Dragon Ball Z: Alternate Love

Chapter 63: Meet Broly

Several years ago, around the time, when Frieza and his father were killed.

We see a barren wasteland of a planet, many lightyears away from where Goku and his friends and family lived.

We see an older Saiyan man named Paragus working at some sort of rusty old antenna, trying to get a distress signal of some kind through.

Paragus, "c'mon, c'mon! I've almost got a signal through! Ugh, where is Broly when I need him? He spends every day mourning that filthy beast! Ngh, if he doesn't get back soon, I'll give him a piece of my mind! I have an entire army ready for me to control! The army of the Frieza Empire! But I can't call them here because this damned thing is faulty after so long!"

….

Meanwhile.

We see Broly kneeling in front of a large mount of dirt that was a very large size.

Broly, "hey Ba. It's me again. I hope you're doing alright, wherever you've gone. I'm…. I'm sorry for what dad did to you. He made you hate me. And then he killed you. You…. You were my only friend here. Even if I one day get off of this planet and meet new people…. They'll never take your place. I love you Ba…. I'll talk to you later."

Broly clutched the pelt around his waist as he stood up. But that's when he heard a noise in the air.

Broly looked up to see a ship heading to where Paragus was.

Broly began running as fast as he could back to where they were.

….

Broly arrived at home to see Paragus talking with two people.

The first was a man with orange skin named Leemo.

The end was a woman named Cheelai.

The others were various crew hands.

Paragus turned to Broly and said, "ah! Son, come here! I've finally contacted people to get us off of this planet."

Broly stayed silent as he walked forward.

Paragus, "I thank you so much for stopping here. With your ship, I can finally call my forces to my aid!"

Leemo, "it's not trouble. So, how long have you two been here?"

Paragus, "oh, a terribly long time. We've been here ever since the destruction of Planet Vegeta!"

Leemo, "we'll, if you say you've got your own army on another planet, we'll get you to them. As long as our crew gets paid."

Paragus, "oh, but of course!"

Paragus had already packed up his and Broly's few belongings and followed Leemo and the others onto the ship.

Cheelai looked at Broly and said, "come on big guy. You're finally getting off this rock."

Cheelai made her way into the ship as Broly took one last look towards Ba's grave and said, "goodbye old friend."

Broly made his way onto the ship, and within a few minutes, Leemo was piloting them off.

Paragus went to spend the whole trip in his room.

Broly started looking around, and found himself standing in the kitchen area, where Cheelai had just pulled out what looked like a few chocolate bars.

Cheelai sat down and saw Broly standing there.

Cheelai, "heyo? You wanna sit down, or something?"

Broly nodded before sitting next to her at the table.

Cheelai, "so…. You got a name?"

Broly, "... I'm Broly."

Cheelai looked at one of the bars and asked, "you want some? It's pretty good."

Broly grabbed one, and after a quick sniff of it, started scarfing it down.

Cheelai couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.

Cheelai, "calm down man. The food ain't going anywhere."

Broly, "sorry. It's been awhile since I've had something this delicious."

Cheelai, "heh, I can tell. So, if you don't mind me asking this, what's with that pelt around your waist?"

Cheelai began reaching for the pelt as she said, "maybe yo-"

Broly quickly grabbed his pelt and said, "DON'T TOUCH IT!"

Cheelai, "ah! Jeez, okay, fine. That pelt means something to you, right?"

Broly nodded and said, "it's the last thing I have from Ba."

Cheelai, "Ba?"

Broly, "... On that planet, I only had one friend there. Ba. A giant green feline creature. Vicious to most, but he treated me like a friend. Years ago, my father didn't like my relationship with Ba. So he blasted his ear off. After that, Ba wouldn't do anything with me again. He died a few years ago. And this pelt is all I have left of him."

Cheelai, "oh…. Broly, I'm so sorry. I had no idea! I'm sorry I tried to touch it."

Broly, "it's alright. You had no way of knowing."

The two sat in a comfortable silence.

Just then, one of the other crew members entered the kitchen. He looked drunk.

He had purple skin and green armor.

Cheelai, "ugh, hey Chad. You drunk again?"

Chad, "yeh, and what's it to ya? Huh? Who's the new guy?"

Cheelai, "his dad hired us to fly him to a planet where he's been amassing an army."

Chad, "heh, he doesn't look so tough!"

Cheelai, "please, don't start anything."

Chad, "oh? And why not? You never wanna try anything!"

Cheelai, "ugh, not this shit again. I keep telling you, I don't wanna sleep with you."

Chad, "oh yeah? And why is that? You a lesbo, huh?"

Broly started to glare at Chad.

Cheelai, "oh, that would be one Hell of a good excuse, but nope."

Chad, "whatever bitch. You'll come around."

Cheelai, "yeah, when pigs fly."

Chad suddenly threw his hand up, about to slap her! But before he could, Broly grabbed his hand! Hard!

Chad, "hey! Let go!"

Broly, "apologize."

Broly glowed green for a moment.

Chad, "oh, come on, she ain't worth it!"

Broly, "apologize."

Broly's grip began to tighten as his pupils began to dilate.

Things began to flash through his mind!

….

Come on Broly! Keep climbing, or you won't get any lunch!

….

Stay on that cliff while I throw the attacks! You must stand your ground!

….

That filthy creature doesn't need your affection!

….

Stop crying over it. It's a filthy beast!

….

Get angrier!

….

Become stronger! Faster! Block out every emotion! Except for rage!

….

Fight!

….

Broly only grew more and more angry.

Chad, "let me go, meat for brains!"

Broly, "apologize."

Broly looked like he was about to snap his hand right off!

But before he could, Cheelai grabbed Broly's arm.

Cheelai, "Broly, it's fine. He's just an asshole. Let him go."

Broly seemed to calm down as he let go of Chad, who scrambled away saying, "freak."

Cheelai put her hand on Broly's shoulder and asked, "are you alright?"

Broly, "... I'm sorry. I lose control like that. My father's training…. A lot of bad memories."

Cheelai, "... do you wanna talk about it?"

Broly nodded, "that would be…. Nice."

This would begin a great friendship between the two, which would only grow stronger over time….

….

A week later.

We see the planet Paragus had hired Leemo and his crew to travel to.

Paragus was currently watching as his forces trained. The last remnants of the Frieza Empire's army.

Meanwhile, Leemo was sitting with Cheelai and Broly in a living room. Paragus had had accommodations built for the crew. Broly had decided to live with Leemo and Cheelai in their house.

Leemo, "damn. I'm sorry you went through all of that."

Broly nodded, "it's alright. I believe there's a phrase that says; what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Cheelai, "fitting, since you look like you could crush a mountain in two!"

Broly, "that was actually one of my father's tests."

Leemo, "damn."

The three continued to tell stories to one another, we'll into the night….

….

One year later.

We see Broly standing upon a rather large cliff, throwing bolt after bolt of energy into the distance.

As Broly kept launching them around, his vision began to blur, his anger pushing through as images of his father's training flashed through his mind once again.

Broly grew angrier and angrier. He began to glow green as fur spirited over his body and his eyes turned vacant.

"Hey big guy."

Broly turned to see Cheelai standing there, slowly out stretching her hand towards him.

Cheelai, "sun's getting real low, huh?"

Broly growled like a beast as Cheelai slowly got closer and closer, until she got close enough to place his face into her hands.

Cheelai, "it's okay. Noone's gonna hurt you. Calm down."

Broly slowly returned back to normal, his hair black once more, his green aura and fur gone, and his expression calm.

Broly, "thank you."

Cheelai, "hey, it's no problem. You'd do the same for me if I were like this."

Cheelai gave the Saiyan a kiss on the forehead before saying, "c'mon, Leemo's done with dinner."

And with that, the two of them made their way back to their home.

If it wasn't obvious, Cheelai and Broly had begun what you could call dating. Broly wasn't the smartest, but he was extremely caring towards Cheelai. So much so that he trusted her to calm him down if he lost control of himself.

The two had even grown…. Intimate….

….

Later that night.

Broly lay under his covers, breathing a little heavily. Snuggled in his arms was Cheelai.

Both of them were naked under the covers, and had wild hair.

You can guess what they had just done….

….

Several years later, right before the next five year time skip.

Broly, "you're what?!"

Cheelai, "I'm pregnant. Jeez, why not yell louder so the entire planet will hear ya?"

Broly looked stunned as he got down to look at her stomach, which held a light baby bump.

Broly, "I'm…. Going to be…. A father?"

Cheelai, "that's right. In about nine months, we'll get to meet our baby."

Broly couldn't help the huge smile that grew upon his face as he held Cheelai in his arms.

Broly, "I promise. I'll be a better father…. Than my own."

Cheelai, "I know you will honey. I know."

….

Nine months later.

Broly stood next to Cheelai as she was given a small bundle in purple blankets.

Note: Broly hadn't told his father of his relationship with Cheelai, nor about their child, since he feared that would put them in danger.

Cheelai, "oh, Broly, she's beautiful. Our little Ava."

Cheelai offered their newborn baby to Broly, who took them into his arms carefully.

They were a tiny little thing with light green skin, wild black hair shorter than Broly's hair, with a streak of white in it, and a tail like his.

Broly actually felt himself tear up as the baby opened their purple eyes.

Broly, "h-hello."

Ava giggled as she took Broly's finger into her tiny hands.

Upon that day, Broly swore to protect his new family….

….

Five years after the events of the last chapter.

Broly looked upon the incredible army his father had amassed.

Cheelai approached from behind.

Cheelai, "Leemo has everything packed. Our daughter is on board. What are you gonna say to these other Saiyans?"

Broly, "I'll be straight forward. I'll say; please, I need your help. The universe is in terrible danger."

Cheelai nodded as she got close to Broly and held him.

In the distance, they watched Paragus leading his forces onto a rather large warship.

Cheelai, "will they listen?"

Broly, "I hope so. Come on. We need to get a move on."

Cheelai nodded as she and Broly made their way towards their ship….

And thus, we see Broly and Cheelai grow closer over the years, and we even see them start a family.

I couldn't remember the name of the guy that tried to hit on Cheelai in the film, So I just called him Chad.

We take some time to flashback to several years ago in order to explore the story of these characters, and build up things that are to come...

After this; 5 year time skip, Broly arrives on Earth, (the birth of Neiya and Bulla), 5 year time skip, Bojack, (birth of Pan, Bardock and Dende Jr), Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, maybe Buu, and a combo of stuff from GT and Super over the course of 10 to 15 years, (Black Star Dragon Balls, Baby, Tournament of Power, Nega-Goku, etc.)

By Broly, Gohan, Chi Cha, Videl, Eresa and Dende turn 16, and 20 by Bojack.

Trunks, Mai, Shu, Pilaf, Goten, Maron and Ava will be 5 by Broly, and 10 by Bojack.

Neiya and Bulla will be 5 by Bojack.

In Bojack, Pan, Bardock and Dende Junior will be born during that.

The Black Star saga would be set 15 years after Bojack, and would follow Goku as an adult, (64), Trunks, (25), and Pan, (15), looking for the Black Star Dragon Balls.
