I have not talked with either of the idiots at all. It really did hurt being called cyborg by Sam. I am very self conscious about the prosthetic wrist still. I just want to not be seen as just some charity case.
Being called cyborg brings back the darkness a little. I was not in the right mind that night. She of all people should remember that. But no, she used it against me.
"Hey sugar" I roll my eyes and ignore Samantha "Come on! You can not really still be mad right? Buddy?"
"I do not know you" I close my locker and turn to start walking away "My family says not to talk to strangers"
"I am sorry ok?!" Sam walks in front of me "Just listen please?"
"Gonna blame it on your period?" I walk around her and she grabs my wrist "I am not above yelling rape"
"Just...please sing with her" I turn and give Sam a confused look "Grace asked you right? She was supposed to ask this morning before I got here"
"I have not seen her at all" I see Marley running toward us quickly "Marley what is going on? Where is the fire?"
Marley stops looking wide eyed "Grace is hyperventilating" She points toward the choir room "She is that way!"
"Come on!" I take off with Sam "Move out of the way!"
We take off down the hall for the room. Grace has never really had too many breathing issues...wait a minute here! Why did Marley come for us? Why not go get the nurse?
"You thinking too?" We stop at the door "What is going on Marley"
"It is way worse than Grace" Marley sighs "Your moms wanted you in here and it pertains to my future too"
"You gonna be ok?" Marley nods but I can see she will not really be "Let's go in"
We walk in and I see everyone in there. Some club members are crying. What is going on right now? Marleys mom is even in here. They have luggage near their feet.
"Hey girls" Shelby motions us over "We got some news to share"
"They seem to know" Sam walks over to grace "You ok?"

"What is this?" I look out the back window and see our vehicles loaded up "Moms?"
"Cass was fired from here because of 'inappropriate' actions" Judy sighs "The dance studio has been put under investigation and Madison was removed from head"
"So we are giving up?" I feel my anger growing "WE NEVER GIVE UP!"
"We were fired" Shelby sighs "Juilliard hired me because of Madison and same goes to the other schools"
"Our director wanted his daughter to have free admission into Juilliard" Rachel sighs "He fired us when we said we could not do that"
"So this is really it?" I look around the room "We are leaving?"
Emma is soon pulling me into her "We are so sorry" I feel my tears start to spill "It is ok to cry"
"We got our positions back in Lima" Carole walks in holding keys "Cars are already to go"
"Can" Our club mate John stands up "Can we sing? One last song as a group?"
"That sounds great John" Cass smiles "What song?"
"Closing time" John looks at me "You never got your solo..you know it?"
"Yeah" I pull away some from Emma "Let's do it"
The band slowly picks up their instruments. The music slowly plays as more tears come. I can not believe this really is goodbye. New York was supposed to be ours.

We all join in a huge group hug of tears. This was not how this was supposed to go. We were supposed to destroy New York. We were supposed to take it by storm.
"I am so glad I caught you all!" We look at a man in a suit come in "I need to talk to Madison!"
"Uh hang on" Madison wheels to the hall with him "This better be good"
A few tense minutes pass by. What is going on right now? Madison seemed to know who it was. Soon she is wheeling back in and the door closes.
"So I have received some bad but good news" We all are waiting for her to talk "Dalton Academy was burned down and they can not rebuild"
"Oh no" Carole starts pulling out her phone "I hope the boys are ok"

We all cheer and hug again. This is amazing! That was too much emotions for one day. Now we just have to move everything back home.
But for now I am going to enjoy being around family for sure.
