Delilah's POV

It was that time of year again, homecoming. I knew that Peter and Abby were going together as well as Ida and Sebastian. I didn't really like him but Ida did so I obliged. I, however, had no idea who I was going with. James hadn't talked to me at all about it, in fact, I haven't heard from him at all so I decided to text him.

"Hey, you wanna come over after track tomorrow?" While I waited for him to respond, I went upstairs to Daisy's room to see if she was home (she gets overdramatic when I yell for her.) I saw no one but noticed a strange note on her desk. It read, "Abby, tell Ida about me and Peter and Willow gets it."

-Isaiah.

I didn't know what to do. I almost called Daisy but James had texted me. "Sure, I have to tell you something." I didn't know exactly what he was talking about and before I could decipher the messages anymore, I heard Daisy yell," Heyo! I'm home! Lilah, you here?"

"Yep, hey Daisy."

"Sup sis, I invited Seymour and Curtis over," she says. "Cool, I have to go to practice, bye."

School was so boring. In humanity's, all I did was think about the note Daisy had. I was theorizing different ideas when the final bell rang and I hopped out of my seat and left. James was already at my house when I got there. "Hey, it's been a while. Anything new?" I ask. "Well, there is something, sit down," he replies.

"James, this is my house. I sit down when I want to."

"Ok, never mind." Then, he goes into a long discussion about what his issue with Lena. I just nod along trying to remember all that he says. "Alright then," I say once he finishes. "I don't know what to do about our situation yet so I'm going to see if Ida is at her house. I need another opinion." Then I shove him out of the house and sprint to Ida's.

I open the door using the "just in case" key Ida gave me. "Ida! Are you home!" I yell. No answer. I turn to leave when something catches my eye. It's a axe. "Geez, this is a lot for one day," I mutter to myself. Once I inspect the gun, I grab the handle and run back home. I drop onto my bed and drift off, dreaming Isaiah and Willow conniving with a masked figure. What a weird dream.
