This is the first outtake of many that I'm working on! Enjoy! Oh, and I'm going to briefly read through the outtakes so, if there are any errors please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I can!

Swan's Bakery: The Grand Reopening

"We should add some tables," Esme said as she looked over the blueprints to the bakery.

"How many can we add?" I asked.

"Well," She looked around and measured the space with her eyes, "I think we can get eight tables in here. Each with four chairs. There's plenty of space."

I nodded, "That sounds look a good idea. I think it would be cool to have tables. That way people can sit and eat."

"You know Bella, we could also add in a long wall bar and place eight barstools right across that wall." She said.

"I really want to open in two weeks. Do we have enough time to install a bar?"

"Oh yes," Esme said, "If you think it's a good idea, we can have it installed tonight."

"I actually do like the idea," I said, "It would look really cool. And that is just a big empty space. It would be great to utilize it."

"I'll call our construction guys," She said, "They can have it done before we come back tomorrow."

"Perfect," I said, "Everything is almost done."

"We just have to hire some staff," Esme said as she typed something into her phone.

"I have a bunch of interviews tomorrow," I sighed heavily, "But, I already have a manager for when I'm not here."

"Is Riley excited?" She asked.

"He is," I smiled, "He's ready to help."

"I'm sure he wants to redeem himself." Esme muttered.

"Esme," I scolded, "He did it to keep his father safe."

Even though Edward and I had forgiven Riley, Esme was still angry. I've learned how protective she was over her family. And since the bakery burning down caused major issues and hurt me very badly. So, Esme had a bit of a grudge.

"The sign people just messaged me," Esme said with a very annoyed sighed, "They have to delay the sign."

"For how long?"

"Four days," Esme shook her head, "Ridiculous! I'm calling them."

"It's okay, you don't have too—,"

"I paid them extra to get the sign here by Friday so we can get everyone excited for the grand opening." Esme growled as she dialed the sign makers number.

I chuckled, "Go get 'em Esme."

As she walked into the back room, Edward walked through the front door with lunch.

"Oh thank god," I said.

He laughed, "I'm glad to see you too hon."

I chuckled and grabbed the bag of food, "I am starved."

He snuck a quick kiss before I dug into my food. I'd been working tirelessly on the bakery which added to my stress eating and being pregnant just made me even hungrier. I was going to gain a ridiculous amount of weight during this pregnancy.

"Where's mom?" Edward asked as he took out his own food.

"She's in the kitchen arguing with the sign people," I said, "There's a delay with the sign."

"Oh god help them," He laughed.

"I like having her though," I said, "She's helped me get so much done. I don't think I'd be able to do it without her."

"She lives for this stuff," He said, "Trust me, she won't miss a detail. The opening of the bakery is going to be amazing."

After a moment, Esme walked out.

"Okay, so I had to cancel those sign makers," She said, "I contacted another company. They'll have it done on time."

"Good job, mom," Edward said.

"Bella, I did call the furniture company. The have a bunch of sets they want us to look at," Esme said, without looking up from her phone, "Do you want to head there after lunch?"

"Yeah, that sounds good to me," I said.

Several Hours Later

"Oh, my, goodness," I said as I thumped down on the bed, "I am so glad the day is over."

Edward chuckled as he undid his watch, "I know things have been stressful. But the bakery is almost ready to be opened."

"Yeah, and your mom is very intense to work with," I said, "Don't get me wrong. I love your mom, but she can be very intense."

"I told you. When she invests into a business she takes it very seriously."

"I feel so tired. We've been running all day. I'm grateful to have her with me, but it is exhausting trying to keep up with her."

I felt Edward sit on the bed and grab my legs. He laid them over his lap and started rubbing my feet. I sighed happily and let him rub.

"That feels good," I smiled.

"It's what I'm here for." He chuckled.

After rubbing both of my feet, his hand started creeping further up my leg. I got up on my elbows and raised my brows at him. I knew the look in his eyes very well.

"Are you trying to start something?"

He smiled widely, "Maybe." His hand moved under my dress and he played with the edge of my panties. I felt myself become wet.

He threw one of my legs open and moved between them, pressing himself tightly against me. He hovered over me, smiling cheekily. I giggled and pulled his mouth against mine. He quickly asserted his dominance in the kiss, shoving his tongue into my mouth and exploring every part of my mouth.

He grabbed the end of my dress and pulled it over my head. I tried to pull him into another kiss, but he began kissing my neck, moving down my torso. He unclipped my bra and immediately started playing with my breasts.

He tugged my nipples and nibbled them gently until I was moaning for more. He dragged his tongue down my stomach and stopped when he reached my panties. He opened my legs wider and licked me through my panties.

He knew this drove me crazy, I couldn't stand having the layer between us. But he loved to tease me. After a few licks, I growled and demanded he take my underwear off.

He laughed, "So demanding."

"It's been a long day. And I'm not in the mood for teasing."

He laughed again and pulled my underwear down. He started licking me in the way that I loved. Soon I was moaning and begging for more. As soon as his thumb started stroking my clit, I started wiggling. That was my most sensitive spot and he loved exploiting it.

"Oh! Fuck!" I gasped, my hips thrusting upwards.

Edward made his way back up to my face and kissed me deeply. I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed my hands into his hair. He had taken his pants off at some point, I could feel his hard cock pressed against me.

I gasped when he pushed it inside of me. I bit my lip as he started thrusting. Apparently I was on the edge tonight because it only took a few thrusts to bring me to the edge again. As I was moaning and throwing my head back, he quickened his pace.

Within moments, we both finished. He fell against my chest, breathing heavily.

"Must've been a real rough day," He said as he rolled off of me.

I rolled into his side, "It's just been long. And tomorrow is going to be even longer. I'm hiring a whole new staff."

"Well, my mom will be there. She'll help."

"No, she's heading to this online business company thing," I said, "She's going to get them to create a website that, as she put it, has all the bells and whistles."

"You want me interview people with you?" He asked.

"No, I got it," I smiled, "I already have two people who are ready to work."

"I'm sure Maggie and Riley are both excited to start. And they'll be a big help. They can help everyone you hire."

"That's true," I said as I kissed his chin.

The Next Day

Edward had to leave early this morning for a meeting, so I walked to the bakery. It was great, it was only a five minute walk from the house. And I wasn't scared to walk by myself, since everything was safe now.

I stopped by a bagel shop on my way and picked up some breakfast. I never really explored Manhattan before, but now I've grown to love it. Sure, the people were a bit snooty, but the neighborhood itself was vibrant. I'd really have to take time and explore Manhattan more.

As I was typing in the passcode to my bakery, a woman dressed in a suit walked up to me, wearing a big smile.

"Hello," She said.

"Hi," I said, "Can I help you?"

"Oh, no, um, well, my name is Nikki and I'm meeting with the owner at ten today. I know I'm very early, but my mom always said that opportunities only happen to those who are early."

"Okay," I nodded, "Well, come on in. I'm the owner. I apologize for not being prepared I wasn't ready for you."

She laughed, "That's okay. You're not the craziest thing I've seen in New York so far."

"Did you just move here?" I asked as we sat down in the kitchen.

"I did. I moved here from Ohio. I'm going to NYU. I don't start until September, but I wanted to go ahead and come down here and get settled."

I nodded, "I moved here last September. New York can be crazy," I chuckled, "But don't worry. In a few weeks, you'll be a regular New Yorker. What are you going to school for?"

"Well, right now I'm just working on getting my fine arts degree. I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet."

"That's alright you'll figure it out." I said, "So, tell me a little bit about your work history."

She smiled widely, "So, I don't have much experience, but I did work in my dad's hardware store for four years. But I am a hard worker and a fast learner."

I nodded and looked over the little resume she had, "I mean this all looks great. So, let me tell you a little about the job you're applying for. I need someone to work the front. It's not too difficult. And sometimes I cater parties, so I'd need someone who wouldn't mind catering. I do pay extra for the catering events. I'm not too strict. I'm hoping to open in two weeks. The hours will be from five a.m. to eight p.m. But don't worry, I wouldn't need you until nine in the morning for cleaning."

She nodded, "That sounds great. I'm good to work anytime you need me."

"When you start school will that change?" I asked.

"I'll be taking mostly morning classes. So, hopefully around the afternoon I'll be done, and I'll be ready to work."

I nodded, "That sounds great. I have another girl who goes to school in the mornings. I'm planning on hiring a few people, so I'm pretty flexible with scheduling."

"So, does this mean I have the job?" She asked.

"Oh yeah," I nodded, "I mean, I'll be doing a background check and all that, but yeah you're hired. I like you. The background check is more my fiancé than me."

"I completely understand," She smiled widely.

"Go ahead and give me your email and I'll send you the schedule when we get ready to open."

"That sounds great! Thank you so much!" She said as she shook my hand excitedly, "I appreciate it so much!"

I chuckled, "Well great. I'm glad you'll be joining us. Oh, and let me get your shirt size if you don't mind. I like for everyone to have matching shirts."

"No problem," She said as she wrote down her email and her shirt size.

"It was great meeting you; I look forward to working with you." She said as I walked her out of the bakery.

"I look forward to that too."

She left and the men who were putting in the bar came in along with Esme.

"Great news Bella!" She said as she pulled me into the kitchen to move away from the construction work.

"What?"

"The people at the networking company made your website! And they're going to promote it! Here take a look," Esme said as she pulled her laptop out.

The website popped up quickly. It had everything I wanted. Esme knew me so well. I smiled as I looked at the drawn picture of a white Swan behind the bakery's name. I decided to keep Swan's bakery, both as a tribute to my parents and my old bakery.

"Wow it looks so good," I said as I looked through the website.

"Now, it hasn't gone live yet, it still needs a few more details. They think it's a great idea to post a little section about you. They said that in today's market a female run business is very sought out. And your story altogether is very interesting. People eat that stuff up."

"Okay, I can do that," I said.

"There's also a section here where you can showcase your desserts. I was thinking we hire a professional photographer to take the pictures. You bake a few things, and we give people a little peek at what you can do."

I nodded, "I can do that too. I've been dying to bake. I haven't done any in a while."

"Perfect, then that can be done very soon," Esme said as she clicked through the rest of the website, "On this page customers can make their orders online to be delivered or to pick up. And they can make appointments with you. It'll keep track of the appointment times, so you don't have to worry about it. It'll be automatically added to the business calendar, so you won't have to keep track of it."

"Wow this is really cool Esme," I smiled.

"It is so cool!" Esme said, "This place is going to be amazing. I'm so excited for it to open."

"Esme, I want to say thank you. I really appreciate your help. I don't think I could've done all this without your help."

"Don't even mention it," She smiled, "I love this. I haven't helped with a business in so long. So, thank you for letting me help."

"Hello?" Someone knocked on the kitchen door, "My name's Demetri I'm here for the interview."

"Yes of course," I said, "Come in. I'm sorry we were just looking at the new website."

He was a somewhat small man; he couldn't be any taller than 5'7 or 5'8. His frame was very small as well. I smiled and shook his hand.

"Hello, I'm Bella Swan. I'm the owner. And this is Esme an investor."

"Nice to meet you two," He nodded, shaking both of our hands.

"So, Demetri tell me a little about yourself," I said as we sat down at the counter. Esme had wandered off to the front room, leaving me to do the interview.

"Well, I graduated from the Culinary Tech Center a few weeks ago. I really loved the baking part, so I've been looking to get in with a bakery for a while. And I had a couple of desserts from the other shop you had on Bloor street. So when I saw you were opening up a new place, I thought I'd give it a shot."

I looked over his resume, "It all looks very good."

"Thank you, I know I don't have much experience in the kitchen, but I'm a really fast learner. And I graduated top of my class." He said.

I nodded, "Well, honestly this all looks great. I'm going to keep it and just do a background check. I do want to do another interview on Friday, but would you mind bringing in a few of your desserts? Just a few things to really showcase what you can do."

"I can do that," He nodded, "See you on Friday."

Just as he left, another person walked in for the baker's position. I ended up interviewing like twenty people today. The people who were working the front I hired on the spot, but the ones working in the kitchen, I'd need them to actually bake for me.

I was funny about the bakers I was bringing in. I needed people who were good bakers and could design well in my absence. Once I had the baby, I planned on taking like three months off, then working at the bakery three days a week. So, I needed people here I could trust would do well.

My last interview was with a woman named Sasha. She walked in, head slightly hunkered down, and dressed in a beige suit. She seemed as if she was frightened.

"Hello," I smiled, "It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too," She said; something was slightly off about her voice. It took me a moment to figure out that she was deaf.

"Is there anything I can do to make this interview easier on you?" I asked her, "I could hire an interpreter? Whatever you need."

"I'm fine, I can read your lips," She smiled, "But thank you for offering."

I nodded, "So, tell me a little bit about yourself."

"Well, as you can see I'm deaf," She said, "But, I've been baking for four years. I was working as a baker at Hayden's, but I've been wanting to work at an actual bakery for years now. I don't have any formal training, but I'm hoping my experience will be enough."

I nodded, "I won't lie to you, I don't have any experience either. So, formal training is something I'm not really something I'm crazy about."

She chuckled, "That's one of the reasons why I wanted to interview. One because it's a female owned company and I'm tired of working with a bunch of men. And two, because of you. I followed the Facebook page from your last bakery. And I thought it was so cool that you didn't have any formal training, but you ran a very successful bakery. I had a few of your desserts they were delicious."

"Thank you, I appreciate that," I said, "Well, honestly I like everything I see. But if you wouldn't mind coming Friday with a few of your desserts, I'd love to try them. I want to hire people who are good bakers and can maybe teach me a little something too."

"I can do that." She said.

"Great," I shook her hand, "It was great meeting with you. I'll see you Friday."

Friday

The bakery was really starting to come together. The bar was done, we had moved furniture in, and it just looked great. Even better than my old bakery. I couldn't wait to get open the business.

Today I was doing the final interviews for the bakers. I had nine people coming in today to show me their baked goods. I was excited to see what everyone could do. I had met some really great people who really seemed like they could bake.

Edward was here today. He had taken the day off from work, which I didn't think was a bad idea. He'd been running like a madman lately, trying to balance the family's businesses, his own businesses, and Aro's businesses. I felt bad for how much he was running.

"I am so glad to have the day off," Edward said.

I smiled at him, "Today's going to be fun. We're going to eat try some desserts, then get a nice romantic dinner."

He smiled and kissed me gently on the lips, "I'm excited. Thanks for letting me join you."

"Of course," I said, "You've been working so hard lately. You deserve a break."

"Why thank you," He said.

The first candidate walked in with three boxes of desserts. Edward and I shared them, took notes, then sent them on their way. That's how it went for several interviews. Demetri walked in holding Tupperware.

"Hey Demetri," I smiled, "Edward this is Demetri."

"Nice to meet you," Edward said as they shook hands.

"I baked four things today. The first is an Ambrosia pudding. I perfected it when I was in Culinary school," He said, "The second is an Éclair, a lemon meringue pie, and a plain vanilla cake but I wanted to showcase my decorating skills with that one."

Edward and I tried everything. He was a very good baker. A great baker actually. I was pleasantly surprised.

"This is really good Demetri," I said as I looked at the vanilla cake, "Damn good actually. You're a great baker and a great decorated. I would not worry if I left you in charge of my bakery."

He smiled widely, "Thank you, I appreciate that."

"I think I've seen and tasted everything I need too," I said, "I'm opening the bakery next Monday. Do you think you could start then?"

He gasped, his eyes widening, "Are you serious?"

"I am," I chuckled, "I like you, and you're a great baker. And a wonderful decorator. I'm almost sad to eat this."

"Thank you so much," He said, shaking my hand, "You won't regret it!"

I laughed, "I'm sure I won't. Thank you for so much for coming in today. I'll email you with any further questions."

He nodded eagerly and collected his things. I had a very good feeling about him.

Next to come in was Sasha. She was still just as timid as the last time I had met her. She brought in plenty of desserts for Edward and me to taste. Everything was delicious. I hired her on the spot as I did with Demetri.

I had only wanted to hire two bakers. I also had Riley, who would help bake as well as run the front. Since he worked at my old bakery, he knew how I like things. I could trust him.

After hiring the bakers, Edward and I went to lunch. It was crazy that after all of those desserts, we were still hungry. It was nice to just have a relaxing lunch and not half to worry about anything.

After finishing lunch, Edward took me to a van lot. I was confused as I looked around at the vans.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I think we should get a delivery van," Edward said, "We can paint it and put your logo on it."

"That's a great idea!" I smiled, "And we have the parking lot in the back, so I can store it. Edward that's such a good idea!"

He smiled widely, "I'm so glad you think it's a good idea! I was worried."

"No, it's a great idea. This way I don't have to rent a van to make deliveries."

I hopped out of the car and we started looking at the different vans. A sale's person walked up to us and helped us select the perfect van for my business.

We ended up getting a large, refrigerated van. It had plenty of storing places and it even had stabling straps to hold things in place. Edward signed all the paperwork while I talked with a detailer.

I decided to go with a light blue for the van. It was the main color of my bakery. The detailer could also put the white Swan logo on the side. He showed me a picture on his computer of what it would look like once it was finished. It was going to take a month to do, but when Edward offered him a ridiculous amount of money for it, suddenly it wouldn't take but four days and they were even going to deliver it to the bakery.

Even when the day was over, I still sat in bed and created a menu. Edward was beside me, playing on his phone.

"You should add gingerbread cookies on the menu," He suggested.

I laughed, "That's going to be a seasonal thing. Gingerbread cookies really aren't too popular in the summer. But don't worry, I'll bring it back in the winter."

He chuckled, "What are you doing for the monthly special?"

"Since we're going into March now, I'm thinking we do something for the spring. Maybe a lemon cheesecake tart, or perhaps key lime cupcakes. I don't know. I have so many ideas."

"You're so creative," He said.

"Only when it comes to desserts." I said.

"Hey, so I heard back from the preschool near the bakery."

"Bright Horizons? What did they say?" I asked.

"The program director wants to meet with us. He says that by the time our baby is ready to start the daycare program he'll have a spot open for us."

I nodded, "Set up a time, preferably before the bakery opens up. I won't have much time then."

"Sure thing," He said.

"Do you think it's a little early to be meeting with the program director now? I mean, the baby won't be ready for their daycare until two years from now."

"It's best to get our spot secure early. I want to make sure we're not scrambling for daycare. And I want our baby to go to the best. One with top-notch security, well educated teachers, and close. Bright horizons has all of that." He said.

"I'm fine with that. You know more about this then I do." I said, "But we do need to get cracking on nannies. I want someone I can trust watching my baby when I'm at the bakery."

"Of course," he said, "I have a few people who we need to interview. They have some great backgrounds. But I want to do deep background checks on them."

"I agree. I don't want just anyone watching the baby," I said, "What do you think a strawberry bliss for the special?"

Monday Morning

Edward drove me to the bakery this morning. I couldn't help but be both nervous and giddy at the same time. I was opening the bakery today; well I guess reopening it. I had already had a staff meeting with everyone about what I expected and what I hoped for the bakery. I felt confident this time around.

"Good luck, princess," Edward said as he walked me into the bakery, "Even though I know you're not going to need it."

I smiled and gave him a kiss, "Thank you. I couldn't have done this without you."

"No, this was all you. Not me, not my mother, just you. You're the only one who ran a successful bakery. And this one is going to be another great success. You've got this."

I chuckled, "I don't know about successful, but I'm certainly going to try my best."

"It's going to be a success. There's no doubt in my mind about that."

I gave him another kiss before he headed out the door. It was five in the morning; Edward was planning on going back to sleep before going to his meeting this morning.

Riley and Demetri were already here. Sasha didn't want to work the morning shifts and I was fine with that. I didn't want to force people to work shifts they weren't comfortable with. I didn't want to be an insane owner who drove her staff crazy.

"Hello hello!" I smiled as I walked into the kitchen, "Riley, it's so good to see you," I said giving him a hug.

"Nice to see you too Bella," He said.

Demetri, Riley, and I prepped everything. I guess I really overshot how much time it would take, because we were done prepping things by eight. The bakery didn't open until ten thirty. We could probably get here by seven tomorrow.

I felt more nervous butterflies when I walked to the front of the bakery. I took a deep breath as I unlocked the door and opened for the day.
