I would rectify my mistake but I fear I would only cause more pain." Opening my eyes I found myself lying down on the floor. Slowly getting up as I winced from the headache.

"why did you… do that?" I asked her as I started to slowly feel better from the headache.

"putting you to sleep seemed to be the best way to calm you down."

"calm… me down?" almost instantly I remembered why I had been freaking out. She knows where I am. I…

"before you begin to freak out again. They are simply trying to find you out of concern of your well being from what I have been able to hear from them. They are currently trying to disable the ward stone. So we do not have much time to explain and we must get busy." she quickly answered

"ok." Calming myself down before I ended up freaking out again. "so what is happening to me."

"your change was a necessity it seems."

"n-necessity?" I stuttered out. "but why would this be happening to me of all ponies?!"

"that is up to the ones who deemed it necessary. But from what I can tell. Its your connection with Celestia."

"… What?" I asked still confused. What did she mean by my connection to Celestia? She simply gave a soft chuckle.

While your magic stabilizes it will fluctuate in an attempt to create pathways for itself to travel all along your body. While a normal unicorn's magic will normally only create these pathways to their horn. An Alicorn, created or natural, has these pathways all along their body to help channel their domains."

"there is a chance. It depends on the state of the body. Unfortunately I can not determine if it will for you or not. You will also have cases of accidental magic. Do not be alarmed by it as its normal for growing magic. Although your magic will be more sporadic as years of growth are shortened to just a few months. They will also be quite… troublesome to deal with… there is also something else I should notify you about…" she seemed to go silent after that statement.

"mating." Silence was all that followed… before a blush quickly filled my face.

"WHAT?!"

"should you find yourself wanting to bear child it will oblige you… and while its growing it wont be able to know the difference between heat of the moment and truly wanting. A newborn created magic is powerful enough to do just that…"

"we haven't…" I simply went silence as the embarrassment of this subject simply filled my mind… as well as the desires for it to happen again.

"I know Derpy Hooves. I am simply warning you of what is to happen and what you should be careful of. Your wing should also be fully healed by the time your magic realizes its needed to be repaired although it may take a few days and you will require some form of pain nullification as it will not know the definition of… subtlety. You will also need to worry about…" the lights in the room began to flash. "it appears that she has reached the ward room. I won't be able to keep this space hidden for to much longer so I will need to be a bit brief about this room… this room is your legacy."

"correct… and it is for you to find out as well. All alicorns must find their calling in life. Follow me." She sped off surprising me as I wasn't expecting to need to move so quickly. Rushing after her we arrived in a room with… a large pattern on the floor. "please step onto the circle. Quickly please."

"alright…" I simply did as I was asked. Once I was stood on the middle I found myself encased in a bright blue light dome. "what's happening?!" I yelled.

"connecting you to the magic that is throughout the entire wing… doing so will allow you to return here at any time through a magic door that you can call. Although I will suggest learning to control your magic first before doing so as you will need to create the door with magic and precision. I can't explain more as my connection to the castle has been cut off and am greatly losing magic. But there are a few books around that should explain things more cleanly, should you find the time…" as she was talking she started to slowly fade away.

"what's happening?" I asked shaking.

"simply my magic exhausting itself… it will be some time before I can talk to you again… stay safe young alicorn… and prove to them all… why your fate is so important…" and with that the magic circle seemed to brighten one last time causing me to cover my eyes. Once the light lessened I opened my eyes to find myself all alone in the slightly lit room. Before I could even think about what I should do next…
