It's night over on Nabu Island. Katsuki sits in his bedroom as he rests from today's cleanup. As he does, the black ooze that is Kuri slithers out from his pores.

His face forms as he and Katsuki face one another. "You did well for a first possession."

"Peh," Katsuki scuffs, looking up at the black alien. "Why did you possess me?"

"Whatever do you mean?" Kuri asks coyly.

"Ponytail Hair let you go so you wouldn't be held back, but you could have gone into anyone's body. So why me, when you're the one who said those things about me when you were into Deku's mom?"

Kuri is silent. The alien mouth curves into a frown as he plans his next words. "I've been with Inko for the longest. I like her and her kid, so I'm going to naturally hate whoever harms them. And you've been doing this since you two were kids."

Kuri forms a hand to emphasize his next point. "I know why he wants you around, but not why you stick around. The other reason for merging with you was to peep into your mind."

"Hey!" Katsuki gets up and grabs his neck. "That's private!"

Kuri slinks back into his pores. "I'll keep your secret; I've kept theirs." Katsuki hears him in his head, along with some chuckling. "No one needs to know that you're a tsundere who wants to make up for what you did to Deku, even though you did so to keep him out of the line of fire."

He turns red and furious. "S-Shut the fuck up!"

"So, you do me a favor and keep what you found out to yourself. That secret belongs to him and Yagi." Kuri turns silent now.

Lying back, Katsuki grumbles as he goes back to sleep. "... damn it."

Chapter 61: My Villain Academia

Several hours have passed since the final blow was dealt. The drone Creati sent has reached the mainland giving the heroes info on what happened; a team arrives on the island concluding the battle to help rescue and heal the students after their climactic battle. The villains Hoyo Makihara, Kiruka Hasaki, and Chojuro Kon are arrested and taken back. While the damage wouldn't disappear overnight, the students work hard to repair what they could in the following two weeks they had left before the Public Safety Commission would order their return.

Finally finished, the students have all boarded a cruise ship that twilight heading to Japan. On the ship by the railing, Izuku leans forward to stare at the island. Next to him is Katsuki leaning back. "I can't believe we went through all that."

"Yeah, well, believe it." Katsuki stares at the sky. His eyes show solemn forethought.

"Kacchan," Izuku asks turning to him, "why did Kuri agree to join with you?"

"What, he didn't tell you?"

"No, and Momo didn't tell me either. I mean, doesn't he hate you?"

Katsuki sighs before he tells what he knows. "That dumb alien knew that my Quirk would work against those freaks, so he decided to lend a hand."

"… was that all?"

Katsuki can't continue after that. Instead, he remains silent.

"MR. DEKU! BAKUGO!" Katsuma and Mahoro come running for the boat, waving and crying tears of joy. "YOU DID IT! YOU SAVED EVERYONE!"

"YOU STOPPED THOSE BAD GUYS!"

"You know it!" Katsuki shouts back, grinning with a thumbs up.

Elsewhere on the ship the rest of the class waves to the kids.

"Katsuma!" Izuku shouts, catching the boy's attention. "Remember what I said! I'll see you at UA one day!"

And as the ship takes Izuku and his class away, Katsuma becomes surprised as he remembers what the spider boy told him. "… I can be a hero…" He then smiles with a nod, determined to not make the teen a liar.

Further and further the ship travels, until the island disappears. Smiling with accomplishment for the next generation, Izuku heads to the upper deck. There, Momo leans against the railing facing the bow, as if waiting for him to join her.

Doing so to her right, he stretches an arm around to hug her close. "What an ordeal that's been."

"It has," Momo says while leaning on his shoulder. "It just makes these moments where we can relax next to each other more worth it."

The two remain this way while watching the dusk horizon. Pursing her lips next to his ear, she whispers, "I have something for you."

"You do?" She cups his hand and smiles.

"It's been October since our intimacy, and we have two hours until we arrive." As she removes her hand, he finds a wrapped-up rubber in his palm. "Shall we?"

He blushes at her suggestion, though not as much as he used to. "Don't you wanna wait until we're in our rooms?"

"Not after seeing you beat that villain up so one-sidedly." She strokes his chin. "Shall we then?"

Looking back behind them for any ninjas, Izuku takes Momo's hand and they happily sneak down into the bay. No one sees them until it's time to dock.

News of Nine's attack on Nabu reaches the world. With his disappearance, the Society of Assassins has fallen to rubble. With no leadership guiding them, the remaining members can't keep up their nuances. And Class 1-A? They have their final exams for the semester.

But let's take a moment to look at serious events that have taken place while the world has been distracted by these kids.

Two Days After Nine's Death…

It's a bright and sunny day over at Deika City. Atop a hill, a lone man stands looming down at everything. He adjusts his suit as his cyan hair shines in the solar light. This man has a mission.

"So, your leader called me here to have a chat?" he asks, looking back at the purple and green hero behind him.

"That is what you think, yes," says the hero Slidin' Go. He holds out a phone.

"Must you call me in such a dismembered manner? I might make you disappear."

A voice speaks on the other line. "So serious you are."

"And good morning to you too," says Tomura on his end, glaring at the device.

"Now now, don't be like that; we used to have a partnership in selling products, remember? But, I guess that part of your life's over, Tomura Shigaraki."

Tomura grinds on his teeth. "What can I do for you to make you call me all the way out here?"

"You received my message?"

He holds up a severed finger. "I did. Why do you have Giran's fingers?"

Over in the highest tower of Deika City is the man on the phone, leaning back on a desk while sipping from a glass of wine. "It seemed to be the best course of action to garnering your attention, as the leader of the almost defunct Villain Alliance. I am Re-Destro, Grand Commander of the Meta Liberation Army."

"So, Mr. Grand Commander, just what in your plans do you need to place fingers of my book keep in areas of my previous actions for Toga to find for?"

"To anger you." He smirks on his end. "The goal of my organization is the true freedom of metahuman abilities. I desire to destroy the status quo and make it so everyone has the power to use their abilities as freely as possible."

"How about fast-forwarding to the part where you threatened me to tell me this?"

"Yeah, you must really care about him. Despite missing pieces, he kept quiet about everything. That's some truly amazing loyalty there…" He takes a sip of his wine. "My army of 116,516 followers is ready to finally take action. The day has come where we no longer need to remain in hiding. This is why we find your little gang causing trouble destroying everything just because you despise it a nuisance to our goals."

Tomura remains silent, until saying, "What a misguided goal."

"You and your kind have to be taken care of. The leader of the new world must be Destro. So, how about coming here and allowing us to settle things? Or maybe we keep digging into Giran's brain the minute we find out you ran?"

After a bit of waiting, Tomura laughs. Teeth bared, he says, "You're on!"

The phone hangs up, and Slidin' Go pockets his phone. "Let's go then." The hero leads the villain down into the city.

Within the district, Tomura Shigaraki adjusts his suit. All over he is surrounded by buildings and space. Looking up, he spots someone dressed as a hero atop a building. "I see…"

A man walks forth approaching Tomura. Next to him a woman with blue skin. "Welcome to Deika City, where 90 percent of the population is comprised of those who support the beliefs of Destro. We'd like to thank you for coming to us, allowing us to put an end to you and your silly little club."

Several men and woman, even a child or two, come out of hiding and storm Tomura, as clouds proceed to gather up above. The blue woman points at him, saying, "His Quirk only disintegrates what his finger touches! Don't be afraid of him!"

Tomura closes his eyes as he's swarmed. "Were your plans simply to overwhelm me with numbers?"

"You made the serious mistake of coming here alone," says Slidin' Go as Tomura is covered in the army members' collected shadows.

His clothes shift before sticking close to him. Their colors shift from gray to red and spread along his body. "Not as serious as yours." He snarls as the clothes turn liquid and flap around him as tendrils. They shoot out and impale each person that comes his way, pushing them off and sending them flying backward.

Tomura laughs as the rest of his clothes merge around and transform him into a horrid being. He is now a red and black Symbiote lifeform with claws for fingers and toes. His wide white eyes open and narrow as he stares at the throng before him, opening his mouth in a toothy snarl.

The blue woman gasps in horror at what she sees. "I didn't hear about this!"

"How are you able to…" The impaled Liberation members get back up and turn around to face their superior. Pieces of the Symbiote's body spread across their face.

"Did you ever wonder why I decided to come alone to an obvious trap?" The possessed members use their Quirks on their fellow brethren, snarling and yelling. "Because it won't matter!"

With a snap of his fingers, lightning strikes down from above attacking other members left in hiding. Tomura then dashes for the blue lady, grasping her face. His Symbiote sneaks inside of her as his hand glows. "Chitose Kizuki… your Quirk is mine!"

As the glowing ceases, he pushes her back before facing the man beside her. With a hand extended, Tomura unleashes a burst of flames that completely consumes him. "Next…"

He makes his way walking to the tower up ahead. As more members attack him, lightning strikes their position. Though he also gets hit by the sparks, his red skin immediately repairs itself. The harsh wind gathers and swirls overhead, causing further destruction to the city. The others who manage to sneak past his weather are immediately slashed apart by his fingers that have become blades.

Some more meta members come at him. Instead of simply slicing them, he reduces them to dust simply by touching them with his five fingers. "Pathetic…"

He finally reaches his destination, a building with the words 'Detnerat' on it. Touching the building with his fingers, he opens up a hole by turning it to dust. He then jumps inside and climbs the tower, decaying any and everything in his path.

Tomura crashes through the ceiling to reach the top floor. Kneeling upon landing, the red villain sees him standing before the hostage tired to the chair. He is an orange-haired man with a receding hairline and a prominent long nose. Over his face is a black mask covering his features. "You look like a Saturday morning cartoon villain."

"And you look a goblin," speaks the villain as he stares at him. "So nice to finally meet you face to face, Tomura Shigaraki."

"Let's not stand on ceremony here, Rikiya Yotsubashi." The villain steps forward to make an assault.

"Need I remind you I possess a hostage?" That black feature on his mask appears on Rikiya's finger, causing Tomura to stop. "You who hold no legacy or power, who act out on hatred, know nothing of my plight."

"You're not gonna give me a backstory right now, aren't you?"

"Might as well. The members who aren't restraining the ones you've turned on us are gathering here to storm the place, so you might as well know the method to the madness." Rikiya grips his fingers into a fist. "Two generations ago, a woman gave birth to a child with an extraordinary power we now dub as a Quirk. At the time, however, everyone hated those with such powers. So she cried to the world to spare him."

As the last word is spoken, a black wave smashes into the Symbiote. He tanks it but dislocates his left shoulder. "No one listened and she never spoke again, because an anti-superhuman faction murdered her." Tomura is struck again and sent into a wall. "Eventually, the government worked with the vigilantes at the time and made the Quirk laws we have today. But their progressive way of thinking was just a means for the government to suppress Quirks. It was worst back then since more Quirkless existed than they do now, but it's all the same dance."

Tomura gets smashed into another wall. "If the masses cannot express themselves fully, they'll never truly be free. Destro even once said, 'this is not the world my mother wished,' and created the Meta Liberation Army as a result."

"Mother?" A fist collides with his face.

"That's right. I am Chikara's son! His will lives in me!" Tomura's head is gripped. "This army exists and is run by the inheritor of that will. What does some no-name villain made to be All for One's stooge have in comparison?"

Tomura stretches his hand to grab Rikiya's, who grips his whole arm. "My Quirk turns stress into power. Recounting that story and taking in all the members of my organization you killed have multiplied it."

With a single motion, he rips off Tomura's arm. "With my power and a hostage, you don't stand a chance."

"… Rikiya…" A hand immediately grows from that socket, which turns into an ax. That bloodied weapon slashes, cutting into Rikiya's arm. The grand commander groans as he feels his attack pierce through his stress.

With the sudden pain, he drops Tomura, stepping back to avoid future danger. "He grew his arm back? But… what is this thing?!"

Uprighting himself, Tomura snarls staring at the man in front of him. "I'm not going to lie; coming here, freeing Giran was secondary. I came here primarily for you." He raises his right hand, a ball of sort slowly forming. This ball has yellow eyes and a mouth like Pacman. "To understand just how you tick."

He throws the item at Rikiya, who immediately punches the ball. The result is an explosion.

Such destruction wrecks the building's peak, and from the dust clouds, Tomura leaps out with Giran in his arm. He touches the building with his other hand, the structure slowly dispersing into decaying dust. Rikiya explodes from its confines wrapped in his blackened stress.

As he lands, electricity sparks overhead in the black clouds hovering. Tomura then speaks his mind. "I despise this society as well, where the world has to rely on heroes. While our motivations follow different paths, we share the same pit stop. So instead of wasting your time fighting me, wouldn't it be more productive if we work as one?"

Disgruntled, Re-Destro glares as his face gains a beak-like mask. "It would be foolish to work with you and expect you to not betray me. Besides, there can't be two kings. Two suns will only destroy everything they shine upon!" His Quirk collects into his palms.

A hurricane swirls around them, trapping the red villain and the black hulk of a CEO in the eye. Those black tendrils of stress fire at Tomura, who takes a knee. With hands to the ground and a tentacle hoisting Giran up, decay rots away at the ground. All of Rikiya's power is eradicated as a result slowly, spreading across the ground turning it to sand. "You're right, Rikiya. That is why I killed the Society of Assassins' leader Nine!"

Gear assembles onto Rikiya as he pushes his Quirk beyond its limit. Even still, Tomura decays away. Cracks slither through every inch of Rikiya's Quirk, destroying it.

On the other side of the hurricane, the members of the Meta Liberation Army stand at the ready. Even with their Quirks and equipment, mother nature still has them beat. All they can do is way, and run away from the cracks slowly spreading on the ground. Decay continues to erode and destroy everything, including buildings and those too slow to run away.

As the army steps back, the blinding dark winds of the hurricane disperse. All eyes focus on the apparent conclusion as the sky clears, the sun shining down on the battlefield like a stairway to heaven. There he stands as the victor towering over his foe.

Kotaro Shimura is out of his Symbiote form with one hand held out and the other in his suit pocket. Below him is Rikiya with torn clothes and a body that looks extremely dehydrated. His feet are gone as well, the stubs that are his legs left to bleed on the sandy floor.

Victorious, he turns around to face the crowd of thousands. The CEO of Detnerat groans as he raises his head. "You… spared me… why?"

"It's your last chance, Re-Destro," he tells the man, turning his head as he speaks. "Die now and never have your goals achieved, or give me full command and we'll destroy the status quo." A finger points up. "Once I do that, you can do whatever you want with the pieces of society. The fact of the matter is, things cannot stay this way."

Rikiya coughs in between laughs. "You're a cruel man, Shimura."

"Cruelty is a matter of perspective."

Later…

After the strangely one-sided battle, everything is eventually covered up. A group of terrorists who hated heroes attacked the city, killing a few people before causing hundreds in damages; this becomes the official story.

Right now, all members of the Meta Liberation Army have collected underground in an auditorium. Kotaro stands before a crowd of his new army on stage. Behind him are the remaining members of his Villain Alliance: Dabi, Twice, Himiko, Mr. Compress, and Magne. Beside him is Rikiya in a wheelchair.

As Rikiya goes on with the ceremony, Kotaro snickers as he stares at his accomplishment. But really, he's listening to someone else in his earpiece. "You've rebuilt your organization, I see. I'd be impressed if you did it on your own merit. You barely relied on the power he left you."

"It doesn't matter how you get somewhere, so long as you get there," he whispers back to Ujiko. "Besides, now we can focus on our real goal instead of wasting time looking for soldiers."

"Still, you're hard-pressed to get what you need. A hundred thousand men, but this raw force still won't be enough to eradicate the status quo."

"Not if you don't know where to strike." Kotaro glares deep into the crowd of thousands. His eyes pick out the images of a few heroes that have been likened to the MLA cause. One of these famous individuals is the hero Hawks. 'Of course, setting a trap doesn't hurt.'

December 5th...

After concluding their End of Term Exam, some of the members of Class 1-A and 1-B are together in Heights' Lounge conversing and just hanging out.

Izuku sits on a couch looking at a series of notes he has written on the heroes in training from Class 1-B. He's also adding notes to them while drawing a picture. "Lizard Tail Cutter… gives Tokage the power to split her body to pieces. Blades don't work on her I bet."

"Ooh!" He jumps from his seat at how close Setsuna's voice is, noting her head right behind him. "That's a nice picture!"

"Uh, thanks," he tells her as her head returns to her neck.

"Hey guys, check this out!" Setsuna says, calling over Tetsutetsu, Rin, and Ibara.

"Ooh!" Rin turns to his page and notes his detailed drawing.

"Like a saintly scribe, you've immortalized me," Ibara speaks to Izuku, who blushes at the praise.

"How manly! I didn't think you were so good at drawing." This is Tetsutetsu.

"Yeah," Izuku begins, "writing notes on Quirks and sketching has always been a pastime of mine."

Kyoka watches with Momo at the attention the spider was receiving. The earphone girl smiles as he continues to show them more drawings and the details of their Quirks. It's just like when they first met. "I guess drawing was another thing he's good at, besides being a hero."

Momo wordlessly agrees with her own smile. Her sound friend sneaks closer to her and whispers, "Of course, making you scream was the third thing he's good at."

The rich heroine turns red. "… please keep it to yourself."

"I already have."

As more collect around him, Izuku jumps to the ceiling. "Please, please! One at a time." He then lands upright facing his classmates.

As glad as he is to have this much attention on him, it's far too much. Though thinking about it, he honestly is surprised that his life has become what it is now. Compared to this same time last year, he was just a Quirkless loser no one wanted to be around; now he's as popular as Katsuki was.

"Midoriya." He turns to Neito Monoma, one of the five he faced in his exam. Ordinarily, he has this cocky look on his face that belittles all others. Now, he seems confused. "I think I finally figured out why you're such a strange character to this establishment."

Confused, Izuku asks, "What does that mean?"

"What exactly is your Quirk?" His question lodges air in Izuku's throat. Of course, he would ask that.

This also prompts others to pay attention. Setsuna even says, "It's obvious, of course. He has a spider Quirk. That's why he's Spider-Man."

"Actually," Eijiro speaks up now, "that doesn't explain the electric parts."

"He can also fly and use black whips or something," Camie says now.

"It's weird…" Neito stares at his hand. "I tried copying your Quirk, and I know I got something, but it was a Blank."

"A blank?" asks Izuku.

Itsuka Kendo steps forth to explain. "Well, as you know, Neito's Quirk is Copy. He can copy Quirks. But, there's a limit to it. Right?"

"Yeah, he can only do it five or ten minutes at a time," Izuku reasons aloud. Neito isn't exactly quiet.

"So you remembered after all!" Neito says, his personality starting to leak out. "But, I can only copy the Quirk itself. It doesn't work on the accumulated resources to activate it or the conditions they require for use. Like Eri's Quirk, or Fat Gum's, or in this case, yours, those are what I call Blanks."

Reiko Yanagi leans against the couch as she listens in. "That's true… weirdly, it didn't work. What a mystery, Midoriya."

"Uh," he mutters, stunned trying to think of something to say. "That's… I'm not sure I can explain properly."

Neito stares at the sheepish spider boy. Shrugging, he says, "It'll come to me, and I'm sure you have an explanation."

As the rest of the room focuses on Izuku's plight, Katsuki is sitting against a wall. Annoyed, he shouts, "Who the fuck cares?"

All eyes go to him. "Deku loves to talk about Quirks, so if he ain't speaking he can't. There is no reason for you to be snooping in his life!"

That is surprising on both ends. Even Momo looks on at her classmate with newfound gratitude. Never did she expect him to back Izuku up like that. He is the one who would want to get some answers. Does Kuri have something to do with this?

The day soon comes to an end as the students return to their respective rooms. Izuku is the last to leave once more, glad that everyone dropped it. Aside from Momo, no one else needs to know about his strange body. Sighing, he gets up from where he sits and walks to his bedroom.

Along the way, he notes someone walking to the lounge. "Oh, Yagi."

"Midoriya," he says as the spider approaches him.

"What brings you to Heights Alliance?"

"Melissa wanted me to bring her something tonight." The man points with his thumb to the girls' location in the building. "Have you fully adapted to UA as of yet?"

"Yeah, I'm doing well." Izuku looks at his hand flexing his fingers. "It's still challenging trying to control One for All. Melissa's suit allows me to use 100 percent, but I can't even keep up 10 without it."

One for All has been acting weird for him; at one point he could use 60 percent against Hitomi and her Sinister Six, but now he can't retain more than 10 or even five safely. His thoughts go back to when he fought Nine and he defeated him in their first battle, worrying about what would have happened if he didn't have it. "That villain was way too strong for me without it. Forget 100 percent; without One for All, I wouldn't have been able to hurt him or Riot. And now, I got a bunch of other Quirks to use that don't hurt me and now everyone's starting to question my Quirk."

Understanding his feeling at the moment, Toshinori sighs before saying, "It's a lot, isn't it? I did ask for you to keep this a secret."

He did. "Don't worry. I won't tell."

Patting Izuku's back, Yagi wishes to give thanks. But, now he's probably more tired after everything today. "Now, run back to your room. Even someone with high stamina needs rest."

With that, he walks past Yagi and heads for his bedroom. Upon reaching his room, he reaches for the handle only to stop. An idea hits him before he makes his way to Momo's room on the girls' side. It would be fruitful to be with her for the moment.

He knocks on the door. She then opens up, surprised to see him. "I'm here."

"Izuku? I thought we were saving that for tomorrow."

"That's not why I'm here." Izuku steps in as she closes the door and locks it, the two sitting on the bed together. "How are you feeling? You were very upset when you lost to Kendo's team."

"Yeah…" Momo sighs through her nose remembering when she was outmatched, outsmarted, and defeated by Itsuka. "It's starting to become apparent that I can't handle close-quarters combat. She disabled my weapons and kept me from taking action…"

She raises her head looking at him. "In your notebook, do you have anything for me?"

That takes him off guard. "You want my notes for improving your combat style?"

"I do. I didn't before because I wanted to improve by myself, but now I feel I need outside help. Simply relying on weapons for battle won't work on long-range opponents like Hitomi, and Kendo will just knock aside my weapons and attack the areas not covered."

"Can't you use a gun or cannon?"

"A cannon takes too many lipids, and it's risky using a gun without proper training. To be honest, I'm not even supposed to be using a gun; I only ever did as a last resort." Momo rubs her left shoulder while she speaks. The only time she has ever been successful with a gun was when she received that scar from that Noumu.

Thinking, Izuku contemplates how to help her. He checks his notebook and begins to look through the extra pages. "No, not here… let's go to my room."

The couple makes their way to Izuku's bedroom as fast, and quietly, as possible. He spots Minoru down the hall just in the direction of his doorway. 'Uh oh.' If he sees them, Minoru will start spreading true rumors.

Coming up with an idea, Momo whispers something in his ear. His eyes light up when he wonders why he didn't think of that and nods.

Minoru knocks on Denki's door. "Kaminari, you still awake? Do you eat the white film in the pomegranate too?"

As he awaits his response, a thick cloud of smoke surrounds him. He coughs as his vision is obscured, the immediate area he's in blanketed. "What the hell? Is there a fire?!"

The smoke remains for a few seconds before dispersing. With a wave, he pushes a bit of the smoke out from him and glances ahead. His ears catch the sound of a door closing. "Huh?"

Denki opens his door, asking, "What was that, Mineta? Something about the white-" He then notes the remaining smoke dispersing. "Is someone smoking?"

"Hold on." Minoru goes to Izuku's door, already putting two and two together. He knocks on the door calling his name, and the spider boy opens up with his head poking out.

"You saw the smoke?"

"You're not setting up a demonic ritual, are you?!" Minoru asks him with worried eyes.

"What, no…. Wait, what?"

"You know, a ritual that summons sexy demon skanks from the underworld!"

Izuku looks back inside and sighs. "No, it's not a ritual. I just accidentally set something on fire and had to air out the room."

He doesn't seem to buy it from his expression. "How do you-"

"Midoriya," Denki speaks as he comes out. "You okay in there?"

"I'm fine, just an accident. See you guys in the morning." Izuku then closes the door.

After waiting by the door and hearing them talk for a bit, the spider sighs when they finally leave his door. "Phew." He turns to his guest coming out from the closet. "Demon ritual?"

"He said it, not me." Minoru might be growing more depraved. Oh well. "Keeping it a secret is a hassle, but having multiple Quirks is very useful in the end."

"So long as they're not stolen," Momo tells him as she shifts through his collection of notebooks in his dresser. One of them reads 'Discarded Ideas,' garnering her suspicions. "Is this the one?"

"Yup." He takes the book out of her hand and sits on the bed. As she snuggles next to him, the two of them scoop through and see that the pages are actually taped on pages of other notes and pictures. Each one has a hero or hero in training with some form of alternate direction Izuku could suggest for their Quirks. After several pages of searching, they come before Momo's section. One picture shows Momo dressed as a ninja. The other has her in her original costume wielding a cape; her hands hold a bow pulling an arrow to be fired.

Just as Izuku is about to turn the page, she stops him. "Wait, hold it… archery?"

"Oh, yeah, this was just something I thought of random. What if you went for a long-ranged approach? That was the question." Izuku explains as he points to the notes written below the picture. "You see, an arrow is just a thin shaft with sharpened arrowheads. You can easily make one without having to think too hard, and you can even customize the arrowheads with your Quirk. For example, you can make them out of Oscillite or have them ignite when exposed to air."

"Or explode on contact!" She adds, eyes widening. A whole new world of direction opens up for her. "Why didn't you share this with me before?"

"Well, I only came up with this idea a little before the Sports Festival. And when you made the shield and wanted to refit your costume for close-quarters combat I decided to let you go with your choice and kept it to myself."

"I wish you hadn't." Momo raises her hand, causing an arrow to rise from her arm. "I have a bit of archery experience back in middle school, and we have a teacher who is a shooting expert."

She must mean Snipe. "I wonder if he'll be willing to teach me…"

The rich girl lies back while checking more of his notes. "A means of using my Creation as conservatively as possible, while at the same time allowing me to support you from a distance."

"Support?" Izuku asks her.

"Without Kuri, I can't hope to catch up with you. Or Bakugo. Or Kendo. And Hitomi… I had to use ethyl chloride. I can't rely on Kuri for everything." She places the book on the bed. "It's an interesting idea that I want to go forward with."

Izuku looks at her. "Are you sure?"

"I still have the glasses Melissa gave me, I can still keep the cloak, and my suit can stay the same. It'll just be an eventual addition of an arrow holder and a bow. Or a crossbow."

"How well are you at archery?"

"Well…" The two continue to bounce ideas off one another until fatigue took over.

It's the night following. Over in Musutafu, deep inside of Heights Alliance, the students are fast asleep. Among them is Izuku, snuggled closely with Momo in bed. As they lie in a tangled mess of blankets and sweat, a meeting occurs.

Izuku opens his eyes. He's standing not in Momo's bedroom, but inside of a realm of darkness. It's his mind, just like before a couple of other times. His body is still mostly smoke too.

Back again. Is this going to keep randomly happening?

"Don't feel too bad." Everything comes to a halt at the sound of that voice. It is one he recognizes only hearing only once in his mind. Looking around, there he stands just in front of him. There is also another man kneeled before him, which looks just like Kotaro Shimura dressed as Shigaraki.

All for One?! Izuku calms down after taking a minute to think about his situation. Oh, wait. It's okay. He's not really here; maybe I'm looking at a memory.

"You've aced the training so well, Shimura. It's time we took action. Soon, you shall make your mark and change it for the better..." All for One claps his hands as Kotaro raises his head. "Unleash your hatred and rage upon the world that has destroyed your happiness and let them know what they've done, Tomura Shigaraki."

"Tomura..." Kotaro raises his head. "Isn't that the name of Tenko's favorite game?"

"It's appropriate, for Tomura means funeral." All for One chuckles. "While you don this costume, covered in the hands of the society that pushes and pulls you down, your hatred shall turn those who do into the products of a funeral."

"... and Shigaraki?"

"Oh... that's my name!" He chuckles once more. "Reiou Shigaraki."

Though Izuku can barely see the villain's face, he's starting to understand what he's seeing. This is indeed a memory. But, there is one problem.

Why am I seeing a memory of Shigaraki? I thought I'd see only memories of the eight users of One for All.

"Oh contraire, Izuku." His heart skips a beat. He's actually talking to him! "It may be a surprise to you, but you're looking into my memory."

What? How?! And why are you talking to me?!

"I would have to say it's because of One for All, but it's also because of your genes." A hand points to Izuku. "You may not have my Quirk, but you possess the genetics capable of accepting it, as did your father. While that alone wouldn't let us converse, I've gained a sort of clairvoyance with your mind thanks to her."

Her?

"Me." Oh no. Arachne is walking forth, just behind him. "You're connected to me, and that connected me to him." Izuku steps back, attempting to leave. The spider woman speaks, "You see, Izuku, me and grandpa made a deal."

All for One steps forward. In his careful, charming voice, he says, "While it's fine if Tomura succeeds if, for more ironic reasons, I'm not against keeping this in the family. I created One for All, and I can give you All for One. Once you overcome that defect, you will be the perfect vessel."

Izuku can't escape. Just what will they do to them? Before he could worry more, a hand grabs his shoulder and pulls him back.

He snaps away, sweating even more than he did before going to sleep. Wiggling out of Momo's grip of love, he breathes heavily.

Kei: It's not much of a breather episode. It's more like a 'while this has been going on' episode.

Wanda: You said it, not me.

Lucas: The real shit starts to take off next chapter. The Paramount War begins.

Luna: No it doesn't.

Lucas: Huh?

Luna: One person gets to have a heart-to-heart with another. Also, Paramount War? That's One Piece.
