Hey guys, MegaSalamence64 here, Welcome back to Dragon Wings of Fate Book One.
Well we have certainly came a good 61 chapters when this story started…. I have to admit, I have Idea block when it comes to this story and it shows with some portions of this Story…. (the Trap Arena portion which was one thing I was planning on avoiding as much as I could with World of Light Deluxe)
BUT! I do plan on rewriting this story soon….. But for the time being, Let's get onto this story and hopefully wrap it up to get to the Mushroom Kingdom for this Story's Ending (Well NOT the Finale of this Trilogy of stories but rather just the Ending of Book 1 AKA this Story)

Chapter 62: Munity on the Crew Part 8
Skies above K Rool's Temporary Base of operations, Above the Falcon:
"Alright we're over where Donkey Kong is….." Said Funky as he was currently flying his Plane the Funky Barrel as Cranky's patience was wearing thiner then Ice as moments passed. "We're ready to land soon Cranky…."
"Ok thank goodness!" Said Cranky as he stamp his cane a couple of times, Making it clear he's wanting to beat some sense into both his grandson and his former friend* "I Been waiting for this!"
"More so compared to the writer of this story wanting to write their crappy World of Light Story** right now!" He snarled even more as one would expect form a grumpy old man (Or grumpy old gorilla in this case). "Heck we'll be dust and bones when this stupid garbage get's rewrit-"
"Hey Cranky, Chill for the time being…." Said the Funkiest Kong in the DK Family with a concern look on his face as he did. "We may know about the Fourth wall with Banjo and Kazooie but I don't think the others know about it."
"Bah! Comedy in morden game is mostly those Memes and Fart Jokes!" He continued as he looked out of the window. "I seen that hideous internet sensations and their swearing Puppets….."
For the love of the Golden Bananas! Those Puppets make me want to slam my cane into their fre-"
"Hey there Cranky! Slow down on the swears!" Said Funky as he looked back in conern for the elder of his family. "You don't want to go down the lows of what you have mentioned about those internet puppets….."
"…..Even I don't like them that much either…." He continued as Cranky took note of his words but was mostly looking out of his window right now.
"Cranky, Dude? You ok?" Funky questioned in concern as he looked back at DK's Gramps whom was staring at something.
Soon afterwards, instead of an answer, Cranky simply opt to grab a Parchute and opened the door of the plane.
"Hey Cranky Dude, Are you planning to go first?" Questioned Funky as he looked back at Cranky whom was ready to leave for the plane.
"Well Sonny, I figure I know someone on a nearby ship that's familiar to me!" Said Cranky as he shot a glance at his pilot. "Cause I Know someone whom I can help give K Rool a Clobbering to!"
"Whom?" Questioned Funky as he looked back in puzzlement but it was too late,
Cranky already jumped off the plane before he can explain anything to Funky whom decided to land his plane before he goes after him.
'Well he's definitely off his rocket but I guess that's what makes us Kongs… well us!' He thought to himself before flying off to land on the island to follow him.
Meanwhile with Cranky he was falling down with his parchute activated, it's large cloth allowing him to slow his fall as he did.
"Well thank goddness Funky had a Parchute in his plane….." He said to himself as he floated down with some relief in his mind.
'Now time to find an old friend on this ship…..' He continued as he noticed the figure on the ship he was looking for, the old friend he was looking for.
"I Guess this visit isn't friendly Cranky….." said Captain Falcon as he saw the figure floating down whom just landed on the deck of the ship

K Rool's Temporary Base of operations, Blast-O-Matic 2.0, Engine Room:
"Ok Guys, we're here…. So where should we start smashing the Generator…." Said Donkey Kong as he looked back to Greninja, Shulk, Lucina, Dreepy and their newest tagalong Garchomp.
"Well I know we destroyed the Generator….. But it's the BACKUP One we didn't destroy yet….." Said Lucina as Shulk nodded back in agreement.
"Well we're fooled that we found a fake instead of the real deal….." Shulk continued as Greninja nodded back in agreement. "I thought we cut the real generator's power off….."
"But I guess we didn't know they have a backup incase of such an event….." He continued as Greninja gave a small pat on his back.
"Relax Shulk…. We just have to find it….." Said the Ninja Frog Pokémon with a firm look on his face.
"Thanks Greninja….." Said the Scientist as he then noticed something odd with Garchomp whom was acting less of a Land Shark and more like a search dog.
"Garchomp, What's wrong?" Lucina questioned in her Manakete voice as she looked back to the Land Shark Pokémon with concern. "Are you ok?"
"I Smell something my Misstress….." He snarled back to his 'Misstress' as he looked around the area. "Something similar to the scent of those Luminary Soldiers when they captured me…."
"What do you mean scent?" questioned the small dragon as she flew next to her fellow dragon with curiosity
"Something in the area?" Donkey Kong Questioned back to the Garchomp whom was growling at something…. Or even someone for that matter…
Just as Shulk received a vision of something firing a blaster at them, which it's particular target was Donkey Kong whom was shot right in his heart.
"Greninja I know it's unexpected but I need you to fire a water shuriken over there where Garchomp loo-"
The Land Shark Pokémon wasted no time firing a blast of Draconic Energy at where he was looking as the foe quickly leapt out of the way form the attack,
Before the foe could make their counterattack, Greninja quickly threw a water shuriken at them, Quickly launching him towards the ground.
"Tch…. I guess that the Venom already wore off on you… Garchomp….." Sneered a voice as the Group (Save Donkey Kong) suddenly felt a sense of familiarity at the voice speaking to them.
"Wolf… I guess Viper asked you to help you out with this…." Snarled Greninja as he looked back at the Mercenary wolf of Star Wolf. "Don't bother about asking us where Krystal is… She's not with us….."
"Well I could say the same and skip saying why the Luminary Empire needs bluey and blondy's fancy sword as well…." Sneered the Star wolf commander as he looked back to his foes with malicious intentions in his eyes as he glanced at both of them.
"Sorry but we're off Limits as we mentioned before in the past….." Snarled Lucina as she bared her Fangs towards her foe while he sneered back to the Manakete as well.
"Agreed." Said Shulk as he drew the Monado out once more. "I won't be handing this over if you guys likely ruined other people's lives as well…."
"Yeah I won't let anyone harm Lucina either!" Dreepy joined in as well as she glared back at her foe as well. "So back away you big meanie!"
Wolf simply however smirked at this choice of words despite not understanding the small ghost dragon's words…. He clearly understood her friends (AKA his newest boss's targets)
"Well I'm not really interested in this talk the empire said about bringing their ancestor's old glory or this hocus pocus crap with this Grima thing….." He snarked as Lucina sliently gasp at the words Wolf has mentioned.
'I don't know what to say…. I know the Empire is after Grima but why?' she thought to herself while Wolf readied his blaster once more. 'Grima's gone for good yet they acting like she was sealed away…..'
"Daydreaming right now lizard tail?" he sneered as he as he loaded his weapon for his foe. "I Guess you're curious about that Grima right?"
"Well too bad! It's time to Surrender!" He shouted as he pointed the blaster at her, the trigger already ready to fire at her. "Or we're force you to do so!"
But before the grey wolf could fire his weapon on her, Garchomp quickly fired an energy blast form his mouth to shut him up quickly.
"Expecting an apology? TOO BAD!" Snarled the Garchomp as he bared his fangs towards his foe. "I won't let you hurt my mistress and I won't let you or the Empire Harm her!"
"Sheesh…. You're really turning into a Simp right now….." Wolf sneered back to his foe while readying his blaster at one of his foe.
"But no matter….. When I shoot you down!" He continued as he took a pose similar to what Shulk as saw in his Vission.
'Oh no! Not good!' He thought to himself as he noticed the pose that Wolf was doing, No doubt his vision wasn't warning him about Wolf shooting form above… but rather when he was about to kill them at the wrong time.
"Oh know you don't!" Said Shulk as he rushed in with his Monado doubling as a temporary shield of sorts in front of Donkey Kong.
"Hey Shulk… What the?" The Kong questioned as Wolf sneered back at this odd choice of actions.
"Check….. Mate." The latter sneered as he pushed the trigger, A Win-Win situation on his mind as he did.
Wolf then fired his Blaster at the gorrila….. which the laser instead bounce off the Monado and into the celling.
"What the?" Said the Menecary as he looked back at Shulk's protection of Donkey Kong whom was still shocked by this.
"Hey Shulk… Thanks for the save?" He questioned as Greninja looked back in shock.
'The monado's Powers is to allow one to see into the future…' He continued to himself with some shock before glancing back to Wolf whom was glaring back to them now. 'I Guess it's more or less true but how it works is something we need the rest of the alliance to help with…..'
'Of course we need to shut this thing down before that could happen…..' He continued as he drew his water blades.
He then took out a distracted Wolf as he looked back to Lucina, Shulk, DK and Dreepy with a firm look on his face.
"You Four go ahead! I'll deal with Wolf with Garchomp!" He shouted much to their shock and surprise.
"Greninja why?" the latter questioned with surprise as the Ninja frog glared back at her for saying that.
"Simple, DK's Strength is enough to handle whatever's coming your why and Shulk, The Monado can damaged machinery!"
"Use it to your advantage!"
"OK! Let's go guys!" The Blond haired scientist said back to the group as they rushed off to stop the giant weapon of destruction.
"Tch…. Left the kiddos to fend for themselves huh…." Sneered Wolf whom glared back to his foes after the four other members have left to shut down the backup generator.
"Well at least you die free here Greninja!"
"Sorry Wolf… But it's you whom will be defeated!" The former Dharkon Member shouted as he drew his blades once more.
"En-Grade!"

*Mostly a nod to the DK Country TV Show where Cranky and K Rool were once friends in that show (It was also used in Kingdom Hearts the Nintendo Version Remixed with it being used for Drama in the DK Isle arc of that story)
**Relax guys, I don't hate WoL-DX! It's just a meta joke regarding my two big stories with WoL-DX getting Three updates and this getting Two….. Though I'm curious to know which one you prefer, This story (DWoF Book 1) and World of Light Deluxe (WoL-DX)

Author's note:
Short chapter again…. But the Next one will be longerish for you guys…..
Also the meta scene with Cranky and Funky…. It's something to play up the Rare era! DK Country games in a way.
Also a certain Take that to a certain Plushtuber whom may have kickstarted the reason for Youtube's Coppa stuff is also mentioned here...
Next chapter we'll be seening the Generator go boom! Stay toon for that!
