Bonnie smiled watching his face. He was resting with his eyes closed but very much awake for they just got finished a conversation with him in that exact position. It was the end of the first month in their new home and she felt married to him already. Still no proposal but she's hopeful that it's coming soon.

They picked a two-story home that held a dining room, kitchen, living room, and half bathroom on the first floor and two bedrooms, the master bedroom, and bath, loft, and single bathroom on the second level. Crown molding, nice backyard and patio, and most importantly no HOA. The gossip sites got ahold of this information but didn't disclose actual living details.

Bonnie found that since some photos of her on the set of her Chanel photoshoot were posted, she's been getting a little more attention and not strictly labeled as Stefan Salvatore's girlfriend though she doesn't mind too much. She claims the title but she does have a name.

"Oh and I was thinking that we have a housewarming party,"

"I don't know, babe, all those people,"

"Please?"

He sighed. "Fine." He soon felt her lips on his and kissed her back, holding her close. "Mmf," he groaned as his hands moved up her shirt. "Five minutes," he removed the shirt from her skin.

Bonnie smiled sliding into a booth across from her friends. They smiled back.

"So how's living with Stefan?"

"It's a little strange because I guess I'm still adjusting to living with someone again since I'm used to living on my own, but at the same time I love it. We've had a little more fights but that's to be expected."

"So nothing about popping the question?"

She sighed. "No, and it's kind of why I didn't want to move in together in the first place because I don't want him to just be like "what's the point, we're already living together" or whatever."

"If you want me to, I'll talk to him," Caroline offered. "I won't be blunt about it either, I'll just casually bring it up."

"I'll think about it. Oh, and we're having a housewarming party tonight."

"What a perfect time to bring it up,"

Bonnie let out a breath but didn't stop her.

"Just as long as you know Stefan loves you, Bonnie, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about."

"Yeah, you're right." She looked down hearing her phone ding seeing that it was another Stefan alert. She was just going to ignore it, but the preview said something about him and Sophie Durham having an affair.

She clicked on it skimming through the paragraph and down a recent photo that Sophie posted of the two captioning it with a heart emoji with the word "him" beside it. "She has some nerve."

"Who?" Her friends wonder then Bonnie turned the phone over to them.

They scoffed and rolled their eyes. "Though that's a bitch move, I wouldn't stress over it. It's barely a rumor and she's just doing it to get attention and Stefan would never do anything like that."

"I know I just- I wish I'd knew how things would be before we started dating."

"Meaning?"

"Meaning the paparazzi, everyone in our business, bitches trying to steal my man." She rolled her eyes. "I mean it's kind of ridiculous."

"So what are you saying?"

"Nothing, I guess. I guess I just miss being normal. Or at least when it comes to my relationships." She sighed. "But I do really love Stefan so I'll suck it up. Put on my big girl panties and just ignore the hate."

"I think that's a great idea."

She looked down hearing her phone ring seeing it was from Stefan she answered it. "Hey,"

"I just got notified by my manager about Sophie–"

"Yeah, I saw."

"I love you. I can say something if you want me to,"

"No, just let it be. We know the truth and the people we care about know the truth so nothing else matters."

"Okay, babe. I'll see you tonight for the party. I invited a few people, I hope that's okay,"

"Yeah it's perfect, the more the merrier."

"Alright. I love you."

"I love you too."

He sighed. "I'm sorry about all this, I can hear that you're upset."

"Well yeah, all of this is just so stupid. I just don't get why someone would intentionally try to sabotage a relationship. I mean maybe it wasn't her intention, maybe you both are closer than I think which is fine but be careful, you know."

"Yeah." He sighed.

"Anyway, Whatever. I'll let you go, I know you're busy."

"We'll talk in a few hours, I promise. I love you so much."

"Bye,"

"Bon—"

She hung up then ran her hands over her face. "I don't want to be mad at him. I just- I should go home."

Her friends nodded and she paid for the meal before leaving.

Stefan came home with flowers in tow and headed upstairs to their room. He hated the way their conversation ended and he wanted to make sure that everything is right between them. He knocked before entering though the door was already open. She looked over at him and smiled slightly, hugging him tight as he did her.

"I love you so much too."

He exhaled holding her closer then pulled away to meet their lips. "I will never do anything to hurt you." He held her face.

"I know. It just sucks sometimes,"

"Don't worry, once our party starts, this will all be out of our heads."

She nodded and he hugged her again, kissing her head.

Bonnie got dressed in the bathroom then sat on the space between their sinks to apply her makeup. Just as she was finishing, Stefan walked in and held her from behind kissing the side of her neck. He lifted her from the counter causing her to smile as he held her bridal style then sat her on the bed.

"Honestly this has nothing to do with what happened today, I bought this the day we moved in together."

Her heart beater quickly. "What is it?"

He smiled and reached in his back pocket. By the shape of the box, she knew it wasn't her engagement ring but at the same time, she was glad because she doesn't want to remember the day she got engaged this way. She gasped as he opened the box coming faced with a diamond bracelet. He chuckled at her speechlessness.

"I… this…"

He smiled. "I'm glad you feel that way," he teased then wrapped the bracelet around her wrist. She looked at it before back up at him then kissed him once.

"Thank you,"

"You're welcome." He kissed her and pulled away hearing the doorbell. "Let's party."

She smiled.

Bonnie was surprised seeing Damon here. She personally didn't invite him and by how cool Stefan was acting she figured that he was the one who invited him. They stole looks since he arrived an hour ago and she could tell that something was bothering him but scratched it up to it probably being hard to see her and Stefan being together. She found a moment to slip away from Stefan's hold as he was in a conversation with Kirk to speak to him.

"Hey,"

"Hey,"

"Thank you for coming,"

"Thanks for the invite."

She chuckled slightly scratching the back of her arm. "Yeah, about that…"

"Don't sweat it. I was surprised when Stefan called but I'm not so sure about his intentions." She chuckled nodding. "I saw the so-called news. How are you feeling?"

"I was pissed at first but honestly now I'm over it."

"Good. You don't need to be bothered by that shit." She nodded. "Anyway, nice place you got."

She looked around. "Thanks, it was pretty easy picking this one out." He nodded. "I feel like something's off between us," she admitted.

"I don't know what you're talking about,"

"Well for one you didn't make a move on me yet or at least try to. And two, you're only speaking one sentence to me."

"It's nothing,"

"Damon-"

"Damon,"

Bonnie blinked as a brunette joined his side. She took a step back.

"This is my girlfriend. Genevieve,"

"Oh. Uh, it's nice to meet you."

"You too. You have a great home,"

"Thank you. I'm glad you can come."

"Bonnie," she heard Caroline call.

"I should go but uh enjoy yourselves." She backed away before turning completely smacking her forehead with her hand. "Thanks for saving me if that's what you were doing and if not, thanks anyway."

"It was sort of half and half. So do you still have feelings for Damon?"

"I don't think so it's just he's an ex and seeing him with a beautiful woman is a little awkward. Not to mention at the time I was getting on him about not flirting with me."

"Ok, what?"

"I felt like something was off between us because he usually flirts with me when we talk or try to at least and he wasn't doing it this time and I thought that something had happened but little did I know it's because he brought his girlfriend."

"Yeah, that's awkward,"

She exhaled. "So what the second half if you calling me over?"

"Oh, I talked to you know who about you know what, and he said that he's not thinking about it so much at this moment because big steps have already been taken and there's nothing broken between you two so he's not going to fix it."

She rolled her eyes. "Of course,"

"I'm sorry, Bon."

"It's fine. Maybe it's for the best."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that I've been thinking a lot and maybe now's not such a great time. I don't want all the drama, I just want it to be us two like old times."

"Yeah,"

Bonnie exhaled then felt a pull on her arm just as Elena stepped up to them. She looked back seeing that it was her boyfriend so she actually started walking behind him instead of protesting by making small steps. Caroline caught up to them and talked to Stefan for a quick few seconds probably telling him that he couldn't just interrupt their conversation. He continues on anyway and walks up to the coffee table and steps onto it and with narrowed eyes accepted his help up there as well. The music lowers.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" She looked over at him. "I just want to thank you all for coming to Bonnie and I's housewarming party." He turned to her. "I've loved her ever since the day I met her and nothing ever seemed so right in my life." She smiled and frowned as people awed. "I'm in love with you."

She smiled and her eyes widened as people squealed seeing him get down on one knee. She covered her mouth with her hands bouncing some on her toes.

"Bonnie you have transformed my life for the better. You make me think more, question more, feel alive. My heart will always continue to beat for you and only you. We've always joked about getting married, but I don't want to joke any more. Bonnie Bennett, will you marry me?"

"Yes."

People cheered as he slid the ring down her finger then stood up meeting their lips. She kissed him and held him close lifting her feet off the table. She moved her head away to meet their lips again. The music started again and people celebrated by dancing and walking up to the expressing their congratulations. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. Her arms around his neck and his hands in her lower back and ass. They kissed at every chance they could and when people would come up to them, their foreheads would be together saying their thanks looking into each other's eyes.

The party ended an hour and a half later and they laid on the bed as Bonnie watched her ring admiring it. "This is exactly what I wanted not knowing it was exactly what I wanted."

He chuckled. "I'm glad you like it."

She placed her hand on her chest then turned to him. "When did you buy it?"

"Two weeks before we moved in," she smiled. "I know that you wanted things to be normal and just us,"

"You were listening to that?"

"I was. But our lives aren't normal, babe. I'm a vampire in the public eye and you're my financeé in the public eye and yes, we will have days in which things would feel normal, but this is our life. And I want to live out the rest of our days with you."

"I want to live out the rest of our days with you too."

He smiled grabbing her face then kissed her. "If you want to, we can wait to announce our engagement."

"I highly doubt waiting is an option, I saw several phones recording the whole thing."

"We can still keep it private."

"I'll think about it,"

He chuckled getting on top of her. "I think it's time we try for a baby."

She smiled. "I think so too,"

"After I drink your love. Please."

She nodded and held him close.

They woke up with thousands of alerts and Bonnie figured that it was no need to keep anything private now so she posted a video of her ring sparkling in the morning sun. Stefan wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed the side of her neck. She posted it then turned in his arms to kiss him gently. "You should expect a call from my father soon."

"I have it handled. I called him last week." He chuckled at the surprise on her face. "I'm very responsible."

"I didn't even tell him we were dating."

"I honestly think he thought we were dating the whole time, he wasn't surprised at all."

They laughed some together. "My finacé is so thoughtful."

He kissed her twice. "Can you believe we're getting married?"

"Honestly not really. It's shocking for some reason."

"We always used to somewhat joke about it, that's why." She nodded. "But are you truly happy with me?"

"I am one hundred percent happy with you." She kissed him as he held her tight.

They were already wanted and needed on different covers of different magazines giving them an engagement spread. LeAnn handled all of the scheduling and they just went where they were told. Bonnie got an invite from Bridal Magazine and jumped on it immediately hoping that they would give her a dress so she wouldn't have to worry about it.

Stefan chuckled at her practically asleep in the makeup chair. He reached his hand out to top hers. "Coffee." He chuckled when she rolled her eyes.

"I don't like regular coffee."

"You will when it wakes you up." He reaches for his cup, "Have mine."

She watched it then took it from his hands hesitating before putting it up to her lips.

"He does it taste?"

"Horrible."

He laughed some and watched as she took another sip.

Once they were all made up, it was time for their session. Music played and they found themselves not having to try at all because it was all natural. Stefan got on one knee and held her hands having Bonnie smile down at him.

Once the photos were done, they sat down for an interview. Stefan talked about searching for a ring and picking the best moment to propose. They talked about their friendship beforehand and how they met.

"I swear it feels like we've known each other longer, but we met in college. Bonnie was studying business and I was just...studying, I was there just to be there. Just until my modeling career took off a little more."

"Yeah um, we met through a mutual friend and it was friendship at first sight," Bonnie jumped in, "honestly. I mean I think that anyone who is friends with the opposite sex and you're attracted to the opposite sex, there would be moments of flirtation and it's innocent, you don't think anything of it. We knew our boundaries and we would always go to each other for relationship advice and he was even there with me during a pregnancy scare."

"Wow, I forgot about that,"

"Speaking of babies, are there any in the future between you two?"

They looked at each other smiling. "I can't make any promises but it sure is fun to try."

Bonnie laughed.

After a long day, Bonnie decided that the best way to unwind was to take a bubble bath. She exhaled through her nose sinking into the water as she closed her eyes. She peeked her right eye open feeling pressure and her mouth dropped in a gasp seeing Stefan climb in still clothed.

"What are you doing?"

"I couldn't wait," He kissed her twice.

"I love you, but get out."

He chuckled standing to his full height and stepped out of the tub.

"Get undressed before you go in the room and ruin the carpet."

"Yes, ma'am."

"And just leave your clothes in the sink and I'll take care of it."

He smiled with his back to her, stepping out of his pants. "Okay, wife,"

Bonnie chuckled then got herself relaxed again. Stefan joined again sitting opposite of her but shortly moved to her side. Bonnie rested her head on his chest and hugged him from the side.

Bonnie stood in front of the stove boiling rice and cooking meat for a quick meal of sloppy joes. She let out a moan and stretched her arms to hold onto the edges of the countertop. "Stef," She clenched her butt together then moaned a little louder as his tongue hits the right spots. She shortly came looking up at the ceiling then felt a pinch as his fangs sank into her thigh, moaning. Stefan moved from under her dress and stood from the floor and smiled when she turned to face him moving her arms around his neck then soon met their lips. She reached behind her cutting off the burners as he lifted her away.

"I want blood," she bit his ear.

"Oh fuck," his knees felt weak, and fell with her on the bed. He bit into his wrist but was confused when she took his hand and held it to his neck.

He watched her eyes get a little sinister then it all made sense as she headed for his neck and bit him where she placed his blood and sucked. He closed his eyes enjoying the feel. "Don't give me any ideas, Bonnie Bennett," he stood removing his pants and shirt.

She pulled the dress up her body getting equally naked. "Call me Mrs. Salvatore."

"Mrs. Salvatore, my sexy, sexy wife," he met their lips pushing inside her. She held him close and met their lips, kissing him roughly.

...

Bonnie woke up to her alarm stretching some before shutting it off. She stood to go get ready but felt a pull on her arm and smiled sitting back down and her lips were soon covered by her fiancé. "Baby,"

"I know," he kissed her once more before letting her go.

He sat up and checked his phone, reading over emails. He sat up reading over one in particular then sighed looking at the bathroom door where his future wife was. Deciding to get it over with now, he knocked on the door before entering. She was in the shower which he found to be good because he doesn't have to face her eyes.

"Stef?"

"Yeah, it's me. Hey, babe, I uh- I just got an email from a photographer wanting me to do another project with Sophie."

"...Why?"

"He says we just work well together,"

"What's the shoot for?"

"Some fashion magazine."

She sighs. "I guess so, Stefan."

"Just tell me not to and I won't."

"Do what you want to do,"

"If I do take it, it'll only be for the money. You're expensive and we have a wedding to plan." He says hoping that he made her smile and smiled himself hearing her chuckle.

"I'm the expensive one, okay, sure."

"I'm no liar."

"Uh-huh. Whatever makes you sleep at night, babe."

He smiled walking out of the bathroom and decided to think about it a little more so he doesn't respond for now. He looked back up at the bathroom door and decided to open his ears to see if Bonnie was mumbling about the shoot so he could know how she really felt.

"I just hope that bitch doesn't try anything or else I won't be nice like the last time."

He heard the shower shut off and exhaled closing his eyes. She doesn't seem too oposed about it, but he doesn't blame her at all for that.
