Chapter 60: Summer Approaches

A truck was then seen parked in the middle of the streets. Some workers carried the ice statue of Milo Xiloto into the truck. They closed the backdoor up to the truck and rode away.

"Are you sure he's fully made of ice?" Koi asked.

"He is." Jordin replied. "He won't be coming out of his shell… He's already gone."

"Well that's something for not trying to break the statue to pieces." Daichi said.

"I didn't want to go that route." Jordin said.

"Glad you didn't." Koi said.

"Oh shit! Look at the time!" Yoshiro shouted as he looked at the time on his phone. "Gotta head home now!"

Yoshiro then ran away.

"I guess he still needs to do something for graduation this year." Koi said.

"Hey, shouldn't we also head home?" Jordin said. "I want to tell everyone what has happened…"

"I guess that could work." Koi said. "But… Summer is right around the corner, so we should make the last weeks until school ends count."

"Sounds like a plan! I need to get home right now!" Daichi shouted.

Jordin smiles as he sees Daichi and Koi leaving.

"Yep… This is gonna be a good summer… I can tell." Jordin said.

~MAY 21ST, 2022, 10AM~

Jordin and Jocelyn were in the airport.

"Welp, my flight back to America will start in about 10 minutes." Jocelyn said. "Don't worry, the Grain Foundation will still have you settled until you go to college."

"Thanks…" Jordin said. "Oh, and you know, Jocelyn? I should know you more, but I want to wait."

"Yeah! That could work... Once you're done with college, maybe you should come to America to visit me or something."

"Heh heh… Yeah… Well, it's been nice knowing you."

Jordin and Jocelyn then shake hands with each other.

"Gotta go now." Jocelyn said. "I have to be on the plane like right now!"

"Ok, take care!" Jordin said. "Bye!"

Jordin then looks out the window to see Jocelyn entering the plane where she'll take her flight.

"This family is weird…" Jordin said. "Welp, time to be with my friends for today… Looks like summer is approaching…"

~HATSUKI TANAKA~

She was at her house finishing up her essay.

"Yes! It's done!" Hatsuki shouted. "Finally! Graduation will be easier to go through!"

When Hatsuki was about to sit back on her chair, the chair then fell down, same goes for Hatsuki.

"Ow!" Hatsuki said. "Ugh, whatever! I still got it done!"

~TAIYO ARAI~

Taiyo was in a market shopping for stuff for Mitsue's graduation party.

"Hmm… What ones fit Mitsue well?" Taiyo wonders. "Ah! I know what!"

Taiyo then bought what she had bought.

"Ok! Good enough!" Taiyo said. "Time to check out!"

~MITSUE ARAI~

Mitsue was in a graveyard where Tsuki was buried. He went over to his grave and was on his knees.

"Hey, big brother…" Mitsue said. "I know we don't talk to each other that much, but I'll make sure that we get a chance to talk. I know you were an ass to me and Taiyo, but it's ok… We understand your pain…"

One of Mitsue's Pitchfork Kids appeared, which was the 1st one.

"Hey, boss! You got him the gift?" The 1st Pitchfork Kid asked.

"Oh! Yes!" Mitsue replied as he got out moonflowers. "Tsuki, I got you your favorites… These ones are from Hawaii… In America."

Mitsue then leaves the flower near Tsuki's tombstone.

"Hope you love them…" Mitsue said.

~REIKO RABENDA~

Reiko continued to work in the pharmacy she was in.

"Thank you come again!" She said to a customer as another person walks by. "Yes?"

"Reiko, correct?" She said to Reiko. "I'm friends with your mother. She wanted to me to tell you that she is very proud of you for being by yourself in the real world."

"Mother..." She said as she was about to cry.

"And she also wanted to apologize for not giving you more support than your deceased father."

Reiko then sniffed.

"Tell her that I love her too and I accept her apology..." Reiko said.

"Ok, ok! Take care!" The woman said as she walked away.

Reiko sighed.

"I should visit my mom sometimes..." Reiko said.

~MOE CHIBA & NAOMI NOMURA~

Moe and Naomi were in Midori Park.

"FUCK!" Naomi shouted. "I forgot about the essay for Seniors! It's due Monday!"

"Oh… That's no good..." Moe said. "Hey! I have an idea! Do you want me to help you, just to make things quicker?"

"Wh-What? You want to help me?"

"Yeah, I mean, I know how to write an essay, so this shouldn't be too bad."

"Oh my gosh… Yes! Thank you! You're a lifesaver!"

Naomi then hugs Moe hard.

"T-TOO TIGHT!" Moe shouted.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Naomi said. "Almost gonna cry, but hey! I'm glad you're still with me!"

"But do you think we'll be able to hang out after you graduate?"

"Maybe… But we'll see what happens. Ok?"

"Alright… Alright…"

~YOSHIRO KIRA~

Yoshiro was talking to his Aunt on the phone.

"Yes, I have everything." Yoshiro said. "Oh? You're taking me to Poland?! Since when?!"

Yoshiro then opened the window.

"I'm going alone while in College, huh?" Yoshiro said. "I see… You're cool… Ok, talk to you later… Bye, love you."

Yoshiro then ended the call.

"Haya… I wish you would have gone to Poland with me…" Yoshiro said. "I'm sure you'll watch over me while the trip happens and experience some happiness there with me…"

~JORDIN KUJO, DAICHI KAPPAK AND KOI TANAKA~

Jordin walks out of the airport to meet with his two friends, Daichi and Koi.

"Hey Jordin!" Daichi shouted. "We're right here!"

"Hey…" Jordin said.

"You're gonna miss your cousin, huh?" Koi asked.

"Only for a long time, at least until we get to see each other in America."

"Well I'm sure things will go smoothly during that time."

"Heh heh… Sure!"

Jordin and his friends then look at an airplane taking off.

"Take care, Jocelyn…" Jordin said. "I'll meet you in America someday…"

Jordin then looks at Daichi and Koi.

"Well guys…" Jordin said. "I suppose summer isn't approaching a little too early, huh?"

"Heh heh! If you say so!" Daichi shouted.

"Yeah! Why not?!" Koi said.

Jordin and his friends then walk away from the airport to head back to their town to enjoy today's sunshine.

~JOCELYN JOESTAR~

Jocelyn was looking out the window from the airplane to see Jordin's town.

"I'll miss you, Jordin." Jocelyn said. "Hopefully we'll meet each other again someday…"

Jocelyn then sat back and smiled as her flight back to America continued.
