I had fun writing this chapter, I hope you enjoy :)

Anakin blinked his eyes open as they looked slightly blurry. He reached his hands up to rub the junk out of his eyes. He shook his head feeling slightly groggy, he wondered how long he had been asleep for. Knowing Leia woke up allowed him to go back to sleep. He slowly sat up as he heard baby gibberish coming from the crib the hotel had supplied them knowing they had a baby with them. He stood up and walked to the crib and reached down and picked up his youngest into his arms. "Thanks for letting me sleep, my sweet girl," that is until he caught a whiff causing him to wrinkle his nose. "Time for a change," he commented as Lillian let out a small giggle. "You think this is funny now, wait until you get older," he teased knowing she didn't understand what he was saying.

Anakin went about changing Lillian as he noticed Padme asleep on the other bed causing him to frown. She only did that when she was angry with him. Did he do something wrong or maybe she didn't want to wake him. It was possible she fell asleep there. He refocused his attention on Lillian and quickly finished pulling the new diaper on. "Let's give mommy some quiet time, and go out for something to eat?"

Lillian looked up with ice blue eyes causing him to smile in turn. Her eyes didn't change color, he suspected she had his eyes for sure. The hair color was coming in brown, close to Padme's color. He quickly wrote down a note for Padme letting her know he had Lillian with him so she wouldn't panic. He grabbed Lillian's bottle out of the fridge, picked up the diaper bag and left the hotel. He headed towards the small restaurant that was beside the hotel. Then he planned to go see Leia.

Anakin held Lillian in his arms as he held the bottle up to her lips as he waited for his breakfast to arrive. She was going to town on that bottle and she felt heavier before he left to rescue Leia. Lillian had a similar midi chlorian count to his own. She would make a powerful Jedi one day. He wondered what her personality would be like, would she be more like him, his mothers. Padme? Maybe her parents? Time would only tell.

"What a beautiful child, what is her name?" A woman spoke causing him to look up as she smiled at him. She was a beautiful red head with a navy top and black pants on. Slim and he would consider attractive but definitely not his type.

"Thank you and her name is Lillian," Anakin answered with a smile as the woman sat down at the table causing the smile to fade. He didn't remember asking her to sit at the table.

"Are you single?" The woman questioned causing Anakin to groan. A single mother, and sounding desperate or making small talk. He couldn't tell. He didn't date much, and Padme was the only woman he ever had eyes for.

"Happily married," Anakin answered with a frown. You would run for your life once you figure out who you're talking too, he added silently to himself.

"She's not here, you're just being shy," the woman gave a flirtatious wink as Anakin felt his annoyance rise. She was definitely desperate and flirtatious. "Admit it, you're single."

"I don't remember asking you to sit down," Anakin pointed out as Lillian fell asleep in his arms.

"You got fire, I like that," the woman gave a grin causing Anakin to frown as Han sat down in the other chair.

"Ahsoka and Fress were not exaggerating when they told me woman throw themselves at you, kind of hard to tell at first when you were still in the black armor," Han teased as Anakin bit down on his tongue from snapping back a comeback.

"Do you need something, Solo?" Anakin questioned as Han's teasing smile faded. "Or do I have you clean my fresher on the Executor?"

"I have something to talk to you about," Han answered with a loving smile causing Anakin's curiosity to peak. "I can see you're busy..."

"Not busy, why don't we talk," Anakin encouraged wanting to keep the other woman from continuing to flirt with him. He turned his attention to the woman hoping she would finally take the hint that he was not interested. "And you, please leave."

"What did he mean by black armor?" The woman questioned in curiosity with a frown. "Who are you, Vader? I find that hard to believe."

"Its called none of your business," Anakin snapped a little too easily. "Please leave. Han, tell her I'm married."

"To you?" The woman asked her eyes going wide. "I didn't think you were…"

"Not to me," Han answered as his tone rose in irritation. "He's married to Padme Amidala and she carries a blaster and he carries a lightsaber. I need to talk to him, and you're irritating him to the point where I think I should wait until he's in a better mood."

"Does this have to do with Leia?" Anakin questioned with a small predatory smile as Han started squirming in his seat. "It does have to do with my eldest daughter."

"It does, Leia's scary father," Han answered nervously as the woman stood up with a frown. She quickly took her leave as Anakin breathed a sigh of relief.

"I thought she would never leave," Anakin muttered under his breath as Han fell silent. "Han, what do you have to talk to me about?"

"Leia told me her decision on where Isolder's proposal stands," Han answered with a frown. "She is going to tell Isolder no. Anakin, you have a beautiful and wonderful daughter that I am madly in love with. I never felt this way before with anyone. I've come to ask you for your daughters hand in marriage."

"You didn't need to ask, it would've been Bail you would have had to ask," Anakin answered with a serious tone. "I appreciate you asking in the long run. You do have my blessing. You already asked her, didn't you?"

"I did, sorry," Han glanced away with a guilty expression as Anakin shook his head.

"Would it help if I said, welcome to the Skywalker family?" Anakin questioned as Han looked at him with a smile.

"It does," Han answered honestly with a relieved smile. "I love Leia. She tore down the wall I put up around my heart after the first couple of heart breaks I had."

Anakin smiled as Han opened up to him. He placed a hand onto his shoulder. "Thanks for helping scare that woman away."

"You're welcome," Han answered with a small smirk. "She would've run as soon as she found out who you were. You didn't really need my help."

Anakin didn't say a word as he stared at Han in disbelief as Han grimaced. "You're making it very hard…" He didn't finish his sentence as the waitress put a plate of food down in front of him. "You're lucky my breakfast is here, man who can't keep his hands off my daughter."

"I'm going to let you eat, and I'll see you at the medical facility," Han said as he stood up with a smile. "Enjoy your breakfast, Anakin."

"I will," Anakin watched as Han stood up and left the table as he settled Lillian into her carrier. "Your sister is getting off easy, you unfortunately will have a much more difficult time when you bring home boys."

Leia looked up as Han walked into the room with a loving smile causing her to smile in turn. She glanced at her ring again as Han lovingly took her hand into his. "How did the talk go with dad?"

"It went better then I thought it would," Han answered with a grin. "In fact I had to help him chase off a woman who was flirting with him at the hotel restaurant."

"Really?" Leia questioned in curiosity as Han nodded with a smirk. "You irritated him again, didn't you?" The smirk quickly faded as he shook his head. "It sounds like he's okay with you becoming my husband?"

"That he is," Han answered with a smile. "I love you, Leia and I can't wait till I'm waking up with you beside me."

Leia gave an appreciative smile as she looked into his chestnut brown eyes. "I can't wait till I'm waking up beside you too."

Han leaned over and nuzzled her neck just the way she liked it causing her to groan happily. "I love you," he said in a husky tone causing Leia to shiver.

"You're not married yet," Anakin spoke causing both to look towards the door. "And you, get your hands off her."

"Way to spoil the mood, sky guy," Han muttered under his breath.

"What did you just call me?" Anakin questioned as Leia noticed he was enjoying this to the fullest extent causing her to release a frustrated sigh.

"Nothing," Han was quick to retract as he pulled back from Leia. "I'll leave you alone with Leia."

"Thank you, and take Lillian with you," Anakin smirked as he handed the carrier to Han. "You're going to need the practice."

Han didn't say a word as he took the carrier with him as Leia raised an eyebrow at Anakin. "Is he irritating you that much?" She questioned with a frown. "And what is this about Han helping you to chase someone off that was flirting with you?"

"Desperation is never a good look on anyone," Anakin answered with a frown. "He told you?" Leia nodded with a curious expression hoping to hear the rest of it as Anakin sighed in frustration. "She said Lillian was a beautiful child then sat down at the table and asked if I was single. Tried to make me admit to being single even though I'm not. I told her to leave but it took Han telling her who I was before she finally decided to leave."

"Fress is right, woman do literally throw themselves at you," Leia teased as Anakin groaned again. "Dad, I could sense something was bothering you just after I woke up. Did you want to talk about it?" Anakin froze as Leia watched him carefully as she reached for his hand. "Dad, you've come a long way in redeeming yourself. Please talk to me. Did you have a vision or a bad dream?"

Anakin hesitated as Leia waited patiently for him to answer. She did not want him to fall again and that meant for him to learn how to open up quicker and get things off his chest. Over the past several months she had learned he was a little too good at keeping things to himself. "I had a vision or a dream of what would've happened if I fell again and I came so close this time."

Leia squeezed his hand with encouragement as she nodded for him to go on. "I was standing on a ship called the Doomsday and declared myself the Emperor. I wanted you to be Empress. You told me no and that the Empire was cold and cruel," he looked away as she waited feeling her heart sink. She had sensed Vader during her rescue and now she was worried she could lose him to the dark side again. "Your mother told me that Lillian would grow up without a father, just like you and your brother did. She demanded for a divorce then I woke up to the news you had slipped into a coma."

Leia was silent as she took in Anakin's facial features feeling concerned about him. "Isn't the future always in motion? Never set in stone?" Anakin gave a short nod as she gave an encouraging smile. "Isn't the dreams about mom dying is what got you into trouble?"

"Yes," Anakin answered cautiously as Leia watched him.

"And with the dreams you had of mom, what did you do that caused you to fall?" Leia questioned with a frown.

"Desperation to make sure it didn't come to pass," Anakin answered honestly.

"Anakin, maybe just try letting your fear of falling again go," Leia suggested with a frown as Anakin chewed on his lower lip. "Let things be and don't pursue that dream."

"Master Yoda told me the same thing a long time ago," Anakin admitted with a frown. "And I didn't listen then, and it nearly cost me everything."

"Then will you listen to me now?" Leia questioned with a cautious frown. "Let this dream go. I don't want to loose you to the dark side again, you will be executed for sure."

"I know," Anakin agreed with a frown as his eyes lowered to where the ring was on her finger. "I missed so much. I don't want to miss anymore."

"Dad, will you give me away?" Leia questioned with a smile as Anakin nodded.

"It would be my honor," Anakin answered as he lovingly kissed her hand. "I love you, Leia."

"I love you too, dad," Leia smiled as he leaned over and hugged her. She held tightly onto him for several minutes as he held her. He was turning into a father figure for her and she was appreciative of it.

Padme approached Han who was holding Lillian in his arms causing her to smile as Han looked up with a soft smile. "Where is Anakin?"

"In Leia's room," Han answered with a frown. "He told me to take Lillian with me, said something about needing the practice. As far as I know…"

"You irritated him again, didn't you?" Padme questioned with a slight smirk as Han nodded. "What will it take for you to learn?"

"I only do it is because I actually do like Anakin. I only tease those I like," Han explained as he looked down at Lillian's peaceful sleeping features. "My kids will have everything they need, and never grow up the way I did. I don't remember much about my parents, they were killed when I was two. Luke and Leia have an opportunity that I would love to have."

Padme gave a slight nod, it would explain Han's rough manner and survival instincts. "How did you grow up?" She questioned with a frown.

"I was raised by a man named Garris Shrike, he abused us, promised to get medical treatment but didn't. Shila died due to his neglect and she needed life saving surgery. It was just easier to find some random kid on the street needing a home then to take care of the rest of us properly. He used us for stealing money from others. There was two wookiees, one was a slave and the other was his mate Dewlanna. After her mate died, she stayed because of me and died because of me. She raised me, made sure I got an education. She took care of me after Garris beat me after I got cocky after winning a bike speeder competition," Han explained as Padme felt her heart drop. No wonder Han seemed really protective of those he cared about. After enduring abuse, you either became like that person or decide to be the complete opposite.

"How did you find out about your last name?" Padme questioned in curiosity. If he was two, there is no way he would've remember his last name.

"Dewlanna got Shrike drunk enough and she asked him. Turns out he was the reason I was homeless without a family, he killed my parents," Han answered as Padme caught site of Anakin ease dropping. "Its strange but, I'm sorta starting to see Anakin as a father figure or maybe an older brother."

"You belong with this family, Han. I was left with the impression that everyone stopped eyeing Leia when you two first met," Padme explained with a smile.

"I know, Leia and I eventually stopped denying the feelings we had for each other," Han explained with a smile. "I love her Padme. I can't see my life without her."

Padme smiled as she took Lillian from Han as Anakin stepped out of the doorway to Leia's recovery room. She took a step back as Anakin brought Han into a hug. Han had it rough growing up, she wondered how he had the strength to keep going all this time.
