Authors note: hiya! I wanna start by saying, gosh I love reading your reviews! Especially you -C it always makes me smile. Your feedback also helps a lot for me to make sure I haven't missed or overlooked anything. On that note... ideally they would have gone straight back to the tower but because they had been operating wholly out of the compound for the last few months shield had been fully rooted at the tower when thanos attacked, leaving the lighthouse empty.
I figured with the events that went down the team (with the other groups that joined the battle.) would be better off away from the public/ city scene and while the tower is rather private and roomy, the easiest move would have been to take the injured to the lighthouse that was empty and equipped to handle that amount of people and they wouldn't have to deal with getting shield out with their people down.
I don't know if that makes sense but I figured since the media tends to decide wether what the avengers do is heroic or destructive after each event then the team wouldn't want speculation of their people being thrown around while they were stick smack in the middle. Anyway, there's full intention to return them to the tower once shield is wholly cleared out.
I really wanted to bring things we learnt in WandaVision into this fic but I don't believe any of the events from that will take place as in my fic vision and Wanda never had that sort of relationship and so his sacrifice wouldn't have destroyed her.
Anyway hope that clears things up, enjoy this chapter and again THANK YOU SO MUCH
lots of love, enjoy

He wasn't kidding. 6 am tony swung open door after door as he made his way, loudly, down the hall.
"Grab your shit were getting out of this hell hole." He called as he backed on the walls. Daisy was caught between being great full for the escape and wanting to scowl at the mechanic who shot her a wide smile when she shifted to see him after opening their door. Bucky groaned against the abrupt wake up call, curling closer into daisy, arms wrapped tight around her waist.
She'd rolled in the night and they now lay with her back to his chest, warm and solid against her, she glared at the mechanic which had him grinning wider.
"Up and Adam kids" Tony said, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against the doorframe. "Were getting out of this hole as soon as you deign to join us."
Daisy scrunched her nose at the prospect of climbing out of Buckys embrace.
"Close the door tony" Bucky ground out, voice strong and quiet, his breath tickling the back of her neck. It sent a pleasant shiver down her spine, he noticed, hands shifting against her waist in response.
"No hanky panky, we're out in five." Tony replied, turning from the doorway as a pillow hit the frame. He chuckled as he left and Bucky tucked his head into the crook of her neck. Not quite ready to get up either it seemed. Daisy smiled, she caught Steve passing by the doorway, he offered them a apologetic smile before leaning in to close the door. It clicked into place and daisy let herself nestle closer in Buckys embrace, he hummed in response, she could feel his chest rumble against her back.
"Hear that?" Daisy said quietly, her voice groggy from sleep. "We gotta get up."
Bucky grumbled in response and daisy turned her head to look at him, he simply nestled his head further into her neck. Daisy chuckled lightly softly, her hand reaching up to thread her fingers in his hair. She dragged her nails against his scalp and he made a sound that had daisy smirking, repeating the action as his hot breath tickled her neck. His lips latched onto her neck, moving down her shoulder, she paused her movements, tilting her head sideways to grant him access.
"Still want to get up?" Bucky asked between kisses, teeth grazing the spot beneath her ear, making her heart beat faster.
"I never want to get up," she told him, turning her head to see him. He smiled down at her before catching her lips with his own, leaning over her so she didn't have to turn too far. "I'd like to stay," daisy started when they broke apart, his lip trailing her draw. "Right here, forever" she hummed when he sucked on a sensitive patch of skin.
"Right here?" Bucky asked, slowly pulling away. He shifted a little, partially leaning over her, heat to chest. "Or right here?" He leaned down again, smirking as he captured her lips once again.
Daisy hummed her approval, bringing her hands up to brush her nails over the back of his neck, up into his hair until he was practically purring. He pulled away, pausing to press his forehead against her collar bone. Daisy grinned, looping her hands around his neck.
"We gotta get up" he mumbled, daisy chuckled, nails lightly brushing lazy patterns on the back of his neck and shoulders.
"We gotta get up." She agreed.
He moved, jumping up with more energy than she had at this time in the morning, and took a deep breath in and out before scrunching his nose up at her. Bucky leaned back down to the bed where daisy was slowly curling back into the blankets, and caught let lips in another deep kiss.
When he pulled away she followed, giving him access to her hands. She pouted when he pulled her forward.
"Tomorrow" he said as she stood. He pecked her on the lips "we can sleep in as late as we want"
"If we get a room with a lock" daisy replied, she leaned into him a moment, arms wrapping loosely around his back as her cheek pressed into his chest. She felt his chest rumble with a warm chuckle and snuggled closer. His hands played with her hair as he pressed his chin against the top of her head. He simply hummed his response.
"Then we should try to be the first ones in." He said, prompting her to get moving. One last deep I breath of his calming scent and she let go, pulling back and turning for the chair in the corner where they had dumped their clothes. She wondered for a moment where her suit had gone but wasn't really concerned, Nat had had everything under her control, she would have organised something.
"Alright then me Barnes, I guess that makes this a race. " she smirked as she slipped on her pants, shuffling into the, with a few little hops. Bucky, who had been pulling his own trousers on, looked up on time to see her final Little jump, catching her smirk as his eyes rested on her hips a moment.
"No time for that seargeant." She drawled. He scrunched his nose in return and grabbed for his shirt, daisy slipped her own shirt over her hand and went in search for her boots. Buckys eyes drifted to her rear as she bent to slip on her boots he chewed his bottom lip at her movements.
"I think we can make time" he purred, taking just three steps to cross the room, arms sliding around her waist before she was even standing.
They were the last to board the jet. Natasha had waited 20 minutes before banging on the door, mercifully shouting through the heavy metal rather than coming in. Five mines later they jogged up the ramp, daisy in Buckys jumper and each with rough bed hair.
The soldier carried their shoes, their feet bare, and cheeks flushed. (From the jog, of course.) it seemed that whatever calm period they had been aloud was now void as Tony began to clap upon their approach. Clint blew out a wolf whistle that sent Wanda chuckling, Sam grinning ear to ear. Daisy could see the list of sly marks he wanted to make flick through the glint in his eye, but Bucky didn't tense at her side and while butterflies still flustered in her stomachs she simply grinned back. Once the doors had closed behind them she even bowed gracefully, taking in the joy in the small space.
"Don't encourage them" Bucky chuckled besides her, arms crossed over his chest as he shook his head softly. "It feeds their egos."
"Oh, it feeds our egos huh? " Sam said, with a look of utter astoundment. Steve put a hand on his chest to halt him as he moved to take a step foreword, much to his disappointment. But Steve chuckled, head dropping forward with a slight shake.
"C'mon punk" Bucky said, catching Daisy's eye as he took a daring step forward. Intrigued, daisy didn't say anything, Bucky was clearly amused by his friends reaction and daisy was curious as to why. Apart from the obvious 'Steve's a prude' stigma.
"Say it" he dared his friend, standing a few steps away with his arms crossed over his chest. Daisy had remained in place, putting her the furthest away. When Steve finally looked up he was smiling, holding back a grin, he gave daisy a nod.
"Good morning daisy" he said, "Bucky" then he turned on his heel, walking off with a soft chuckle. Bucky grumbled something and threw daisy a look of amusement before following the blonde. Daisy let out her own chuckle, already feeling the familiarities of the group warming her very soul.
"Come on Mishka" Nat said, taking her hand and leading her to the seats on the jet. "You probably don't want to be on your feet for too long after you activ-"
"Nat" daisy hissed, a laugh slipping out as she shoved at the red head. Natasha laughed right alongside her, Clint coming to sling his arm over her shoulder.
"We're just thinking of your well being cupcake" he said, pinching her cheek. "Walking like that-" Daisy's let out a huff as she ducked out from under Clints arm, he chuckled at her reaction and she moved the few steps towards the seats before dropping down.
"I think I liked it better when you guys were tiptoeing around us."
"Sorry babe," Nat said, approaching with drinks she'd produced from somewhere nearby. "Grace period has expired, we officially have free reign over our thoughts on how cute of a couple you two are."
"Oh god" daisy whined at that, hiding her blush by dropping her head into her hands. Clint nudged her with his elbow.
"Relax, the upside here is you can react in anyway you like." Clint said. There was a yelp across the jet and Nat smiled. "Bucky chose violence." Daisy raised a brow but smiled, knowing how Sam could be.
"Really though, you look happy." Nat said.
"Of course she does, you hear-"
"What?!" She squealed at clints sly expression, straightening in her seat.
"Oh you didn't know?" He chuckled. "Yeah those doors are definitely Not soundproof cupcake. Why do you think we were all, already on board."
"Kill me now" she said more to herself than anyone else, her hands once against covering her face. "Please tell me your kidding."
"Would I lie to you?"
Daisy groaned and Natasha rubbed her back lightly.
"I doubt that'll be a one time thing Mishka, at least you heard it from Clint and not Tony."
"Small blessings" she whispered.
"As opposed to barneses large blessings?" Clint questioned, daisy couldn't help her soft laugh at the thought, she turned to quirk a brow at the archer.
"To say the least-"
"I don't want to know, I'm out" he got up and store away, laughing to himself, Natasha and daisy chuckled after him.
"Oh god, how embarrassed should I be?" She asked Nat after a moments silence, Natasha rubbed her shoulder and gave her a tight smile, scrunching her nose, daisy groaned in response.

Authors note: okay so I know this chapters short but I've been struggling to get another chapter done. I'm thinking bout ending this fic, just so it's done and no one has to wait on more updates. But I wanna know your thoughts, do I end this and leave it open so I can do a sequel? Or continue on as I have been?
