Next Chapter is the last chapter! Then I'll be sporadically adding in future outtakes & some past outtakes from this story. The outtakes will actually have chapter names, so you'll know they're outtakes and not additions to this particular story. Anyways, enjoy!

Chapter Sixty-One

"So, why are you doing all this?" I asked Tanya, "What are you getting?"

"Edward gets what he deserves, a ton of money, freedom to do what I want," She said as she scrolled through her phone, "I mean, there are a lot of reasons."

"Tanya, you don't have to do this, please. I've never done anything to you." I said.

She shrugged, "Really Bella, I don't have any beef with you. I do think you deserve better than Edward he's a dick. But it's too late now. By midnight tomorrow, Caius is going to kill you after he kills Edward."

I closed my eyes, biting my lip. I needed to get out of here. If I stayed here any longer, then Edward would do everything Caius wanted, and I couldn't let that happen.

"Tanya, do you think I could use the restroom? I'm very uncomfortable."

"Just go in your pants," She said without looking up from her phone.

"Um, it's not pee," I said, blushing. It was embarrassing, but I needed to lie to get out of here.

"Ew," She said as she stood, "Fine, you got five minutes. But don't do anything stupid," She pulled a gun out of her pants, "I will shoot you."

I nodded, "I won't. I just need to use the restroom."

She helped me to my feet and unchained the metal collar around my neck. She grabbed my arm and roughly pulled me to the corner of the room. There was a very rundown bathroom that I was pretty sure didn't work. But I spotted what I needed to get out of here, so I said nothing.

"Could you undo my hands? I can't really go with my hands tied. Unless you're going to help me."

"Ew, again," She said, "I'm not helping you go to the bathroom."

She took the handcuffs off and shut the door behind me. I moved quickly and quietly, counting down the minutes.

"Are you done in there?" Tanya asked.

"Yeah!" I said, standing by the door and waiting.

She opened the door and before she could figure out where I was, I hit her as hard as I could with the toilet lid. She wobbled for a minute, not falling to the ground. I swung it again. This time, she hit the ground. Hard.

I snorted and placed the lid on the ground. I dragged her into the bathroom and handcuffed her to the sink. I also grabbed her gun and checked to make sure it was loaded. It was full. I grabbed her phone and tried to open it.

I only typed in the passcodes a few times before a number I recognized called me.

"Edward!" I said happily, "I'm so glad you called! I'm free I—,"

"I know, I saw," Edward said.

"How?"

"There's a camera in the corner of the room. I saw everything," He said, "I'm on my way. I should be there in the next hour, I'm trying to go as quickly as I can. Stay in the room. I'll get you out."

"Edward if I stay here, then I'm a sitting duck. I can almost guarantee Caius is watching the cameras too," I said, "I need to get out of here and get outside. If I'm outside, I can hide or get help."

"There's nothing around you except trees."

"Where the hell am I?"

"In Jersey. Bella if you run out into the woods and get lost, then we'll have bigger problems." He said.

"Edward I can't stay here. If Caius comes in here and sees that Tanya is gone, he's going to retaliate." I told him.

"Edward she's right," I heard Jasper say, "She needs to hide somewhere safe outside of the house. Once Caius realizes that you haven't met with anyone from the board, then he's going to freak. He's going to hurt Bella. It'll be harder to find her if she's outside."

Edward groaned, "Fine. Bella, do you have a weapon on you?"

"Yeah, I have Tanya's gun."

"Perfect," He said, "I'm going to guide you out of the building. You move as quietly as you can."

"Edward," Jasper said again, "As soon as she opens that door, an alarm is going to go off. You have to manually put in the passcode and I don't have it. I'm going to have to turn the entire system off."

"No! Then we're not doing it! Bella just stay there and shoot anyone who walks through the door."

"Edward I have fifteen bullets and I don't have a great aim! And I'm pretty sure they'll have guns too!"

"The safest way for Bella to get out of the house is to shut everything down and get her to a safe hiding spot." Jasper said.

"Edward please, there's not a lot of time," I begged, "I'm hurt, and I'm scared. I just want to get out of here. Let Jasper shut the system down. Text me the way to go."

"Alright," Edward sighed, "I'm going to get you Bella. It's going to be okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

I hung up the phone and waited. After a few moments, it buzzed.

Jasper shut the system down. Go now! – Edward

I carefully opened the door and crept into the hallway. There were two directions, I wasn't sure which way to go.

Once you're out of the room, turn left and walk until you come to a big door. It leads outside. But once you get there, you're going to have to wait exactly five minutes. There's a guard who's walking around the building. He's kept on the same routine. It takes him five minutes to walk around the back of the building. In five minutes, he'll be far enough away. Run as fast as you can. Find a place to hide and don't move. I'll be there soon. – Edward

Okay. I love you. – Bella

I love you too. – Edward

I followed his directions and waited five minutes. Once the five minutes passed, I ran out of the door.

Edward's POV

We abandoned the cars about twenty minutes away from the house. There were seven men in the house. And there were five of us. But we had the upper hand, they didn't know we were coming. As we ran towards the house, I texted Bella.

Are you safe? – Edward

I'm safe. – Bella

I nodded and pulled my gun out. My chest was killing me, but I fought off the pain. I needed to get to Bella and make sure she was safe.

"Alright," I whispered, "Guns loaded. Kill everyone here except Caius and Tanya. I want to kill them myself. I'm going to find Bella."

They nodded and crept off towards the house. There were two men stationed outside. We had memorized their routine. If they were smart they would've changed it up. Idiots.

Send me a picture of where you're at. I'm coming to you. – Edward

After a few moments, she sent me a picture. I studied the picture, trying to remember any significant landmarks. There was a large mossy tree in her picture.

I followed the path I had told her to take. I ran for about twenty minutes before I found the mossy tree that was in her picture.

"Bella?" I called out quietly.

"Hello Edward."

I spun around and found Caius and Bella. He had his arm wrapped around her chest and a gun pointed against her head. I felt my heart drop.

"I told you not to do anything stupid," Caius said, "Did you really think I wouldn't have noticed the security systems being cut off?"

"Let her go," I pleaded, "Take me instead. I'll do whatever you want."

"It's too late for that." Caius said, "Put you guns on the ground and kick them to me."

I followed his instructions. I didn't want to give him a reason to pull the trigger.

"Now, you're going to handcuff yourself to that tree." He threw a pair of handcuffs at me.

Once I was cuffed to the tree, he relaxed his grip on Bella.

"I told my men that you would be coming. I'm sure everyone you've brought is dead now."

"What do you want?"

"My men are going to come get you in an hour. They're going to take you to sign my brother's businesses over to me. If you don't comply, I torture your girlfriend very slowly. Once the businesses are signed over to me, they're going to kill you and I'm going to kill her." Caius said.

"Please, don't hurt her," I begged, "I'll do whatever you want. You can kill me, but please let her go."

"Sorry, had you done what I said, then I probably would've let her go." Caius said.

"I'll do whatever you want now! Please don't hurt her!" I cried.

Caius laughed, "Pathetic. All this crying over a woman. You should use this time to reflect on your choices. Had you not become so invested into her, maybe none of this would've happ—."

A gun fired. I cried out, thinking he shot Bella, but then I realized it was Bella who shot him.

Bella's POV – Thirty Minutes Earlier

I ran until I was completely out of breath. I couldn't go any further, my body was hurting. I felt like I was going to pass out. That wouldn't be good. Edward will be here soon and if I passed out in these woods he would have a hard time finding me.

I looked around, trying to find a place to hide. There was a large tree that had fallen. The side was hollowed out, there was enough room for me to wiggle inside and hide. Perfect.

I got down on my knees and started to crawl inside.

"You can stop now," A voice said, making me jump, "It's not going to do you any good."

I turned around to see Caius, standing there with a gun pointed at me.

"Stand up." He said, "And walk over to me."

I did as he asked, not wanting to give him a reason to pull that trigger. As soon as I was close enough to him, he grabbed me and wrapped his arm around me. He pressed the gun tightly to my head.

"I know you have Tanya's phone, hold it up." I pulled it out of my pocket and held it up.

"Ah, there's your boyfriend now," He chuckled, "He's here. Perfect. Tell him you're safe."

I did as he asked. Edward texted back a few moments later.

"Send him a picture."

Again, I did as he asked.

"He should be here any moment."

"What are you going to do?" I asked.

"I want to kill you, then kill him," He said, "But I need you both alive for a little bit longer."

"Edward's going to kill you," I snorted.

"It's cute that you have so much confidence in him," Caius said, "Now, you shut up. If you alert him, then I'll shoot him."

I bit my lip and waited, listening for the sound of footsteps. I didn't have to wait too long. My heart sank; Edward was walking right into a trap.

"Bella?" Edward called out quietly.

"Hello Edward," Caius said as he stepped from around the large tree, dragging me with him.

Edward spun around, his eyes getting big. He looked terrified.

"I told you not to do anything stupid," Caius said, "Did you really think I wouldn't have noticed the security systems being cut off?"

"Let her go," Edward pleaded, "Take me instead. I'll do whatever you want."

"It's too late for that." Caius said, "Put you guns on the ground and kick them to me."

Edward put his gun down and kicked it over to Caius.

"Now, you're going to handcuff yourself to that tree." Caius pulled a pair of handcuffs off of his pants and threw them at Edward. Edward picked them up and cuffed his arms around the tree. I felt Caius's grip relax around me.

"I told my men that you would be coming. I'm sure everyone you've brought is dead now."

"What do you want?" Edward asked.

"My men are going to come get you in an hour. They're going to take you to sign my brother's businesses over to me. If you don't comply, I torture your girlfriend very slowly. Once the businesses are signed over to me, they're going to kill you and I'm going to kill her." Caius said.

"Please, don't hurt her," Edward begged, "I'll do whatever you want. You can kill me, but please let her go."

My eyes widened, I opened my mouth to argue, but Caius talked before I could.

"Sorry, had you done what I said, then I probably would've let her go." Caius said.

While Caius was distracted, I reached into my pants. I still had Tanya's gun.

"I'll do whatever you want now! Please don't hurt her!" Edward cried.

Caius laughed, "Pathetic. All this crying over a woman. You should use this time to reflect on your choices. Had you not become so invested into her, maybe none of this would've happ—."

Before he could finish, I shot him in the stomach. Edward cried out. Caius's grip loosened, then he fell down to the ground. I grabbed his gun and his key. He was gripping his stomach, blood pouring from him.

I unlocked Edward's handcuffs. He immediately wrapped his arms around me. He pulled me into a deep kiss. For a moment, everything was okay.

"I'm going to get you out of here." He said, "There's a car a couple miles from here."

"Where's everyone else?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. But I need to get you out of here." He said, "I have to take care of something first."

Edward took the gun from me and walked over to Caius. As he pointed the gun at his head, I closed my eyes and plugged my ears.

I did hear the muffled sound of a gunshot, but I felt the bullet shoot through my shoulder. I gasped, crying out and falling to the ground. Another gunshot filled the air. I felt a pair of hands on me.

"Bella!" Edward's voice sounded so far away. I opened my eyes too look at him, but my vision was blurry. I couldn't keep my eyes open for long. My head fell back and I succumbed to the darkness.

Edward got to Bella but I left it on a cliffhanger! Sorry, I'm a little wicked haha. But tomorrow, I'll be updating the final chapter! Have a great day!
