. Normally she ran into someone by now.
Nozomi paused at the door. She could hear quiet whispering coming from inside. She couldn't make out anything that was being said, though. So, she opened the door.
She was greeted with everyone else already being there. And... it looked like a party. The room was slightly decorated and there were treats on the table.
"You're finally here!" Honoka came up to her, "So... we decided to have a little party for you! To show you that we love you no matter what!"
Nozomi didn't know how to respond. Words were failing her. They did all of this for her? She couldn't believe it. She had never had this type of treatment before. She didn't know how to being to thank them for it.
"Come sit. Let's begin." Honoka took her by the hand and let her to the table.
Everyone found a seat of their own. Nozomi was really happy. She still wasn't sure what to say to them, though. So, she silently enjoyed the small party.
It was very nice. All of them seemed to be enjoying it. That was good. It looked like they had all put a lot of effort into this event.
"Thank you all... I'm... I'm really happy to have you guys as my friends..." Nozomi finally found her voice.
"You're welcome!"
