Sometime later Doctor Cyril Taft arrived at the hospital reaching ICU ready for action. After stopping at his office first to pick up his mail before going to see Gibbs.
The next stop was the nurse's station. One of the nurses working lifted her head to say to Doctor Taft that he was wanted in Special Agent Gibbs room.
"Thanks. I am going there now." he will have to say with frustration.
Walking the opposite way to the hallway. He reached his room seeing through the glass partition. He walked in to have Doctor Gilbert handing him the medical chart.
"His heart valve on the right is giving us a problem. I had all of the tests done to make sure Doctor Taft," he replied with the bad news.
Taking a look at the x-rays, cat-scan, and MRI of the chest cavity. "We need to make sure that Gibbs is stronger enough to have me perform the operation on him?" he advised on the subject.
"We can't wait, Doctor. His life signs are dropping. I know that he is your patient and friend. I do suggest that you're able to sit this one out because of it?" Doctor Gilbert needed to say for the sake of Gibbs's friendship and mostly his life.
"I will do it Doctor Gilbert. And I will be able to control myself during the operation. Set up the operating room right away with getting him prepared for surgery?" Cyril Taft needed to say with a deep breath.
Doctor John Gilbert walked out of Gibbs's room to set up everything. Meanwhile, Doctor Taft had prepared himself both mentally and physically.
"Jethro, I am truly sorry about all this with the operation. I just hope to god that I am able to save you again my friend?" he cried out with heading out to the nurse's station to write down something for one of the nurses.
The team gathering up on the floor having to be working elsewhere prior. The operating room was getting ready for the operation.
Doctor Cyril Taft had called Catherine to let her know the situation. Telling her about the heart operation.
"OMG! That's terrible Cyril. What about Loreile? does she know at all about her husband?" she had to ask.
"I have no idea at the moment. I understand that Director Leon Vance was supposed to have been calling her." Taft said to his wife over the phone.
Loriele had finally arrived at the hospital after making sure that she was able to arrive safe and sound with an escort after the manager had given her permission to leave.
She walked onto the tenth floor and the nurse's station to ask for her husband's room in ICU. "He's in room 1045, Mrs. Gibbs, however, they are prepping him for heart surgery," she said cryptically with her comment.
"Thank you I will need to speak with the doctors in regard to why the surgery," she said with walking away to head for the room in time before her husband was being taken away
