Dear Readers, I apologize for the late update. Been into the new Mass Effect Legendary Edition the past few days.
CandyLuv99; Thanks for the OCs, I spotted a few the would be perfect. As for Sherise, things are still working out.
We have made it to chapter sixty, enjoy!
A warm breeze blew by, rustling the grass of a cove where some of the new Ndona pride were resting. Off to the side was Kopa, Jesús and Frankie as they watched Sherise give Asier hunting lessons.
Frankie, lying on the reddish-brown lion's left side leaving Kopa on his uncle's right.
"So..." the light beige lion started. "I've noticed that Sherise seems.. elsewhere. What did you tell her?"
Jesús kept his dark brown eyes on the hunting lessons. He didn't really care about the fact Sherise has a cub already. She was forced into having him and if she chooses him, he will raise and love Asier as his own.
"I told her she's the reason and the rest is classified."
Kopa laughed before the three males returned their attention back to Sherise and her cub.
"Now you need to get low and-" Sherise frowned at the pout on her son's face. "Asier, what's wrong?"
The light brown cub frowned. "I don't know why I'm learning to hunt. It's boring and unnecessary."
Sherise frowned as her ears flickered. "Unnecessary? Asier, who told you that?"
Asier pointed a colorless paw towards the pale cream, black mane lion sitting not far away. "Josh told me that lionesses do the hunting while the males protect."
"He did what!" Sherise roared, glaring dangerously at Joshua who laughed nervously.
Josh chuckled as he backed up, fear shone brightly in his dark brown eyes. "He he, it was a joke.."
Sherise snarled causing the younger lion to jump and back up more. With a deep breath Sherise looked down at her son. "Hunting is important.. for lions not just lionesses. Besides hunting helps with fighting."
"Really?" Asier's dark purple eyes sparked with youthful excitement.
Sherise smiled at him before her ears perked at a loud roar that echoed through the cove. Everyone looked at the dark beige lion in the cove entrance.
...
In the main cave, Kopa was sitting in a meeting with Dae, Vana, Jesús and Francisco.
"Tell me what's exactly going on?" Kopa asked looking between the dark beige lion and dark red lioness.
Dae quickly answered. "Asteria came back with troubling news about the Pridelands."
Kopa and Jesús' eyes widened.
Dae cleared his throat before continuing. "Apparently Zira has attacked the Pridelands. She didn't stay and hear anything else. She thought we need to know and came rushing back."
Kopa took a deep breath before looking at Dae and Vana. "Where's Asteria now?"
This time Vana spoke up. "She's with Ninazu."
Kopa nodded before turning to exit the cave. "Everyone is dismissed."
Once in the sunlight, Kopa headed west to a small den that the resident healer lived. As the tawny approached the cave entrance a older large unique lion greeted him.
Ninazu was largely built chestnut brown lion with a dark brown mane. He had a dark brown stripe on his back, darker colored snout and forehead, large tan spots near his stomach.
"Kopa," Ninazu bowed his head before turning his blue eyes to the young lioness lying in the back of his cave. "Asteria, Leader Kopa is here."
A young creamy beige lioness, barely stepping out of teenage-stage looked up with unusual but beautiful grey eyes. "Sir, I got here as fast as I could."
Kopa smiled before shaking his head. "You did fine. I just came to check on you before I head to the Pridelands."
Asteria stood as determination shined in her grey eyes. "I'm ready when you are."
Kopa went to object when he saw a fight on the younger lioness. He knew automatically he wasn't going to win the argument.
"Okay," Kopa sighed deeply while smiling at the creamy beige lioness. "You can come. Get what rest you can, we leave at nightfall."
"Yes, sir." Asteria exclaimed before leaving the healer den.
Kopa and Ninazu chuckled before exiting the den as well.

The Pridelands
The sun was setting, casting different colours across the sky. A gold lioness walked through the savannah she known as home for a short time.
Scar's last daughter, Nasira. She had a mission and was about time that it was completed. She marveled through the grass towards the gorge, the same gorge that her paternal uncle died in, at the claws of his own brother who was her father. Her young cousin and nephew, now the was her deranged sister, Zira.
Once she reached her destination, she found what she was looking for, well who she was looking for. A young dark brown furred lion sat by the edge with his head low.
"Kovu..."
The gold lioness could hear the younger lion sniff up some tears before watching him turn his head.
"Nasira? What are you doing here?"
Nasira sighed before sitting by the darker pelted lion. "I have a promise to keep."
Kovu gave the older lioness a confused look. With a heavy sigh the gold lioness continued.
"You are not...Zira's son. You are the son of a couple from the Tree of Life."
Kovu's eyes widened in shock and surprise. "The Tree of Life?"
Nasira nodded with a deep breath. "You're actually related to Kion's queen, Rani."
...
A Few Days Later
"Kovu!" the golden lion king roared as a breeze blew through his red mane as his orange eyes were narrowed on the apporching young male.
The dark brown lion walked up to the king with fear in his eyes. Once he was in front of the the large lion he stared at the ground.
"I take it you know..."
"Of course! Why wouldn't I know when my daughter passed out in the middle of a hunt!"
Kovu winched at the raise of voice. "Um...sorry, sir.."
"Daddy!"
Kovu and the king looked and seen Kiara and Nala.
"Simba!" The tawny lioness growled as her green eyes bored into her mate's. "You're being ridiculous!"
"I'm being ridiculous? Nala...he knocked up our daughter! Who I might add is too young to be having cubs!"
"Father! We're mates...it was going to happen sooner or later. True it's too soon but there's nothing we can do."
Simba sighed before looking at his son-in-law. "Do a border check!"
Kovu nodded and hurried down to the savannah. Kiara shook her head before looking at her mother.
"Mom, have you seen Minos and Felisa?"
Nala shook her head. "Not since your wedding. I'm sure they would come around." the tawny lioness turned her head to look at the sun in the sky.
I hope...
