Also uploading this story on Archive of our own for anyone wanting to reread on a different platform. I am editing the chapters as I go so there will be some minor differences/ adjustments where I've fixed small errors or inconsistencies. (Wow there were so many mistakes in the early chapters! )

Thanks for sticking with me this long, I'll do my best to get some more chapters out

The table was cleared to hold the stacks of food Clint had made with Loki's help. A breakfast and lunch combination large enough to feed a small army. Bucky arrived as they began to clear the table, following Wanda and Sam into the room, all three smiling, faces warm as if they'd just shared a good laugh.

She wanted to be part of that moment, whatever it had been brightening their eyes. But she was content to watch, cups in either hand as she watched them move, all three happy and - it hit her again- alive. Not two weeks ago, she was sure she'd never see them again, each of them taken by thanos and lost forever. Yet here they were, as if it had never happened, they were here.

Bucky saw her first, smiling her way and holding up his arms, weighed down by two large bags. He gestured towards the kitchen with his head before heading in that direction. Wanda, however, headed her way, smiling softly with warmth on her face, radiating from her.

"Is hugging allowed yet?" She asked. Daisy's lips quirked, raising her arms before remembering the cups she held. She scrunched her nose as the liquid inside sloshed around. Wanda chuckled, moving foreward, she didn't take the cups up instead grabbed some more from the table, gesturing for them both to move to the kitchen to dispose of them.

"It seems we have a lot to catch up on" she said, quirking a brow at daisy who shifted through her memory of what had happened since - what had happened since she'd seen her last. It took a moment of trying to figure out what she meant before realising that yes, there was a lot to unpack. They drifted back into the crude living space and dropped onto the couch.

"That's an understatement."

"The biggest question right now is, Shield?" Her voice softened. Shield, right, they had practically held her hostage last they spoke.

"Yeah," daisy said softly, eyes falling to her lap. "That was a tough, i was in a tough spot." Her shoulders sagged. "I just needed to get away, shield provided an escape that I just really needed." Wanda nodded gently, smiling warmly.

"I barely lasted a month without everyone, I at least managed to stay on mission for the most part but." Daisy sighed. "Once Steve said the snap was permanent, the world had decided that it was final and everyone we lost were officially gone, I couldn't cope."

"I understand." Wanda said. "I don't think I could handle any more loss I'm my life, you've managed to do what a lot of people in your position Wouldn't be able to do. Myself included"

Daisy doubted that. Despite everything the enchantress had been through she had remained strong, before either could say more. Clint approached.

"How you feeling kid?" Clint asked as he came to lean over the back of the hard couch, Natasha following close by. "You took a lot of damage during the fight, you sure you should be up?" Daisy softly rolled her eyes.

"No more than anyone else" she told him, "I'm taking it easy though." She smiled at him, scorching over to allow him a spot on the couch. He leaped over the back and dropped into place.

"Nah, you took the brunt of the first explosion before the fight." Clint said. "If anyone deserves a few extra days in bed, it's you."

"For being unlucky enough to end up under a building?" Daisy asked with a doubtful smile. She was just glad it was her that had fallen and not anyone else, her powers were the only reason she was alive after that. The dark damp atmosphere flashed through her memory. "It's just lucky that no one else was taken town with me." She smiled gently.

"Lucky?" Nat asked, cutting in. She stepped close to daisy, taking up clints spot leaning on the back of the couch. Daisy turned slightly to see her better. "Daisy you pushed us all away." She told her.

Daisy furrowed her brows, confused, she tried to recall the incident but it had been such a blur all she could remember was rocket looking up before her vision went dark.

"No-" she started, Wanda took her hands in her own. "I- you were thrown back by the blast."

"You quaked us back," Clint told her. "Out of the immediate blast radius." His words were gently. Easing her into the new information.

"But" she didn't remember doing that, couldn't draw the image to mind.

"Daisy, you saved us, that's why you took the hit. You were too distracted to shield yourself." Nat said. Daisy wanted to argue but Wanda squeezed her hands gently.

"It's instinct." She told her. "Your concern for others took over, even in that split second. Your powers reacted before you could."

She had saved them? Her powers, they'd saved her people and she'd never been more thankful for her inhuman DNA. Her eyes were watering. The group noticed and pulled her in, warm smiled and kind words drifting around her.

"C'mon kiddo" Clint said, gesturing to the table, now filled with food. She nodded quickly and they all stood from their spots on the couch and, after a shared smile, moved towards the table to get a seat. There were only a few seats around the table, not enough for everyone, daisy glanced to the benches in the kitchen and figured some people could sit there, and there was always the couch, that meant they'd all be separated though-

She was pouting when a pair of mismatched arms wrapped around her. Cool metal and warm skin causing her to shiver pleasantly. Daisy sunk into him on instinct, her own hands sliding over his and she felt him laugh, his chest rumbling against her. He kissed the side of her neck then pulled back. She followed the movement, turning as he had planned, if his smile was anything to go by. He held her eye before tilting his head, gesturing to the left.

On the small coffee table near the recently vacated couch lay two staked plates of food waiting for them. Her stomach rumbled at the sight and Bucky laughed quietly before moving to pull the table closer as daisy dropped onto the couch, Bucky taking the spot beside her one the table was a good distance from them, handing daisy her plate before grabbing his own.

"And how did you get fed before anyone else?" Daisy asked, turning to Bucky curiously, smiling wickedly at her soldier who simply shrugged.

"I know the chef" he smirked. Daisy shook her head, turning to look over at Clint who was moving their way with a plate of his own.

"And I asked very nicely." Bucky added, nodding at the archer as he passed.

"Plus I'm courting this gorgeous woman who happens to be one of his favourite people." Daisy's cheeks flushed, she wasn't sure what to smile at first. Bucky using the old colloquium or the claim that she was one of clints favorites.

"That's True" Clint said from his seat, Natasha perched on the seat beside his. He simply waved his fork at the pair, Nat making a similar move. Daisy smiled their way before gently buckling her shoulder against Buckys arm, catching his eyes on her. She skewered some food on her plate and dug in.

They ate in relative silence, unlike the family conversation she craved, with extra people in the room and the disjointed seating set up it felt weird but daisy barely had time to overthink it as she ate, relishing the fresh, warm, home cooked meal.

An hour later, Daisy adjusted her socks with a frown, the lack of choice in clothing at the moment was a bummer considering everyone currently wore a variety of standard shield clothes. Not uncomfortable but more irritating, knowing that it was shields clothes and that her clothes were no more. She'd had a moment when dressing the other day When she realised Buckys room was gone, his familiar bed and clothes buried under the compound with everything else they owned. Bucky had wrapped her in his arms, reminding her that he was with her and then promising her an assortment of

"Uh, mr stark?" Peter asked after a moment. "Why don't we just stream something?" Daisy smiled at the question, having already asked the team why they insisted on hard copies, at least for movie night.

"Listen up spiderling" Tony replied, turning to the boy. "The answer is simple. I don't want to" he shrugged then he turned back to the tv, reluctantly scrolling through the choices on Netflix with distaste. Daisy caught Parker's eye and shook her head slightly.

She'd been down that road, insisted there were plenty of options and it was more practical than lugging round shelves of dvds, but the man wouldn't budge and the group stuck with him. 'It's just how we are' 'so it's like a tradition?' 'Sure, I guess you could say that.'

Clint searched the cupboards for dvds while Tony scoffed at another cheesy Netflix title.

It took a while for them to decide on something, quickly falling back into their familiar bickering , everyone gathered. What was odd was the additions to the group, not to mention the scenery. Unfortunately Clint came up empty in his search for dvds, unless they wanted to watch a DVD on being responsible in the workplace. Tony had laughed outright at that, shield, responsible? It was laughable. But he refrained from asking if there was a section on betraying your teammates and instead located a marker, writing a short note on the DVD case and leaving the room. He returned with an amused smile before resuming his search for something to watch.

Nat had said the word 'movie' and everyone had come, leaving their isolation to gather round a tv. People were missing, daisy noticed. Dr strange wasn't in the group, neither was Valkyrie or Thor, though loki remained as well as quills group and part of Scott's team, the elder couple not present, Even Carol was gone.

"Can we watch something funny?" Wanda asked Tony who had taken control when Clint came up empty.

"Yeah, funny and cute. No action movies though," daisy agreed. They'd all had enough of THAT for a while.

"So a rom com?" Clint suggested. "Or maybe-" daisy shook her head at him seriously, eyes narrowed.

"We're not watching brave, again" she told him quietly. Clint pulled a face in return and daisy rolled her eyes at him.

"Oh I think Coulson has access to an oldies streaming service." She said, jumping up from her spot on the couch. She grabbed the control from Tony and searched for the right channel. She found Coulsons collection of classic tv shows and smiled, handing the remote back to tony who quirked a brow at the options.

"Cmon tony." Daisy said, suddenly wondering when had been the last time she'd watched anything other than security footage. "You've got a room full of newbies, you've got to show them classic tv before introducing them to the weird crap that passes for tv now."

"Weird crap?" Bucky mused, raising a brow at his girlfriend. "Like that cop show-"

"Brooklyn nine nine is a hilarious show buckaroo" she cut him off, dropping gently to the seat by his side and nestling in close. She was drawn back to him like a magnet, slipping back into place against him easily.

Daisy didn't pay attention to what he selected, distracted by the heart beating against her ear. Buckys arm looped around her, pulling her close without squeezing despot her insistence that her ribs were fine, she shuffled a little closer, fingers threading through his as she rested her arm on the one around her, hands on her thigh.

Bucky brushed a metal finger over the back of her hand and she smiled at the movement, the goosebumps that rose at the soft touch. She squeezed his hand in response, watching the motion before turning to look up at him, her head shifting to lean on his bicep so she could meet his eye.

He was watching her too, his smile soft and lazy as he dragged it from their joined hands to her rich golden eyes. Daisy's smile matched his, eyes drifting over his face, his beautiful blue eyes the colour of the clearest sky on a winter day. It had been a day like that when she had chosen her name, had stopped using the name assigned to her at the orphanage and decided to become someone else.

He had small smile lines around his eyes, his lips soft and- she leaned up for a kiss and Bucky obliged, meeting her halfway. She breathed out a soft sigh as she savoured it, aware that she was surrounded by people but in need of the reminder, of the feel of his warm lips on hers, their breaths mingling as they shared this, a small kiss. She didn't linger to long, long enough for her heart to speed up and her whole body to warm, long enough to confirm that he was here and this wasn't some trick, some dream she would wake up from.

His smile was a little brighter, cheeks a little pinker, when she examined him again. Daisy scrunched her nose at his smile, trying not to grin, then Bucky leaned down and pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose and she couldn't help but flush, cheeks heating in response. She simply nudged him in return, earning a soft laugh as she resumed her previous position, head falling back onto his chest. His arm tightened around her and she smiled to herself. This may not be her home, but he was.

She didn't find out what tony had chosen, barely saw the screen before she drifted off, Buckys heartbeat playing like a lullaby in her her ear.

The sun streaming through the wide glass windows warmed her face, drawing her gently from a comfortable sleep. Cracking her eyes open she scanned the room, her mind not yet catching up with her as she took in the colours of the room, the forms draped over couches and stretched out on he floor.

She blinked a few times, the body beneath her stirring slightly, hand shifting from where it rested around her waist. Her heart warmed when she turned back to find James beneath her, the two of them stretched out on the couch, couch cushions propping his head up slightly.

Daisy shifted a little, staring down at the soldier, the sun shining over the top of his head, interrupted by a shadow so that his eyes were sparred from the light. His dark brown hair shone in the light, whatever hell he hadn't washed out last night now caught by the light. She smiled at him again, breathing soft and steady beneath her, then turned her attention back to the room.

They'd had a movie night, she remembered, rubbing her eyes half heartedly as she took in the sight of her team dozing around the room, spread out with blankets and pillows. There were partially filled bowls with snacks and lollies scattered on the tables and floor. Three bowls between Steve and Sam, sleeping forms stretched out on the floor, were practically empty.

Wanda lay curled up with Nat and Clint on one couches, blankets draped over them loosely. Both woman had their hair braided back and, running a hand over her own delicate braid, daisy remembered the little braiding chain they had made while the boys played cards last night. She played with the end of her braid as she scanned over the other couches where the remainder of her family were spread out. Peter was draped over the back of one couch, Bruce and Tony on the others, each with a blanket draped over them.

Daisy turned back to Bucky, crossing her arms to rest closer to his chest, watching him sleep. They'd watched friends, she remembered, playing games and chatting between laughing before pulling out the extra blankets and pillows, blankets that had been designed for the team each one reflecting a different avengers costume design. A purple and black blanket was draped over Daisy's back, having shifted in sleep, Buckys silver and blue blanket underneath since he was currently under her.

She cast her eyes to the wide glass windows, watching the sky outside, the sounds of the city below unable to reach them up here.

"Jarvis," daisy said quietly, her whisper sounding like a shout in the silent room. "Take a picture" she smiled gently at the image she saw and what she was sure jarvis would capture. The team continued to snooze despite her words, she rested her cheek against Buckys chest, her head rising and falling with each breath he took.

Daisy's brow creased slightly, "jarvis?" She repeated when the ai remained silent, not confirming her request. When he didn't answer daisy turned to look at the mechanic on the recliner, still asleep, hand dangling off the edge of the couch.

Daisy huffed lightly, she wanted to remember this, needed the reminder of them happy and together. Despite herself she eased out of her position in the couch, gently climbing off the couch, over Bucky who didn't stir at her movements. She patted her pockets in search of her phone but she wore Pjs and couldn't remember where she had left the device.

"Jarvis" she said again, raising her voice just slightly as she moved towards the kitchen. She scanned each surface quickly, eyes drifting back to the sleeping group, the scene warming her heart as something nagged at her mind. She needed her phone, a camera, something to capture this moment before it was over.

She felt over the benches, eyes flashing to the roof where security cameras sat, blending into the roof seamlessly, where jarvis operated. Had tony shut the ai down last night? She thought back to the events of the night, starting with a hot meal, laughing as they ate round the large table.

Daisy had stolen a pudding from Bucky, addicted now that Clint had introduced her to the British treat. He'd been baking a lot recently, she had caught him watching The great British bake off while cooking, flour on his burpee apron.

There had been drinks and jokes and laughter before they settled down in front of the tv, mugs of cocoa and marshmallows warming them inside and out. She'd drifted to Buckys side more than once through the evening. Smiling brightly when he had pulled her to an open space, after dropping their drinks onto the closest surface, and pulled her close before swaying to the beat.

It was the perfect night, enjoying her time with her family. The people she loved close and safe and happy.

She needed to record it, save the memory somehow. Her feet shifted beneath her, stumbling to the closest bench, daisy braced herself. Her hand slid over a mass on the bench, her phone sliding into her hand, she was sure it hadn't been there a moment ago but she didn't question it for long, snatching up the device and moving to the open doorway to finally capture the image.

They were still asleep, Wanda snuggled closer to Nat and Bucky rolled over so that he now lay on his stomach, hugging the cushions beneath his head tightly. She smiled at the scene, his head tucked in slightly to avoid the light that now shone on his exposed arm. Sam had rolled over too, the light bouncing off of Buckys arm landing on the back of his head.

She was leaning on the wall that joined the kitchen too the dining room, overlooking the lounge room. She pulled her phone up as she got into the camera, then the wall shifted and she lost her footing once more. Her eyes slid from her still sleeping team over to the large wall of windows that now shook against some invisible pressure. She straightened herself, bracing her arms on the wall. Had she hit the wall on the way down, her ribs ached as if she'd collided with something, she winced.

Again they didn't wake, shifting slightly in their sleep. She needed to take a picture.

Daisy raised her phone as the whistle thrummed in her bones. The vibrations making her arms ache enough to drop her phone, the screen shattering on impact. Something was wrong, something- she turned towards the window as the whistle grew stronger, her bones splintering.

There in the distance, floating a over the city- she turned for her team as the windows shattered, inhaling dust and smoke as the floor collapsed beneath her. Her vision was dark, the sounds of screaming the only sound as she fell and fell and fell.

"Daisy" her eyes shot open at Wanda's soft voice.

She was different, her dark hair a honeyed red, a tiara her he'd on her head made from mists of bright and dark reds. Daisy's eyes searched hers before taking in her surroundings, or lack there of. She was kneeling on a solid black floor in a dark room that stretched on forever. Wanda gave her a gentle smile before reaching out her hands for daisy, offering help.

"Wha— what's," Daisy stuttered, looking around the darkness. "What's, what happened, where..." she slipped her shaking hands into Wanda's waiting ones, squeezing tightly. "What's going on?" She questioned when her eyes returned to the witch. Wanda was crouched to her level, a look of calm understanding on her face.

"You were having a nightmare." Wanda told her gently, slowly. Daisy looked back to the darkness, brows scrunching together.

"What, no," she shook her head. "No, no we were just, I was just looking for a camera, everyone was asleep. We'd just had a movie night and..." she looked back to Wanda who's face remained the same, calm understanding, patient. Daisy shook her head again, pressure building behind her eyes.

"We were at the tower, all of us." She told Wanda whose hands cradled her own. "We had dinner and we drank and laughed and then everyone fell asleep in the living room watching friends." She nodded as she spoke, recalling everything that had happened.

"What did we have for dinner?" Wanda asked softly after a moment. Daisy met her eye.

"We had-" she could picture the table, everyone gathered with plates stacked with pancakes, no not pancakes it had been dinner, pasta.. chicken? "We had," the words eluded her as she tried to recall, eyes falling to the floor.

"You were having a dream, it sounds like it was lovely." Wanda said with a genuine smile. "But it turned into a nightmare," her tone grew softer, sadder. "We couldn't wake you so I entered your mind to try ease you out."

Daisy stared at the floor as she tried to register the words.

"You fell asleep watching tv with us on a shield base called the lighthouse. You drifted off in Buckys arms and had been asleep for a few hours before you started to stir"

"Right" daisy replied. Of course, of course it had been a dream. Wanda tugged on her arms carefully.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Wanda asked. Daisy curled in on herself a little.

"It was just so, normal." She said. "It was, we were all so happy, everyone I love together, happy and carefree, it was peaceful." Wanda was careful to nod, listening quietly.

"And then I woke up and I just wanted a picture, proof of that one moment of peace that we had. Daisy shook her head. "Then The room exploded, and everyone disappeared." She brought her knees up to her chest and dropped her head onto her knees.

"We are all with you," Wanda assured her. "We're here and safe, and we have plenty of time to get back to peace and be together." She squeezed Daisy's hands.

"If you'd like I can help you sleep for a few hours, I'll keep the nightmares away" Wanda offered. "Or I can help you wake up calmly." Daisy shot up, alarm spiking her heartbeat.

"What did I do, is everyone okay?" Wanda was waving her off before she could enquire further.

"Everyone's fine, you spooked quills team but did no damage." Wanda promised, but Daisy's mind was whirring, they're at the base, underground, and she'd gone and nearly- "everyone's fine." Wanda repeated sternly, eyes suddenly serious. She held her eye until she deemed Daisy to be calm before trying for a reassuring smile.

"Now," she said. "What do you want to do?" Letting out a long breath daisy decided.

"I'd like to give you a big hug," she said. "In person" daisy smiled. Wanda matched her smile then squeezed Daisy's hands once more before guiding her to her feet with a gentle pull. Once up she took a calming breath, urging daisy to do the same.

"Okay." Wanda said finally. "Now remember where you were, try to take calm breaths but you'll likely be hazy when you wake up. You remember things more clearly in here than you do while awake." Daisy nodded her understanding and with a final breath the room grew dark and fear crept up on her once more. Fear of falling back into that nightmare, of losing them, of the darkness that followed,

Daisy's vision dimmed but that cold feeling faded, her whole being warming like she was wrapped in a warm hug or the love of her family. She didn't resist when her consciousness finally slipped from her.

She'd fallen asleep, barely into the first episode of whatever it was that Tony had chosen. Bucky slipped his hand a little further around her, readjusting his grip to allow daisy to rest on him better. He made sure she was comfortable, deciding against moving her. She was comfortable, happy to have the team around her, despite their location.

After watching her for a moment he placed a kiss against her forehead, heart thumping louder when she snuggled closer at the touch, lips curling into a contented smile. His lips stretched into a wide smile, unable to contain himself. The small action, small movement making his heart fill in a way he'd never experienced.

It was love, he knew, such a strong and deep love that he was constantly amazed that she felt the same. That she sought him out and seemed to crave his touch as much as he craved hers.

"Eyes on the screen punk" Bucky said after a while, the feeling of being watched not unfamiliar. He glanced up to find his best friend smiling. He sat to the right of him in a metal kitchen chain, like the rest of the team, he refused to get comfortable as they would at home.

Steve simply smiled in reply, looking from him to daisy and back before finally returning his eyes to the screen. Mercifully Natasha and Clint kept their taunts to themselves. They were good nature, lighthearted remarked that he bristled over but really didn't care about. While he scowled at their words he was actually so thankful for them, how they had been there for him and daisy alike.

Finally he turned his attention to the tv to enjoy some time with his family. Partway through daisy shifted closer and his hand started to absently stroke her back.

She barely moved as they watched episode after episode, mercifully, Steve handed him his drink so he didn't have to shift and wake daisy at any point. It wasn't until a few hours later. After quills team had stopped asking questions about the jokes and the characters on tv, both mantis and the big man having a lot of queries that Tony was less than happy to answer.

She'd been smiling for a while, lips twitching up and hand lightly clenching his shirt where it rested on his chest. Then she let it a soft whimper, browns drawing together and fist clenching tight. Bucky rubbed her back, his heart jumping with concern as he tried to shift them into a more comfortable position. When she didn't respond Bucky tried to reassure her with soft calm words but she started to shake against him.

Wanda caught his eye, shifting from her spot across the room and moving over to the couch he occupied. The tv shook on the cabinet where it sat and quill started asking questions, getting up from his seat with confused concern. Bucky didn't pay too much attention, simply monitoring his distance while focusing on daisy.

Wanda tapped her head and then pointed to his temple. Buckys brows dipped, what was she asking? She threw a look at the group on the other side of the room then tapped her temple again. Head, she wanted position to go inside his mind. He hesitated, then Daisy's grip grew stronger and he was nodding. Wanda planted a hand on his shoulder and forced him to hold her eye, telling him she wouldn't pry without saying a word. He didn't give the fear a second to creep in before he felt a warm, sense, feeling fuzzy as Wanda's voice seemed to echo in his mind.

"What's happening?" Wanda asked him in his mind. He couldn't form words himself, couldn't that him how to communicate to her inside his mind. She was inside his mind, he had let her enter his mind to communicate, he understood, with the extra people in the room it was smart but also... she was inside his mind. He tried to think, to conjure up a scene of daisy having a nightmare, to explain that he usually held her as she rode it out but his thoughts snagged on the fact that Wanda was in his mind, could look into—- a soothing presence gave him pause.

"I can ease her out of it" Wanda's voice said into his mind, cutting off his thoughts. "Would that be okay?" She asked him, she asked... did she want his opinion, his permission? Surely she'd know the best call to make, having used her powers on daisy in the past, surely they had discussed it. Bucky hadn't brought it up, hadn't thought of it as it had happened so long ago with no fallout...

"James, she's okay" Wanda told him calmly. "I just wanted your opinion, just hold her close and I'll see what I can do." He could sense her smile that followed, the same soft smile he had seen her offer daisy after an incident.

Buckys arms shifted to hold daisy closer, Tony had shifted to keep quills team away, to give daisy space and get the other man and his group to shit up. Mantis offered assistance but he waved her away, confident and aware of Wanda's abilities as she closed her eyes, attention on daisy who shifted and squirmed, brows furrowed.

Bucky focused on daisy who slowly calmed, body going limp for a moment before snuggling back into his side, expression smoothing out to one of peace. He rubbed his hand up and down her arm in a slow and soothing motion eyes shifting to her face before her lashes fluttered against her cheeks. To his side Wanda shifted, returning her attention to the group but Buckys attention remained on daisy who made a small noise before her body shifted against him.

Daisy cracked her eyes open a wink, several faces immediately coming into view, her lips pulled down at the edges. Her eyes closed again and she shifted closer to Buckys side, the hand rubbing her arm distracting her momentarily. His heart beat under her ear, the material of his shirt soft and warm against her cheek. She let out a soft groan before speaking.

"I'm guessing that last part wasn't a dream then?" She mumbled before reaching up to rub at her eyes, stretching slightly as she did. She groaned again at the lack of response the force herself to wake up properly, she felt damp, as if covered in a thin layer of sweat and her body felt exhausted but she looked around the group. There was concern in their eyes, daisy smiled, heart warming.

Once upon a time that look would have upset her, angered her. The old her might see that as pity, that's what would have set her off, shit her down. Now the concern reminded her that they were there, that they knew her, understood her. That look was comforting.

"Well spoiler alert, it wasn't a fun dream"

Warm smiles answered her and daisy sighed contentedly.

"I think that's a sign," Tony said, joining the group. Bucks hand shifted from her arm to slip around her waist, he pressed a kiss to the side of her head and daisy leaned further into him, smiling at his warm touch.

"We need to get out of here"

"That's your takeaway?" Nat asked as the team turned to him, Tony ignored her.

"First thing in the morning, grab what you can" He instructed everyone, "I'm finding us someone else to stay" he headed for the door. "Quills team isn't invited." He added before disappearing down the hall.

Quill made a noise and daisy resisted a laugh, Steve shook his head but nobody made to argue. Daisy wondered for a moment why they had stayed here this long, then she shifted and a distant ache in her ribs reminded her. They were still recovering, this had been their first real moment together since...Her mind was still separating the reality of her dream and real events.

"Barnes get her to bed before she loses consciousness again" Natasha said, bringing daisy back. She felt better now that she was out of her nightmare but sleepy, awake yet tired. Daisy forced an easy smile even as a yawn tried to take over. Natasha gave her a knowing look and daisy dropped her shoulders.

"Come on doll, let's get you into a real bed." Bucky said, a laugh in his voice. "Or whatever passes for a bed down here" he added under his breath. Clint smiled, pulling a face that said, yeah well..

"This is coming from the guy who willingly sleeps on the gym floor?" Wanda asked, getting up from her spot and moving foreward to take Daisy's hands.

"Still more comfortable than these beds." Bucky replied. Daisy took Wanda's hands, pulling the woman into her arms once she was on her feet.

"Thank you" daisy said to her. Wanda squeezed her buck, gently.

"Always" Wanda responded, her voice soft.

The dream lingered but daisy brushed it off as she pulled back, looking from Wanda to Steve, Clint to Nat. Buckys hand pressed against her lower back, reassuring and comforting, warm against her skin. Daisy yawned and Wanda laughed lightly.

"Uh hello" Peter said, breaking the bubble daisy was in. The group turned at he spoke. "What was that? Are we supposed to be okay with whatever's going on here?"

Natasha simply sighed. She threw daisy a look as if to say I've got this and headed towards the man in question. Clint smiled excitedly before following Nat and daisy again had to fight a laugh.

"Keep yawing and I'll just carry you." Bucky said softly, poking her back.

"Hmmmm" daisy replied, "in that case" she yearned again and Bucky shook his head, smiling brightly. Steve turned from the two to look at the other group in the room and seemed whatever he saw to be unsatisfactory so he gave daisy a tight smile before moving to where Natasha and Clint stood facing peters team.

"This'll be interesting" Wanda said, she tossed her head towards the door before she took moved towards the group.

"That's our que." Bucky said. Daisy scrunched her brow but relented, forcing her feet to shuffle towards the door, still too foggy from her sleep to focus on whatever was happening. Once they reached the hall her hand sought out Buckys, sleep pulling at her, head falling against his arm. He shifted against her, tucking her into his side, Daisy's free hand slid around his waist.

He didn't ask her any questions about her dream, walking quietly back to their room, Daisy's thoughts drifted to what Tony had said. Finding somewhere new, they wouldn't have to stay here, underground, anymore.

Bucky had a similar thought as he rubbed small circles against Daisy's waist, ready to be rid of this place, to get daisy out so they could start living again. He'd ask her about her dream tomorrow, if she wanted to talk about it, for now he'd hold her close.
